smell is IMPORTANT. if you smell good, you appear more attractive (in my opinion) and the order you are washing yourself + applying smell goods matter also

first, bar soap. i recommend the dove sensitive skin bar soap, but people are like anti bacterial soaps also! wash your whole body with this before anything!

second, body scrub. i recommend only doing this twice a week max, maybe three. i really like the dove body scrubs (formerly body polishes) because they aren’t very grainy but still get the job done!

third, body wash. make sure the body wash you are using pairs with the body mist and perfume you are using later. i really like the native body washes and the dove body washes. DO NOT USE THIS ON YOUR PRIVATES!!!!

fourth, deodorant. only apply to clean skin, and make sure your armpits are completely dry before applying!

fifth, body lotion. just like the body wash, make sure your lotion pairs well with the scent of your body wash, body mist, and perfume, ALSO DO NOT APPLY THIS TO PRIVATES!!!!! apply to damp skin. this locks in moisture and makes your skin soft and hydrated. the eos body lotions smell so good and are very moisturizing!

sixth, body oil. oil should be applied after lotion, it locks in all of the moisture that the lotion is giving you. body oil makes a huge difference in your routine. once again, match this scent to any other scented products you are using. DO NOT APPLY THIS TO PRIVATES!!!!

seventh, body mist. apply directly after oil to ensure it stays (don’t be dumb, i shouldn’t have to tell you were to not apply it again) i like using anywhere from 5-7 sprays, but if it is strong smelling, maybe around 3-4!

eighth, perfume. this should always be the last step because it is what you want to smell most. it doesn’t need to be designer, as long as it smells good. the ariana grande perfumes are more on the cheaper side for perfumes, and the sabrina carpenter ones also smell very good and are the cheaper side of perfumes. apply this on the back of your neck, you want your scent trailing behind you, you want people to know it is you that is smelling so good. also apply it below the wrist, DO NOT RUB TOGETHER. your wrist touches everything, so do not apply to the wrist, it will wear off quickly. i like to add 1 spray to my chest but that is optional! i applied it like this and i could smell myself all day!

remember, if the laundry detergent you use doesn’t smell good, then neither do you!

here are some scent combos i recommend (only includes body mist and perfume, maybe some body wash and body scrub but i do not have the widest variety of those!)

I arrived at camp when I was 11 years old. When the Hunters visited camp at some point during Kiara's capture, I decided to join them after Marilene asked to see if they would be able to help her find Kiara. At some point with the help of some demigods from camp and some of the Hunters, including myself, we were able to find my sister and bring her back to camp.

I'm gonna spare you the details, but when I was 8 or so, I was living on the streets in Boston until a satyr found me and brought me to camp four years later.

While I was on the streets and in the shelters, I met Annabeth's cousin, Magnus!

Now, when I'm not with the Hunters, sometimes I'll visit Chase Space.

Aurelia is a 15 year old demigod daughter of Eos. She is from small town Mississippi and she came to camp closer to when she was 14, so pretty recently. She is currently dating Kiara Belvedere, as said above. She arrived at camp after an emposai attacked her. (Probably a satyr who brought her, but idk.)

She arrived at camp post the events of the Heroes of Olympus books and thus didn't fight in those same battles that Kiara did. (Once again, if there was one in toa I didn't read it yet.)

She dealt with/deals with a lot of internalized homophobia and stuff like that since she grew up in small town Mississippi.

But she never really extended it towards others. It always confused her why people would be upset about who someone loves or what their gender identity was or anything like that

But as soon as it was her who happened to be a kiss-girl (im so sorry i cannot take myself seriously), she hated herself for it. It was fine when anyone else was like that, but not her.

She ends up being able to accept herself more slowly after she and Kiara don't start dating quite yet, but are kinda talking? Do you call it that if you've been best friends for a while and already acting pretty gay around her? Idk. Seriously, Marilene (head counselor for the Selene cabin) was waiting for the longest time for them to just kiss.

This really reminds me of Once More to See You by Mitski because Kiara really just wanted to tell everyone and everything about how much she loved Aurelia, but Aurelia was still closeted at this point. Heavily used all the new catalogues. Harvey's room is modded (pissed I still can't change the flooring or wall to match the rest of the house but it looks better than it was).

I have the attic add on, cubby, south room, dining room. I have done NOTHING with the children's room bc I'm still contemplating having children in the game.

I might add some elixer bottles or tabletop plants to the long dining table but idk yet EDIT: You cannot put ANYTHING on top of that long table which is a shame. Add some more plants to the kitchen... (maybe a little row of coffee bean bushes along the bottom there? tea plants too?)

college is not what i expected it to be! because I am not what I expected I would be like! growing up, i looked up to this young man in a book my mom read to us. he was low class, orphaned, and responbile for his mom all while mainitng his stydies, placed top of class and became a lawyer who could cuff ya. perhaps i crushed on him a little too, but forreal, i wanted to be him! i always envsioned being the student who students feared! maybe even holding place as teachers pet, but like a teacher pet to a robert williams in dead poets society archetype.

well this semester, i literally have just been omg all over the place! it started when i started skipping class to do homework for said class. that shit seems productive yet in reality is an omen of poor time mange=agement, her and i, gurl we are besties. i need to get diagnosed with adhd! i swear my patronus is a goldfish, the way o forget what im doing in like 3 secs. its very concerining, or its a cute personaolity trait to add onto my ditz allegations! if you wanna be fucking for real, it stems from childhood trauma! total tmi, but we are all honest here :D

i also struggle with procrastiona bc i have hisotrically proven to myseklf that i am capable of complerteing my assignemtns with a good grade night of! i can take more, thats my mantra. put me in a group socual situatuin however, more is asking too muc, i can offer a the first 3 digits of the pie but thats all youre getting from me.

The Merchant Mod

The instructions

This is basically a 2.0 version of the Savvier Seller mod. Because the original Savvier Seller mod used the EA code combined with my edits the code was a horrible mess that I didn’t want to touch any more.

I was also in awe by the Sim State Mod at MTS that I basically wanted to combine the way they sold items via my mod’s basic concept. So, I ditched the idea of updating the SS mod and I started this mod from scratch.

The biggest difference is that you no longer need custom shelves to sell you products.

You also don’t need the EA’s original Savy Seller store item.

But you do need UNI – because the restocking animations are taken from there.

So, before we go any further let’s just say a big thanks for the creators of the Sim State Mod. Without that mod it would never have crossed my mind that we could sell items without a custom shelve. The idea of how to set items for sale is completely stolen from them.

What’s different compared to the Savvier Seller Mod

Merchant Mode

The biggest difference is how items are set on sale. Instead of having specific shelves I use the same method that the Sim State OFB – mod uses. You click on the register and select Merchant Mode from settings. This will turn all items on the lot yellow and you can then select which ones you want to put on sale. Remember to exit Merchant Mode when done.

Please note that I didn’t implement any of the other fantastic things of running a shop that the Sim State Mod does. Only this.

Customers and Employees

The customer and the employee tending the register are no longer in a “pose”. Basically they are “free”. The register will check every 15 minutes is the employee tending and if not they will be called back to work.

The employee will restock items related to his store, but if there is nothing to restock, he will just stand behind the register. No more roaming the lot and making silly animations.

The customers are free to do what ever after buying – even going home. When the employee is tending the register they will call a customer to pay.

Because sims are idiots I decided not to be very strict about a customer having to be in the right spot to pay. When a customer wants to pay he will try to walk to the right spot, but if there is some idiot sim standing there (and trust me there usually is) the will walk as close as he can and then pay for his purchases.

I used some animations from TSM for paying for the purchases. Because kids don’t have these animations kids will just walk to the register and then pay without animating.

When a sim buys an item they will get a New Stuff -moodlet. Inactive sims can buy autonomously but they can’t buy while having this moodlet. This way one customer doesn’t buy every item in the store in the first 10 minutes of it being open.

The Register Inventory

The joys of TS3 coding is that every single object type has it’s own code for it to be created. With buy mode objects this is easy. You call one line of code and you are done.

But the moment you have a book or elixer or a tomato that you want to restock from “buy mode” aka – you don’t want to grow every tomato you sell or have multiple copies of a book in the store’s inventory you want to sell, you run into trouble. Because first the code needs to identify what type of object it is, and then call it’s specific code for creating the object and most of objects have lots of data to fill for them to be created right.

Because I didn’t want to tangle this mess like I did with the SS-mod but wanted to keep the mod simple I came up with a roundabout.

There are two ways to use the register’s inventory.

The normal way is that you add your tomatoes into the register’s inventory and the mod uses those items to restock bought products. When you run out of tomatoes in the inventory, you can’t restock any more.

The clone way is that you only need one tomato in your register inventory. If the Clone option is turned on when restocking, the code makes a clone of the tomato in the inventory and restocks using the clone. This way you can sell ingredients/books/elixer without having to have multiple copies in the inventory or a huge messy code behind the scenes.

Just note that you can turn this setting on/off per register. So you can have one shop that sells grown tomatoes and one that sells cloned tomatoes but you cannot have both in the same register at the same time.

Another thing to note. It seems that not all items can be cloned. So far I’ve found out that nectar is one of them. Maybe in a future version I can fix this but for now you’ll have to make all the nectar manually that you want to sell. Most likely there are other things too that are clone resistant. But with most items this seems to work. If you find an item you cannot clone I’d like to know.

Other things to note

If you want to run the shop manually you don’t need to hire an employee. You can tend the register when you have customers waiting and do what ever you want when nobody needs you. But if you want to buy from a shop that is run by another family you need to hire an employee. I usually run shops manually when I’m playing the owner household and set he owner as the employee when I’m playing other families.

More things to note

When you enter your game where you are using this mod, it takes 2 sim ingame minutes after the save is loaded for the code to setup the shop to be run. So if you have items on sale, the buy interaction will show after this code is run.

On Food

To put food on sale you need to click the plate/bowl – not the food itself. Otherwise your food will have no price.

When putting food on sale you need to run the Un Spoil -interaction from the register. This will remove the spoil trigger from food inside the inventory and from those that are already on sale on the lot. The Un Spoil Command is run when the game starts and after each restocking, but when handling new food it has to be done manually.

The price of the food depends on the quality of the food + number of serving

Conflict

If you have a mod that adds an extra interaction to an EA object, the modded interactions will be removed when toggling to merchant mode. For example my Cup Of Tea mod. The tea kettle is fine because it's a custom object where the interactions are added when creating the object. But the coffee machine will no longer have the modded interactions that I attach to the coffee machine after the game is loaded. This affects of course only objects on lots with the merchant register.

All objects are fine after you restart your game. This happens because I remove all interactions from objects before adding the Set To Sale / Remove From Sale / Buy Item interactions. When the object is bought or removed from sale I reset it's interactions but of course the object is then reset to it's EA default state.

I do have one idea how to fix this, but it might of course break everything so I'd rather release version 1 of this mod with this "feature" and make sure everything else is working and then try this idea for version 2.

Setting up a shop

Buy a Merchant register from Electronics → Misc for 250§

Under menu → Settings → Shop Set Up you will find the following options. Most of them are self explanatory so I won’t go into detail about them.

Set Register Name

Turn On/Off Change to Work Outfit

Turn On/Off Pay Employee From Owner’s Money

If turned on the wage of the employee is taken from the owner’s family funds

Set Pay Per Hour

How much to pay the employee / hour

Set Price Multiplier

How much will the base price of the item be changed when a sim buys it.

Turn On Clone From Inventory / Turn On Restock From Inventory

Do you want to use the store’s inventory as a template for cloning items when restocking or do you want to use up the items in the inventory when restocking.

Clear Customer List

The Register keeps a list of customers that need to pay so it can then call them one by one. If for some reason you have an “invalid” customer and nobody is being called you might need to clear your customer list. For example the customer is a homeless sim who has left the world before paying or the sim died or something.

It should be very rare that you need to do this. I for example did have a homeless sim buy something and then leave the world but in all my testing this only happened one time.

Under Settings you have options you might need more frequently

Open / Close Shop

When the shop is open the employee will tend the register and customers will buy items according to the opening and closing hours of the shop. If you want to have a break from running the shop you can close the shop for a day.

- Sometimes when your active sim pays for the products the paying animations are not run. This is because the merchant and customer are not syncing. So your sim will pay just won’t do the animations.

Honestly, yeah, I agree with you. I don't think it's wrong for anyone to think that both sides (the creators and the community itself) have their faults lol. Every party played a role in allowing the CC community to become like this, and I'm just happy that everyone's slowly realizing how problematic it has become.
