Phineas Flynn is haunted as he grows up; not by his past successes or the threat of being busted, but by his boredom.

It follows him everywhere, and becomes an issue for the first time when he gets into college or university. He is brilliant, whip-smart, and beloved by his peers and professors alike. He also changes his major three times then drops out within a year. It's not that the classes are too difficult for him, it's just that he is being asked to sit still and study the same thing for days, weeks, years on end. Sitting through four full years of one thing feels like absolute torture.

It keeps following him though, into trying to find work. It's not that Phineas isn't capable, he's able to pick things up significantly more quickly than the average person. However it's nearly impossible for him to hold down a job for any extended period of time because the monotony will always get to him. The demand to do the same things over and over, and the rules, oh God the rules. Why does he need to do things by the book when he has already come up with a dozen better ways to accomplish the same task, all before their lunch break?

This frustration would probably result in Phineas ending up as a self-employed consultant/contractor, giving him the flexibility he desperately needs. His friends and family would surely help support him while it's just starting up and with how strange their world gets, there's definitely not going to be a shortage of interesting things to get involved in.

Like yes, Phineas Flynn definitely needs an ADHD diagnosis but I also can't see him medicating that much for it. My headcannon for him sees him working with it and leaning into it (with help from the people around him) and living a happy and fulfilling life.

Okay genuine question-

Heres mine (TW: ED, PAST ABUSE, PANIC ATTACKS, FAINTING, BULLYING)

okay so you guys remember when people kept asking where and who the heck Phineas's dad and ferbs mom are? Well I think Ferbs mom wasn't really the nicest lady around. Let's just say she was pretty ableist and didnt care about his autism

Speaking of autism, ferb never got diagnosed with autism until he was around 5 or 6 years old. Apparently Linda was noticing signs of Ferb being very quiet and no verbal and so she got him to a doctor and psychiatrist and they confirmed he had autism.

Also Lawrence had tried to get Ferb diagnosed professionally back in London but wasn't able to due to the ongoing divorce battle with his ex wife.

Ferb was also bullied a lot when he was a kid. In London he went to a private school and was constantly bullied for being a quiet and unusual kid. He was also bullied more when he moved to Danville because many people thought he was weird but Phineas was always there to defend him.

Ferb is known to have moments of major distress. Sometimes when hes under lots of pressure or even in a major moment he'll start crying or hyperventilate.

Ferb has to take antidepressants and anxiety medication to help himself when he becomes a teenager

Speaking of his teenage years that's where his life begins to go downhill very fast....

First he deals with his biological mother trying to come back into his life asking for sympathy but he knows this is all a trick.

Second, hes a very academic student who ends up shutting his family away from him (mostly Phineas) and does his best to focus on school. (He also develops an eating disorder because of it)

Ferb even fainted one time during a debate speech after not eating for a week and had to literally be rushed to the hospital.

This resulted with Ferb taking online school for a few weeks or so until he got better

But thankfully Ferb was able to recover from his trauma and graduates high-school along with his brother and friends

After posting this human Perry fic, another scene decided to immediately demand to be written. Apparently the plot bunnies for this au aren't just hopping, they're productive. That hasn't happened in a while. I'm gonna roll with it for as long as they do though.

Am I just shamelessly cribbing from Phineas and Ferb get busted? Yes. But that episode's great and as a Perry angst starting point it's hard to top literally having nightmares about having his own agency break into his home and break up his family.

“Hey Mom, could you drop me and Stacy off at the movies today?”

“I suppose so.  What are you two planning to see?  I thought you already saw the new Mermaid’s Mysterious Melodies movie last week.”

“Mom, that movie’s for babies.”

“I liked it!” Phineas piped up from where he was burying his waffle under a pile of banana slices.  “Didn’t you like it Ferb?”  Ferb nodded.

“See?”  Candace waved a hand in Phineas and Ferb’s direction.  “Babies.  We’re going to go see Shadowed Magics.”

“Hold up.  Isn’t that movie PG13?”

“Yeah, so?”

“So, I’m not sure I’m comfortable having you go see such a mature movie.”

“But mom, I’m twelve!  That’s practically thirteen, which is practically an adult!”

“Yeah, well practically doesn’t cut it.  I don’t want you seeing it without adult supervision.”

“But– But–”

Lawrence looked up from the newspaper to give Candace an encouraging smile.  “Cheer up Candace.  We can all have a family movie day next week when summer vacation starts.”

“Neat!”  Phineas cried.  “Hey Ferb, do you think we could create a super jumbo popcorn maker that makes giant popcorn?”  The boys had both grown in leaps and bounds as inventors the last few months.  In a year or two their inventions would be truly impressive.  And Perry fought enough mad and evil scientists that he knew impressive.

But that didn’t solve Candace’s problem.  He churred, getting the rest of the table’s attention. ‘I can take Candace and Stacy.’

“Oh Perry that’d be wonderful!”

Candace let out a loud groan.  “Uncle Perry’s so lame!”

“Candace, that’s not very nice.”  Linda shot him an apologetic smile, and Perry just shrugged.  He liked being lame Uncle Perry.

“But he’s so boring.”

“Well I’ve got that got that gardening symposium and your father has his lecture at the university, so it’s boring Uncle Perry or nothing.”

‘Late morning meeting.  Should be finished by 3.’  That should give him plenty of time to blow up whatever and whoever Monogram sends him after.  ‘I could take you two to get food after.’

“I guess that would be o–”

The back door shattered.  Masked, armored men swarmed through the breach.  The front door shattered.  The windows.  More men.  Armed.  Linda shrieked.  Noise from all sides.  Orders being yelled.  Safeties clicking off.

Perry shoved the kids protectively behind him.  Two men seized Lawrence, halfway out of his seat, hauling him the rest of the way up.  Linda did a little better thanks to her self-defense classes, managing to break the hold of the first one to attack her before two more grabbed her arms.  “Mom!  Dad!  Let go of them!”  Perry yanked Candace back.  The first one to go for the kids he punched hard enough to send him flying across the room.  The next got sent through one of the few unbroken windows.  A third one stepped up to take his place.  A small hand curled into the back of Perry’s shirt.  He backed up further.  A corner was bad.  A corner was really, really bad.  But a corner was the only place they couldn’t snatch his kids from behind.  He needed a weapon.  The knife block was on the other side of the table.  Why did he push them this way?

“Stand down Agent P.”

No.  No no no no.

Major Monogram came striding into the room.  “Great Googly Moogly, couldn’t you have been a bit less reactionary Agent P?  The agency doesn’t have an unlimited amount of people for you to smack around all willy-nilly you know.”

“Agency?”

“Oh, right, introductions.  My bad.  My name is Major Monogram of OWCA, and I’m here to tell you the exciting news that we’ve finally figured out a use for you three!”

“A use!?  Stay away from our kids!”

“They’re not your kids anymore, they’re our assets.”

“We never agreed to be assets!”  Candace shrieked.

Monogram threw back his head and laughed.  “Hahahaha!  Oh, you silly children, that doesn’t matter!  They’ve been ours since before you were born.  Your handler’s been in charge of you since he first found you.  We told him to integrate himself into your family and integrate he did!”  He walked up to Perry and saluted him before grabbing his hand to shake.  “And I must say Agent P, you’ve done an excellent job.”

“Uncle Perry?”  Perry had never heard Phineas’s voice sound so small.  He turned to look at the kids.  Phineas and Ferb were huddled together, staring up at him.  Ferb’s fingers were still tangled in Perry’s shirt although his hand had gone limp.  “You’ve been spying on us?”  Perry flinched.  Phineas’s eyes went flat and broken.  Candace shoved the boys protectively behind her.

“Yes, Agent P’s been reporting on you three to us for years!  And the reports he’s been sending in have gotten interesting!  You boys are becoming quite the inventors!  We’ve decided to hand you to our science department, doing the projects we assign you and nothing else, making inventions for us, not seeing the sun for days or sometimes even months at a time.  It’ll be great!  And Candace, you’re practically thirteen, which is practically an adult!  A perfect age to begin training to be sent out into the field!  We’re moving you to an agency building where you’ll begin working immediately.”

 “You’re not taking us anywhere!” Linda yelled, struggling against the men holding her.

“Of course not.  Only Phineas, Ferb, and Candace are assets.  You two aren’t, and therefore are not our problem.”  He waved at the agents.  “Take them away somewhere they won’t get in the way.”

“Mom!  Dad!”

“Kids!”

Phineas darted under his arm, sprinting after Linda and Lawrence.  Perry made a mad lunge to grab him before another agent could get to him.  “Phineas!  Let go of him!”  Ferb yelled.  Candace tugged Ferb forcefully back but it was too late.  Perry had moved out of the way to reach Phineas and agents grabbed them, wrenching them apart.

“Ferb!  Candace!  No!”

Perry lurched upright bed, choking on a gasp.  His hand reached for a weapon without any conscious input from the rest of him. He’d never been so upset at his choice to keep the closest weapon across the room. Helpful  when the boys snuck in but right now he needed a weapon in his hand.

By the time he reached the drawer he’d calmed down enough to no longer be in a blind panic.  Bypassing his larger blades, he pulled out his pocket knife, the orange one the kids gave him last Christmas.  He turned it over in his hands, remembering how excited they were when he opened the box.

Candace’s room was first.  He cracked open the door and cleared inside. Candace was asleep, curled around her giant ducky Momo, plush next he appeared in on the boys.  Phineas was tucked under his blanket so only a tuft of bright orange hair was visible, while Ferb was sprawled out, blanket, half falling off the bed.  The knot of tension in his chest didn’t loosen exactly, it never loosened, but it did recede far enough for him to like he wasn’t about to hyperventilate or break down.

His kids were all safe. It was just a bad dream.

Just a bad dream, and nothing else.

For now.

Leaving the bedroom doors cracked, he slipped down the hall to his spot and pulled out his knife to wait for morning.  He’d slip back into his room right before anyone else got upand put this whole stupid thing behind him.

There was the click of a light turning on down the hall.  Before he could work himself up he heard Linda mumbling to herself followed by a door opening and muffled footsteps.  He slipped his knife into his pajama pocket and leaned back against the wall.

“Stupid acid reflux.  I knew I never should have–  Hello?  Who‘s there?”

Perry chittered in greeting.

“Oh good, for a second I thought somebody had broken in.  This is what I get for choosing a murder mystery for my pick with book club.  I see I’m not the only one who couldn’t sleep tonight. If I’d known the pie eating contest was going to give me this much trouble for so long I never would have entered.”

Perry grinned, the expression only half forced, fondness pushing away some more of that ever-present tension.  ‘Have to defend your title.’

“You got me there.”  She glanced up and down the hall.  “So are we just standing in a dark hallway?”  Perry reached over and flipped the switch for the stair light, flooding the area with a golden glow.  Linda cocked an eyebrow at him.  “And I suppose I’m just supposed to pretend you weren’t standing in the dark for however, long before I woke up.  This is the third time this month I’ve woken up to find you standing guard in the hallway.  You know, you might nap the day away less if you actually slept at night.”

He brought his right pointer finger in front of his nose and brought it down and out, twisting his hand so his plan faced his chest.

“Well I’m not doing that great on that front either.  But the difference is I go make myself a cup of tea while you lurk in the hallway all night.”

Perry shrugged.  He wasn’t getting back to sleep no matter what he did, so he might as well stand guard.  Instead of heading down to the kitchen like she’d said, Linda came over and leaned against his shoulder.  “Ever since you first moved in, you come to this one spot every time you’ve woke up.  I’ve always wondered, just what is it about this spot that makes it so special?”

Because this spot was a choke point he could hold down to fight anyone coming after his kids.  Because from here was the quickest path to grab all three kids and get out.  Because with their bedroom doors cracked if he strained his hearing and focused like he’d been trained to do since he was practically Candace’s age he could hear all three of the kids breathing.  Because half a foot to his left hidden behind a DNA and passcode locked panel was a meticulously packed go bag and the only gun he kept in the actual house.

He shrugged again, gesturing around at the rather boring-looking stretch of hallway, and giving a thumbs up.

“I see.  It’s a very nice stretch of hallway,” Linda said in the tone of voice she used when she was humoring someone who was talking nonsense.  “But each to their own I suppose.  I’m going to go make that cup of tea.”  Perry cocked his head at her and chittered questioningly.

Linda smiled.  “Wondering why I’m letting you off the hook?”  Perry nodded.  He’d fully expected her to try to chivy him back to bed or down to the kitchen with her.  She reached up and brushed a block of his bed head back into place.  “You’re 26 years old.  As much as I’d love to make you take care of yourself, you’re a full grown adult capable of making your own bad decisions.  But what I can do is bring you up a cup of tea.”  Leaning in she kissed his cheek before continuing, “And I expect you to drink it mister.”

Chuckling, Perry saluted.  Some people were not to be disobeyed, and a protective Linda Flynn was one of them.

Linda padded down the hall and out of sight.  Perry tracked the sound of her movements until she reached the kitchen.  Leaning back against though wall he let his focus turn back to the kids. They were all still sleeping peacefully.

They were safe, they were happy, they had never even heard of the name OWCA.

And heaven help anyone who tried to change that.

Although Bruce and Alfred didn't want take Phineas and Ferb in but Bruce thought in moment of weakness about his parents and how they where taken him in moments notice if Alfred didn't take him he would of been lost so Bruce agrees to let live here under strick rules. for them not to matter since Phineas and Ferb find the bat cave ten minutes after moving in.

Phineas can speak to mute people fluently it freaks everyone how he knows what Cass is saying without her even using sign language even Bruce who's fluent in body language is surprised how good Phineas is

Hello!!! I've been getting back into Phineas and Ferb after growing up on it (and therefore lurking in the fandom for the first time) and it's been wild. There's so much great stuff but also some very interesting takes? And surprising hate sometimes?? But regardless that's not important because this ask is for YELLING ABOUT HOW COOL AND AWESOME YOU ARE

Seriously, your PnF stuff brings me an incredible amount of joy. The art style alone is so wonderful, it's a perfect blend of personality and stylization with the distinct traits of the characters.

But I really want to thank you for the headcannons you have because oh my god. I've been rewatching the show, and now that I'm older I'm a little more critical of it (for better or for worse) which has applied in particular to Act Your Age. I love the idea of the gang growing up but that episode just doesn't sit with me that well. And your comics of the PnF crew growing up together have brought me catharsis I didn't know I needed

In my head I've always thought of Phineas as aroace because I am desperate for representation and also he reminds me a lot of my younger self (looking back as a diagnosed neurodivergent engineering major going into the arts, I see why lol). However I also have always wanted a happy ending for Isabella and for her to get her dream romance.

And holy shit dude butch trans Buford is INCREDIBLE. It never even crossed my mind but after looking through your stuff, thank you for giving us this brainworm I absolutely adore them I'm actually vibrating hdncbdhnshs I love the idea of him with Isa it's actually insane???? Look I support the Baljeet/Buford shippers but I feel like the personalities of Isa and Buford stand up to each other so much better now that it's in my head.

Also after I grew to realize that the age gap between Ferb and Vanessa is rather concerning, I was pretty at a loss for what to do with my two favs from childhood, and so I started shipping Stanessa after a while.... So thank you for your service (aka drawing Stanessa art). It's the best (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)

Sorry for all the rambling, I don't send asks often but your stuff is just so incredible and has contributed so much to the blorbos in my brain that I just had to let you know!! It's honestly inspired me to possibly start making art for PnF. I wish you the best!!!

- when theyre on a walk and guy's talking to honey or telling a story to them, he tends to look at them (like walk backward or just not look in the direction theyre going) so he has a tendency to nearly hit poles/trees/streetlamps etc.

- honey formed a habit of just instinctively reaching out to guy by his arm or hand to get him out of the way when hes about to bump into something

- there was one time when honey grabbed guy by the waist to pull him away from a pole and guy is just......left flustered and stuttering, forgetting whatever the tea he was gossping to them

Hello! I was wondering if you have any fireside girls headcannons or thoughts or who's your favorite or pretty much anything at all I just love them so much

Thanks for the ask! My favorite Fireside Girl has been Katie ever since I was a little kid watching the show for the first time, because we have almost the same name. I ALSO love the Fireside Girls and wish we had gotten to spend more time with them as individuals and learn their personalities. Maybe in the revival? *crosses fingers*

I love Adyson being Isabella's second in command but also extremely accident prone, I love Holly mocking Ginger's interest in Baljeet, I love Gretchen being a Zombie Apocolypse survival expert, I love that once Milly went back to Phineas and Ferb's house after everyone else went home, and apparently brings this up all the time.

As for headcanons, here's one off the top of my head for you: whenever the girls are on a patch-earning expedition and need a quick emergency ride, they call Candace (once she gets her license). She's technically a Fireside Girl, so getting her help isn't cheating, and she pretends to be annoyed by it but secretly loves to be helpful and appreciated.

Phineas and Ferb headcanon

Ferb is a god of chaos. How can Phineas afford all those materials? Ferb mind control. How did they tell Sergei happy birthday even though he was in another dimension or smth, astral projection. If you think about it this is gotta be a very silly but cool headcannon. Phineas being inventive, and Ferb enabling the creativity of his brother by providing what's needed to make it. And by all accounts, maybe he influences why the cartoon logic happens, and why everything vanishes via status quo.

We all learned from the MML episode The Phineas and Ferb Effect that Phineas and Ferb have positive probability ions while Milo Murphy has negative respectively.

What if...

Linda Flynn-Fletcher has the ability to de-magnetize any ions produced by others?

It might possibly explain why every evidence of the boy's activities for the day miraculously disappears before she can even see it.

Therefore. If she was around someone such as Milo or Martin Murphy, she could potentially temporary neutralize the effcts of Murphy's law.
