I'm sure you've seen a ton of posts like this by now but if you're able to, please check out the Operation Olive Branch spreadsheet.

They currently (5/7/24) have a list of 848 families that need funding to escape Gaza. Anything you can donate will help no matter how small. It all adds up significantly, especially the more people that share and donate.

If you're not in a position where you can donate then please at least share. The more people that do, the better chance there is for these families to get help.

I just saw a tiktok about Operation Olive Branch. They have an active spreadsheet of GoFundMes for people at the border in Rafah trying to pass into Egypt.

The TikTok I saw made a good point in that, while this is only a drop in the bucket of the millions of people in Rafah, you can make a concrete difference in the life of one (or multiple) families, many of which have members who are disabled or have other medical needs.

Operation Olive Branch wants you to choose a family that resonates with you to donate to and share about them. I chose to donate to a single mother fleeing Gaza with four children. I've seen the horrible PTSD my mother has from fleeing an abusive relationship. I can not imagine the horrors and trauma this mother and children are experiencing. I can, however, make a difference in getting her the fuck out of there.

This fundraiser is for Alaa Ayad and her family. Alaa was a college student in her final year when her family was first displaced by bombing. Since then they've been forced to relocate six more times.

This family needs food, water and medication and they are trying to escape Rafah for safety in Egypt.

Please donate if you can. As always, any little bit can make a difference in someone's life. It all adds up together towards the same goal. This is a real family vetted through Operation Olive Branch that needs help.
