Hooty watched Eda pace around the living room for what had to be about the 27th and a quarter time, arguing with herself as she went.

“I know he can take care of himself, but he almost never leaves the tower, and it’s almost been a full day!” She raked her hands through her hair, wishing it was longer for a more grounding pull. “And he’s old - what if he’s tripped on a root, or fallen off his Palisman, and hurt himself, and that’s why his still not home?”

Stomping her foot with a frustrated groan, she snapped her fingers, summoning Owlbert to her as she headed for the open door. “That’s it, I’m gonna go find him - outta the way, Hooty.”

“But he told you to watch the house!” The tube argued, looping around Eda.

“Yer a big boy house, Hooty, you can watch yourself!”

"Oh, my aching everything..." A hand rubs at one of his sides as he brings himself back up to his feet. Shortly afterwards he's up and floating about as per usual. His single eye looks around to get a feel for his new surroundings.

Evidently, draining a small pocket dimension of its energy (to regain some of his own) didn't pan out like he'd hope. The accidental implosion of said dimension must've sent him...here? Hmmm. How curious.

*Everyone is standing around the broken coffee maker*

Bradford : So. Who broke it? I'm not mad, I just wanna know.

Everyone:

Susan : ...I did. I broke it.

Bradford : No. No you didn't. Buford?

Buford : Don't look at me. Look at Bentley.

Bentley : What?! I didn't break it.

Buford : Huh, that's weird. How'd you even know it was broken?

Bentley : Because it's sitting right in front of us and it's broken.

Buford : Suspicious.

Bentley : No, it's not!

Brycen : If it matters, probably not, but Collin was the last one to use it.

Collin : Liar! I don't even drink that crap!

Brycen : Oh really? Then what were you doing by the coffee cart earlier?

Collin : I use the wooden stirrers to push back my cuticles. Everyone knows that, Brycen!

Susan : Okay let's not fight. I broke it. Let me pay for it, Bradford.

Bradford : No! Who broke it!?

Everyone:

Brycen : Bradford ... Buford 's been awfully quiet.

Buford : rEALLY?!

*Everyone starts arguing*

Bradford , being interviewed: I broke it. I burned my hand so I punched it.

Bradford : I predict 10 minutes from now they'll be at each other's throats with warpaint on their faces and a pig head on a stick.

Bradford :

Bradford : Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.

Bringing harm to his gardens and his peach bao trees. They are his pride and joy and if something were to happen to them, he could lose it. He is one to never really show anger since he does keep everything to himself and tries to not worry anyone. But if you do bring harm to his work, gardens or his peach bao's best believe he will not hold back.

A MUN ASK @running2redemption sent: what other platforms have you used to roleplay?

I mentioned it briefly in an earlier ask, but I began writing on various old forum sites like w.inx club lol and ff.net. I spent some years on IG too.

Last year or so, I was VERY active on discord, but I had to stop writing over there due to my mental health. The space wasn't great for me bc I put a higher pressure on myself to be involved in my servers and threads, especially with the instant messaging format. Pulling away was HARD.

I made the move back here to tumblr bc the posting format and queue have helped me to pace myself better.

The old buzzard-man's eyes began to flutter open again to a very familiar sight of sandstone walls and floors. He's sitting on the old couch that must have been left here from F.O.W.L. when they still ran this library. 

Oh dear, he must have dozed off again looking through files. The vulture lets out a lazy yawn before hearing, "Sleep well?" As he realized just who he'd been sleeping against... Again...

He straightened himself up rubbing his baggy old man eyes.

"Oh dear, I'm sorry, Brycen. This is becoming an awful habit."

The younger buzzard merely gave a polite smile to his older brother. "It's alright, Mr. B, I've started to get used to it."

"But still, it must be terribly inconvenient for you."

"I've mostly been reading up on these files while you were asleep anyway. I hope we can find something about you soon..."

Mr. Buzzard let out a sigh through his nostrils, he was beginning to wonder if there really *is* anything about him here. He decided to change the subject to something less frustrating.

"I had a very interesting dream, that our ages were switched and we were were frantically trying to reverse it somehow." He gave a tired chuckle, "I suppose that could never really happen though."

The younger brother grimaced at the thought, his face hardened a little before he shook the feeling away. "I wouldn't be too sure about that..." Then he gave the old man a curious glance. "Mr. B, would you want to become a younger man? That is if that's what you dream about..."

Mr. B just shrugged, "I'm not sure, I've never been young before as far as I know. Must be nice though, to have all that extra energy."

Brycen scoffed a little, "I don't have that much more, and I'm sure it'll be even less as the years roll on."

"Hmmm..." Mr. B thought it over a little more. "Maybe, I'd just to try it and see what it's like... If I don't like it I can always just wait for age to catch up with me again." He said with a little smirk...

there was a moment for the awkward silence to settle in, lilith fidgeting with her cup before clearing her throat.

" S-So, uhm, what brings you here? Are you also celebrating the human holiday? Or are we just passing through? "

"You aren't very good at parties, huh?" The child commented, popping up at her elbow, a cup of juice in his right hand.

♦ How has roleplaying on Tumblr improved since you started out?

// website wise, I like the layout ! it took some getting used to over all the updates and changes, but with x-kit rewritten, beta editor, dark mode, etc. with all the options to edit and adjust posts, writing, etc, roleplaying has become very fun on the site these days (for me)! I know not everyone will agree with me there, lol, but that's okay.

—as for the roleplay community, it has its ups and downs, but i think a lot of writers who started a decade ago, although just getting in their 20's and becoming adults at the time, were a bit immature about callouts and drama, but I think a lot of those same people have matured and grown, myself included !! Most people, I think, are kind and sweet, and learned a lot about how to communicate or curate their experience here so they can enjoy writing!

What motivates my muse is just providing for the many lost souls of cookies who end up in his gardens. He is compassionate, kind and above all caring so wanting to help others is what motivates him to be a good guardian and protector of his gardens.

Forgotten worlds AVM AU! (I made this au 2 years ago but never really published it but I'm going to now) These are for the main heroes and characters (MT and Purple)

(Yes purple's head looks weird but let's ignore that)

About the AU:

This is basically like the reverse AU but more directed to fantasy. MT, or "The Blinded King" Is one of the main heroes for my AU. He tends to save the world from the CG, who are the villains. MT's son (gold/the prince) was slaughtered by someone during the war between Arcland and a smaller kingdom. And as for Purple, a fallen angel, was banned from Heaven for "committing too much sins". They found MT in the desert, sitting in a rock thinking of a plan to save the world and decided to join Him. Purple wanted to do this, not only to save the world and MT's kingdom, but also to go back to Heaven and relive their peaceful life up there.
