Every time I see "proof of donation to our chosen charity" as a payment method, I'm gutted because of how many more steps it is and how stressful the idea of them is as someone who doesn't usually donate directly to charities.

Like, I'll be happy to know where the monet is going, but - navigating a new site? Trusting an unknown (to me) site with my money? Trusting that whoever is behind the zine is going to recognise that I've done it right and not made mistakes? Figuring out however I'm supposed to prove it?

I could probably think of a dozen more reasons why it's not something that'd work for me, starting with "I have an anxiety disorder, you walnut" but knowing that it seems most people have next to no problem with it just makes me feel like I'm the only one with an issue, and I'm "causing a fuss over nothing" as always.

Just... it's maybe a Bad Thing when accessibility, in any way, goes backwards.
