you art is amazing and the au looks stunning and when I found out this is gonna be a series I screamed!!!

I just wanted to ask if you had like a character list or a description of what the au is about?

I really would love to jump on this hype train and all this has got me so excited!

I do have a google sheet with a buncha characters written down but it has some spoilers in it so... 👀

But I can absolutely give a rundown!! Magyctale doesn't exactly have a solid "gimmick" (like Underswap or Underfell) but it's more like a rewrite of sorts? The characters act somewhat differentlyto their original counterparts and the main meat of the story is how their journey affects them and their relationships. :3

So for instance: Season 1 is for the most part a reimagining of Undertale, with a few original characters sprinkled alongside the AU cast. One of the biggest changes is that Frisk is older (they're about 17) so they have a lot more to say and there's a lot more room for them to express themself. Also I just prefer writing characters who aren't small childen XDD

After Season 1 is when it starts going into more stuff from my own noggin as opposed to being a retelling. So S1 is kinda like introducing all the characters and their dynamics before adding more stuff :3

By far my favorite arc is the one that incorperates elements from Deltarune- that's where my favorite boys come in and also is the arc with the most OCs!! Especially Mave- that's my horrible horrible son whom I adore with my entire heart and soul <3<3<3

These are all from S1 (since that's what I'm focusing on planning right now) but I will take a short detour to talk about my awful little son just because I can <3

He started off as just my interpretation of The Knight from DR but now he is one of my most multi-faceted characters of all time I think. Funny how that worked out-

He is by far one of my favorite OCs of All Time and he's such a lil weirdo hehehe

Are there other lion miraculous besides the main five? Like the Miraculous box? And what would the five miraculous box be?

I think at some point, we also played with the idea of a white lion miraculous, but it wasn’t ever an idea that took shape.

As for the box or other miraculouses, there are none. In fact, i believe it would be accurate to say the five lion miraculouses are the only miraculouses in the world.

It’s worth noting that when my friends and i were making this au, season 3 hadn’t even come out, so most other elements of ML and the show beyond s2 were not things we explored in the story. The box existed then, but we didn’t know much about all the other miraculous, so the story shaped itself more around the elements of voltron rather than ML.

I feel like I need to explain a few things about this post, so here we go lol

Roxie truly thought something happened to Cici and was scared to death and heartbroken. And yeah, she probably made a rushed decision, but she’s not wrong. Phoenix would go save Pandora’s ass if something happened. Not just because he’s reconnected with his sister over the last few years, but because he’ll always put his family above everything else. Phoenix is, after all, his father’s son. And just like no one could stop Sterling from stepping up for Pandora if something happened, no one can change the way Phoenix is. Not even Roxie.

And because Roxie loves him so much, she would never put Phoenix in a position where he’d have to choose between his family or the one he built with her. She’d rather be the one to leave. They both have strong family values, but while Phoenix leans more toward his parents and his sister, Roxie’s top priority will always be her children—not Phoenix, not even herself.

Hey I was doing some reading, and I read that Allura Altea and Coran H.W. Smythe are the guardians of the shadow miraculous, could you tell us a little more about these miraculouses? And which miraculous does Karminova carry? And the monstrous beings he creates are "akumatized" people or would it be equal to the power of the peacock's miraculous? And when joining the five miraculous of the Lion, the person would have control over the quintessence, that is, through the element of space, what would this power be for? To fulfill a wish?

Hey there!

So it’s been a hot minute since i was actively thinking about this story (and tbf i won’t be continuing it jsyk), but i do have pretty lengthy notes of my ideas and thoughts from way back when, so i’ll try to answer this as accurately as i can.

I’m not sure I ever shared this, but the Void miraculous is actually.. the missing chip from the black lion miraculous. It naturally (or unnaturally?) completed it’s incomplete form with quintessence, meaning that it’s “form” takes quite the toll on those around it and especially those who use it.

Which brings me to Karminova- or rather Zarkon Daibazaal. I’m sure he experiences a lot of health issues in direct consequence of his use of the void miraculous, however, being the head of the company that leads the world in all the latest and greatest medical research and advancements, he’s got a LOT of resources at his disposal. Unknown to the public and under Zarkon’s order, Galra Inc. funds unethical quintessence testing on civilians which results in Zamorites.

Zamorites are the “akuma” equivalent in this setting. They are not possessed by the void miraculous, but rather, their quintessence has corrupted and for the most part consumed the person within. While Karminova does have an ability to hold some influence over them, it’s nothing like Hawkmoth’s ability to speak to and influence akumas in ML. Thankfully, like ML, the zamorites are not beyond saving. Enter: the Lion miraculouses!

Though they are powerful separately, it’s only when they are combined that they have enough power to cleanse a zamorite and save the person from their corrupted quintessence. Under normal circumstances, the 5 Lion miraculous users would bring together their light energies and send it through the zamorite, but since the black lion miraculous is chipped, the black lion suffers from a lack of ability to do this, so the energy is gathered in Shiro’s prosthetic (unseen to everyone lol) and then used to cleanse the zamorite through touch.

It’s been a very long time since i engaged with the contents of voltron, but i believe that in this interpretation we saw quintessence as something that all life held- meaning every person has it - hence why that part of them can become corrupted. This corruption happens not by taking from a person’s quintessence, but rather adding far too much to it. People are not meant to contain or control that much power- and that is why the lion miraculouses exist and are so powerful. They grant the ability to control a power that would otherwise corrupt and kill a person (the eventual fate of zamorites, unfortunately). If a person were to wear all 5…. I’m not sure that would work out so well for them. The Lion miraculouses were created separately for a reason, and though I don’t ever remember exploring it, I imagine that the result would be much the same as the zamorites- corruption through an overabundance of quintessence.

So to answer your questions more directly:

Allura (and by extension Coran) is the acting guardian of the Lion Miraculouses, and not exactly the guardian of the Void Miraculous, because it shouldn’t even exist. Zarkon/Karminova is the one who holds and uses the Void miraculous, and it’s powers are actually exceedingly limited because he doesn’t have a kwami to go along with this faux miraculous. The 5 Lion miraculouses are not really intended to be worn all by one person, and if one were to do so, the results would be… not good.

I hope that answers all your questions? I know my AUs have a tendency to be off-book, so things aren’t usually 1:1 when placed side by side with the media that inspired the au.
