Tumblr "Poll Results" for my #HHStargazersAU are out and so I'm releasing ALL the currently available titles of my future posts for this story!!! Though to not completely spoil the plot for everyone, I redacted some parts on the list. Just know that, while I DO have plans, they could always change and not everything is complete. But if you're still willing to be patient with me, here's a taste of my writing and art! Nothing serious. Just to see if it's to your liking. I won't always stick to such style, but there WILL be consistent world building as it's my favorite part of starting any AU! And if you like Chaggie or queerplatonic Radioapple centric stories then you're in luck because that's EVERYTHING I'm here for! It'll take a lot of effort, but GOD will it also be a LOT of fun! Opinion please:

What are people’s thoughts on someone (let’s be real, me), starting a YouTube channel dedicated to reading banned books - starting with the classics but working our way out - so people/kids who can’t get a hold of them can listen/watch without having to buy it or go to the school library where it’s maybe been removed or something. Where people without access - like kids - can get that access in another way.

This wouldn’t be a monetized channel, obviously. That way lies lawsuits - except in cases where a book is in public domain. And I 100% encourage supporting your local library when you can. I also know not everywhere has a library, not everyone has access to one or the freedom to check out whatever they wish, or has the money to buy books deemed “dangerous” by the government or the far-right, but a lot of those same people do have access to the Internet and YouTube.

I genuinely like reading out loud but I’m agoraphobic and work from home so its not something I get much use out of cause I can’t really volunteer “reading hours” at my local library very well. And this seemed like a way to be just a little rebellious in my own way.

So, what do you think.

I’m not the most tech savvy person, so no matter the poll results, it wouldn’t be tomorrow that I would get this little project up and running. I’m just curious what people would think.

Please don't answer based on how much you hate teenagers, I chose a hs concert band as a setting based on instrumentation and then added a tiny bit extra for people who would say "hey you forgot ____". I don't think most people's hs bands consistently had flugelhorns, for instance, but I still threw 'em in.

FORAGING SIMULATOR (pt. 1)

you are lost & starving in an unfamiliar forest. before you collapse from the fatigue, you see two clusters of wild mushrooms, pictured below. you lean forward, noting that mushroom 1 (left) smells faintly of sweet chestnut, while mushroom 2 (right) smells almost sickeningly of honey. make your choice.

option 1: you consumed cyclocybe aegerita, known by many names around the world, most commonly as the poplar fieldcap. it is sold commercially in a variety of countries, & forms a pretty substantial part of chinese & south-european cuisine. although slightly unpleasant to eat raw, this mushroom filled you up & allowed you to find help. YOU SURVIVED :-)

option 2: you consumed amanita phalloides, famously called the death cap. it tasted horrible. after swallowing only half of the mushroom's cap, you suffered waves of nausea & vomiting, tachycardia, & diarrhoea. however, about 24 hours after the poisoning, your symptoms seemingly disappeared. 2 days after that, your liver shut down, you suffered delirium, & your kidneys stopped working. if the multiple organ failure didn't kill you, the seizures & eventual coma sure did. YOU DIED* BAD :-(

option 3: you starved, which couldn't have been fun, but the gamble is rarely worth it with mushrooms, huh?

*although there is no current antidote, there are a variety of treatments that may improve the symptoms & allow you to survive thanks to modern medicine.

im so curious about how some other ppls minds work on this so: when you have a ship/otp, do you personally need to find them both physically attractive in some manner? not 'i would also sleep with them', level but 'yeah they are hot' territory.
