Maybe the most important advancements came in projectile technology, such as the invention of the bow and arrow, sometime in the last one hundred thousand years.

The "Tarot Projectile"
Approved For Release 2025/01/30 5SD-RDP-1379827082
Tumblr media
1000 of these projectiles were produced and lastly stored in an antistatic bag. Each projectile has 5 components such as two black and red half-spheres and a cover/sleeve that encases a ██████████ within a 1,2mm diameter tube and prevents it from reacting with the ███████. The empty space witin the ball is to be filled with a ███████ that ██████ with the ███████. The material of all components, except the ███████████ is ABS. The weight of each projectile (with ███████) was measured to to at about 1 - 1,5 grams. Without ███████, each "casing" weights about 0,7 grams in total. These projectiles were made to be fired by a ███ caliber ███ handgun. Upon impact, these projectiles create ████ and ██████ the target that hit with it if the target is █████████. These projectiles can be used for both defensive and offensive purposes. Although this ammo has has a very low value for covert operations, it is deemed to be effective for targets within a short range, but heavily influenced by air resistance and wind due to its low weight. None of these balls have been used in real life situations except within the confines of our indoor and outdoor testing grounds. Approximately 1 of 10 balls would initially misfire or explode within the gun's barrel in V1, which is why they needed further adjustments - sealing them in vacuum would keep the shells together more firmly, reducing its misfiring rate to about 1 in 100 (V2). Other variations of these projectiles have been created and tested (V3A, V3B,V3C). See document ██████████ for further details and test results.

Reroute Projectiles
Level 6 Conjuration
With a flick of your wrist, arrows, bolts, and even spells veer off course, defying physics itself. What was meant to slay you now becomes your weapon—turning foes' attacks against them in an elegant display of gravitational mastery.
How would you use this spell—pure defense or the ultimate reversal?

In the following decades the metal's engineering possibilities became clearer, but its price remained a problem. Witness the discussion which follows Barbicane's suggestion that it be used to fashion the space capsule in Jules Verne's "From the Earth to the Moon":
"Aluminium?" cried his three colleagues in chorus.
"Unquestionably, my friends. This valuable metal possesses the whiteness of silver, the indestructibility of gold, the tenacity of iron, the fusibility of copper, the lightness of glass. It is easily wrought, is very widely distributed, forming the base of most of the rocks, is three times lighter than iron, and seems to have been created for the express purpose of furnishing us with the material for our projectile."
"But, my dear president," said the major, "is not the cost price of aluminium extremely high?"
"It was so at its first discovery, but it has taken now to nine dollars a pound."
"But still, nine dollars a pound!" replied the major, who was not willing readily to give in; "even that is an enormous price."
"Undoubtedly, my dear major; but not beyond our reach."

PSA to SSBU players who despise Mii Gunner
i was originally going to just upload this to twitter, then i forgot i could directly upload videos to here
(side note: most character dash attacks and aerials go right through grenade, depending on the positioning and hitbox/hurtbox placement. grenade also has massive start-up, so if you get a good read on when a grenade is coming out, and you’re close enough, you can just hit the gunner for daring to throw it out unsafely. please punish gunners for bad grenades so we can improve)
also i tried to upload the video file directly here but tumblr said no. apologies, still new to the site

Just a cute lil thought:
Since Bruce's kids all love to play around and hide in his cape as Robins, I wonder if he makes them blankets out of the same materials as his cape so they can have a piece of security when Bruce isn't there?
I remember in Dick and Jason's older comics (correct me if I'm wrong), they used to stay up late waiting for Bruce when he'd go out as Batman alone, so I'm gonna take this as confirmation that all his kids have done this at some point.
So now I'm totally gonna hc that in order to encourage his kids to not stay up late for him or as a way to help them feel more safe and secure when he's not there, he makes them all blanket replicas of his cape for them to snuggle with :')
And also just imagine his kids all grown up, and they STILL have the blankets with them, regardless of if they've moved out.

Problem 6-8: An integrated problem involving circular motion, momentum, and projectile motion
When kicking a football, the kicker rotates his leg about the hip joint. (a) If the velocity of the tip of the kicker’s shoe is 35.0 m/s and the hip joint is 1.05 m from the tip of the shoe, what is the shoe tip’s angular velocity?
Integrated Concepts When kicking a football, the kicker rotates his leg about the hip joint. (a) If the velocity of the tip of the kicker’s shoe is 35.0 m/s and the hip joint is 1.05 m from the tip of the shoe, what is the shoe tip’s angular velocity? (b) The shoe is in contact with the initially stationary 0.500 kg football for 20.0 ms. What average force is exerted on the football to give it…
