i think they start having kids in their mid 20s and are done by the time they’re in their mid 30s, because they have four. so percy, without even needing to be asked, goes and gets a vasectomy. but since demigods heal differently than regular humans, his vas deferens end up reconnecting—meaning the vasectomy literally reverses itself—and annabeth gets pregnant when she’s like 45. they don’t even find out until she’s about four months along, and at first, they’re convinced it’s the gods’ doing. good chance they storm olympus demanding to know who did it, and the gods are just like, “uh… that wasn’t us. it’s just demigod biology.” so then they have to tell their kids, including their oldest who’s like 20, that the white jackson 5 is officially becoming a reality lol. (and of course, the baby is a boy—because only a rascal son of perseus persassy jackson would be that mischievous and sneak his way into the world like that)

and then percy has to get his vasectomy redone every 5-10 years lol

You know, whenever I see the discussions around Jack Marston possibly getting drafted in world war one, I can't help but physically ache at the thought of it.

Jack Marston, born into a gang that honoured freedom above everything, forced to sacrifice everything he has left for war.

Jack Marston, a boy who read about knights and soldiers, now forced to become one in another fight he never asked for.

Jack Marston, raised to be away from a life of violence, but now the world has found a way to drag him back in.

No matter what happens, Jack would have to face a really tragic dilemma. Does he go to war and sacrifice the legacy of freedom he was raised with? The life his family died for? Or refuse and be labeled a criminal, putting his parents to shame and repeating the same cycle his father went through?

It just tragically mirrors the struggle he’s always had - trying to find his own identity outside the legacy of John Marston, and the violence that came with it. But he's being pulled back in, no matter what he chooses.

He was never made for the violence that shaped his parents' life.

Headcanon Hell: DC #2

SO Jason Todd canonically thinks he's bad at naming things, aka one scene where he says ‘hence redhood’. And well, he doesn't have the best record with it, if I'm honest. From the limited knowledge I have, his choices are mostly somewhat bland and too direct, thus the ‘dog’ situation.

BUT what if his random name suggestions are genuinely liked among his family and friends. And by random I mean he talks about the books he's currently reading and the person in question links it to their own naming problem - thinking Jay's favourite character's name sounds pretty good. Not that he's aware of it.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a similar promt used in fan fiction in the form of Jay using names from books, but not in a humorous way. It has more potential than just that though.
