I think Fugitive Telemetry is pretty funny from Indah's perspective. There's a murder on the station. You alert your government leader, and they bring their bodyguard/corporate-spy-and-murder-construct with them to the scene of the crime. Turns out it's also Sherlock Holmes. It alternates talking like it's in a TV show, and making various ominous statements, including things like "if I killed them, you'd never find the bodies." It refuses to elaborate on that one. Well that's comforting. It does go on to show that it couldn't have done the murder. But did it just confess to murder? Why did it just confess to murder? It goes on to save your officers lives (wait, did it just hack the system it promised not to hack? Eh, we'll let it slide this time.) and then mount a solo rescue mission (extremely successful, except for being shot by the people it's saving), and still hasn't killed anyone. So far. It already forgot that someone got murdered and that you were actually trying to solve a crime. Anyway, once you give it full access to your security system, it solves the crime within an hour or so. Turns out it was your coworker of 43 years. Who was actually a corporate-spy-and-murder-robot this whole time.

(uhm, ancient queen zelda and ganondorf backstory doodles- largely irrelevant to the totk rewrite since it would be purely implied in the environment and in a few lines of diary but it keeps spinning in my head so i had to make some doodles)

(want to make some doodles of it all falling apart too but i need to post these now- the summary is really just that the ancient queen and ganondorf were close friends (to lovers) in their youth until she has to marry a hyrulian knight, after which they barely see each other anymore and their relationship slowly turns sour as time passes (due to various reasons) and after her discovering the ruins the sonau protected speaking of an ancient evil she grows afraid of him and begins to enact a scheme to seal him away-)

(the doodle in the snow there is about the extra idea that ganondorfs first daughter is with her but since shes married to the knight at that point already it would be a scandal- so it is secretly brought to him to raise instead- its a .. kinda classical royal drama but i got attached to the idea bc it adds even more weight to their conflict and its escalation later... also a bit more .. human? like people and their relationships can be complicated and messy, it can make things more interesting .. but this is still all just a concept, havent decided to use it yet)

Doodle dump from chapters 25-30 of my Charlastor fic, Under My Skin. I loved exploring the growing intimacy, both emotional and physical, between these two in these chapters. Early relationship fluff is one of my favorite things to write. 🥰

Sorry, they gave Yoo Joonghyuk, the only “male” master of breaking the sky SWORD technique a fucking gun?! I don’t care if I sound like some kinda purist. ORV shouldn’t have other adaptations. It only truly works as a written, or read aloud, story. It’s a story about written stories. It’s about the relationship between writer, reader, and protagonist.

The webtoon is as close to a decent adaptation one could hope for and it still falls short. Live action or anime will never properly adapt ORV. This isn’t one piece, they will not adequately adapt 551 chapters. How many shows last that long???

I've been thinking about it for a while, but the Mihoyo games fandoms are... Really less than courteous when it comes to spoilers.

I'm a loyal consumer of leaks myself, but I swear the fandom at large acts like everyone is - and not just is, but apparently should be.

There's been fanart in the HSR fandom regarding a certain character and a certain boss' relationship for weeks when not even the 3.1 main mission has touched upon it - because it comes from leaks regarding the future of the story. With the change in Genshin drip marketing schedule, it's quite literally impossible to find out who the new characters are officially because they're leaked at least a week prior and fanart (of course, untagged) starts flooding social media. There were also edits of the new 5.4 CGs everywhere as soon as the preload hit the servers, spoiling essentially everyone who wanted to wait for the version to, you know, actually be out.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but it makes for a very poor fandom experience when everyone acts like you're expected to follow leaks or you're the one responsible for getting things spoiled for you. It costs absolutely nothing to tag your leak-inspired or preload-datamined stuff as spoilers.

okay I've got a theory/ramble about why Aaron and Andrew's deal fell apart so much, and it's because the level of protection they were thinking about was so very different. Andrew was basically the only thing standing in between Kevin and the fucking mafia, and at no point is it implied that this was a lot to ask of him. Andrew came into this fully prepared to fight anyone with any amount of power to keep his end of the deal. Aaron most likely thought he was going to get help against Highschool bullies and being picked on. He did not expect to have to go to the ends of the earth for this
