With you being a Wolfgrace shipper, what's your thoughts on the fact that they canonically fucked

I personally think it's absolutely hilarious, and also very telling when it comes to how much trust Grace actually had in Wolfgang

i am under the impression that a decent chunk of my followers are minors, so i'm going to put my thoughts under the keep reading. please don't open this if you're under 18 (or don't want spoilers for P:EG Chapter 1)!

i guess it makes sense that people would fuck during a killing game (? <- confused aspec), and the clothes scattered around the room also certainly had that... implication. even if Ulysses confirms that Wolfgang was just a messy guy, the fact that it was both of their clothes either meant that they were matching each other's freak or... matching each other's freak 😏

the thing that really gets me about this is the timing. roommates were assigned on the night of Day 2 (area investigation day), and the Ulysses/Grace swap happened on the night of Day 3. meanwhile, Wolfgang turns up dead in the morning of Day 5. this means that, assuming that Wolfgang and Grace were "sleeping together" (AKA, they fucked at night), the fucking occurred on the night of Day 3, Day 4, or both.

DAY 3

if they fucked on the night of Day 3, this means that after swapping the rooming assignments around, they immediately started fucking. was this the purpose of changing rooms? was Grace rushing Ulysses' move out because she wanted to have sex with Wolfgang faster? did Wenona and Ulysses know that this would happen?

WAIT I THOUGHT THIS SOUNDED SUS WHEN I FIRST READ THE SCENE BUT I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS REAL OH MY GOD. THEY DEFINITELY FUCKED ON THIS NIGHT

we also know that the dorms are not soundproof, and in fact have pretty thin walls, as Damon is able to hear Jett sneeze from in the hallway. Wolfgang's room is right next to Mark, and right across from Ingrid's. i don't know if it's been confirmed which of Jett and Mark and Toshiko and Ingrid's room each pair is staying in respectively, but this means there's a decent chance that any of them could have overheard Wolfgang and Grace fucking. there are children about, you sickos (/lh). is this why Mark is such a hater all the time.

also, fucking on Day 3 means that they slept together on the night before the bonus laundry scene. did Ingrid invite them because she knew there were things she didn't want to wash? ,':/

DAY 4

Day 4 is funny because it opens up the possibility of Grace seducing Wolfgang into gaming with her. ladies, now you know how to make your man step away from the pachinko ;)

i would also have to wonder what was going through Grace's mind the next morning when Wolfgang woke up with a stomach ache. pussy so bad it makes your partner fall ill. where was i going with this

anyways yeah, it really is crazy that two people who generally seem really untrusting of others were able to grow that close with each other that fast. naturally, just because they had sex doesn't mean that they had to be interested in pursuing anything romantic, or therefore more (emotionally) "vulnerable." however, given how upset Grace seems about Wolfgang's death, and the fact that Wolfgang suddenly started calling Grace "Grace" as opposed to "Ms. Madison" (even if the voice line still says Ms. Madison) at the Day 4 breakfast, I would guess that there was mutual interest to some degree.

that also makes Wolfgang's actions on the morning of Day 5 all the more intriguing. if he really did care about Grace, that in my opinion increases the likelihood that he truly did take the knife for self defense. otherwise, if he became the blackened, he would necessarily be signing either his or Grace's death warrant. he definitely could care for her but value his own life and secret more, but again, it leans towards him lashing out at Diana being a result of the hallucinogenics. i'll have to chew on that more in the future.

It's never "they still allowed themselves to vulnerable around each other in an environment where leaving yourself unguarded around the wrong person meant death." Wolfgrace shouldn't have happened BUT IT DID, and that's the point, the tragedy of it. Against all odds and expectations, they managed to craft something bittersweet and vulnerable in the nightmare they found themselves in, found themselves able to bond and care for each other in a way they haven't had the luxury to experience before setting foot on that train. And it's LITERALLY GRACE. She camps in her room, isolates herself from everybody, has had the closest run in with death out of anyone while being stuck with a bunch of people that have been given both motives and the means to kill her at any time-- yet she managed to put her trust in a man that has proven himself to her as dependable, choose to move in with him and was willing to be near him at her most defenceless, decided to sleep with him and went to hunt him down to get him to go to the tournament with her and was utterly distraught and grieving and heartbroken when she discovered his body. And ITS LITERALLY GRACE--

Day 15: A Soft Reprieve

5 weeks and 4 days. That was how long it took Madeline to find him. To find her own goddamn little brother, who she had sworn to protect since they were children.

Madeline couldn't remember the last time she'd been at peace, since this whole ordeal began.

What had started as a night out with his friends had ended in Rayan getting taken captive for weeks, all for the petty excuse of him being Immortal. Half of his arm, gone, replaced with a pathetic chunk of metal. Faded scars from what Madeline could only assume was torture, since Rayan wasn't too keen on explaining his situation.

But this was a nice change of pace. Her phone wasn't buzzing, bombarded with threats from an unknown number. Rayan tucked against her side, fast asleep on the sofa with a soft blanket draped over his shoulders. A random, shitty show displayed on the television, in a futile attempt to ease her sullen mood. But what was there to be happy about? Sure, Rayan was home, but what had happened to him plagued Madeline's mind. What if he was never found?

“Hey,” Vivana appeared in the doorway, holding two mugs of tea in each of her hands. “You okay?”

“Yeah.” She replied with a sigh, looking over with a tense smile. “Just tired.”

“Well, don't fall asleep until you've had this tea. I made it with love.”

“As always.” Madeline remarked, watching as the elf walked over and set the two mugs on the coffee table, sitting herself down beside her. Hand buried in Rayan's hair, rubbing small circles into his scalp, she pulled her brother closer to her side.

“How's Rayan?”

“Good. Maybe. I— I don't know, he's still not talking much.” As she spoke, Madeline looked over to the small figure of her brother, face buried in the side of her torso. Lines tainted his mouth and eyes that had not been there prior to his captivity, arms wrapped around his sister's arm for dear life. “At least he's asleep. Stubborn little shit thinks he doesn't need it."

“He's still not talking?”

She shrugged. “I don't know what could've happened to make him stop talking.”

Vivana sighed, draping her arm across Madeline's shoulder. “Maddie, honey, c'mon. Stop worrying about what happened and what could've happened. He's home now, it's over. For both him and you.”

“I just—” Madeline swallowed, shaking her head as she toyed with the ring on her finger. “I can't.. help but think about what could've happened if Evelyn hadn't taken him in. He still wouldn't be here. He'd be on the streets, wasting away, and we'd be chasing our tails trying to find him. He was already half dead when she found him so—”

“In mortal terms.”

“That's still bad! If he wasn't Immortal, he'd be brown fucking bread and it'll all be my fault for not looking out for him!”

“Maddie, stop.” Vivana chided with a reassuring grin. She reached a hand up to place it on Madeline's cheek, brushing her thumb under the dark, watery green eyes above. “He's okay. He's here, and he's recovering, and he's Immortal. He's a lucky bastard, as stupid as he is sometimes.”

Maddie returned with a tense smile, leaning into her touch. “I'm the stupid one.”

“No you're fucking not. You were looking out for him as best as you could; it isn't like you could see into the future and make preparations from there. And,” She held up a finger. “Don't even mention wishing you could do that. You did the best you could, and that's all that matters.”

At first, Madeline didn't believe it. But the sheer sincerity in Vivana’s eyes, the unwavering smile that always seemed to lighten her day, made her second guess. “...Fine.”

“Thank you.” Pressing a soft peck to her cheek, Vivana reached for the remote. “This show’s horrible, at least put something kind of happy on. Corrie?”

“Nothing good happens in Corrie either.”

“Well, sometimes— okay, fine. I'll have a look. Either that, or we can just watch a film?”

“I'm— I'm not fussed, Viv.”

Vivana shrugged. “Film it is. Might pick a lighter one; it'll be a nice surprise for Rayan, hearing you laugh for once in your life.”

Madeline snorted, elbowing Vivana lightly in the side. “Dick.”

“I don't have one.” Vivana grinned, resting her head on the other's shoulder.

“That is why I married you.”

“That's it? What about my amazing looks? My glowing personality?”

A laugh bubbled in Madeline's throat. “Fuck off—!”

“L, is for the way you look at me..” A voice sang, as they worked on the ropes binding who, in their head, was still their boyfriend, even if Chris didn’t want to accept that.

The words echoed in Chris’s dazed head, barely able to see anything with how dark it was. But he knew that voice. He’d recognise it anywhere.

“O, is for the only one I see…” The voice continued, as he slowly crossed the room, standing back to admire their handiwork.

Chris wanted to speak, but found his mouth was taped off, eyes widening a little as he began to squirm, squirming of which only stopped at a touch to the shoulder.

“V, is very very extraordinary…”

Chris whimpered with fear, glancing up over his shoulder as the touch left his shoulder, before the footsteps began to move across the room once more.

“E, is even more than anyone that you adore can-“

The light flicked on, blinding Chris for a small moment as his eyes adjusted from pitch black darkness to the light of a dodgy, humming light bulb… and Madir’s form, approaching him.

“Love is all that I can give to you…” Madir continued, grinning softly as he tipped up Chris’s chin, brushing his thumb over the tape. “Love is more than just a game for two…”

Chris’s wide eyes met Madir’s, hyperventilating and suffocating at the same time. He couldn’t breathe evenly, but he could barely breathe at all.

“Two, in love can make it,” A knife, the blade catching the light, “take my heart but please don’t break it..” He punctuated that second last word by driving the knife into Chris’s thigh.

Chris screamed against the tape as the burning pain shot up his thigh, back arching from the sensation.

“Love, was made for me and you…”
