twst anime news!! (finally, lol)

The Twisted Wonderland anime is confirmed to be an adaptation of the main story!! The animation will be handled by Yumeta Company x Graphinicia and can be streamed on Disney+ (unsure if globally, but definitely in JP).

Seasons 1-3 have been greenlit. The first season, Episode of Heartslabyul, airs in October of 2025!! 🌹

Seasons 2 and 3 are dedicated to Savanaclaw and Octavinelle, respectively. No dates have been announced for those yet.

UPDATE: According to this tweet from Yana, it sounds like the anime will be an adaptation of the comics/manga.

Nightmare Suit Leona has a voice line in which (rough translation, not word for word) he warns you that Skully isn’t actually as gentlemanly as you might think he is, he’s actually very improper. The reasoning Leona cites is that Skully doesn’t even wait or get the okay from you first before kissing your hand.

Edit: In the event story itself, Skully says he is so happy, he’ll kiss everyone again. Leona tells him if he values his life, then don’t. CONSENT 👏 KING 👏

Solo character songs have been announced! 7 featuring the dorm leaders will be released over the course of July 2025.

The names of each song are Red Heart Rage (Riddle), Still Infallible Until Tangible (Leona), Abyss (Azul), Snake and Blink/Wink (Jamil), Crépuscule (Vil), ggwp (Idia), and Blessing (Malleus).

There will be new OB transformation animations added into the game soon.

There seems to be a new event with Cater and Chip and Dale?? He seems to be serving fast food too… maybe he’s working at a diner?

The next part of the main story is book 7.5, NOT 8!! I wonder if this will be a shorter book that’s meant to serve as a means of bridging the gap between the current school year wrapping up and whatever comes next??

Apparently Yana was once in an online meeting and. An Aniplex staffer had the baby Malleus plushie sitting in their lap without any explanation or context given. When Yana said, “I don’t believe we’ve met?”, the staffer said, “I apologize, his Majesty doesn’t understand human language yet…”

She was surprised by the cool reply 😂

Over the years, I’ve noticed trends in behaviors and attitudes between fans of particular Twst characters and I’ve wanted to know if there was any evidence to back up these observations. In other words… Are individuals with certain traits more likely to gravitate to one Twst character (in this case, one of the overblot boys) over the others? And maybe if this survey is successful, I’ll ask the same of the rest of the cast—

And so I thought to collect this data, analyze the results, and share the final report with the public. This will be done with the help of a friend (Mod Jeido from twstgameplay) that was also curious about the topic. The analysis itself will be conducted using JMP, a statistical software.

If you’re interested too, then please fill out the following form and/or share it on socials. (I don’t have a Reddit or Tiktok and I’m not active on Twitter so I’s appreciate it a lot!!) The more responses collected, the stronger the conclusions we can make!

Everyone looks like up-and-coming idols, don't they? But according to Yana, these new outfits are meant to be a more modern interpretation of the Ceremonial Robes. It is a way of showcasing the characters' youth and capacity to get up to no good.

She tried to make sure the outfit would look nice on every character + result in a stylish silhouette, no matter what his height or build, since there is a variety among the main NRC cast. The jewels and gold detailing are meant to invoke the image of magic sparkling against the darkness.
