Kitaroo & kangaroo headcannons? Pls 🥺 pretty pls

(these are my headcannons. You are free to disagree with them they are simply for fun)

Kangaroo Headcannons (Pt.1?):

-He is 36 & 5"11

-Often wears combat boots with thick soles that elevate his height to 6ft or over.

-Doesn't care a lot about pronouns or his gender presentation. He just exists. Why do you care that much?

-The scars go down the side of his body to his mid thigh. They are the most severe on his face and upper arm/chest.

-The sight in the eye of the scarred side isn't good but he isn't completely blind in it. He doesn't let people know that his sight is affected. The hearing of his scarred ear is fine. But sometimes he acts like it isn't.. If he doesn't want to listen to something, he'll pretend they were talking into his bad ear and that he "couldn't hear them"

-the burned side of his face has slight paralysis

-He is not a very hairy guy.

-He's a motorcycle guy. Owns a Kawasaki. It's his baby he's had for years. Sure he has the money but he thinks the brands like Harley Davidson are hoity toity and elitest. Why pay that much money when a cheaper bike can do the same thing with a little tlc.

-Absolutely a morning person. Up at 5am and raring to go. Goes ona routine morning run. His favorite time to go is before the sun even rises.

-He listens to a mixture of stoner music and yacht rock.

-Paints his nails. Purposefully chips them before putting top coat on for the aesthetic.

-He doesn't drink all that often. He's way more of a soda fiend than he is about alcohol.

-What he is is a smoker. He's not a couple packs a day kind of guy but he smokes a good amount. He only chainsmokes on really bad days.

-He hates the rain. He loves the sounds of storms but hates being in them.

-He smells like warm wood and lingering cigarette smoke.

-He cycles between vanilla nights and kinky nightmares.

-Regardless, the man has no rhythm.

-His dick is 6.6 inches, slender, curves upwards and has a vein just off center on the underside

-what his is good with are his hands. Man can and will finger you for hours. Convinced he has magnets in his fingers that guide him directly to your spot over and over again.

-Sit on his face. It doesn't matter what parts you have. Sit.

-He thinks he's slick. You'll be watching a movie and just feel his hand sliding up your leg.

-High libido but can't do multiple rounds one after another where he himself is the one spending.

Kitaroo (my selfship):

-When they sleep together, they switch off being the little and big spoon. Kangaroo enjoys burying his face in Kat's hair while Kat likes pressing her face into his back. Kang will often rest his head on her tummy or thighs. Kat enjoys laying her head on his chest or just completely over his body like a blanket.

-Kangaroo doesn't mind when Kat's attention is fully on her snake. He knows she loves the little guy and that it makes her happy. The only time he feels jealousy's prickle is when the snake hangs out in her shirt. Why does the little beast get to be so close to her tits when he can't be? unfair.

-The shower incident was the greatest demonstration of him manipulating her anxiety. Afterwards he sends her teasing texts like 'look behind you~' or 'on your right'. This just further driving home that the text was totally a joke and a freak coincidence. They're just jokes right..? So why does she swear she see's glimpses of him in the supermarket when she had gone alone. Why does she feel like someone is following her every morning as she walks to work?

I think Mista would freak out if he ever made it to forty. He wasn't expecting to- he's in the mafia for fuck's sake. With that life expectancy, it's a miracle he made it to his thirties, or even his twenties (thanks, Giorno). There's no way someone in his line of work is surviving ten years tied to the number four.

There's 2 categories of regression headcanons

You fully believe this character is or could be a regressor/cg/flip/something. There's bits in canon that you can point to and say that's why and there's reasons why they would specificially regress or be a caregiver! A headcanon or heartcanon.

For sillies. Feasibly, you could write ANY character to be part of the community! You don't actually think it would fit but you're either imagining it because you're fond of the character and there's just something about it or you're going through all the characters in your head an applying babification to them. I call these "regressorland headcanons" where you prioritise the regression over being true to canon.

Both are great Both are entertaining! But gosh it can be hard to get yourself to answer "do I actually think this would fit or am I just doing this for the sake of it/doing what i think could possibly apply"

I have the most random headcannon about doflamingo but it's partly because of a song.

And that song is no other than my favourite sleep token song: Take me back to Eden.

I'm not going to explain why i attribute this song to doffy(im making another post for this already) nor why it slightly inspired this post(it's not the main point, just something fun i wanted to mention)

so anyway moving past that and onto my actual point of this post..

That man definitely has a thing for eyes.

HEAR ME OUT.

A lot of emotion is shown through one's eyes. This is actually part of the reason why I think that doflamingo never showing his eyes, is such an important detail. Even the few times we see him without his glasses (laws backstory, end of dressrosa.) we never see his eyes. Obviously excluding the one time we actually see his eyes (actually eye) which is his backstory. And technically being able to see the outline of his eyes through his glasses in certain frames.

Also this is really random but do yall know the meme where its like "im wearing glasses so they cant tell where im looking" that's him. That meme is just him.

Anyway back to my headcannon.

I feel like part of him has adapted to seeing emotion in other people's eyes. Like he can look at someone after they've told him something and know they're fuckin lying.

I also think a similar thing is true for his own eyes.

They have so much emotion behind them but little to no expression. This is also why half the time I'm writing him it's like, "But what if he had no glasses." Because I love the idea so fucking much. I also think his eyes would be GORGEOUS but in their own way.

Like just look at Cora's eyes. And how ironic would it be if the brother with the prettiest eyes is also the one who hides them.

Back to him having a thing for eyes tho.

I think he'd go a bit weak seeing the amount of love is visible in someone's eyes. (*cough* mine. *cough*) Like he'd subconsciously search for something, anything, that goes against what your saying and proves you're lying or trying to deceive him, but when there's nothing but adoration, he just crumbles.

It would be the most random or simple things that get him too. "Oh I saw this and thought of you *random trinket*" he's fucking dead and on the floor.

It's things he never really gave a fuck about. (and still doesn't) But the way your eyes are just looking up at him like that.. with something so insignificant and yet you thought of him so you deem it as important. Precious even.

Yep, those are the things that get him.

And I will die on this fucking hill.

Have any headcannons surrounding the winged AUs?

OH BUDDY DON’T GET ME STARTED-

but fr tho, yes actually! I’m working on a new piece involving one of them right now! But I’ll break these hcs down into three categories: Glinda, Elphaba, and Gelphie (where both of them have wings!) because boy do I have a lot lol so here we go! More to come under the cut!

Winged!Glinda🩷

Glinda, at first, was terrified of her wings. They were foreign to her, and she had no clue how to fold them or sit without pressing or sitting on them, or even sleep comfortably without them popping up against her will. (If anyone knows mlp, think when twilight first became an alicorn) Morrible and the Wizard were no help, urging her to hide them. And learning to fly was out of the question. Of course they couldn’t risk her defecting like Elphaba had all those years ago.

She was used as an example. Paraded around Oz as not only the figurehead of “Glinda the Good” but also as a warning. Of the consequences of what happens when you become close with someone so evil as The Wicked Witch.

Over time, Glinda slowly built up a resentment towards Elphaba for cursing her with these things. She couldn’t see the beauty in what they were, and only saw a reminder of the woman who meant everything to her. However, when Elphie did come onto the scene, and Glinda saw how horrified and regretful and apologetic she was, any anger was gone and she broke down on the spot. Months of pent up emotions being brought to the surface at the sight of her. Elphaba held Glinda close while stroking her wings, the first time anyone dared to touch them gently. And whispered tender apologies and reassurances.

Fast forward when they’re actually able to be together. Elphaba uses the knowledge she’s gained from being with so many Animals to help Glinda, while also calling on other Birds to come show Glinda the things she can’t.

Preening is something Elphaba does for Glinda quite frequently, because once getting used to and accepting the wings as a whole, she insists on keeping them as put together as the rest of her.

They do this thing where they puff up if she’s agitated. Elphaba thinks it’s funny, Fiyero, (I love to see the three of them still portrayed as close friends in fics post Shiz, so I’ll include him if scenario warrants. Because despite my rock solid devotion and bias to gelphie, I’m still rocking with him as a character) who I like to think remains their guard captain and subsequently their friend, also thinks it’s funny when Elphaba finally shows him she’s not exaggerating. Glinda does not find it nearly as amusing as they do.

Flying isn’t something Glinda does regularly. It takes a lot of energy and quite frankly she doesn’t like what it does to her hair, so the bubble is still her preferred method of travel. But Elphaba is very insistent that she does do it occasionally so her wings don’t get stiff and cramped.

Winged!Elphaba 💚

Elphaba’s wings come from a spell she made herself, because she wasn’t sure how to keep it from getting out of hand like the last few times. When she does figure it out, it’s incredibly painful like it was for the monkeys. She’s so sore all she can do is try and sleep it off.

They’re big, and heavy, and it takes her time to become adjusted. They change the way she has to distribute her weight when she walks.

Hammocks become her best friend because for the first time in a while she can sleep on her stomach and back without having her wings at strange angles and fully stretched out for a change. The Birds and Winged Monkeys are also very helpful whenever she has a question about feathers or flying. Elphaba watches and picks up on their habits quickly.

Flying without her broom the first couple of times did result in very rough crash landings. She knew it would be different, but not that different.

Hearing her fly in the night and seeing nothing but these massive black wings is terrifying, especially for the Emerald Guards. She can fly quietly when she wants to, but sometimes she’ll use those loud wingbeats as a form of intimidation.

Now, up until the point where she and Glinda reunite on the balcony, Glinda hadn’t properly seen Elphaba. She’d heard rumors about her appearance, and even seen passing glances. But never seen her up close until that night.

Elphaba expected her to be taken aback, similarly to how she reacted when first confronted with her verdigris. When Glinda didn’t say anything, Elphaba turned away, unable to look her in the eye. But when she felt a gentle tug on her wing, Elphaba looked over her shoulder to see Glinda running her fingers through the feathers with a look filled with so much admiration, affection, and respect, along with a whispered; “You actually did it…”

When they manage to be together, Glinda of course, has a million questions. All of which are answered very patiently while they’re laying together and Elphie has her wings wrapped around Glinda like a protective cocoon.

Speaking of, Glinda loves it. They’re soft and silky, and an added warmth to the one Elphaba’s body already supplies when they cuddle.

Glinda’s also adamant of feather upkeep. Elphaba doesn’t do much besides pick out the loose feathers she can reach, or try and shake any dirt out, but Glinda’s the one who has incorporated preening into their nightly routine. It’s relaxing for both of them.

Winged!Gelphie 🩷💚

So the two of them together have very different uses for their wings. Elphaba’s are used more for flying, while Glinda very much values aesthetics. On top of the morning routine Glinda already goes through, she’s added meticulous wing care to the mix. It’s already a long process for her every day routine, but when they have public appearances together as the leaders of Oz, it’s to an entirely different level.

As stated in Glinda’s section, the girl does not like to fly. Elphaba has to practically beg to get her up in the air for a little while.

I like to think that for this particular version where they both have wings, Elphie had them first, and still gave them to Glinda unintentionally. Perhaps by trying to enchant something for Glinda to ride like she had her broom (or the bubble) and it backfiring. With this, comes the guilt and Elphaba having to teach Glinda how to cope with them.

Between the two of them, there are. Feathers. Everywhere. If they have a particularly rough night in bed and they’re both restless, or move their wings too much in their sleep, it looks like bird lost a fight with an electric fan. I’m talking black and white tufts all over. It’s especially rough during molting season, where Glinda is convinced she’s going to lose every feather she has.

Speaking of beds, they really needed time to figure that out. When it was just Elphaba with wings, it was manageable. Elphaba didn’t usually need to stretch them out at night, but on the odd chance she did, Glinda actually kind of liked it. Though when they both have them, they eventually get a much bigger bed, and are able to sleep more comfortably together.

I know I’ve mentioned in the last two, but preening. It’s is very important to them as a couple. It’s a special bonding time for the two of them just like birds irl. There are times when Elphaba comes back from a particularly rough crusade of freeing Animals and her wings are so full of dirt and leaves and twigs that Glinda spends the better part of an hour cleaning her up. Or after a party or event where Glinda’s added all sorts of glitter and/or oils to her feathers, and Elphaba takes it off for her before bed.

They will use their wings to give social cues to one another, especially when out in the public eye or amongst other figureheads in Oz. A nudge on the back without breaking posture as a go ahead for the other to speak, spread slightly outwards as a signal one wants the other close, even thrown up as a barrier of sorts when they want to have private sidebars.

While it’s definitely an adjustment, the changes and shared experiences have done nothing but strengthen their bond. It makes sense that it would given a lot of birds mate for life after all.

End note: If anyone stayed to the end, I appreciate it! This got very long I’m sorry 😭 what was meant to be just like a handful of general hcs turned into like an entire essay lmao. All these thoughts have been simmering for a LONG time and I finally had somewhere to put them.

something that is like the baseline of amys entire character to me is that shes lonely. shes clingy and physically affectionate in a way none of her friends really are, shes always getting pushed aside and left behind. yeah, she helps out people she doesnt know because shes a nice person, but also, she sees part of herself in them. she wont leave someone else behind because she knows the feeling —and more importantly, hates the feeling. if she doesnt have somebody to stand by her and be there for her, then shes going to be that person for everybody else. something something her obsession with sonic is really just like a manifestation of that desire for closeness with someone, and she thinks that romance is the only way to get that. idk... this hedgehog can have so many abandonment issues.

Thought about my theory while reading the trilogy for the first time. I had gotten right that Maggie was Evie very early on but I had also theorized that she'd have a much bigger role in the story. I was consistently getting hype to see Maggie investigate Nova more, like I REALLY wanted to see Maggie be ONTO Nova's identity, and the bracelet was just the beginning.

This went along with my theory that Maggie was found by Captain Chromium and her different name was a result of being put under some kind of witness protection. A niece of Ace Anarchy that survived him just wouldn't be safe if she was in the public eye as Evie Artino. But Hugh and Simon would know, probably not Adrian, and Maggie wouldn't be clueless to her real identity. Theory went that she was trying to find her sister and she'd help Nova escape prison! Maybe..

Nowadays I like some aspects of the theory since it would make much more sense for THAT to have happened, but Maggie's character doesn't align with it very well. It would change her a lot if she secretly had connections to Hugh and Simon, knew her real identity, and all. It would make Hugh and Simon also look a little bit like jackasses cuz REALLY??? THE DUMPING GROUND??? FOR THE ARTINOS DAUGHTER??? WHERE SHE GAINED A SURVIVOR MENTALITY?? If they put her there they'd take her back quickly if they were to be written like they Cared

A more updated au-ified version of this that I thought of was: What if the Tucker Family took her in? Either adopted or fostered, doesn't matter too much for au purposes. Idr how young Adrian was when he met Ruby, but maybe Maggie was at the children's home for a little, they realize it's overcrowded and underfunded, take her out and fund the place, and then they meet the Tuckers.

They'd HAVE to get money for it of course, since they are crammed at their home already in canon, but the family that swears on no secrets sounds pretty fitting for Maggie. Secret girl who wants to know everything about her family.

She gets an older sister and two barely older brothers, she's the baby!! They'd remind her of it constantly and she'd hate it!! She'd be little contrarian. She doesn't get as hyped as her siblings do for the Renegades Council, bc contrarian but her own list of reasons for being upset with them. From failing to protect her family (she knows WHY still hurts), then didn't consider adopting her (doesn't fully understand their reasoning), and Dumping her at an orphanage that SUCKED but they at least took her out of not toooo long afterwards (maybe she'd be there for four or five years? She wouldn't remember a ton but enough to dislike it)

The Tucker's would know at least a little about her backstory, and the gravity of it staying a secret in the family. The twins would know less than the rest, I could see Maggie not wanting them to know as much

Since Margaret Tucker would have a family that'd struggle with money, she'd probably still steal a bunch to help out. She'd have spent some time at the children's home where she'd learn that, but she really puts it to use to help her family. She'd steal, pawn it off, come back and hide the money in various places around their home so it isn't a sudden increase in cash. Just "oh sweet! Must have lost this"

She's not very good at the "no secrets" rule.

One secret they'd def find out about is her becoming a Renegade, but Ruby might defend her. She'll be with clean up teams and could really exercise her asset perception to help the city! She wouldn't be in danger

Maggie Tucker may be a little less of a problem than canon Maggie? Since she'd probably have a little more stable life and having an actual family would do a lot for her methinks. But she'd still steal Nova's bracelet, and No Secrets Maggie who's been waiting for this moment immediately investigates Nova. And Supernova would go different, as well as many interactions between them

(post reveal here would feature sister jealousy lol "oooo your jealous of Rubbyyy!!" Nova: "I'm not jealous!!" "LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE" Maggie loves them equally)

so

i've been writing, and right now my works are dealing with varric's death at solas' hands

and tbh it isn't easy or fun to write. but while working through these scenes, i keep coming back to the same thing, and my characters keep coming back to the same thing: this was what varric wanted. not to die, obviously, but he wanted to reach solas. he wanted to stop him

and, for me, it would take a very particular rook to make a choice about solas, to go with anything other than the redemption ending, not least because i struggle to create a rook who wouldn't see that as a fundamental betrayal of varric's memory and what he'd spent the last ten years of his life working towards

this is not a criticism about ppl who make that choice btw. but yeah, it's interesting to me, esp bc i've seen ppl who make that choice 100% because solas kills varric. to avenge him, or to punish solas

again: not criticizing. for me, and for my rooks and my inkys, all of whom care deeply about varric, none of them want to do smth that they feel is betraying him, and that is how they would view it

just smth intriguing to me about the different angles to look at this
