Nightshade

To an outsider, one might consider that there is very little love between Omori and Stranger. Gestures and words that mimic love, perhaps, but no actual love. 

Whether what they have is sane or lovely matters very little to either. Despite having once been adversaries, Stranger and Omori are two sides of the same coin, and they were always going to drift together eventually. Even if they still clash frequently. Even if their relationship is more than volatile.

They may not share a traditional relationship, but they treasure what is there. It matters very little how others judge their bond.

Stranger → Omori

Stranger has never hated Omori. He’s been frustrated by him, and he has on many occasions wanted to wring his neck and torment him until he’d let go of the Dreamer. He has faced him as a vessel and eventually an antagonist, yes, but within that complex matrix of feelings he holds for him, hatred has never been one. 

The truth is that Stranger quite adores Omori and can’t help but to dote on him, no matter how often his efforts get rejected.

It has never been Stranger’s purpose to hold feelings or opinions, yet Omori was the first to make him understand that perhaps he came with a defect. His grievances, his fury at the Dreamer, and his desire to see him rise above his weaknesses only ever served to attain his goal. But not what he feels for Omori. It seems to serve no purpose, and yet his soft spot for Omori has been visible from day one.

Stranger’s intrinsic love for the Dreamer seems to have carried over to Omori, but their unique bond’s effect is that Stranger has fallen for him despite all the hard-to-love parts of Omori. And in the end, Stranger is his own person. He has chosen to embrace these feelings as his own, not some disembodied copy foreign to himself.

Their relationship is rocky, in part due to Omori’s purpose, in part due to their past, but being given another chance in headspace has offered them the room to grow closer. You could even say that Stranger is happy with Omori.

Omori → Stranger

To say that Omori hates Stranger is an understatement. To say that Omori loves Stranger is an equal understatement.

Stranger is a conundrum that frustrates Omori. He doesn’t make sense. Omori’s feelings about him don’t make sense. One moment he’s smug that he’s left behind in blackspace, the next he’s crawling through nightmare guck because he’s worried about him. When did he become so weak?

Maybe it has to do with his shifting age, or maybe he deals with Stranger differently now that the threat is gone. Whatever happened, Omori isn't so sure if he's happy with this change.

But he can’t deny that when he lets Stranger in, his life is better. Despite having once been staunch enemies and Stranger having led the Dreamer to his doom, Omori can’t deny that the outcome of closing the distance between them isn’t so bad. So long as Stranger keeps the affection that Omori is very well entitled to coming.

Might still claw out Stranger’s eyes.

In The Family Way - Part 4.2

Pairing: Steve Harrington/Eddie Munson, Background Argyle/Jonathan Rating: T Summary: The Munson family has never had the typical values that most modern Americans have as they find thrill in all that's mysterious and spooky. Steve Harrington, a black widow omega, hadn't known this when he mated with the family's eldest alpha, Eddie, and thought that he'd be another easy mark that he could kill to inherit the millions that Eddie owned. However, not only do all his murder attempts fail, but Eddie actually enjoys them! And to make matters worse, the alpha wants to try for a pup! Steve has to find a way to off Eddie for good, before he gets pregnant and maybe actually falls for the death-crazed alpha. The Munsons moved surprisingly fast and were out of the house in under an hour, leaving Steve alone in the bedroom that he had used when he was employed here as a nanny. As unpleasant as Steve remembered it, the room was a dreary gray color with animal heads and rusty weapons decorating the walls. There were also cobwebs everywhere, purposely left because the Munsons loved creepy-crawly things. He supposed he could clean it, but the gnawing in his abdomen made him only want to lie on the old four-poster bed and sulk.

As an offer of hospitality, Eddie had said that the Munsons could stay in their home for the time being, so he supposed that he would have to be his revenge for forcing him to have his heat here in the decrepit Munson manor. Steve almost wished he could see the looks on their faces, having to be surrounded by pastels and actual taste. They were probably besides themselves. Maybe they’d die from shock or exposure, if only Steve could be so lucky.

“Sweetheart,” Steve heard Eddie from the hallway. The alpha was being overly proper and wouldn’t come in since the omega had yet to extend an invite to his den. “Come to the nesting room. You’ll be much more comfortable going through your heat there.”

“No way. I’m staying right here,” Steve answered stubbornly. “I don’t nest.”

“Stop being difficult, my pet. Everyone nests. Omegas. Betas. Even alphas.”

Steve snorted. Someone should’ve told that to his parents when they were alive. They believed that nesting was solely for omegas, and since they didn’t want him to be an omega then he wasn’t allowed to nest. Even after their death, he could still hear their disapproval and admonishment, driving into him that no one could love a broken person like him.

“Well, I don’t! I’ve never made a nest in my life, and I don’t plan to start now!”

There was a moment of silence before there was a soft knock on the door frame. Steve looked up from his sulking to see Eddie peeking in at him with an awestruck expression. He still found it hard to believe that the other was truly an alpha, because Eddie didn’t act like any of the other alphas that Steve had known. The other alphas had been rude and acted like they were owed something, so unlike Eddie that it was almost sweet.

“I could build a nest for you,” Eddie mumbled, face half-hidden by the door frame.

“What?”

“I could build a nest for you,” he repeated louder as blush filled the parts of Eddie’s cheeks that Steve could see. “A heat or rut is better in a nest. I could build one.”

Pursing his lips, Steve said, “But you’re an alpha.”

“I’ve built myself nests. And even if I hadn’t, you’re my deadly nightshade, my sweet oleander. I would do anything for you. You need only ask it.”

Heat burned against Steve’s face, and he blamed his upcoming biological nightmare instead of that he was touched by Eddie’s words. Steve honestly didn’t know why Eddie liked him so much when all Steve did was snap at him endlessly. Maybe he was simply a glutton for punishment verbally as well as physically. Besides, Steve was the first omega to show any interest in Eddie, so he probably would’ve behaved this way for anyone who caught his attention. Steve was nothing special to Eddie. He needed to remember that, so he wouldn’t get hurt again.

“Knock yourself out,” Steve huffed. “But don’t think I’ll use it if it’s not color coordinated. I’m an omega with very high standards, you know.”

“I know, my pet. I would hang myself from the rafters and feed myself to sharks before I ever gave you a subpar nest.”

A small smile threatened to find its way to Steve’s lips, “Like you wouldn’t enjoy hanging from the rafters or being fed to sharks.”

“Only if it was done by you, sweetheart. Any torture you place upon me is absolute bliss.”

“Whatever, just go make the nest and be quick about it!”

After a nod of affirmation, Eddie left to carry out his task. Steve stared at the door for a little while longer before he curled in n himself, gripping his stomach. He could only wonder what his parents would think if they saw him. If they’d berate him for being an omega who couldn’t make his own nest or if they would punish him for allowing himself to go into heat, for not taking the potion seriously.

Thoughts of his parents continued to spiral in Steve’s, making him wish that he could kill them again for all the insecurities they placed on him. He was so wrapped up in his feelings that he barely noticed Eddie’s knock at the door. It was only when Eddie knocked a second time that he was finally able to pull himself back into the present, away from his parents’ disappointment.

“You feeling okay, my pet?” Eddie asked when their eyes met. “You’re crying.”

Steve touched his cheeks and realized that Eddie was right. The stupid hormones were making his emotions become unbalanced. He cursed them silently under his breath while using his sleeves to wipe away any tears that had fallen. Once this was over, Steve was going to double his suppressants, make certain he never lost control of himself again.

“Done already?” Steve answered back, not acknowledging Eddie’s concern.

The alpha nodded then said proudly, “I think I out did myself.”

“I’ll be the judge of that, because I won’t settle for a shitty nest.”

“Of course! I would never allow my omega to have their heat in anything except the softest and most comfortable nest, just the way you like it.”

To be honest, Steve doubted that Eddie could make anything that Steve liked given how the alpha had his own ideas on what comfortable was, and the nest could be on a bed of nails for all Steve knew. Eddie was being persistent, however, and the instincts of the alpha were clearly telling him to take care of his omega, which meant that he wouldn’t leave Steve alone until that need was thoroughly squashed. All he had to do was see the next, reject it, and then keep rejecting it until his heat finally passed. Simple, at least that’s what he told himself.

TTDV stands for Through the Desert Vast. It's a new slate series everyone's going bee-brained over... I haven't read it yet because I prefer for a series to be finished before reading, but I've heard good things. Queer rep within the first couple chapters of the first slate-set, a non-traditional setting and cast (a rogue group living in the desert), and complex characters... needless to say I'm excited for when it finishes and I can read it!

Yandere clown Who was having a bit of a bad day, his performance that morning was worse than usual and his tricks didn’t seem to amuse the public anymore, he was still the star of the circus, but he was already thinking of leaving the circus, but then he saw you with the circus’s director, talking about getting a job in the circus, possibly as an acrobat or as a mage since you knew lots of “Amazing” tricks.

It was love at first sight, your beautiful hair, your perfect angelic face and that voice of yours… it seemed sooo perfect.

The director said that he’s have to think about that for a day or two and asked you to come back on the last day the circus was in town to get your answer.

As soon as you got out the Yandere clown approached the director and asked him to make you join.

The director was a bit hesitant at first, saying something about you being known for your violence and unpredictability, but gave in after the clown threatened to leave the circus if the director didn’t make you join. To be fair he was willing to do something much worse if the director said no…

So … you got the job! You were an acrobat that performed just after the clown’s performance, sometimes even performing with him during his act.

You two worked really well together creating amusing performances for the public.

After most shows you two went out eating some food.

“So what did you use to do before becoming a clown?” You asked one time while eating lunch, spending time with the clown wasn’t bad, he seemed like a pretty cool and trustworthy guy and while you didn’t really care about his private life you liked to engage in conversations with him.

“Accountant, and you?” The clown on the other hand was really curious about your past, he still remembered what the director said before employing you.

“Ah! I did all kinds of things, but I never got a real job!” You were still a bit uncertain if the clown could be trusted with those info.

“Like what?” He asked smirking, expecting something about gangs or maybe drugs.

“I did kill a couple of guys, a former boss of a cartel, a couple of gangs and some things like that,…” you said with non-chalance.

The clown thought you were joking, there was no way someone as cute as you could ever harm someone, you looked so weak and defenceless!

“Oh, really? You strangled him with your little itty-bitty arms?” He asked sarcastically.

Unfortunately, you didn’t get the sarcasm.

“Oh no, that would have been inefficient, I used some nightshade berries, did you know that those berries contain lots of atropine? Just a couple of them can kill a grown man in a matter of minutes, and while it can be traced most people mistake nightshade poisoning with other types of poisons and give useless antidotes giving time to the poison to kill the victim. And if you mix the berries in a box full of blue berries an unsuspecting individual could mistakenly eat even more than a couple of them!” You explained.

Now, to say that the clown was a bit shocked was an understatement: he didn’t know you were this good at making jokes! He almost believed you killed a guy with poison, but you were so harmless and innocent, you were obviously joking!

“I see~ I didn’t know you were so good at making jokes!” He said winking at you.

You mistook his winking as a way of telling you he’d keep the secret. So you decided to tell him a bit more about your past.

“You know those weren’t the only thing I did” you said looking at him.

“Oh, really?” He said expecting another joke.

“Yeah, you know the so called Ghost massacre? I was the one behind it!” You said waiting for his reaction.

The clown laughed.

“You mean the one in which all those people were crucified in a square?” He asked, looking at you with a smile.

You both had a twisted humor, he thought, it was fate that made you two meet.

“Yeah, do you know how difficult it is to kill so many people, to build some good crosses, put them in a square without anyone noticing and bringing the people on the damn crosses?! My whole body hurt so bad for two weeks!” You commented remembering the pain you felt at that time, you had to come up with a good excuse, but your doctor pretty much believed everything you said.

“Oh my! Then next time I’ll help you carry your crosses! How does it sound?” Jest the clown, taking your last joke as the proof that you were made for him, who else but his soulmate could have such a similar humor to his!

On the other hand you took his joke as a promise.

You thought he said that he’d help you with your crimes and you were sooo thrilled at the idea.

Your hands missed the feeling of putting poison in a cup to get your victims.

And so your strange relationship started.

A clown convinced of being with someone as funny as him and a (probably) war criminal convinced of having a loyal accomplice.

I’ve designed them to make integrating the information and ancestral wisdom needed to balance hormones easily accessible. Switch each wallpaper background as you transition through each phase of your cycle. Every time you glance at your phone you get a reminder of what to focus on at a specific point in your cycle.

Each wallpaper contains:

🌟 A hormonal phase specific grocery list informed by the Autoimmune protocol (AIP) which means it excludes largely known gut irritants like nuts, seeds, beans, eggs, nightshade vegetables etc.

🌟 A list of herbal teas specific to the needs of each hormonal phase

🌟 A list of self-care practices specific to each hormonal phase

🌟 A journaling prompt

🌟 An affirmation

🌟 Basic overview of the hormonal changes occurring within the body during each phase

🌟 A list of vitamins/minerals to focus on in each phase (grocery list includes foods that contain these vitamins/minerals!)

🌟 Best care practices and tips for each phase

I have a vision of these hanging as posters in schools to teach children about the changes in each cycle. I wanted to make balancing hormones so easy that teenage me could do it. My name’s Eli, and this is my Omori sideblog (main @botaniia). Some more info about me and my stay in the fandom in this here pinned post.

I adore Stranger and Omori, and this blog’s gonna be a mixed bag of nightshade and other content. Other characters I love are Rowan, Spaceboy, Rococo, Basil, Omoriboy, and Sunny. aaah hello!! Robby told me about this website, and he said that some transformers do, uh- uh... asks! or something!! and that people can ask them questions and they can answer, and it sounded fun!! I'm Twitch Malto, and it's so cool to meet all of you! I'm- not sure where the others are, because HT helped me make this 'blog' and JB was pretty interested, but I'm sure they'll show up eventually!! Until then, I can just- answer questions, I guess!!

i've seen a LOT of people doing transformers ask blogs and, as I absolutely adore earthspark, i thought it could be fun to throw the maltos into the mix! i'm the mod of this fine blog, and i'm glad to see you here!

more of the maltos will be added in as time goes! For right now we only have Twitch, and a special guest appearance from Hashtag and Nightshade, but her other siblings will show up soon enough I'm sure :]

this blog takes place in-between seasons 1 and 2! please avoid spoilers for season 2 in general! also, this is a bit of a personal thing, but i will likely keep interactions with other blogs lower than other ask blogs do- i am simply a humble college student who can't keep up with it all ^^; one or two messages may happen, but i won't be involved in the grand scale of things!
