can we maybe get a blurb about bf ale comforting reader after a nightmare? she just screams warmth and calm and i need that in my life
three things II a.putellas
alexia's eyes fluttered open as she felt a sudden eratic movement beside her, the catalan blinking groggily as her sight adjusted to the dimly lit room, able to make our your silhouette sat at the end of the bed, shoulders hunched over as she heard your loud and labored breathing fill the bedroom.
"amor?" she rasped out, sitting up and running a hand through her hair. when you didn't respond the girl frowned, crawling forwards and gently tugging on the back of your top. you jumped about a foot in the air as she did, alexia quickly withdrawing her hand.
"hey. amor what has happened?" your girlfriend asked quietly, accent even thicker in her half asleep state, moving to throw the covers off and slowly standing, coming to squat on the floor between your legs.
her hazel eyes shone with concern as her hands came to rest on your knees, gently rubbing your legs as her heart broke seeing the obvious discomfort and distress in your features.
"it felt so real i-" you mumbled, burying your face in your hands and letting out a small sob you tried to muffle. "oh princessa." alexia whispered realizing you'd clearly had a bad dream of sorts, standing up and pulling your head to rest on her stomach as she gently cradled you.
"you are safe, you are here with me. and i would not ever let anything bad happen to you baby." alexia promised over and over, one hand scratching at your scalp as the other gently rubbed your back, feeling your tears wet her skin, the taller girl only clad in boxers and a plain black sports bra, the night air thick with the heat of a barcelona summer.
"come on princessa." alexia cooed gently after awhile as you started to calm, still clutching tightly onto her as she gently pried away your hands and helped you back into bed with her.
the older girl sat up against the headboard of her bed, sitting you in between her legs resting against her chest as her hands found your shoulders, gently massaging away the growing tension in your upper body.
"three things you can see bonita." alexia whispered, kissing tenderly behind your ear, knowing exactly how to ground you as you nodded, heart still racing a million miles in your chest.
"the desk, your notebook and your medal." you mumbled quietly, trying to even out your breathing, head still reeling and trying to work out if you were still awake or somehow dreaming.
"three things you can feel." alexia mumbled as she kissed your neck softly, hands slipping down to wrap around your stomach protectively, your head slumping tiredly against her shoulder.
"your lips, the bed sheets and your hands." you answered, squeezing your eyes shut as alexia whispered sweet nothings in your ear, the older girl showering you with praise.
"now three things you can smell, you're doing so good hermosa." your girlfriend promised as you finally started to come back down to earth with her. "lavender, nala's bed, you." you breathed out a little shakily, desperately trying to focus on the way alexias short nails scratched your abs, her lips lovingly trailing their own treasure map across your neck.
"and three things you can hear baby." alexia spoke, gently guiding you to lay down with her, strong arms never leaving their rightful place wrappped around your torso. you took a moment to listen, closing your eyes again as alexias lips lingered on your forehead, mumbling tender adorations into your sweat dampened skin.
"the trees moving with the wind, the cars driving outside and..." you struggled to hear anything else, mind becoming fuzzy as alexia wrapped you up tightly in her love.
"hey it's fine amor. you did so good, so so good. my pretty girl, my best girl." alexia praised you, squeezing you tighter as you nodded, starting to feel yourself slip back into what you prayed would be a dreamless slumber.
"go to sleep mi corazón i will be right here beside you, forever and always."

Look hard at my stripes, there'll be no more after me
Day 23 - extinct
[ID: photo of a drawing made in two pages of a small notebook. It features a tiger showing the stripes on their sides, looking back at the viewer. There's text at the top left of the first page and at the bottom right of the second one written in Spanish in all caps. The first page says "Mira bien mis rayas," which translates to "Look hard at my stripes,"; the text on second page says "no habrá más después de mí", which translates to "there'll be no more after me". The drawing was made with felt-tip pens and crayons. End ID]
I still wanna do day 28, but I'm a little busy, so have this one in the meantime. It's dedicated to the Javan, Bali and Caspian tiger subspecies, now extinct due to intense hunting.
Also, this was inspired by the "Extinction" PMV, which lists the many wildlife species that were lost due to human activity and includes the Javan tiger, I highly recommend it!

The Wrath of Sleep - Sleeptober 2024 Day 4 - Prompt "Wrath"
word count: 734
content warning: implied/referenced self harm
author's note: I tried something different in terms of perspective in this one because of its personal nature. I hope you enjoy.
I’ve been afraid to sleep. In the Dreamworld, She is always listening. I fear she might visit me if I allow myself to rest.
Days upon days without sleep have turned me into little more than a zombie. Stumbling about, fog in my mind, it feels as though my head is filled with cotton. I can’t think. But I also cannot sleep.
There’s a chill in the air, a cool breeze coming in through the open window and racing out the open door of my bedroom. Sitting at my desk, I battle fiercely my need for rest. I fear I cannot keep going like this, but… I fear Her more.
I shiver and glance out the window. The stars above twinkle eerily, the full moon shines brightly, casting long shadows across the floor. I think I see Her figure in the dark clouds. I wince, blink a few times, and She is gone.
Another shiver runs down my spine. I turn back towards my notebook. Only a few hours until dawn, for when the sun rises, I am safe.
The scribbling of my pen is a repetitive, soothing sound. I refuse to let it lull me to sleep. The scribbling grows erratic, my body moves against its own will, drawing out shapes I cannot see. When I finally drop the pen, I must catch a breath. I blink in the dim light, but I still cannot make out what I have drawn. I turn the page and start over. The scribbling is repetitive and soothing.
You have forsaken me.
I stand in the dark forest. The trees are so high and the foliage so thick they create a black dome overhead, concealing the moon and the stars. Thick mist rolls across the moss covered forest floor.
I cannot speak. The voice echoing in my head will soon gain a form. She wears a veil that conceals Her nonexistent features, a faceless apparition that dawns a long black cape, further obscuring any identifiable characteristics from view. She seems to glide forward, Her feet never touching the ground.
I want to step back but I am frozen.
You forget yourself, She says.
“I only thought…” I trail off, mortified to speak the truth. She tilts her head. Patience is not one of Her virtues. I swallow. The truth would do me no good at this time. I’d better apologize for my transgression. “I never meant to abandon you. I’m sorry.”
A deal with me is not easily broken. A chuckle echoes through my mind, though the figure before me remains motionless. Some might say such a thing is impossible.
“I know,” I say and my voice betrays me.
Then, why!?
Her disembodied voice raises in volume and my head feels like it might explode. I cover my ears but I know there is no escaping the sound.
Your duty, Vessel! You have forsaken it!
I fall to my knees before Her. Somehow, it always ends that way. “I’m sorry.”
Your apology is meaningless. Have I not given you all? Everything you wished for, in the palm of your hand? You disrespect me, Vessel. You will suffer for it.
I suffer for Her daily regardless. I couldn’t possibly raise this as an argument lest She get even more enraged. I fear Her wrath. I fear Her.
“I won’t disappoint you again,” I say, lifting my gaze towards the veil, behind which a face should be… or might be.
You won’t. Her words are no reassurance, rather a threat.
I begin to shake. I was a fool to think I could ever be free of Her. I was a fool to think I might escape her design.
She doesn’t move, but I feel it, an invisible hand caresses my cheek in an almost comforting manner.
My dearest Vessel. You know it is better off this way. You know what’s at stake, you have so much to lose. It doesn’t have to be that way. You need only do what I ask.
“Anything,” I say weakly.
Cold lips press a gentle kiss to my forehead. I love you.
“I love you too,” I push the words out, insincere. She can surely tell, but I know She does not truly care for my love.
When I wake, I am standing in front of my mirror. Crimson rivulets run down my cut up arms. Once again, I have succumbed to Her.

Idol Land PriPara 06
A very simple and cute episode that advanced the plot a good deal!
So where we last left off...
Mario had confronted Amari in the woods. He rambles off the things Amari wrote in her junior high notebook about him and how now they can finally destroy the world together, only for Amari to cover her ears and run away.
Mario notices then that as Amari continues to deny him, he's beginning to disappear.
Tumblr media
But he manages to shake it off, and curses the kirakira that has changed the darkness inside Amari.
Meanwhile, Amari continues to run until she runs into Michiru and her dousing rods. She decides to follow Michiru for fear of being lost in the woods, only to meet up with Gaarmageddon and find herself forced onto their mission to find and capture the "monster" they found footprints of in the woods.
Tumblr media
After various mishaps...
Tumblr media
Amari finds herself being told by Michiru, a junior high schooler who hangs out with Gaarmageddon, that she needs to grow up. Amari tries to steel herself as the oldest, but by the time she finishes tending to her bug bites she realizes everyone is gone. Also, it's starting to rain.
Tumblr media
Wet hair Amari wow.
After taking shelter from the rain, Amari realizes that the rock formation she thought she took shelter under was not a rock formation at all.
Tumblr media
Naturally she's terrified at first, but after seeing birds and animals flocking to Pololo, Amari realizes she must be nice and calls out to her.
Tumblr media
Amari and Pololo sit together for what the anime implies might be hours before they both finally admit they aren't good at talking to people they just met.
Finally, they introduce each other and get along fantastically. Pololo says she's been in the woods for tens of thousands of years, and thus she has just grown bigger over time. She likes listening to everyone's lives, but when Amari suggests meeting everyone and becoming friends Pololo begins to cry because she thinks everyone will be scared of her. A flustered Amari needs a dictionary to explain what friends are to Pololo, but ends up suggesting that Amari and Pololo are already friends. To which Pololo shows her her happy face.
Tumblr media
It's here we learn that Pololo's happiness has the power to fix bugs in PriPara as all the little black fuzzies turn into flowers!
Pololo's happiness does not last for long, however. In trying to help Amari reunite with Garrmageddon and Michiru, she trips and falls. Then, feeling as though she's scared or hurt Amari, she cries again and runs away.
Upon reuniting with the others, Amari explains the situation and the quartet decides to perform as Gaarmageddon-Mi in order to reach Pololo.
Tumblr media
Love these coords! Idol Land is all about butt wings and I'm here for it hahaha. I wonder how they will release them. (They aren't gonna do four gatchas are they!?)
Tumblr media
They even get a new making drama featuring Pololo.
After the performance, Amari wonders if Pololo heard and a pleased Pololo can be seen clapping quietly from the woods.
Tumblr media
All is well as Meganii draws attention to all the kirakira generated from the live UNTIL...
Tumblr media
Mario bursts through the screen and starts shooting bugs everywhere. He's still glitching out but trying to ignore it.
Tumblr media
"A BOY!!" - Said as though they have seen a terrible monster.
(That one girl is totally into it though, as I've just noticed upon posting this screenshot haha. Reminds me of that one girl who was totally into Alexander destoring the stadium in Kinpri.)
Tumblr media
Upon hearing the name "Mario", Amari repeats it over and over again as she slowly realizes what's going on. "Is this all my fault!?"
So, it was made pretty clear in this episode that Mario and Pololo are polar opposites. As in, Mario creates bugs and Pololo fixes them. Therefore, the easy solution would just be everyone becomes friends with Pololo and ignores Mario until he disappears. But I dunno! Mario deserves to exist, I think! He's a great idol! So, the PriPara way would probably be to have him come around, become accepted by Amari in some way, maybe join Dark Nightmare or something after all. Hmm hmm.
(Yes, I do know episode summaries have leaked and I do not intend to read them. Consider yourself blocked if you're writing a comment about this at the moment.)

Fabric Capacity metrics app

If finding a lost item on your island
These are the phrases to look for when narrowing down whom each lost item belongs to.
Cranky
* Book: There are lots of pictures of potted trees inside. It looks like an introductory guide to bonsai trees.
* Notebook: An old planner that’s seen plenty of wear and tear. The last page has tally marks… They are up to 12 now.
* Bag 1: A sturdy, old-fashioned sort of bag. It gets full points for utility and zero points for style.
* Bag 2: This classic pouch was built with functionality in mind, nothing more. It’s the work of a craftsman. Maybe.
Jock
* Book: This book is hard to read. The pages are warped, like they’ve gotten wet before. I think it’s an exercise book.
* Notebook: Somebody scribbled something on the cover in pencil. Looks like it reads, “xtreme xercises”?
* Bag 1: A very simple bag … that’s a tad open. I spot some gym clothes, I think.
* Bag 2: A dusty, well-used bag. It vaguely smells like minty sports creams that athletes use.
Lazy
* Book: A well-used, well-loved picture book. There are little broken bits of candy between the pages…
* Notebook: This looks like someone’s diary. Is this a stain from drool? Maybe they fell asleep on it while writing.
* Bag 1: This pouch is stuffed with something that smells delicious and is probably full of sugar.
* Bag 2: This pouch looks like it’s starting to tear in places. It’s a little sticky too. Did someone spill juice on it?
Smug
* Book: It’s a novel. The author was obviously trying to be fancy by using lots of foreign words. I don’t get it.
* Notebook: The cover of the book says “Mi diario secreto.” I get the feeling I shouldn’t look inside.
* Bag 1: It’s a stylish bag. The complex design says more about style than it does about function.
* Bag 2: A stylish bag that looks like it could be popular. Whether it actually is popular might depend on the owner…
Normal
* Book: This novel looks really difficult. It’s the kind of book only a voracious reader would think to pick up.
* Notebook: It reads “My Journal” in tiny letters on the cover. It’s hard not to, but I probably shouldn’t peek inside.
* Bag 1: An adorable handcrafted bag with something hard and rectangular inside. Maybe it’s a book?
* Bag 2: A bag with a simple design. I can tell it was painstakingly made by hand.
Peppy
* Book: It’s a comic. There’s a girl with big, sparkling eyes on the cover. She’s probably the hero.
* Notebook: It’s an autograph book, but it’s covered with all kinds of sparkly stickers. It’s making my eyes hurt.
* Bag 1: A bag made from a soft printed fabric featuring cartoon characters. It’s all lumpy from being packed too full.
* Bag 2: A snappy bag covered with buttons and pins of different pop stars.
Sisterly
* Book: A book with pressed flowers inside. Oh! It still has the price sticker on it!
* Notebook: This looks like somebody’s notebook. The handwriting is mostly illegible, but I can make out the word “Band.”
* Bag 1: A stylish bag adorned with gold metal spikes. It’s got attitude!
* Bag 2: The front of the bag has embroidered lettering in gold thread. The words are … “Bikers Are More Fun.”
Snooty
* Book: It’s one of those love stories that are so popular nowadays. It has a subtle aroma too. Or is that my imagination?
* Notebook: I think it’s a personal planner. Every line is filled in with precise, perfect handwriting. Err … I should close this.
* Bag 1: Maybe this is somebody’s makeup bag? It smells like lovely perfume.
* Bag 2: A pretty bag that’s been well-loved. It looks like it’s been customized a number of times.
(For the most part, you can figure out who each lost item belongs to simply by investigating. However, there are one or two phrases that are absolutely unhelpful. The main phrase that can really grind your gears is “This is a lost item.” It doesn’t help at all, and you’ll have to know your villagers well in order to figure out who it belongs to.)
(Returning a lost item to the correct owner without showing it to another villager will get you a better overall reward. However, returning the item without the villager asking you to will give you additional friendship points)

[Fabric] ¿Por donde comienzo? OneLake intro

Mi Notebook Ultra review: Sleeper hit value laptop of 2021
The Mi Notebook Ultra starts at Rs 59,999. (Photo credit: Saurabh Singh/Financial Express) The Mi Notebook Ultra’s spec-sheet makes every other laptop around its price sound ridiculously more expensive. Period. Every decision that Xiaomi has taken with this year’s Mi Notebook series—technically this is the company’s second attempt at laptops in India—seems guided by feedback. There are two…

Mi Notebook Ultra review: Xiaomi energises the boring consumer PC segment
Tumblr media
I was planning to buy a midrange laptop and was amazed to see that every other legacy brand in the consumer PC market had products with similar features and specifications. Blame the oligopoly, but as a consumer I was almost convinced that the product offerings by the legacy PC makers were the best available in the market. And then was released the Mi Notebook Ultra by Chinese technology company Xiaomi.
A premium laptop, the Mi Notebook Ultra challenged the conventions set by legacy consumer PC makers by democratising features and specifications usually seen in laptops that cost almost twice as much as the top-end model (review unit – Rs 76,999) on offer here. Starting with the design, the Mi Notebook Ultra boasts a unibody made of series 6 aluminium alloy. For a laptop with 15.6-inch screen, the Mi Notebook Ultra is appropriately built but does not meticulously fit in the thin-and-light category. Speaking of build, the Mi Notebook Ultra is spot on. From smooth edges to a sturdy hinge, the laptop’s build quality is nothing short of premium. Read More
