The video opens with the click of a camera turning on, followed by a small laugh.
“Hi, Vogue,” Y/N greets warmly, brushing a few strands of hair behind her ear. Her skin is fresh, makeup-free, her voice still a bit husky from sleep. “I’m Y/N Verstappen and I’ve been asked to share my daily beauty routine… which honestly feels like a joke considering I’ve been up since 5 a.m. because my daughter thinks that’s an acceptable wake-up time.”
She shrugs playfully, leaning on the white marble bathroom counter. Behind her, viewers get a glimpse of their Amsterdam apartment, clean lines, cozy lighting, a plant in every corner.
“So let’s get into it,” she smiles. “I already cleansed off-camera because, well, my toddler smeared porridge on my face earlier and that wasn’t very Vogue.”
She lifts a bottle toward the camera. “This is what I used, super gentle, because hormones after breastfeeding are no joke. I used this religiously when Isa was still newborn and I felt like a walking zombie with acne.”
Just then, there’s a tiny knock on the bathroom door. Y/N pauses.
“Mama?” A small voice calls.
She bites back a smile. “Come in, schatje.”
Isa waddles into the room in her little bunny-print pajamas, hair a curly mess, one sock missing, holding her plush lion by the tail. Her eyes are wide with sleepy curiosity as she pads in and immediately reaches her arms up.
Y/N lifts her easily, balancing the toddler on one hip.
“This is Isa,” she chuckles. “My shadow. She doesn’t believe in personal space. Or sleep-ins.”
Isa rests her head against Y/N’s shoulder and waves lazily at the camera, mumbling, “Hi Vogue.”
“I’m gonna keep going while she hangs out,” Y/N explains. “Mom life doesn’t pause for skincare, right?”
She manages to tone with one hand, dotting serum on her cheeks while Isa fiddles with the collar of her robe.
And then, “Lieverd?” Max’s voice comes from somewhere off-camera. “Have you seen her other sock? She left it in the pantry again, I think.”
Y/N rolls her eyes fondly. “Check under the cereal boxes.”
There’s a pause.
“Got it.”
Max enters a moment later, barefoot in sweatpants and one of Y/N’s oversized hoodies, holding the missing sock like it’s a trophy.
“Victory,” he smirks, and steps into view to slide it onto Isa’s tiny foot as she babbles softly.
“Oh, and if I didn’t mention it... I’m married to that guy,” Y/N gestures at him, “who sometimes borrows my hoodies and always makes me tea while I do this.”
As if on cue, Max returns moments later with a steaming mug and a kiss to her temple. He doesn’t say anything else, just gives her a little smile and nods toward the camera like you’ve got this before disappearing again.
Y/N smiles after him.
“Okay, so next, I use this moisturizer. I keep it in the fridge because Max likes our house at ‘race car garage’ levels of cold and my skin can’t cope.”
She taps product on her face gently, still bouncing Isa in her arms.
“Lip balm,” she adds, reaching across the counter. “I don’t go anywhere without it. This one smells like mango. Isa always tries to eat it.”
“Mine,” Isa declares sleepily, snatching it from Y/N’s hand.
Y/N laughs. “Told you.”
There’s another interruption, this time the sound of a crash followed by Max’s startled “Alles goed?!” from the other room.
Y/N blinks at the camera, totally unbothered. “That’s our cat knocking over Max’s trophies again. She has a personal vendetta against the Monaco one.”
She finishes her makeup: light concealer, brow gel, tinted lip balm, all with Isa still perched on her hip.
“Oh, and when I do go to races, I do a bit more. Blush, mascara, maybe eyeliner if Isa hasn’t decided my makeup brush is her new toy.”
From the mirror, you can see Max re-entering, now carrying their cat under one arm and waving a toy toothbrush in the other.
“Does this belong to the tiny dictator?”
Isa perks up. “MINE!”
Max hands it over solemnly. “I thought so.”
He leans against the counter again, watching as Y/N wraps up her routine.
“You look beautiful,” he murmurs under his breath.
Y/N smiles at the compliment but turns it into a tease. “Even without the mascara?”
Max grins. “Always.”
The camera catches Isa reaching over to swipe her fingers in the blush compact and smear it across Y/N’s cheek. Y/N gasps in mock horror while Max bursts into a quiet laugh.
“Raw and unfiltered,” Y/N tells the camera, dabbing at her cheek. “Exactly what Vogue asked for, right?”
She sets Isa down gently, and the little girl waddles over to Max, nestling herself into his arms like a koala.
“I don’t get a lot of ‘me’ time,” Y/N admits, tucking her hair behind her ears. “But I wouldn’t trade this life for anything. It’s messy. Loud. Exhausting. But also, really, really full of love.”
Max leans into the frame for a moment, his voice soft. “That’s because you’re the heart of it.”
Y/N blushes, swats him away gently, and turns back to the camera.
“Thank you for watching this chaos. And Vogue? If you ever want a dad edition of this, Max has a killer 7-step beard care routine he refuses to admit to.”
Max, now offscreen, calls out, “That’s classified information.”
Y/N grins. “Bye, Vogue.”
She reaches to turn off the camera just as Isa squeals from the other room: “DAAAADDY! Cat stole my toast!”
Fade to black.

my updated dolly morning routine⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🌟💞
OVERVIEW ; having my morning drink and vitamins -> oral hygiene routine -> pilates regimen -> morning beauty regimen -> breakfast and start my day...💬🎀
FIRST AND FOREMOST ;
first thing i do in the morning before i even reach for my phone, when my subconscious is like a SPONGE is repeat my morning mantra to myself. im a law of assumption girlie so i always start my days telling myself how im in control, how im the best to ever do it etc. i fix my bed and just think to myself about how today is going to be the most fabulous day ever, how i have everything i want etc.
❤︎ wearing robes in the morning just make me feel SO much more glamorous and they're literally a part of my routine. i wear my silky victorias secret robe everyday, but if its a little cold i'll wear my fluffy pink one.
MORNING DRINK LINE UP ;
in the morning i like to have a drink thats good for my body. usually i pick between a few drink options but the ones i almost always drink are green tea with a lemon wedge, a ginger shot, some okra water or some chia seed water. sometimes i'll have two or just one. i'll also take my vitamins and supplements.
the supplements i take are iron (cuz im a low iron baddie), my hair skin and nail vitamins and a multivitamin gummy or capsule. thats just about it, i try not to overdo it with things like this especially if i dont need it...💬🎀
HOW TO MAKE A GINGER SHOT ;
so i own a juicer but assembling it and disassembling it is soo tedious and i'd rather just use my blender so im going to be talking about how i make ginger shots using a blender. all ur going to need are the following...
🌟 a few pieces of ginger (i usually just use one or two small pieces)
🌟 some water
🌟 cayenne powder if u want an extra kick (optional)
🌟 some lemon
🌟 strainer
and all u have to do is lightly peel ur pieces of ginger, dont worry about getting all the skin off but just get as much as u can off. put it into ur blender with some water and squeeze half a lemon into it before blending. next ur going to take ur strainer and separate the pulp from the juice and ur all done!
ORAL HYGEINE ROUTINE ;
so my oral hygiene routine is super basic, i just brush my teeth, tongue scrape and use my mouthwash. but i never ever want to miss it because one, its really good for my mental health. like when im having bad mental health days brushing my teeth is the first thing i always do.
second of all, during this time i like to "pre-game" for my day. so i'll affirm in my head and tell myself good things like "todays going to be such a perfect day, cuz im so perfect duh" or just talk to myself about self concept. if i dont do that i listen to 2010's pop music and its just the perfect way to start my day cuz it fills me with so much dopamine and i'll dance a little bit and its just made my happiness as a whole sky-rocket. PLEASE try this guys and get back to me. i listen to the following songs...

♡ party in the USA - miley cyrus
♡ 24K magic - bruno mars (any bruno mars song for that matter his songs are literally a potion)
♡ classic - MKTO
♡ heart shaker - twice
AND songs like that in general, whatever songs make you feel happy or give u a rush of excitement and nostalgia, start ur days with them and watch how happy you feel...💬🎀
MOVEMENT ;
doing my workout regimen in the morning is something that i've always done. i find that it sets the tone for my day and gives me so much energy, plus later on in the day im just not in the MOOD to workout... and i dont ever force myself to do something i rly dont wanna do, so doing it in the morning is just better for me. my everyday workout routine always includes some cardio, i love pilates but i also incorporate weight training with my workouts.
if im like, REALLY not in the mood for a workout or if im menstruating and cant rly give my all, i'll still incorporate movement by going on a walk. to get some fresh air and enjoy my mornings some more yk?
DOLL UP FOR THE DAY ;
then of course i'll doll up for the day. take a shower, brush my hair, do my makeup etc etc. all in my V.S. robe for the glamorous vibe. im super detail oriented and intricate when it comes to my appearance, maybe its somewhat vain but whatever. i take my time and get myself ready with INTENTION. i always tell myself how pretty i am and i truly think it makes a difference.

an angels guide: my ideal summer morning routine ˚ʚɞ。⋆
hi angels! it’s finally starting to feel like summer, my exams are almost done and the suns shining practically everyday. summer is the perfect time of year to work on yourself, the days are longer, it’s easier to be outside and everything feels so much brighter and more optimistic. with that in mind here is my ideal summer routine! for me this is perfect when i have the time and energy - not every day looks like this but i try and incorporate aspects of this routine as much as possible when time doesn’t permit me to do the entire thing. hopefully it gives you some inspiration and guidance for your own routine!


wake up and open the curtains and my windows. let as much natural light in and feel the warmth of the day on my skin.
drink a glass of water as i sit and look outside, do some deep breathing and feel the possibilities in this new day.
do five to ten minutes of yoga and stretching (id be happy to do a list of my favourite youtubers/routines!).
do ten minutes of gentle pilates, just to help me feel more awake and ready for the day. getting my body moving first thing helps me feel so alive.
make my bed and tidy anything in my room that’s messy or needs sorting. dress in something cute and summery that helps me feel prepared for the day ahead. i love to wear jewellery or little accessories even when i dont have much planned just to remind myself that every day is special.
brush my teeth and gently wash my face with some cool water to help depuff it and wake me up.
pick my book of the day - especially in the summer when i have more time for pleasure reading i like to read a book a day!
make a delicious summer breakfast. my favourites tend to be a yogurt bowl with fruits, coconut and almond flakes and puffed oats, chia seed pudding/overnight oats or a beautiful smoothie bowl. i aim for at least five different fruits/veggies in summer, i want my breakfasts to be as varied and colourful as possible while being wonderfully nutritious! if possible i eat my meals outside in the summer especially first thing.
fill up my water bottle and make a cup of herbal tea. i always drink tea after eating to help me digest and for all the other benefits. my favourites in the summer tend to be either a green tea, a raspberry hibiscus and strawberry tea (my current fave) or a peach tea!
clean teeth again, mouthwash and use my water flosser to help my mouth feel as clean as possible.
do skincare and bodycare. i use a thick lotion on my body twice a day, wait a little then spray perfume as well as applying suncream on my face always and on my body depending on the UV/my activities for the day.
spend fifteen or twenty minutes journalling and using my hands to write down my feelings, mood or any other journal prompt.
read a little of my book, try and be as thoughtful as possible and really absorb the meaning. treasure what a gift literature is.
go on a little walk! i like to aim for twenty minutes, just something short and brief but allows me to spend some time outside and really moving my body.
do something with my hands. bake something, write something, craft something, anything that requires me to focus and engage in a hobby. im always in the process of creating something and im guilty of having hundreds of half finished projects - hoping to finish some this summer!
prepare and plan for the day ahead. write my to do list, organise things with friends or for myself and get ready to enjoy the rest of my day having spent a delightful summer morning caring for my body and soul.

10 step sunday reset routine
as someone who struggles with depression, cleaning my room and getting my life together is a struggle.
having a reset routine can help bring me out of a funk and lift my spirts a little.
i'll be completely honest i have a pretty bad depression room going, and my depression has taken over my life these past few months. so even though this is my sunday reset routine, i haven't done it in a while. but i've had enough. i'm determined to dig myself out of the hole i put myself in. and the first step for me is doing my sunday reset routine.
music, stretch, and workout
i am resetting my whole routine, and the first thing i prioritize is my physical health. when i'm in deep into my depressive cycle, i don't prioritize my physical health at all. in fact, i find that my physical & mental health overlap a ton. so in order to properly reset and get off on the right foot, i need to move my body in a positive way.
2. wash bedsheets
bed rotting is my favorite activity during my depression. so, it's a must to clean my sheets and make my depressive rat's nest into a cute bedspread again.
3. put away dirty and clean clothes
i always make piles of dirty and clean clothes when i start to get back into bad habits again. it always starts with cleaning my clothes but not folding/putting them away. this is usually a majority of what's on my floor in the first place, so this frees up a lot of space and immediately makes the room look 50% better. my favorite thing to motivate me to do this (& make it more fun) is putting on a mindless tv show in the background (i always watch greys anatomy).
4. clean & get rid of dirty dishes
i usually stack up some cups and bowls during this time. so now is a good time to start getting rid of these items and bring them down to the kitchen. i unfortunately dont have access to a dishwasher, so i need to handwash all of my dishes, but this would definitely go by faster with one!
5. wash dirty clothes
by this point my bedsheets have most likely finished in the wash and i've sorted through all the clothes on my floor, so now it's time to finally get the giant pile of dirty clothes tackled. as a uni student living in the dorms (don't worry, i have a private room), scent beads are my favorite go-to to feel comfy and more at home when i wear my clothes.
6. pick up and take out trash
my trash and recycling has definitely piled up at this point (in my room and in their respective cans). i'm also halfway through my routine and i most definitely need some fresh air for a minute. this step may be inconvenient (especially as a uni student who has to lug their trash cans to their uni dumpsters somewhere on campus) but its also a good way to get some vitamin d (and add to my daily steps!).
7. clean & tidy surfaces
i dont know how it happens but there is always some mystery gunk on my desk (usually from my makeup), so all my surfaces need a serious wipedown. i also find this the most satisfying part!
8. vacuum/sweep (my least favorite...)
i may not always do this step, mostly because i absolutely loathe vacuuming, but after this recent depressive episode, my floors need a good vacuum. so unfortunately, i must do what needs to be done...
9. make my bed and put away clean clothes
the finishing touches. i'm tired at this point, and this is where i usually call it quits and tell myself that i will fold and put away my clothes later. but i have to call myself on my bullshit0; i will not fold and put it away later. i have to do it now. a useful tip is imagining your crush (or just a hot celebrity) is coming over. now i want my room to be perfect for them!
10. light a candle and pat yourself on the back
this is a safe space and you deserve to be proud of yourself! even if you only did one thing in this routine... because that's one more thing than you did yesterday <3

Procrastinating getting out of bed because that means I have to move a million books to the car somehow which means I have to tape together boxes in which to transport said books and then I have to drive to the used book store and carry all the boxes from my car into the store and that’s probably gonna be multiple trips and then I still have to take back the books they won’t buy and donate them.
