things i did this week instead of rotting in bed ⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪
Tumblr media Tumblr media
⭐️ i'm back to therapy!! it’s been a year since i quit, but now i’m returning to self-discovery and healing with the help of a professional. and not just any professional because my therapist is a literal criminal psychoanalyst (yes, really). now she just sees us regular chaotic babes. she was also my psychologist during my first time in a psych ward… so yeah, we got history between us. she f★cking rocks and i’m honestly blessed to have her guiding me again <3
⭐️ i organized my bedroom!! we always see so many clean and organized girls here, so if you’re an extremely messy girl irl like me… hi! i see you. we exist. we are valid. i recently changed my meds and it definitely showed, my room was messier than ever. my therapist always told me “your room reflects your brain” and i kinda took that literally lol. but today it’s clean and so is a little part of my mind. progress is progress <3
⭐️ did i already told y’all i started an in-person audiovisual course? it’s every wednesday noon. ik it’s not the best time due to ai-pocalypse, but i’m OBSESSED with it. like, can someone tell me how i ever lived without this??? the cameras, the creative flow, the feeling of bringing something to life from scratch is everything i live for. every class is unlocking a new part of my brain and it’s making me fall in love with learning again <3
⭐️ i’m organizing Betto the betta fish’s home. unfortunately Filipino passed away. i still miss him a lot… but i’m making the aquarium feel cozy again with a new quiet roommate and more plants and hiding spots
⭐️ i dyed my hair dark ginger (☆▽☆) i’m that type of girl who needs to changer her hair to stay mentally stable yk??? just got like +200 self-esteem points instantly. it’s dark ginger forever until the next crisis. then i’ll be back to black lol

an angels guide: my ideal summer morning routine ˚ʚɞ。⋆
hi angels! it’s finally starting to feel like summer, my exams are almost done and the suns shining practically everyday. summer is the perfect time of year to work on yourself, the days are longer, it’s easier to be outside and everything feels so much brighter and more optimistic. with that in mind here is my ideal summer routine! for me this is perfect when i have the time and energy - not every day looks like this but i try and incorporate aspects of this routine as much as possible when time doesn’t permit me to do the entire thing. hopefully it gives you some inspiration and guidance for your own routine!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
wake up and open the curtains and my windows. let as much natural light in and feel the warmth of the day on my skin.
drink a glass of water as i sit and look outside, do some deep breathing and feel the possibilities in this new day.
do five to ten minutes of yoga and stretching (id be happy to do a list of my favourite youtubers/routines!).
do ten minutes of gentle pilates, just to help me feel more awake and ready for the day. getting my body moving first thing helps me feel so alive.
make my bed and tidy anything in my room that’s messy or needs sorting. dress in something cute and summery that helps me feel prepared for the day ahead. i love to wear jewellery or little accessories even when i dont have much planned just to remind myself that every day is special.
brush my teeth and gently wash my face with some cool water to help depuff it and wake me up.
pick my book of the day - especially in the summer when i have more time for pleasure reading i like to read a book a day!
make a delicious summer breakfast. my favourites tend to be a yogurt bowl with fruits, coconut and almond flakes and puffed oats, chia seed pudding/overnight oats or a beautiful smoothie bowl. i aim for at least five different fruits/veggies in summer, i want my breakfasts to be as varied and colourful as possible while being wonderfully nutritious! if possible i eat my meals outside in the summer especially first thing.
fill up my water bottle and make a cup of herbal tea. i always drink tea after eating to help me digest and for all the other benefits. my favourites in the summer tend to be either a green tea, a raspberry hibiscus and strawberry tea (my current fave) or a peach tea!
clean teeth again, mouthwash and use my water flosser to help my mouth feel as clean as possible.
do skincare and bodycare. i use a thick lotion on my body twice a day, wait a little then spray perfume as well as applying suncream on my face always and on my body depending on the UV/my activities for the day.
spend fifteen or twenty minutes journalling and using my hands to write down my feelings, mood or any other journal prompt.
read a little of my book, try and be as thoughtful as possible and really absorb the meaning. treasure what a gift literature is.
go on a little walk! i like to aim for twenty minutes, just something short and brief but allows me to spend some time outside and really moving my body.
do something with my hands. bake something, write something, craft something, anything that requires me to focus and engage in a hobby. im always in the process of creating something and im guilty of having hundreds of half finished projects - hoping to finish some this summer!
prepare and plan for the day ahead. write my to do list, organise things with friends or for myself and get ready to enjoy the rest of my day having spent a delightful summer morning caring for my body and soul.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
thank you for reading angels! hope you enjoyed, summer is such a brilliant time of year to prioritise yourself, your needs and develop new hobbies and skills. this routine reminds me to treasure it and take the time to appreciate it before it slips away for the rest of the year. hopefully this time of year is treating you all wonderfully! to anyone who has exams, take a deep breath, drink some water and remind yourself that you can and will get through this.
from, m.

10 step sunday reset routine
as someone who struggles with depression, cleaning my room and getting my life together is a struggle.
having a reset routine can help bring me out of a funk and lift my spirts a little.
i'll be completely honest i have a pretty bad depression room going, and my depression has taken over my life these past few months. so even though this is my sunday reset routine, i haven't done it in a while. but i've had enough. i'm determined to dig myself out of the hole i put myself in. and the first step for me is doing my sunday reset routine.
Tumblr media
music, stretch, and workout
i am resetting my whole routine, and the first thing i prioritize is my physical health. when i'm in deep into my depressive cycle, i don't prioritize my physical health at all. in fact, i find that my physical & mental health overlap a ton. so in order to properly reset and get off on the right foot, i need to move my body in a positive way.
2. wash bedsheets
bed rotting is my favorite activity during my depression. so, it's a must to clean my sheets and make my depressive rat's nest into a cute bedspread again.
3. put away dirty and clean clothes
i always make piles of dirty and clean clothes when i start to get back into bad habits again. it always starts with cleaning my clothes but not folding/putting them away. this is usually a majority of what's on my floor in the first place, so this frees up a lot of space and immediately makes the room look 50% better. my favorite thing to motivate me to do this (& make it more fun) is putting on a mindless tv show in the background (i always watch greys anatomy).
4. clean & get rid of dirty dishes
i usually stack up some cups and bowls during this time. so now is a good time to start getting rid of these items and bring them down to the kitchen. i unfortunately dont have access to a dishwasher, so i need to handwash all of my dishes, but this would definitely go by faster with one!
5. wash dirty clothes
by this point my bedsheets have most likely finished in the wash and i've sorted through all the clothes on my floor, so now it's time to finally get the giant pile of dirty clothes tackled. as a uni student living in the dorms (don't worry, i have a private room), scent beads are my favorite go-to to feel comfy and more at home when i wear my clothes.
6. pick up and take out trash
my trash and recycling has definitely piled up at this point (in my room and in their respective cans). i'm also halfway through my routine and i most definitely need some fresh air for a minute. this step may be inconvenient (especially as a uni student who has to lug their trash cans to their uni dumpsters somewhere on campus) but its also a good way to get some vitamin d (and add to my daily steps!).
7. clean & tidy surfaces
i dont know how it happens but there is always some mystery gunk on my desk (usually from my makeup), so all my surfaces need a serious wipedown. i also find this the most satisfying part!
8. vacuum/sweep (my least favorite...)
i may not always do this step, mostly because i absolutely loathe vacuuming, but after this recent depressive episode, my floors need a good vacuum. so unfortunately, i must do what needs to be done...
9. make my bed and put away clean clothes
the finishing touches. i'm tired at this point, and this is where i usually call it quits and tell myself that i will fold and put away my clothes later. but i have to call myself on my bullshit0; i will not fold and put it away later. i have to do it now. a useful tip is imagining your crush (or just a hot celebrity) is coming over. now i want my room to be perfect for them!
10. light a candle and pat yourself on the back
this is a safe space and you deserve to be proud of yourself! even if you only did one thing in this routine... because that's one more thing than you did yesterday <3
xoxo

2025 : #11 - 6% Mentality : why u are holding urself back ?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
✒️..It’s January . You’re all fired up about your New Year’s resolutions, right? “This is my year,” u say. “I’ll lose the weight, make the money, start the business, crush my goals.” But BFR : By the time February rolls around, you’re back to your old habits. Your gym membership is collecting dust, that diet is long gone, and that academic cb idea is still just a thought in your head. You’ve been here before iiikr
🏷️[ inspiration: dr.Michelle Robbins refers to her study of 1,000 people, showing that 94% gave up on their resolutions by February but how the 6% managed to succeed ?]
So 94% of people will abandon their goals before they even get started. Let me repeat that 94%. The odds are stacked against you, but there’s a small group—just 6%—who will do the work, face the grind, and get what they want. What separates them from the rest? They know the truth, and they do it even when they don’t feel like it.
Let me give u truth. If you want to be part of the 6%, you need to change how you think, act, and approach your goals. u need to stop being weak.
ONE take charge or shut up.
Your brain is not your friend. It’s a coward. Your brain wants comfort, safety, and the easy way out. Every time you try to do something hard—like losing weight, hitting the gym, or getting out of debt—your brain will whisper, “You deserve a break. Skip the gym. You’ll start tomorrow. One donut won’t hurt.”The reality is that tomorrow never comes. And if you keep listening to your brain, you'll never see any change. The 6%? They don’t listen to their excuses. They take charge. They override their feelings. They don’t give a damn about comfort or instant gratification—they’re thinking about where they want to be a year from now.
You need to make a choice: Are you going to let your feelings control you? Or are you going to start controlling your feelings? Take charge. You don’t want it bad enough if you keep letting your brain win.
Two get specific or quit.
Enough with the vague promises. “I’ll work out more.” “I’ll eat healthier.” Bullshit. That’s not a goal—that’s a wish. You might as well wish on a star and hope things magically change. The 6% know that vague goals don’t work. They get specific. Instead of saying, “I’ll lose weight,” they say, “I’ll eat 1,800 calories a day and hit the gym for 30 minutes every morning at 7 AM.” Instead of saying, “I want to be a high achiever,” they say, “I’ll study 2h and rest for 30 min until I get it” ..Your brain loves specifics. It’s easy to stay motivated when you know exactly what to do. But when you’re vague, you have no idea where you’re going, and no one gets anywhere with no direction.
You need to stop with the “I’ll try” and start with “I will.” If you can’t commit to specifics, then stop whining about why things aren’t working. You get what you decide to get, not what you wish for.
Three focus on the 10
You’re busy. I get it. WE ARE IN A SOCIETY WHERE EVERYONE IS BUSY..You’ve got a million things on your to-do list. But guess what? Most of that stuff doesn’t matter. You’re wasting time on things that don’t move the needle. “Check emails. Scroll Instagram. Clean your room.” Sure, they make you feel productive, but they don’t move you closer to your goals. You need to stop being busy and start being effective. The 6% know how to focus. They don’t waste time on trivial shit. They get to work on the 10s—the things that actually matter. If your goal is to get in shape, that means working out. It doesn’t mean cleaning your kitchen or sending one more email. If your goal is for example become an academic weapon is not watching how to study for exam in the last night ..
Get real with yourself pookie Stop pretending you’re busy. Look at your list. What’s the ONE thing that moves you closer to your goal? Do that first. The rest? It can wait. If it’s not a 10, don’t waste your time on it.
Forth small steps big results.
Let’s not sugarcoat this: If you want to succeed, you have to make sacrifices. There’s no shortcut. But the thing most people don’t get that You dont need to change everything at once. You don’t need to completely overhaul your life. Start small.Take one step at a time. If you’re trying to lose weight, drink one glass of water before every meal. That’s it. But don’t stop there. Once that becomes easy, add something else: Maybe you walk 10 minutes every day. Or swap out soda for water.
The 6% get it: Small actions snowball. They build momentum. You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to show up consistently.
The Challenge: 30 Days of Realness.
Pick one goal. ONE. And commit to it for the next 30 days. No excuses. Write it down. Be specific. Take charge. Get rid of all the distractions and focus on what matters. Every single day, make progress—even if it’s just a little. But if you’re not serious about this, don’t bother. If you’re not willing to do what it takes—if you’re too busy making excuses—then stop pretending you want to change. The 6% don’t have time for excuses. They do the work, even when it’s hard, even when they don’t feel like it.believe in urself and be disciplined !!
So, get off your ass, stop whining, and start doing. Because if you keep playing the same game, you’re going to keep getting the same results. But if you’re ready to be part of the 6%? You better bring your A-game. And you better be real with yourself.

Polished and Productive: The It Girl Playbook for Organization. 💋☕️
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- The Power of a Chic Planner 📄 Your planner is more than just dates and deadlines, it’s your daily sidekick. Opt for one that’s stylish and functional—think sleek leather covers, minimalist designs, and plenty of space for your goals. Use it to jot down tasks, appointments, and those brilliant ideas you get on the go.
- Create a Morning Routine That Sets the Tone 📋 Start your day with a quick, five-minute planning session. Outline your top three priorities, a to-do list, and a motivational quote. This mini habit keeps you focused and ready to conquer the day ahead.
- Declutter Your Digital Space 💻 Your phone and laptop should be as chic as your outfit. Organize your apps into folders, clear out your camera roll, and set a wallpaper that inspires you. Keep your inbox clean by unsubscribing from emails that no longer serve you—it’s like a digital detox.
- Capsule Wardrobe, but for Your Desk 🖋️ Keep your workspace minimalist and clutter-free. Think of it like a capsule wardrobe: only the essentials, but each item should be purposeful and aesthetically pleasing. A sleek pen holder, a chic planner, and a scented candle are all you really need.
- Time Blocking: Your Secret Weapon 🗓️ An It Girl knows that multitasking is out, and time blocking is in. Set specific times for studying, working, and breaks. This method keeps you in control of your schedule, so you can slay your to-do list without feeling overwhelmed.
- Organize Your Thoughts with Brain Dumps 📓 Feeling overwhelmed? Do a quick brain dump—grab a notebook and write down everything on your mind. It’s like a reset button for your brain, clearing the clutter so you can focus on what truly matters.
- Weekly Reset Ritual 🕊️ Dedicate one day a week to reset. This is your time to clean your space, plan for the week ahead, and refresh your mindset. Light a candle, put on a playlist, and make this ritual something you look forward to.
- Stay Inspired with a Vision Board Keep your goals front and center with a vision board. Whether digital or physical, fill it with images, quotes, and aesthetics that align with your dream life. It’s a daily reminder of what you’re working towards and why you’re putting in the effort.

a critical inner voice is the cause of perfectionism, and a very frequent reason that those with ADHD and/or gifted kid syndrome (not a literal medical diagnosis) struggle very hard to form and maintain new habits.
when you consistently face the struggle of being unable to do things in the same way as your peers, you develop a means of self-perception that is polarizing, in a literal sense.
everything is black and white, so you not only need to do things perfectly, but the tasks you need to do become "perfect" in a structural sense.
if you try to do the dishes consistently, you must either do all of the dishes or it is a failure.
even further, you subconsciously remove things that would make tasks easier, because you separate a task mentally from others.
shaving is not within the umbrella of a "wake up routine" or "bathroom tasks", each individual task, including shaving, is treated as conceptually different and whole, which makes each of them more daunting and less approachable.
the means of doing said tasks also must be held up to what is perceived as the ideal societal standard.
it's never thought "maybe I can shave a different way?" because the way that shaving is always shown in media and television, where people almost exclusively see it, is with shaving cream, a hand razor and in front of the bathroom mirror.
i've been able to brush my teeth and shave my face consistently ever since I've started to do it in the shower. i bought a little suction cup mirror and have done it there.
both tasks being contained within the larger task of "shower" in a tangible way makes it much simpler.
if you were to talk to neurotypical people, they have an incredible amount of imperfections in their routines. my mother stops exercising entirely during the winter, my brother uses an electric razor with a specific head and shaves it "well enough" to not be spotted by most people, my sister does the dishes until she feels like stopping.
the difference is that they automatically asssume that the way they do these things is not just okay, but normal and expected.
half-assing is in human nature and it gets pounded out by trauma. we are expected to and often should do things in awkward, tailored ways imperfectly and half-heartedly, for the sake of our basic mental health.
don't let perfectionism make it so you never achieve "good".
"good" is all it takes to have a healthy routine.

⋆˙⟡Ultimate Self Care Sunday Guide ⋆˙⟡
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
☆.。.:*·°☆.。.:*·°☆.。.:*·°☆.。.:*·°☆.。.:*·°☆.。.:*·°☆.。.:*·°☆
When I think about Sundays I think about rejuvenation and pleasure ; enjoying the day while doing a weekly reset.
On Sundays I like to sleep in and get that well deserved beauty sleep, the key to any successful reset is being well rested and grounded.
♡ (10:00am) Wake up, take my time waking up & lay in bed for a few mins, stretch and take some deep breaths, positive affirmations
"Today I am grateful for..."
"I deserve to treat my body with love and care today."
"I am committed to improving myself and achieving my goals daily."
♡ Open the blinds, straighten up room, and make bed. Starting the day with a bright and neat room is a simple and refreshing way to start the day off on the right foot, a small achievement as soon as you step out of bed will inspire you to keep going.
♡ Drink water & take my meds and supplements. Since it had been hours since I had any water hydrating is super important, and since I'm already taking my medicine might as well finish the glass off.
♡ Journal and plan day. Having a game plan and a clear mind before doing any real tasks sets the foundation for a productive day and promotes mindfulness. I like to have rose quartz, clear quartz, and amethyst on my desk while I journal to set peaceful intentions and promote self love. I have a five minute journal so I begin by thinking of 3 things I'm grateful for, one affirmation, and 3 things I can do for the day that will make it great. Typically on Sundays taking my time, being attentive, and being proactive are my goals for making the day great. I'll then make a to-do list for the day.
♡ Skin care and comfy clothes. Washing my face, moisturizing and putting on sunscreen is the perfect simple skin care for running errands, I usually wear some sweat pants and a t-shirt to finish the fit.
♡ Breakfast! I always like to have lots of fruit and a sweet treat on Sundays as part of my breakfast as a treat for getting through the prior week.
♡ Reset cleaning session. I like to do a full vacuum of my space, mop, wipe everything down, run the dish washer, and do my laundry. Other cleaning tasks vary based on the week but I like to make sure I am doing those tasks weekly. I also like to make sure to wash towels on Sunday since sometimes I'll do laundry on Wednesday and don't do towels then.
♡ Ultimate shower vibe time. The everything shower of my dreams after being all sweaty from cleaning. ( I have a post about this already on my page!)
♡ Light a candle and set the vibes with some mood lighting.
♡ Do my full skin care routine, face mask ect...
♡ A nice filling dinner & tv show. I love a Sunday night pasta dish with a Diet Coke while watching Pretty Little Liars.
♡ Journal. My five minute journal has a section to do in the evening, it asks to write down 3 highlights of the day and what lesson you learned for the day. It's a nice way to look back fondly on the day.
♡ Read. I like to read before bed since it helps me to fall asleep! I've been reading The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz and Conversations on Love by Natasha Lunn!
♡ (10:30pm) Night time meds & slumber!

an angels guide: my perfect winter evening routine ⋆。˚୨୧˚。⋆
hi angels! i cant believe it’s almost christmas… im feeling so angelic and wintery! im very excited and i thought a good post would be a winter evening routine (especially as a few of you so kindly asked me for one)! my goals with my winter evening routine are primarily to be productive but also to get cozy and properly rest and recover for the next day. remember this is an ideal evening routine and not something ill achieve every evening! enjoy angels.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
arrive home by 4:30 - 5:00.
spend a maximum of half an hour changing, putting clothes in the laundry, unpacking bag and getting books and supplies ready for work later. prep anything needed for cooking later.
make a cup of tea, warm matcha or hot chocolate. have a snack if needed!
refill bottle of water.
settle down and start work, focusing on most urgent work and doing what i can to make future tasks easier.
check what i need school wise for next day, pack bag and organise notes and resources needed. if possible read up on material for upcoming lesson to begin getting a grasp on the knowledge needed.
when finished with work do an evening workout for 30 minutes to an hour (on days when i have not worked out in the morning).
start cooking dinner and eat.
tidy up kitchen and prepare anything needed for lunches/breakfast the next day.
make a green tea to aid digestion!
prepare for a shower or bath.
dry brush prior to washing.
when in water exfoliate if shaving, i use either a dove sugar scrub, a lush one or a body shop one (normally in sweet, fruity or sugary scents).
regardless of whether i have exfoliated or not i then use a plain, unscented bar of soap to cleanse my body. i use a wash cloth to really cleanse my body and ensure all soap traces are removed.
if its a shaving day i massage shaving gel on the places im shaving, applying a light layer of baby oil to soften the skin and hair in particularly sensitive areas.
use a scented body wash and wash and clean everywhere thoroughly.
towel dry gently and apply a plain body lotion (the thicker the better during winter). when it has sunk in apply a body oil and scented lotion other the top.
put on my fave cozy pjs.
watch something or give myself some relaxing downtime. my favourites at the moment are anything christmassy (i love festive episodes from my fave shows and christmas films!), gilmore girls and some really interesting documentaries.
fill up bottle with water.
use mouthwash, clean teeth and floss.
pm skincare.
nightly yoga stretch.
get into bed and do a few minutes of journaling (or longer sometimes inspiration strikes late!).
read in bed until i am ready to rest, then go to sleep.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
thank you for reading angels! i tried to include timings where possible but my schedule can vary massively - this is an example of a day where i had no activities etc. this isnt what every evening looks like for me, i try to find what works for me and be adjustable with a few daily non negotiables. happy christmas countdown to all who celebrate! feel free to tell me your evening routines or give me and others any tips - i love hearing from all of you angels.
love, m.

things that make my mornings a million times better⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🎀
Tumblr media
AN EARLY START ;
the only way that i can enjoy my mornings is if i have plenty of time to do what i need, without being too in a rush yk? so i'll sleep early and wake up relatively early so that i have adequate time to myself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
another thing that i have been incorporating into my morning routine is no scroll mornings bcuz i dont want doom scrolling to sap up my getting ready time in the morning, cuz im worth every minute of time i put into preparing myself for a successful day.
MORNING WORKOUT ;
i almost always work out in the morning, the only time that i won't is if i wanna head to the gym later on in the day, after school or whatever. so i always leave out weights and resistance bands for myself to use in the morning.
i have the workout that im doing already decided in my agenda on my notion and one that i do often, i'll link right here bcuz its rly easy and light for the morning which is just what i like.
ADEQUATE PAMPER TIME ;
i want to have as much time as possible to make myself look my very best bcuz getting dolled up and pampering myself helps me just as much mentally as it does physically.
before i take my shower and get ready and alladat i always have some chlorophyll water first thing bcuz its easily absorbed first thing in the morning along with lots of other benefits which i talked about in the it girls magazine.
HEADSPACE ;
i always wanna start my day off by being in the right headspace so as i go about my morning i like to say/think affirmations that are more self concept focused to get me in the best headspace before starting my day.
this is a rly short post but i like to keep my morning routine pretty simple cuz most of the intricacies of it involve my pamper time and routine but i like to just have time to relax ✨
