Have you ever heard the story of Whole Foods and how it came to be? Wait, first, before we dive in, let's make sure we're all on the same page. Do you know what Whole Foods is? For those of you outside the US, UK, and Canada, Whole Foods is basically a grocery store, yes... but not just any grocery store. It's a high-end grocery store that sells high-quality, organic, and natural products—think of your local grocery store, but more elevated, more luxurious... and depending on where you live, maybe actually nothing like your local grocery store at all. In the video for this community lot, I dive into the story of Whole Foods, share the inspiration that went into building this beautifully functional lot, and at the end, I do a playthrough to show just how smoothly the lot operates. While I never intended to share this lot, I've had so much fun with it in my game over the months that I knew I had to share it with you all! ❤️

If you missed it our community voted on the next free downloadable lot upload! It was down to 'The Asian Street Food Market' and this 'Teen Beech Community Center' and this one won out! Alas, this is a lot that I have had in my sim worlds' for about a year now, it's loved and played often in my households that have teen sims. I hope you have fun with in your sims game too!

@kayleigh-83 shared some really cute 4t2 shrubs and mentioned they could be repositoried if someone wanted to. I wanted to (and so did @simsinlowspace: hello sorry for the double repo :B). I also made some recolors because the best part of repositoried stuff is when instead of 6 recolor files, you only need 2. I went in game to check them and realized the Unkempt Shrubs were kind of blocky. Still cute and low-poly but kind of blocky so here are my higher-poly edits and recolors. So I'm working on a dystopian/post-apocalyptic far east destination aaaand it happened - I ran out of walls! This is a first for me. The lot is not even half done! I'm honestly not sure if this lot will be playable at all, the idea is for Sims to just use the upper two levels and ignore the rest. Let's see if I can get it to work. I've read Numenor's unleveled walls still work when one runs out of maxis walls, so I guess I'll try that (also, I can remove some of the walls between the houses.).

Allow me to introduce Arbordale, my custom sims 2 hood. The story of the sims within the world are diverse and unique and are sure to cause drama and intrigue. These are the first 3 lots in the world. A home for an insane man that I will show off seperately, 180 Mossy Rd. Then a midcentury based starter home, 178 Mossy Rd. Finally we have a small suburban starter, 176 Mossy Rd. Im excited to see this neighborhood unfold as I make it. I have the stories ready and some sims too. Hopefully some of you are interested in this. I want the builds to be similar to EA. A little funky and abnormal but still very playable. Hope you enjoy :)

I die! I die! 👻 ... literally passes out, because this has to be my best Sims 2 community lot build to date! And with only 6 custom content items, this was a feat that I did not think I would be able to accomplish! In fact, it took me about 4 months to complete this build; that's human months, not Sims months—haha. What a challenge! Available for download now!

You guys asked for it and I was happy to oblige !!! I finally got around to building this Sims 2 eclectic & cozy residential cottage as a match to the Paris Café & Bakery. It was quite a challenge to build a home that had the coziness of a small witches cottage, while still maintaining a mix of modern & Parisian elements. But here we are and its perfect!

Backyard patio, perfect for gardening and grilling.

At last here it is, two builds later, and I think I did a wonderful job! With this open floor concept you can still have that small cottage look, with out it actually feeling like a small cramped cottage. There is plenty of space to entertain, read, and smustle with other sims. The addition of the backyard patio gives you a nice area to garden, grill, and even do some yoga.

Hi Shasta, hope you're doing well! First off, thank you for all the wonderful CC; I always love downloading your stuff because it's so well-organised and the previews are great. Secondly, I have your island RCs of Nengi's island column and pergola, but I can't seem to find the original or other RCs anywhere. I've tried the graveyards, googling various combinations of nengi65/island/pergola, but nothing came up. Do you know where I could find any RCs (pref MM woods but I'll take anything)? TIA!

Hello and thank you for the kind words! Nengi’s originals are in island green and they also made a set in island blue ^ They recolored some maxis meshes as well as their Sea & Surf doors and windows in both colors. I couldn’t find them at the graveyard so I’ve re-uploaded both sets.

I made some maxis-match recolors for you too: light, dark, medium, black, & white.
