Tiny thank you message. I'm minorly obsessed with the way you draw faces. Mouths especially. I keep studying those images and wondering how on earth you're packing so much emotion into those faces. One day I might figure out how to do something similar in my own art. In the meantime, I'm going to keep adoring your work.
Thank you thank you>< Drawing expressions is kind of a special interest for me hehe I'm always trying to see if I could tell and show MORE with just a characters face. Outside of context of words and plot. I'm glad you like it:3

i don’t have any useful opinion on the whole ‘did charles cheat’ discourse because…frankly idc about deux moi even a little bit and i find it to be a function of societal decay and maybe that’s gonna get me booed in a big way, maybe that’s a bad take but i will say the deux moi blind item made me CACKLE because it said something about “an f1 driver” (charles) had a “fun night in melbourne”. bro charles and lewis were trying not to kill themselves after melbourne. they put my kings + oscar piastri on a 72 hour psych hold. after the rain setup in quali and the one lap delay to switch to inters??? yeah im sure the ‘fun’ was trying not to commit mass murder-

Huh, I don’t think I ever posted about the color-related coping mechanism I use
Basically I give myself three options for colors, one bright (orange, red, etc.), one easily found in nature (green, brown, etc.), and one neutral (white, black, grey). It’s okay if you need someone to help you choose!
Once I pick a color I look around wherever I am in that moment and try to list off things of the color I chose
You don’t have to count unless you want to, and it works almost anywhere!
If it doesn’t work the first time, that’s okay! You can do it a few more times (assuming it proves helpful for you. Everyone is different so it’s possible it won’t work for all)
I find it most helpful for anxiety, dissociation, and hallucinations
I also found this on my own, and outside of therapy
Sorry for the wall of text, I hope you’re all well!

Still not used to this life or death situation stuff. That's good, 'cause I'm not either. You never get used to it.

Never getting over Fulcrum being a project manager...
Idk why, but something about that is so funny to me. Not just because the title of "project manager" is inherently kinda funny for a Decepticon, but also because-
1. It's vague sounding and hard to explain irl because it technically exists in multiple fields, like healthcare or manufacturing, which surely translates into canon in some way.
2. In canon, it's simultaneously a really mundane, innocuous sounding job, yet it's also a super morally awful position to reside over depending on the context. (*cough* forced colonization and cyberforming *cough*)
And 3. It solidifies the fact that behind all the surface level militaristic work we get with both the Decepticons and Autobots, there's also Cons and Bots with "normal" jobs in both factions.
Like, sure yeah we get scientists and doctors, engineers and programmers, but usually in big important or warfront positions. (For plot reasons, understandably.) But it's also really funny and interesting to think of those that worked background positions, or minor jobs.
Like an Autobot working in their equivalent of an HR department, or a Decepticon who runs one of their outpost's or starship's kitchens.
Just all the pre-war jobs that didn't just disappear with the war, but instead evolved to exist within the factions.
It's particularly funny with the Decepticons though, because it could be a super mundane job or situation, but because it's them, it has to have an air of ~e v i l~ to it, either legitimately and/or merely for the vibes, like Tarn's "performance reviews".
#theres this one comedy thing. a think its from that like. puppet comedian dude??? cant remember the name rn-#-buts theres a bit about a person in the crowd being a project manager and how silly the job sounds#at some point the person the project manager is with gets pointed out when the comedian asks smth along the lines of-#-''is he a project you're managing? he looks pretty managed to me.'' smth smth. thats fulcrum and the scavs to me#idw fulcrum#fulcrum#mtmte#tf idw#idw tarn#tarn#transformers#maccadam#Decepticons being cartoonishly evil while doing mundane shit will never not be funny to me#'i need to send an evil email to my evil boss about an evil supply chain issue involving my evil workers evil rations and evil mail'#<- fulcrum#sorry. yes he is a tragic yet simultaneously silly guy. but i will never not shut up about his stupid awful job#''he's a project manager!'' oh yay :D! ''he's overseeing the destruction and forced cyberformation of a whole planet'' ...what#not saying he deserved being turned into a bomb. but i think a solid uhh maybe 1000+ organics get a free chance to spit on him or smth#get his ass lmao. i swear hes one of my favs. its just he is objectively an asshole. and i must speak on it bcs i love him#sort of unrelated. but along the same vein of jobs and positions in the Decepticons. ive been trying to puzzle out Krok and Fulcrum's ranks#and. it might not be accurate. idk what sort of ranking system bullshit is going on in canon. so im going off what i know#but. im figuring krok was some sort of warrant-esque officer? aka. he was a general solider. who worked his way up through skill to NCO-#-then specialized in strategy to the point of becoming a warrant officer for strategy and studies. so. higher than NCO but lower than CO#so on the other hand. fulcrum is a CO. bcs he wasnt a solider. he was a technician. but also in advanced management. so. CO???#for irl comparison. NCO/Warrant = worked towards over time from low ranks. CO = fast tracked bcs of formal education or smth#(take the irl comparison with a grain of salt. im not an expert on that shit. i just considered becoming a CO bcs of pressure once)#((CO in this context stands for commissioned officer. not commanding officer btw. so. its like management shit))#(not that i think cons have commissions or anything. just using the terminology as a place holder or smth ig)#who outranks who is debatable bcs canon doesn't specify rank. but if going off this as a basis. fulc would outrank krok by a technicality#but. assumedly. battle experience is seen as more impressive and noteworthy to cons. so its more likely krok outranked fulc bcs of that

My initial experience going from Origins to Awakening. 😎 Oh I'm sure I'll get my butt handed to me as I progress further but for now I'm savoring my OP-ness.

Notes on Scott’s Wild Life 3 POV
In summary: our gaslight king controlling the narrative as usual, what an icon.
Scott has very economical editing, having one of the shorter POVs, yet takes care to include several instances of being nice to Pearl (noticed this when he left in giving Pearl food, both at the beginning and when they were building the new castle together). However, he left out the session routine of chastising Impulse and Pearl for picking fights with Gem/Joel (seen in Pearl’s POV), only including warning a freshly yellow Pearl to not try to kill them.
Scott doesn’t die this episode. Notably, his main contributions to base building are simply moving materials from one chest to the other — a very safe activity when being pursued by a snail. Gem and Joel who also avoided snail death built in a wide open area, and the other no-snail-deaths generally forgoed building and dangerous activity altogether (although, RIP Lizzie for surviving mining only to be Skizz’d). All this to say: Scott wasn’t playing sweaty, he still took risks, but they were very small and calculated.
Scott doesn’t include a lot of the Spanners antagonizing GGGG. Partly because they failed and it’s not very interesting to just see Scott looking at the dirt for Mumbo and Grian digging, or warily watching Skizz from 15 blocks sway. But I also think he’s building a villain narrative for Pearl and Impulse and having other groups wrong GGGG would upset that balance. Though, this point is my most tinfoil hat theory.
Scott, Cleo, and Impulse half-heartedly warn Etho of an approaching creeper, sort of totally 100% causing his death. They all celebrate, Cleo and Impulse both breaking into delighted cackles, however Scott calls Impulse out on taking more glee from Etho’s death than the other two. He’s taking care to point out any villainous behavior in Impulse/Pearl, justifying his own negative behavior towards them and painting himself as a long suffering yet loyal teammate. He does this every season, and I eat it up every time — although he’s particularly negative towards Imp and Pearl compared to, say, Martyn.
Related, Scott is stressing how put together and connected GGGG is. He’s complimenting all of them and turning to the camera to gloat about how they’re not gonna fall apart. This session didn’t leave a lot of room for Impulse and Pearl to prove him wrong, but even then he’s doing the prep work to make it their fault if/when the divorce happens. This is made easier by his reputation as a good and loyal teammate combined with Impulse’s and especially Pearl’s fandom reputation as instigators. (And to an extent, yes, they are both consciously approaching WL with a “cause problems on purpose” mission.)
But I can’t ignore every time Scott badmouths their decisions to other people and denounces their actions as suspicious/villainous. That sort of behavior only makes him look better instead of strengthening his whole team: if he really believed in GGGG, he’d be lying on their behalf and definitely not calling them out for picking fights. Just as Cleo didn’t back up Pearl when she tried to poison Gem, Scott is actively making his teammates look worse. And I fear he might get away with it.
I love Smajor and watch his perspective as a fan! I think he intentionally plays “the social game” like this: partly to make it more interesting, and partly because he enjoys the chaos. And really, who doesn’t?

I actually LIKED that Regis didn’t have as much of a menacing presence as the other principals. Because he technically isn’t! He’s a janitor, he usurped the real principal. It sort of felt like he was scrambling around the school trying to get his plans in motion, like he was floundering in the best way possible. It genuinely felt interesting how… disjointed the schools operations felt! Especially at the point in the story we’re in where we’re sorta breaking down the elementary school operations one by one
We weren’t MEANT to be getting all these kids shuffled around and lab’s destroyed. It’s only been 2 days of the week, and we’re working so very fast. Regis was just one of the people trying to pick up the pieces, especially with all the mentions of losing his job. This is his job he’s just some kind of lackey who wants to feel big

one key takeaway from f175: and i mean this completely seriously, can we maybe stop hitting on charles leclerc specifically at these events? like, that's the f1 meme (not even really a meme) that i'm really fucking over. it's weird to talk about you and your fiance thinking about charles leclerc when you're fucking. on live television. jack whitehall. like genuinely the things they say about charles leclerc sometimes if they were saying about a woman would get reactions like an onstage war crime – it's not chill just cos charles is a dude. he's the most objectified driver for the cheap laugh and sometimes it genuinely takes away attention from what a good fucking driver he is.
maybe i'm taking it too seriously but this stuff also contributes to the epidemic of cl16 fans having to defend from the 'oh you only like him cos he's hot' accusation, cos that's the only personality f1 media LETS HIM HAVE.

Will I count it even though no one got eaten this time?
Yeah.

if you're someone who wants to get into drawing but lack motivation bc of how daunting it seems to make good art, the pewdiepie drawing videos are genuinely SUCH a great watch because i think his process as a beginner was kinda perfect. in the first vid, he just gets a regular sketchbook and tries to copy pictures of anime characters. a lot of people are told to start with the fundamentals, but the fundamentals are genuinely boring as shit so of course you won't feel motivated to do it. besides that, there's also a lack of focus when people just want to learn all the fundamentals before going into stylization... so in addition to drawing something that's genuinely fun, he was also able to prioritize and focus on one thing-- anime faces. Anime faces, especially when using reference, don't take that long to learn. And once you draw something you kinda like, that motivates you even more and is eventually what leads to making great art. i've rlly found this to be true for myself, my art was so stagnant when i tried to do studies and fundamentals - _- i'm so serious when i say drawing self-indulgent piegustas were when i saw my most drastic improvement. i'm mostly talking from the perspective of a hobby artist and not a professional... i also really like that post that said the most important skill for a beginner artist to practice is frustration tolerance
