he may be 21 years old and technically a legal adult, but he is childish as hell.

there’s no extensive familial back story for him. he grew up fairly privileged in a upper-middle class household with very loving parents and two little sisters who he’s decently protective of — not that he’s a great example to them or anything.

he’s your run of the mill frat boy who’s home for the summer from college and honestly just wants to have fun. maybe cause a little bit of havoc, who knows??

probably flirts with any girl he comes across too, so watch out ladies !!

just like think of a stereotypical frat boy & u get dominick tbh

he’s your wake and bake type of guy and functions way better while he’s high. he’ll also definitely let you smoke him out because he’s kind and enjoys the company.

he’s lowkey kinda a sad boy, hence why he smokes. it gets him out of his dark thoughts and makes him function better.

most of his jokes are weed-based and he will most likely point out when it’s 4:20 and chuckle a little bit at the fact

he does not take anything seriously and if he had it his way, he would have probably stayed undeclared as his “major” for as long as possible. he’s extremely lazy and would rather spend most of his time playing video games. 

side note: he is 100% that guy who constantly talks about fortnite

this is also why he works as an arcade attendant at monty because it’s probably the only job there that will keep his attention for the longest. and he’s worked there every summer since his senior year of high school (aka 4 years).

EDIT: how could i forget to add this in?? but he definitely leaves work to smoke in some secret place in the park that he discovered a while back. hasn’t gotten caught yet, but honestly probably will soon.

this is basically all i have on him & i’m planning on developing him more as i go. also, i’m trash and haven’t made any wc’s for him, so hmu with whatever ur feeling!! i promise u that dom is down for absolutely anything.

hello everyone  !!  i’m jessie  &  i’m very excited for this.

so this is my sweet bb rosalie, but she definitely likes to go by rosie. she’s had a very rough childhood, her parents had split when she was quite young, so she doesn’t remember much of it, but she does remember moving from home to home a lot.

she’s more so close with her dad than she is with her mom, her mom was just a little bit too overprotective over her, whereas her dad was just a little bit more open to some of things that rosie wanted to do.

due to her mom’s overprotective behavior, she kinda tended to rebel against her a lot in her teenage years.

rosie is bisexual, she had realized it when she was fourteen. she first came out to her dad about it and though he was confused, he definitely was more than willing to understand and was quite supportive over her. she hadn’t planned to tell her mom, but it had slipped out one day and her mom had told her that is was just a phase and that she’d come to her senses soon. after that, rosie hadn’t talked about her sexuality to her mom ever again.

rosie is a lover of all things art. she appreciates the beauty in everything around her.

she’s a painter  &  a drawer, picked it up when she was about seven and she hasn’t really stopped since. you can honestly find her painting, drawing, doodling little sketches on her free days. so needless to say, she’s happy with her job at monty parks. does she wish she could do more with her skill  ??  oh absolutely, but you’ve gotta start somewhere  &  she’s just happy she’s at least being able to paint, even if it’s on little kids  &  sometimes adults faces.

rosie is very old school, loves feel good classic music. if you looked on her phone, you’d see a playlist called ‘feel good music’ with songs such as ‘sweet caroline’, ‘come on eileen’, ‘you make my dreams’, etc.

Born on August 5th, 1996 in Los Angeles, California, Scarlett Isabelle Hernandez was brought into the world by two politically-minded parents. Her father was a Senator, and her mother served as Assistant District Attorney. Even from birth, Scarlett’s parents had high expectations for their second child

She has one sibling, a brother, who is older and the standard fuck-up of the family. He parties, chases girls (and boys) and spends his trust fund on backpacking trips through Croatia rather and has no career to speak of-basically, he failed each and every expectation his parents had for him. Perhaps on purpose, perhaps not. Scarlett and her brother and not close, and so she’s left to ponder this. 

In response to the tense situation concerning her brother, Scarlett became the perfect daughter. Debate club and student government. An impressive career as a field hockey player on her school’s varsity team. Everything that her parents asked of her, and more.

Her parents place pressure on her, expecting her to be the best, and thus, be absolutely ruthless, willing to step on anyone to get ahead, but at the same time maintaining connections that will aid her in her future endeavors. This led to her having few friends, but she was so busy with her extracurriculars and maintaining a 4.0 GPA, she never noticed. 

Her life was seemingly perfect, if not a bit stressful, when her father ripped the world apart by abandoning the family during her junior year of high school. it turned out, he was having an affair with an intern. How cliche. Everyone in L.A. immediately seemed to know all the details, and her mother crumbled under the pressure. Suddenly, Scarlett was faced with maintaining the family’s good name and also ensuring her mother ate and got to work on time. 

Still, all of that determination still flowed through her, and she managed to gain an acceptance to Stanford University, her dream school. As class valedictorian of her small private school, no one was entirely surprised, but she had few people to celebrate with, and spent her graduation night watching movies with her mother. 

Life at Stanford was far from easy. She found difficulty in navigating such a big school and the party scene there. She struggled socially and constantly felt out of place, like an outsider even in her own dorm room. 

Eventually, the pressure built so much that she had a major depressive episode in the summer before her junior year of college. She had to drop out of her prestigious internship at the Mayor’s office and return home, spending days on the couch and watching T.V. For the first time in her life, she couldn’t do anything productive. 

Hence her reasoning for deciding to work at an amusement park for the summer. She decided she needed a break from the politics and stress that had led her to spiral, and her therapist agreed, and was the one to tell her about Monty Parks. It hurt that her mother so easily accepted it, for before her father abandoned the family she would’ve certainly never allowed it. Though it was nice to finally feel as if she was in control of her own life.

As for her personality, she’s known for acting quite prissy at times, and given her background, this isn’t much of a surprise. She can be rather intense at times, her plans and ideas taking control and making her willing to step on people’s toes in order to out them into motion. 

Still, there is something to Scarlett that tends to draw people in, if only temporarily, though she hesitates to allow herself to be vulnerable around others. In the wake of her depressive episode, she follows her heart more, and is willing to take risks and enjoy herself with various escapades of debauchery or accepting dares from her peers.

she  cut  off  all  contact  once  she  turned  18    ,    but  her  mom  finds  her  way  around  the  law  and  will  often  seek  her  out  in  order  to    “    make amends    ”

was  diagnosed  with  borderline  personality  disorder    (    i  have  it  as  well  so  if  u  have  questions  u  can  ask    !!    i  wont  b  mad    )    and  type  i  bipolar  disorder  at  18  due  to  trauma    ;    very  secretive  about  it

graduated  from  stanford  with  a  3.6  gpa  and  a  degree  in  political  science  and  music  theory

now  lives  alone  in  a  tidy  studio  apt  near  monty    ,    also  working  online  as  a  political  journalist  for  the  local  paper

⟡   Lucas loves to tease. He can be super annoying at situations, and often finds himself in trouble because of this trait of his.

⟡  He LOVES poetry. If he wouldn’t have any friends he would probably okay by just staying in his room smoking weed and reading poems. Artists smh.. 

⟡  He also has a weak spot for cats. He doesn’t own one yet, but he is planning to get one when the situation is right.

⟡  Even though he is super social, he can come out as really indifferent sometimes. He tends to sometimes focus only on himself and his things. He can be kinda an asshole and tends to hurt peoples feelings easily.

⟡  He smokes so much that i’m surprised he’s not dead yet. Like it’s seriously a problem. The habit was carried by him in his childhood, when his dad was a really heavy alcohol and cigarette user.

⟡  Lucas is really passionate about art. He loves sketching and painting. He actually went to a university to study illustration but dropped out after a week because studying isn’t really his thing.

⟡ To be honest while he is happy about his job, he doesn’t really enjoy it. It was just the only job he was able to get, and now he’s trying his best to start and learn to like it.

⟡  He comes up with crazy ideas and isn’t afraid to act on them. This can often lead to stupid things though so all beware. You literally can’t tell if he’s kidding or not if he says that he’s going to get a cat tattooed on his forehead.

⟡  When it comes to relationships, this boy may seem like he’s just playing. Usually, it’s just because he sucks at reading people and often misinterprets what people think of him

a california girl through and through, she’s earned a permanent tan & if you ever lose her, chances are she’s sneaking shots on the beach 

daisy’s passionate about literature, art, music, etc. the problem is that she has difficulty focusing, always flittering from one idea to the next, which meant high school was more about fooling around than actually accomplishing anything 

raised with her grandfather after her parents passed, she also became increasingly worried about his health as it came closer to graduation. she never bothered applying to proper universities, though she had been offered an internship for rolling stone in new york

she ignored it, pretended like it never happened, and kept the good times rolling in anaheim 

she’s worked at monty parks during the summers since she was sixteen, gaining a permanent position as a lifeguard two years ago --- she’s a natural swimmer, but mostly she likes lounging around in a bikini

her grandfather passed away last summer, and she hasn’t really talked about it at all. essentially without a family, she’s thrown herself into solely having a good time and ignoring the worries going through her head 

again the magazine contacted her, prompting an offer of a real, paying positions at their offices and this time, she couldn’t think of a reason not to go. she accepted, and she plans to leave at the end of the summer

so she’s going all out this summer, causing a ruckus, making the best memories. daisy’s basically a sunshine ass girl with a slight knack for trouble but a big ol’ heart

REUBEN KAVANAGH must have gotten to the speaker before. they’re the TWENTY THREE year old that is a WATER RIDE ATTENDANT at monty parks. known for being EBULLIENT & EFFUSIVE with a tendency to be a little IMPETUOUS & FACETIOUS, we get why they’re called the FRIVOLOUS

reuben grew up as an only child and he had a pretty good upbringing 

he was always closer to his mom than his dad, his dad was a bit of a workaholic so he didn’t spend much time with him

when he was 13 his parents got a divorce which hit him hard -- although he didn’t spend much time with his dad it still felt weird to accept that he wouldn’t be in his daily life anymore

he lived with his mom, his dad moved out -- and he only really saw his dad once a year which caused a lot of resentment towards the man

he helped his mom out as much as he could -- he started working at the park as soon as he possibly legally could

he now lives on his own and his mom is remarried !! reuben thinks the new man in her life is GREAT for her and is super happy for her !! ( maybe some step-siblings could be cool ? )

his dream in life obviously isn’t to work in the park foreveR -- he would love to be a journalist one day but just hasn’t reached out to try and make that dream happen

his personality is pretty sociable and bubbly -- he loves talking to new people and exploring things

he's super impulsive & LOVES a good time .. definitely a wild child

but he’s just overall a big lovable goofball .. he wouldn't hurt a fly ( unless someone upset someone he cares about .. then he’ll turn into a WHOLE other person )

OKAY so max has a much darker past than reuben ( i couldn’t have TWO happy characters now could i !?! )

he grew up in a poorer household -- his parents lived together but weren’t together -- they’d often bring other people home which would cause all sorts of drama

he has 3 siblings who he was very protective over being the eldest

his parents both had addictions and so a lot of his life growing up involved looking after his siblings AND them when things went wrong

his mom passed away when he was sixteen due to an overdose, leaving him with even more responsibility 

he never got on well with his dad; the man was very emotionally abusive

maxen discovered he was gay when he was around fifteen/sixteen but knew it wasn’t the right time to come out -- he couldn’t risk leaving his younger siblings with his dad alone if things went wrong 

however he didn’t have to worry about that for long as social services ended up finding out about the state of his family when max was 18 -- his siblings were taken into care and max was left alone

he came out to his dad, and after a very violent altercation he moved out to a friends house while he sorted himself out

he now lives with some roommates and is living his best life ! ( ish )

he’s happy enough working at the park; his education was heavily impacted by his upbringing so he’s never tried to go to college or anything like that

he’d like to be a tattoo artist or something of the sort but he’s in no rush -- he’s just happy to have the money and a comfortable life 

personality wise he can be quite cold and withdrawn; but he’s not mean ; he’s just very private and doesn’t trust easily

he is a nice guy though and clearly cares a lot about those few people he lets close to him

he is a big hot head though and can get himself in trouble easily due to his lack of a filter

emerald is 25 and flies by the seat of her pants -- well when she is wearing them. she has gone through massage therapist school and is currently trying to get her license. she just loathes state tests and hasn’t figured out a way to receive it without going through the logistics of it all. which is why she is currently working at monty. emerald, is without a doubt the type to work to live not live to work. she believes people should be testing the world -- not your stress levels. she is a simple person. emerald wants to make her art and live her life. after that, there is not much more to talk about.
