Danny gets experimented on by either his parents or the GIW and dies over and over and over again but because of his unusual ghostly creation he keeps coming back and with each return he changes. Originally the changes with each death were subtle. His skin would be a shade greyer, his flesh would be tougher, his powers a bit stronger.

Then the changes became far more apparent, the deaths reaching past the multiple thousands. He’s grown and he’s grown a lot. His skin is grey and spikes protrude over his being. His face no longer resembles what he once was, now a terrifying being with razor sharp teeth and spines imitating a beard jutting out of his jaw (wait how long has he been doing this? Has it been THAT long? Surely not.) Danny just wishes he could be free, not to be put under simulated trials over and over and dying again and again.

The Justice League heard word of unusual power disruption and reports of unethical experimentation at an absolutely massive underground research facility. Superman chose to lead the charge, rounding up scientists and directing other league members to find the server room and to find, collect, and then destroy all research this group might have found.

Going deeper and deeper into the research facility, there are dozens upon dozens of inhuman entities in massive glowing green vats, all of which seemingly in a comatose state.

At the farthest and most secure part of the facility, having broken through dozens of secure locks, doors, and security drones, Superman comes across the largest containment of all; one holding a being hooked up to dozens of monitors and in a similar comatose state as the others, the beast within is someone Superman knows very very well. Doomsday.

YOU CAN'T IMAGINE HOW CLOSE HE IS TO A SITUATION, AND HE DOESN'T EVEN WEAR A HAT OR GLOVES, and he's definitely tactile and would think it's cute when nihilego will try to cling onto him (especially with a hc that the most of neurotoxin is concentrated in the bell and at the ends of the tentacles)

Like Tucker summoning a literal storm & getting lightning charged, or Sam fully emerging from the caves, or Valerie unearthing herself and the team realizing the entire dungeon-city was On Her Back.

redrew a bunch of angels from like pre-2020 cause I was thinking bout em today :) The bottom girlies are lesbian angels and I still love their designs :)

SPOILERS FOR S18 BELOW!!!

My initial thoughts on s18 ep5:

We obviously know that Ronald Graber isn't the disciple but I need to hear the message the disciple wants Voit to hear. I think it might be "Hell is empty and all the devils are here" because that's the title for the next two episodes and we hear Voit say that in a voiceover in one of the trailers.

JJ essentially having group therapy with Voit is so funny to me.

I like Dr. Ochoa a lot more in this episode than I did in the previous one. She still annoys me a little but I think she's an interesting character.

This episode had one of my favorite formats which is a member of the BAU (or multiple members) retelling the case to someone else. It's such a fun way to switch things up and we haven't seen it in evolution until now.

AJ's acting in this episode was top tier. I need her to get some sort of recognition for her work this season because she's been absolutely amazing.

The conversations about grief and the way JJ's situation blends with the case was so perfect. It felt so real and meaningful. I love that JJ is actually facing her trauma instead of pushing it down like she normally does.

Andrew Mendoza wanting to have a threesome with JJ and Emily is so insane. That was such a random thing to mention. I think they realized they forgot to explain what happened to Emily and Andrew's relationship between og show and evolution.

This might be my favorite episode of the season so far! Waiting a week for the next episode is going to be impossible.

no the fact that it's more efficient to breathe oxygen from the air rather than oxygen in water through gills is NOT why whales and other secondarily aquatic organisms "still have lungs".

they still have lungs because they evolved from ancestors that had lungs and did not have gills. evolution does not work towards an intended goal, it can only work upon that which you already have. the efficiency describes the way they interact with their aquatic environment and habitat compared to their neighbors who do have gills. do not get it mixed up.
