Heads up! There is going to be a very long and detailed post about making sausages dropping in a few hours.

It's got a big red content warning and a readmore, so nothing is going to get gruesomely dropped on you, but make sure you add "butchery" or "cw butchery" to your tag filters to be extra safe if the idea of processing animal carcasses is upsetting to you!

It also has an image of sausage casings before they're scraped. I tried to whack the post with as many CWs as I can think of but I'd recommend "cw meat" or "cw organs" if you need them.

so there's this one like really REALLY good Miku cover of a Super Sentai song i found like a year ago and recently i went "hey maybe i should make some fanart of it because I like the cover so much I can even shill the cover in the post so other people listen to it"

then i started drawing this and went to look up the cover to get in the mood only to discover the creator deleted the original upload and replaced it with a version that used AI art for the thumbnail (i am SO salty that guy made amazing covers whyyyy) (this is the saltiest ive ever been about someone using AI) and uhh the cover itself is still great but AI art goes against my morals so I don't wanna link it but I was already inspired to do this art so i finished it anyway

《 It's my 6 year anniversary with RJ! 》

My love for RJ actually goes way back, basically to the premiere of Power Rangers Jungle Fury itself. Seeing him show up for the first time in the first episode immediately had me captivated towards such a fun character. However, it wasn't until the episode 'Bad to the Bone' that I had the most extreme crush young me could muster up.

Years passed, and I never really thought about Power Rangers, let alone RJ again. 2018 was when I ended up getting back into the franchise. However, it was on Feburary 24, 2019 that I finally sat down to watch Jungle Fury again, and the moment I saw RJ appear on screen, that crush I had came back, but this time it was just... different. But I didn't know why.

In 2023, I discovered and joined the selfship community, and it made me think a lot about some past character crushes and recontextualized them for me. While I treated it as just a fun hobby at first, I eventually realized that it was more than that. And for RJ... me and him are essentially soulmates. We were meant to be together.

okay, so thought for the day before i go mimis. so, I was scrolling through the power rangers samurai tag and came across a Jaytonio story on Wattpad a few minutes ago (don't question me) the story was incomplete, had one chapter, and hasn't been updated since 2018, but what intrigued me was the name: Golden Flames. now, i love the ship name "Jaytonio" i think it's really cute and i immediately know what couple you're talking about if you say the name. but in my humble opinion, i wouldn't be opposed to seeing them be referred to as "Golden Flames"

Can we see married cubs bringing up their husbands any chance they get like in interviews and stuff? They are so obsessed w each other it makes me sick 🙄(with love)

God, they're so in love it's gross (beautiful). Have some fond LeLo smiling about their husband(s) no matter the interview, no matter how many years they've been together, and no matter the place they are filmed. Oh, and some Finn a la Patrice Beregeron and Tuukka Rask post-retirement game analysis (but getting caught staring- he can't help himself, okay?).

“So, Tremzy,” the interviewer started, dark brown eyes twinkling behind her pink glasses. “That was a tough third period, but the Rangers scraped through. What do you think you all could improve on to avoid that next game?”

Logan nodded, using the towel he had in his hand to wipe sweat off his forehead. “Ouais, it was tough,” he panted. “I think- we just weren’t visualizing the ice, you know? We weren’t thinking ahead about our spacing and then we gave up a couple of goals.” He took a breath in. “I also think we’re a bit tired. It was a long roadie.”

“I bet,” she chimed in with a smile. “Almost two weeks. You excited for the upcoming All Star break?”

He grinned. “Ah, ouais. I’m going to go back to Gryffindor to stay with my husbands.”

“That’s right, you just got married over the summer! Any special plans?”

“Non, just- just relaxing. They also just got back from a roadie, so it’ll be nice to do nothing.”

“Well,” she said, her tight curls bouncing. “I hope you have a good break, and good game.”

“Merci,” Logan said with a smile, then sat back down in his stall after the cameras began to walk away. Beside him, Alex nudged his elbow. “Quoi?”

Alex batted his eyelashes at him and put on a horrible accent. “I’m going to go see my husbands.” He then started making kissy noises in Logan’s face.

Logan shoved him, but he was blushing. “Shut up.”

“Nutty, how does it feel? First game back of the season, and a win at that.”

Leo nodded, flicking his hair out of his eyes. “Feels good, yeah. Excited to be back on the ice with the boys.”

“Minus one special one. Your husband, Finn O’Hara, retired at the end of last season. What is he up to?”

Leo smiled and let out a laugh. “Well, right now, he’s probably anxiously tapping his toe and waiting for me to shower. Or he’s talking to Logan on the phone.” He ran a hand through his sweaty curls. “But he’s good, really. Student teaching and finishing up his Master’s this year, so he keeps himself busy.”

Marlene grinned at him. “Glad to hear. We won’t keep you from him any longer, congrats on the win.”

“Thank you.”

As soon as Leo stepped through the locker room door twenty minutes later, freshly showered and back in his suit, there were two arms around his waist picking him up. “You took so long! We have to call Logan back immediately, he wants to say hi.”

Leo just laughed and kissed the top of Finn’s head.

“Harzy, thanks for being with us here today. Should be fun to review some tape of the Lions’ playoff run so far.”

Finn slouched back slightly in his chair, fiddling with the watch Leo and Logan had gotten him for his birthday. There was an L+L inscribed on the inside, just on his pulse. He smiled at Lee and Frank. “Yeah, I’m excited to be here. My husbands are sick of my commentary at home, so this should be fun.”

Lee laughed. “I’m sure they get enough of that stuff from their coach.”

Finn shrugged with a sheepish smile. “I can’t help it. Can’t take the player out of me, I guess.”

“Sure thing,” Frank said. He turned towards the small TV they had playing some tape. “It’s been a successful post-season so far, with the Lions in the third round. And we can chalk it up, I think, to the incredible physicality they’ve been playing with these last few games. I mean, they are clean and effective, wouldn’t you say?”

Finn nodded. “For sure, absolutely. It’s been making the transition from defensive to offensive playing much smoother and definitely helped them maintain their puck possession.”

Lee nodded in agreement. “Yeah, you see that right here.” He pointed to the screen, a replay from the Lions game the night before. “Knut with that insane poke check of his right onto Walker’s stick, and then a clean check by Black on Colorado’s eighty-six. And Walker’s pass was a zinger, right to the dot where Lupin was waiting.”

“Then look how Tremblay is positioned,” Frank pointed out. “He’s just waiting by the corner of the goal to receive Lupin’s pass, and a beautiful one timer right into the back of the net.” He leaned back in his chair and looked at Finn expectantly. “Harz?”

“Hm?” Finn sat up straight, removing his hand from where he had been rubbing at the stubble on his jaw, a smitten smile on his face as he watched the playback. “Sorry, what?”

“Opinions? On what we just watched?”

“Oh.” Finn blushed. “Uh, yeah, Le’s- Knut’s pokecheck is killer, has been since I met him. And Lo- Tremblay, yeah, he’s great at… positions. Positioning.”

Alice let out an exasperated sigh from behind the camera. “Pull yourself together, O’Hara. Thank God this is pre-recorded- we can have you rewatch that clip with better analysis, please.”

“My bad.”

“We have here with us Leo Knut and Logan Tremblay, both All Stars this year hailing from the Gryffindor Lions. You two just seem to be getting better and better, even with years under your belt. Or, really, it probably is because you have so many years under your belt.”

Leo looked teasingly at the interviewer. “Are you calling us old?”

She took it in stride and laughed. “Hardly. You particularly, Leo, came into the NHL so young. How does it feel to celebrate ten years this year?”

“It feels good, honestly. I’m in this happy medium where I’ve built up a good skill set but still have some time left in the tank, you know? I’m very grateful.”

“I bet. And you, Logan, are still one of the best wingers in the League by far. I mean, your wrist shots still take people by surprise, even more than a decade into playing.”

“Ah, ouais,” Logan replied sheepishly. He felt a little warm in his suit and held Leo’s hand tighter. “Merci. Yeah, I just- I just love the game. And I always want to be better. At the end of the day, it’s just a really fun job.”

Leo squeezed his fingers three times. I love you.

Logan squeezed back four times. I love you, too. 

“Well,” the interviewer said. “It was great hanging out with you for a moment. I’d love to talk more but there’s… well-” Her face had gone a little red in amusement and her eyes flashed over their shoulders. “Looks like someone’s waiting for you rather eagerly.”

Logan turned his head and saw Leo do the same. Behind them, off to the side, stood Finn, arms crossed and tapping his fingers against his elbows. He was looking over expectantly, but his expression changed to mischief when he saw the cameras pointing at him. He made a face, sticking his tongue out, and waved. Leo let out an amused laugh and Logan grinned, leaning further into his side.

“Looks like it,” Leo said. He turned to the interviewer and the crew. “Thanks, guys, really. We’ll see you at skills tomorrow.”

“See you!”

They waited until the cameras were pointing away- for now- and then Logan tugged Leo along to go stand by Finn. Other families were waiting there, a little off to the side from the main section of the red carpet. Finn smiled as they approached and held out his arms to wrap around Logan’s waist. “‘Sup, hubbies.”

Leo flicked the side of his head then kissed it. “You interrupted their interview.”

“Mm, sorry,” Finn mumbled against Logan’s mouth as he pressed slow kisses to it. “You were too far away. I missed you.”

Logan kissed him once more, deep and longing, before pulling away. He tugged on Finn’s hair playfully. “You’re so impatient, mon amour.”

Finn pouted. “You’re so mean to me.”

“Oh my God,” Leo said in fond exasperation. When Finn turned his famous pout and puppy dog eyes on him, he kissed him quickly. “What are we gonna do with you, you needy thing?”

“That’s Logan.”

“No, it’s really not.” Leo kissed his cheek. “At least not today.”

“I can’t help that I just love you so much.” He looked them both up and down. “And that you’re so hot in those suits Isha made you. Goddamn.”

Logan looked down at himself then appreciatively at Leo. Isha had done a good job, Finn was right about that. Ever since she graduated from fashion school, they’d been commissioning her for their suits, and they were better every time. Today, she’d dressed Leo in a gorgeous pink with a low-cut shirt underneath, embroidered with flowers. The signature sun she always incorporated, by Finn and Logan’s request, was stitched on the lapel of his open jacket, only visible up close. It was appropriate and formal enough for an All Stars red carpet, but still revealed enough of his smooth skin to leave something for Finn and Logan’s imaginations. 

Logan touched the gold chain hanging down between Leo’s collarbones. “You do look gorgeous.”

“Says you.” Leo took his hand and stepped back to give Logan a once over. “I mean, the color’s great, she’s so talented.”

Logan smiled down at his own purple jacket and pants, matching so well with the brown shoes he had on. Isha had said it ‘made his eyes pop’ or something like that. He wasn’t very well versed in that sort of thing, but the look Finn and Leo had each given him when he was done getting changed reaffirmed his confidence in her abilities.

Logan stood on his toes to kiss Leo gently. “Merci.” He spied movement behind Leo’s shoulder. “Allez, look, more reporters.”

“Oh, fuck no.” Finn took each of their hands firmly in his. “Let’s go, let’s get you to the end and then we can be out of this hellhole. Then I’ll show you off at dinner. I made a res at a steakhouse.” He winked at them. “Sexy husbands.”

Leo and Logan smiled at each other, happy and content, and jogged after Finn.
