Summary: He felt like he had been walking forever. Jeez, how big was this place? And where the hell was the Kryptonian hiding? Was it getting colder or was he just nervous? Maybe the Kryptonian was nearby - he could feel eyes on him still. Maybe it was the piercing eyes of the Kryptonian. Maybe it was his imagination. Or at least it was his imagination until someone skittered through the darkness across the path.

On one hand I don't completely hate what wfa did with Steph this week. It's a fly over of a lot of really deep, complex stuff, and I wish they would have dug more into it, of course. Like if Jason gets multiple episodes exploring his Joker trauma we could probably spare one episode explicitly focused on her Black Mask trauma rather than brushing over it in two sentences. BUT at least we're talking about War Games at all, and even if I think it's a one sided take I can see why Steph herself would view all of it that way, especially in a reality where she didn't die, and how failing to save that guy would bring those thoughts crashing back in on her. (Though I do wish Babs and Cass would have pushed back harder on stuff other than the gang war not being her fault, especially Batman firing her)

On the other I just know we're about to have to deal with a whole new string of jokes about how Steph started a gang war that one time.

what i think is insane is ive never in my life been so drawn to writing for a piece of media as i am mop bsycho but im not a writer and i have no idea HOW to do that. i have a wealth of ideas for mutlichapter character building fics which ive just. Never Experienced Before. and its been ongoing for months & months & months. its been like over a year since ive even watched the show or meaningfully interacted w the fandom. it just doesnt go away

10. How much do you write before you post?

clearly not enough, it's the reason why Single Seers gets such a slow update. i just don't have any of it pre-written :c

right now I try to do better and write at least half of a fic/the main points but because of that my bigger projects are in the dark at this point

🍉 Do you prefer to write short fics or long fics? Multichaptered works or single ones? Why? I've only done short ones so far, every my mutlichapters aren't more than 7-8K words. I'd love to do a long one, it just hasn't happened yet. I didn't intend to do mutichapters, but the ones I have done, I just got to a natural chapter end or cliff hanger and was all let's do this, let's keep the readers hanging!

🍒 What’s your favorite character dynamic to write? (Can be romantic or platonic, specific or general!)? Romantic! I know a lot of people criticise fanfic for focusing on romantic over platonic, but I haven't had a lot of close platonic friendships, so I don't really feel know how to write them 😢

🍊 Who’s a character you don’t write for that often, but keep meaning to write for more? (They’re so interesting! But maybe you have trouble pinning them down, or keep getting distracted by another blorbo…) I'd love to write the 80s and 90s lineups more, especially Bruce. And the good news is there are some wips coming!

30: Usually I go for citrus but right now I have a coconut and pineapple candle I really like, I think it was bath and body works that had a scent called like "moonlight stroll" or something that I really liked as a kid

37: I used to read a lot as a kid but than I got hit with ocd + whatever is wrong with a lot of peoples attention spans nowadays and I probably haven't read a full book in a decade? Even a mutlichapter fanfic is a bit too heavy of a lift for me now.

I do play a lot of choice of games and hosted games games, which is text based choose you own adventure so very much like reading a book

AND, very exciting, I am very close to finishing my first book in maybe a decade, many thanks to my library card and the libby app for that

As for a favorite book, I have no fucking clue, when I finished Wicked there was an instant feeling of like absence that it was over and I wanted to reread it right away, Princess Bride, Stardust, and Ella Enchanted are all amazing books with equally amazing movies, I devoured the Percy Jackson books as a kid but I'm kinda on the fence with them now given the authors stance on Palestine, Nancy Farmer, Neal Shusterman, and Scott Westerfield all have both series and books that I love, there's a children's(?) biography of Woody Guthrie that I absolutely adore, idk

I really like your name Mousy for my MC because I think it's perfect 🐭 I also think how Dani fits into the story so well! She's in danger because she wants to be but she would be betrayed at how Mousy is being mistreated despite their efforts 😢

I love the idea of their friendship with Dani, the angels, and Solomon because Mousy is actually willing to interact with people as long as they put in the efforts into the friendship to make it work! It helps they respect them too!

I have another detail I want to add! I just thought of it 💡When the angels, Dani, & Solomon were talking about their friendship with Mousy, they mentioned little things like their hobbies, favourite desserts, books, and even magic spells they want to learn if there's any or something similar.

The brothers slowly realising that MC did try to know them better at first but it was quite one-sided on their part. The angels & Solomon admit it did take some time for MC to warm up to them but they asked the brothers how did they not know about these facts about them when MC technically knew them longer than the Purgatory Hall boys. Dani is just disappointed at the brothers. What do you think of this? I would like to know your thoughts 🤔

Oh, Dani is always disappointed with them for some reason, especially if her friends are involved 😂

We could do this, yeah, I think it could be cool. It will take a lot of time to start because there's the 500 followers celebration, but I always work on more than one thing at the same time, so nothing out of the ordinary.

I'll just take note of everything you've told me so I can merge it with my own ideas and then I'll write it in the future 😁
