Rereading some Hiiro stories in preparation for VS Audience and I've never really noticed this before but I actually really adore how Yuumasu writes him? It feels super respectful characterization-wise by showing how his upbringing and intelligence aren't mutually exclusive, and the Hiiai relationship is very much a two-way street whenever I see them together in their stories, which is what I wish more writers would focus on!

as for my favorite chapter 2 scenes with them... it'd be very easy for me to say all of cyber city LOL but i especially love noelle joining a battle for the first time, where kris and virovirokun have to teach her how battles work (and then she dresses as a nurse and falls over)

i also think there's a lot of funny scenes and dialogue where kris just messes with her for fun ^^ like when kris steps off the forcefield button and noelle is like "kris, no! stay! gosh, do you need a dog treat or something?" theyre so goofyyyyy

LASTLY i dont really know if it counts or not but in noelle's blog post about susie bullying kris, i think its super funny when kris opens the locker door, sees noelle inside, and just.... slowly closes it

i could go on and on im so entranced by every single interaction with them qwtewfyudgyewh but i think those are my favorites... tysm for the ask!!

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

There's a lot of things I like about Mitsuru, her personality and the way she reacts to certain events/characters is probably one of my favourite things about her. I like studying her like a bug. As we all know she is a very special character and even though she's not one of my favourite characters any more I'm still very fond of her!

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Probably the above: I think her interactions with the other characters particularly FeMC, Akihiko and Yukari are just so interesting. Seeing how her history/connection to all of them affects the relationships its just really neat.

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

Hmm. Maybe Arcane. I think she would be a fun addition.

5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?

When the moon's reaching out stars. Is that the name. It's the one she dances to in P3D lol.

Awww, thank you, dear Anon (I’m really pleased with how it came out, so the compliment is much appreciated by me <3 <3)!

This past year has definitely been… an interesting one to say the least, haha, but the amount of white hairs I started my break with has significantly decreased since; I’m definitely not missing any of the deadlines and studying and all that other jazz that comes with uni life, haha 😮‍💨

My break year was definitely much needed, though, I do think I’ll ultimately be prolonging it—at least a little bit. Been ruminating very much on it, and the conclusion I’ve come to is that I currently feel more and more of an inclination to pursue something creative primarily rather than taking on the structure and pain that comes with academics for a more stable career—for the moment, at least. I ultimately want to try and get a first draft of a manuscript finished first at least and see how I feel about it. 

I can still go back to school if I decide this path’s not ultimately right, though I’m not sure if, when/if I do, it will still be veterinary/medicine-focused. We shall see, we shall see…
