Anyone else think Susie's first love might be Julie?

Because I definitely do.

Another reason is the cover picture. Every picture on Susie's lockers shows her with girls. Most of the girls in Susie's pictures have a red x on their faces, which I think are her exes. (Feng was one of those exes, me thinks!) All except the picture in her hand, which has a girl that strongly resembles Julie.

Based on her locker photos, we can probably assume that Susie's sexuality leans towards girls.

There's also the way that Susie is looking at Julie in this picture from an earlier comic about the Legion. She looks like she's enchanted by Julie, leaning forward as if to get up to be closer to her.

What are things that tie Susie and her first kill together with the Realm of the Entity?

The Legion, a group she's in with her best friend, Julie. Julie, who was also there during her first kill because it was the Legion's first kill. Seeing as she is Susie's best friend, we can guess that Julie is probably the person she feels most closest to. Being that Susie is likely into girls and Julie being the only other girl in the Legion, we can maybe assume that Julie is that first love eternally intertwined with her first kill.

because SUSIE remembers him. she wrote alvin the letter from him. she fought him and won and came back to look for him. because now he's in her memories, too.

following that logic, of course ralsei is in her memories too. more prominently, too, each time she returns to an adventure. he strays further from the blurry memories kris has, into something that's both theirs and hers

and, while we're at it, maybe ours, too. we shape him with our choices because we're part of this team too

it's so amusing that when you're an author who is like any minority, you have this caveat where if your book gets banned, you kinda have to mentally acknowledge whether it was banned by Bruce, the one really bigoted guy who wastes everyone's time in florida. idk how bruce is doing. you don't need to learn who he is really which is why im not using his surname. but if you have a book out commercially, bruce has probably written "damaged souls" on a form about you. so there's a street cred element to all this like did people really have a vendetta against your work...? or was it just bruce again

how initially nikki seems pretty caught off guard by being puppeted around, and almost like she's in a trance? she definitely doesn't feel fully there, her movements are a lot more limp and being VERY distinctly controlled. she feels more distant, more hazy.

but then there's the point about halfway into the battle where the banshee has her hand over nikki's face, like she's still trying to control her, and nikki looks away. meets the banshee's eyes instead.

and the banshee's own expression shifts, there, too. nikki looks almost defiant, and the banshee isn't quite taken aback or surprised by that, but she doesnt seem to have anticipated it? it seems like she's curious, intrigued. seeing nikki look at her so fearlessly, even after being puppeted by her. almost like a challenge of her own.

and after that, nikki's movements shift. they feel more fluid, graceful, more like nikki is the one in control. matching the banshee's motions and her energy, no longer enthralled but choosing herself to continue the dance. they circle each other and nikki is smiling, like she's genuinely enjoying herself.

if you fail the battle, the banshee and nikki reach out to each other, but the banshee pushes forward as nikki pulls her own hand away, looking more hesitant, almost afraid again. and if you perfect it, nikki pulls away, but not out of fear. she spins again, smiling, taking a bow. enjoying herself, still. regarding the banshee as an equal, even though the banshee had been trying to subdue her.

after that perfect score, nikki, recognizing the melody. upset that the banshee is leaving. wanting to at least know her name. reaching out to her even as she disappears.

Transformers

Ok, don't ask me why, but...

Optimus dances like they did in the 50s. Classy and simple. He doesn't dance unless he knows (or thinks) no one is watching. I would like to believe, though, that he wouldn't mind dancing in front of Elita.

Imagine, in Transformers Prime...

*Miko blasts music at full volume; Bumblebee is the first to jump in and rock some epic dance moves*

*Optimus observes from a distance, then excuses himself*

*Ratchet rolls his eyes and gets back to work*

*Ultra Magnus watches in confusion*

*Arcee, Bulkhead, Jack, Raf, and Smokescreen (a terrible dancer, but he does his best) join Miko and Bumblebee*

Later, the group goes out to scout; Ratchet and Optimus hang back. Ratchet is weary from working and tells Optimus that he needs to take a quick break. He leaves the base. Optimus considers the speakers a minute. He surveys the base and double checks the cameras. Finally, he gets the speakers to work, but it switches to a different album Miko rarely plays, as she prefers rock over older music. 50s music comes on. Optimus nods his head and taps his feet. Again, he surveys the base. Then, he starts dancing the way they did in the 50s. Well, the way humans do. He's good at it. He smiles a little bit.

Meanwhile, the others get back to the base. Jack hears the music playing and throws his hand out to stop Miko before she can sprint into the room. Arcee cocks her head and wordlessly tells the others to be quiet. Ratchet peers around the corner and stares in shock. Eventually, they all stare in shock. They whisper to each other.

Smokescreen: Our leader is more impressive than we thought.

Miko: I am never deleting that album.

Not wanting to embarrass Optimus, they hang back and wait until the music stops, then casually enter. Optimus awkwardly stands to the side. The others get back to work, and Optimus gradually relaxes and asks them whether they saw anything out of the ordinary. They shake their head and converse for a bit. Miko turns the speakers on, and 50s music comes back on.

Miko: Huh. I forgot I had this album.

Optimus: It is good to extend your knowledge on a variety of... musical tastes.

Miko: You know, Optimus, if you ever did dance, I think this would fit you well.

Optimus: Hm.

Still, he smiles. The others have to hide their smiles.

Not only that, but Peter Cullen probably grew up with this kind of music.

More than just the Demon.

As much as I would love some kind of fairy tales Avengers thing, my theory is Lies of P isn't going in that direction with its storyline. Because of the books that were on the table. Everyone notices the book on the bottom is the Wizard of Oz, but not many seem to bring up the book on top of it. I suspect that book is a first edition of JM Barrie's Peter and Wendy. The green cover with a border of gold with leaves in the corners resembles the book minus the logo with the author's name. 

Because of this thought, I also think if there's a sequel game, Dorothy's not going to the MC in it. Instead, I think it will be Peter. 

As a post about what the P in Lies of P stands that I found saw on Steam, "The story about a fake little boy who lies? P stands for Peter Pan." It also makes me think that he also fits the Lies of P theme.

Though I think the P in Lies of P stands for a different entity. I think P stands for Prometheus, a god who tried to gift humanity with something that the other gods saw them unworthy of. 

In a translation of Hesiod's Works and Days, it says, "For the gods keep hidden from men the means of life. (42)"[1]. These means of life like fire, for example, were used as a tool of human advancement such as the material Ergo was for the people of Krat in Lies of P.  

And, Prometheus isn't just a god of fire and forethought,he is also a god of crafty advice. And what's something that can fall under the category of crafty advice? A lie.

My thoughts on the Roaring Knight

(they're probably not gonna be very coherent)

First of all, people so confidently pointing at Carol being the Knight are wildin'

It's Dess. But not literally. I think... The Knight was made. Possibly to carry out the prophecy, but the prophecy is at least in part bullshit. I think there is a goal, and how it gets accomplished is less important - therefore making the Knight a tool that can be thrown away if absolute need be. It's about the red soul.

As for proof? Beyond the obvious antlers/summoning a bat that turns into a sword? (Carol uses a katana while the Knight's sword is shaped like a falchion. I doubt this is a pixel restriction issue, it's like that on purpose.) In chapter 4 when the gang is chasing them they act flippant. Childish. Zooming up the stairs while grinning with their hands crossed. Can you picture The Serious Mayor doing that? Or that animalistic, beastly introduction? I can't.

I think they are made from some sort of an essence? Darkness? Of a titan and a part of Dess. I hesitate to throw around any soul ideas because the whole monster soul situation in this game is already so gooddamn weird it warrants a post of it's own. Whether that means Dess herself is somewhere else or.. merged? with it I don't know.

You know not to be nitpicky about the ch2 era(or dive into the discourse) but i think its kinda funny that despite having the gals be like main center pieces which a lot of things revolve around , pre ch3/4 (and even now tbh) you would see more discussion about dess than about Noelle. And like valid I also think about her a lot but it does feel like wanting to engage with a character that's not even here yet so ppl can project their fantasies onto than engage with the pre existing very plot relevant female character in a way that isnt thinking about how the snowgrave will ruin her. If you can write 500 think pieces on Mike fanfiction you can think about noelle more trust. Also nevermind the fact that before the new chapters the broad fandom had quite literally written Susie off as like unimportant which ??? People being surprised susie has PLOT (or than suselle actually gets development) are my villain origin story smh. Pissed me off SO bad and they were so serious about it too. Like bruh. The toxic funny yaoi men are great and I also would die for tenna but let's not forget who the game is about this time

Between plain irritation with acting like the Master could be just seamlessly reintroduced and if you don't agree then you must hate the character on the one hand, and the fact that RTD is quite obviously itching to write them again, even has a guy mourning his dead wife with Ten's line from TSOD, I think what needs to be addressed is the poetics and tonality.

Like, Fifteen clearly is upset about destruction of Gallifrey and does think of Time Lords as their people, in fact he's wearing the most Gallifreyan cultural elements on himself out of all regenerations. At the same time, RTD doesn't seem as hung up on them as a personal axis universi as the writing was keen on being recently, so I don't think the Master's eventual return will follow that path. Like, on the one hand they can't be reintroduced in a purely hostile way, because then the dynamic would be fully negative, yet at the same time it shouldn't be another "the Master only wants to be friends again". They have to be reestablished as a character with their independent selfish agenda, yet not focused solely on hating the Doctor.

I don't think any "x is actually the Master" plotline would work, just because you don't go out of your way to insert a tooth side plot in a story that has nothing to do with them, only to later use it only as a flashback after the revelation of another plot device of a chameleon arch (like, the storytelling awareness that you do in fact have to establish aspects of the lore that are relevant to the story at hand seems to be back on the menu, so you'd have to one, establish who the Master is and two, how the chameleon arch works there just aren't enough episodes) and also RTD seems to really like the idea of Time Lords sniffing each other like cats in heat. Total reset and comeback of baby Master also seems, one, like a cop out, two, also superfluous to the tooth, so for all that Belinda only having abstract "Mum and Dad", and a break up from when she was a teenager is off for RTD, I don't think this is going anywhere either.

So I think the obvious plotline for when you want to reintroduce a genius villain with a situationship with the protagonist after a major fuck up is "there's totally only one person that can help now", I mean, Belinda specifically connecting there being no other Time Lords with no one coming to help seems to nudge in this direction. Like, think Loki in the Dark World, right? Reluctant cooperation is what Thoschei Casablanca actually is! Except, the Doctor straight up doesn't know about the tooth. So we have to look to mysterious hand suddenly appearing on UNIT HQ's terrace. Still don't know who that is, the following scenario would work if this is Kate, though the tonality would be different, but for now I'm going to let my imagination loose and go with "mrs Flood is actually the daedric prince of television in the Pantheon (you get it, right? Flood, as in waves, so if the god of light controls cinema, then waves are what makes television, also mrs Flood is an anagram of, uuuh, old forms, as in old forms of communication, she popped up out of nowhere as she seems to do, and had red nails because she knows it's red fingernails that pick up the Master), and while not exactly good, she's impersonally invested in the Doctor going on as what feeds her and also ships thoschei". Ok, so with that.

I think the neatest way to get the Master back in is the penultimate episode having the Doctor taken away, perhaps trapped in another daedric realm by, ugh, Cath Palug, the monstrous cat of Welsh folklore and arthuriana. And Belinda, and Ruby, and probably some UNIT memebers (this is why Kate would work too), are all moping because, well maybe the Earth was saved but the Doctor had to sacrifice himself, and someone goes "If there was anything could be done to bring him back…", and suddenly mrs Flood is in the frame, giving the audience a jumpscare asking "Would you do it? Hmmm? What… would you? Hmmm? What would any of you be willing to do? Hmmm? Would you sail to the ends of the universe, and beyond, to fetch back clever Doctor and his precious TARDIS?", and everyone is like "Aye.", and then she goes "Alright. But if you're goin' brave the weird, and haunted shores, in the chaos outside of the universes, then… you will need a captain who knows those waters." AAAND SHE PULLS OUT THE TOOTH AND IT SAYS "So tell me, what's become of my ship?"
