SPOILERS FOR DOCTOR WHO SERIES 9!

AGHHHHHHH I LOVE DOCTOR WHO SO MUCH

Once again the 12th Doctor continues to be my favorite doctor.

This season was absolutely amazing just like series 8!

I will say I was put off at first with each episode having 2 parts but I actually liked it. I think it allowed the stories to be more fleshed out and detailed. Though I still prefer the typical season format.

I really liked Heaven Sent and it has to be one of my all time favorite episodes of all time!!! Moffat killed it with that episode. The cinematography, the music, the speech at the end, the fact that it was literally just Peter Capaldi the whole episode, all of those things made it sooooooo amazing!!

I also really liked Under the Lake and Before the Flood.

My least favorite episodes of this series are probably Sleep No More and The Woman Who Lived. Like many people before me have said, Sleep No More could've been an interesting story told in a found footage style but was ultimately bogged down by a stupid plot and wasted use of the style. I absolutely hate the woman who lived because of Ashildr. The Girl Who Died is an alright Doctor Who episode but then they went ahead and ruined it. Imagine having fucking immortality and then becoming a huge asshole. She's sooooo smug about it too. I hate her. Also compared to the other 2 parters this one feels like it didn't need a part 2. They wrapped up the problem and really didn't need to go back. The Doctor never checked in on Jack, he just left him to go fuck around.

It was really fun to see the Doctor just lose it in Hellbent, seeing him so desperate is a cool exploration of his character.

I'm so sad though that Clara had to leave. She's one of my favorite companies, probably up there with Rose and Martha. I don't get why people hate Clara. She's funny and nice. Seeing Clara go feels like losing an old friend.

Murray Gold continues to be an amazing composer. I absolutely loved his scoring this season.
