hmmm
ykw. who says being atheist cant be beautiful
life is full of beauty and wonder. amazing things untouched by divine intervention. pretty flowers, beautiful sunsets, it is all mere coincidence and scientific nonsense that brought us such joy. that brought us the ability to witness such joy.
and other things, as well. romantic love is a social construct, for instance. and there are so many things — food recipes, music, art... in regards to that, we are able to create things ourselves. mere mortal humans, and we can invent things and bring them to reality when they would never have existed otherwise.
in short, in regards to that specific aspect — we are our own gods.
everything is either coincidence or our doing. and it all just aligns so perfectly regardless. isn't that beautiful?

You don’t need to invest yourself mentally into activism all the time. You aren’t a bad person if you skip a video. Someone isn’t going to die by your hands. We shouldn’t have to be paying people to send aid to Gaza, the government should. You matter as much as anyone else, we’re all human and we all suffer.
I think AJJ summed it up pretty well in their song People II: Still Peoplin’:
“You don’t have it any better, you don’t have it any worse you’re an irreplaceable human soul with your own understanding of what it means to suffer, and that’s a huge bummer”
On that note, activism doesn’t have to include monetary expenditure. You can make zines, write to your local political person, hell help out in the community, educate people on their rights! Activism was never about how much money you spent on it, punk is a DIY subculture so why are we ranking people on how much money they send to Gaza?
We need to learn to not care as much. Be educated, be empathetic, but don’t consume your life with it. You haven’t killed by your hands. And people shouldn’t tell you you have.

"What's the point" Maybe there isn't one. That's why you make one. Nothing matters until you make it matter.

yk sometimes you gotta learn to say fuck it. literally. sometimes you need to go against what society deems wrong or bad, and just do what you gotta do. NO ONE is asking you to be perfect. if you're craving something, have it. no ones killing you for that. if you cant sleep at 2 am at night, and you're so annoyed you could cry, then fuck it just go on your phone or read something. even if its a shitty fanfiction. who cares if its deemed wrong and unhealthy. you know what's really wrong and unhealthy? torturing yourself for NOTHING. its not worth it. because making a bad decision once in a while won't kill you, but forcing yourself to go on a shitty decided life path that you dont like, will.

You have to understand.... That everything is but a meaningless arrangement of atoms. Everything you've ever known, seen, or experienced. Fortuitous circumstances. In the universal chaos, humanity emerged. Not a tiny bit more purposeful than the rest. But with an incredible faculty: That of creating meaning, however fleeting it might be. I have no inherent meaning. Neither do you. But we can create, organize, put in order. And thus create purpose and meaning. Transcend the primordial chaos. All of humankind does so. We create machines that are useful. To take control. Machines like the dreaded chair. The one that subsumed me, made of me an object. But maybe, also, that made me truly realize what impermanence means. For our numerous creations only have meaning as long as they are useful. My chair, when it finally became unneeded, became once again a heap of metal. Melted back in to the universal chaos. Lost its inherent humanity. Usefulness is an easy way to meaningfulness. But not a trustworthy one. It vanishes as quickly as we do. And so it seems the only hope humanity has for transcendence is through art. Meaningfulness pulled from our chaotic minds. Not for utility, but for its own sake. And after the artist has been long gone, turned to dust, the art remains. And even after the last one of all humans will have returned to the primordial chaos, provided that we have protected it, Art will remain. And so it is that art alone is left in our wake. The only veritable form of transcendence to ever have been in our grasp. Proof of our existence, and of our pitiful efforts to raise from the chaos. As would some unknown script from a long-gone power. Well, well, now, Stella. Ozymandias beckons. Let's go.

I don't know what this is called, the closest I've gotten is optemistic nihilism, but here's my philosophy on life:
Ultimately, nothing matters. You don't, I don't, our families don't, no one you've ever met or will ever meet does. Nothing matters to the universe. But that's fine, because the universe doesn't matter to you. You don't exist at the scale of the universe. You can't comprehend it. Unless you're an astronaut, you don't even comprehend the size of our planet, but either way you certainly don't comprehend the size of our solar system. You live here. Where you are. Yeah, there's no grand purpose to find, and no morals bound into reality, but who gives a shit??? You are not reality! You are you! Indomitable human spirit or whatever! Us! Humanity! We are the answer! Look to your left, at any point in your life. Literally any time, past present or future. Is there a person there? That's your answer! We are the purpose of life! You are the purpose of life! And saying the purpose of life is to live is a simplification. I mean there isn't one built in! Atoms smashed together in weird ways, and we're here. We aren't machines. We have no defined purpose. So we made one the fuck up! The purpose of life isn't there, so WE decided that the purpose is to live! And be happy! And harm none!
Morals and reason are our unwitting invention! and that's not to say they're wrong, but the opposite! They're messy, and complex, and not understood despite us being the ones to create them, and they're human, and they're the only perfect things we have ever or will ever create!
Society is cosmically insignificant and the cosmos is socially insignificant! We matter to each other and that is the purpose!
Call it sociocosmic separation
