I wasn't expecting anything. I thought the Nublar six's storie was over and I'm so happy for this new serie. The Dinosaurs are in the real world and they're young adult now ! Creataceous camp was nice to watch but I really think Chaos Theory is going to be something awesome ! One of the win of Jurassic World 2 was to extract the dinos from the island and I'm sure Chaos Theory is going to exploit this fact as much as it can ! Thank Dreamworks and Netflix. See you in May !

YAZ YAY DAY - part 7

“Really Kenj. We left them right under the scaffolding for the treehouse” she answered.

“Oh shoot, right right-right. I did see them I knew it. ah ah” laughed off the boy sliding back down the ladder, “Ye right here good remembering.”  Kenji said, then they heard him huffing and the muffled sound of things being moved.

Meanwhile, Sammy had brought up the fake bones, with Darius now fixing the broken teeth in the future shower corner not far from her. Just looking at him Yaz could tell he was going to be occupied for a while.

When the pulley was down again, Kenji dragged the first mattress on the platform running back under to get the next one. It was probably the most enthusiastic she had seen Kenji do anything laborious since she knew him. she had to commend his struggles. At least they would probably have beds up and ready for that night.

“I can't wait to properly sleep on a mattress again and not on ground level.” brooklynn said, coming up. Sammy tied the rope on a beam and helped the Superstar unload their future beds. 

“We all agree on that.” She commented, while getting up, “let’s put these on that side.” She pointed to one of the more finished flooring bits, where in her plans a bunk bed could be, if they found the framings. In front of it was planned the remaining bit of the common room sofa and a table. The three girls worked together and once in place sat down on the mattresses

“Ooh who’s getting this side of the house?” Brooklynn grinned, “We rock-paper-scissors it?”

“Bring it on, Brooklynn.” It was a challenge she could not back off from.

“Ya’ll have to beat me first.” Sammy said, “Darius, you want to play for this bit of house?” she then asked.

“Not interested,” the boy replied without taking his eyes off the skull and mumbling about still missing some of the teeth and where he could find them. 

“he is gonna be busy with that for days,” brooklynn, “if we find the missing teeth we know where to bring them.”

“I.. think I used a couple to wedge some of the gaps.” Sammy guiltily looked at them. they stifled a chuckle before the war started.

The first round Sammy won, smashing their scissors with her rock. the second round they all had different moves, ending even. The third round she won with rock. Then Brooklynn won picking scissors for the fourth time and cutting the papers they landed. They were all even now and the next round would be decisive. She huffed, thinking what the Superstar's next move would be, no way she would go scissors again. right? But would she pick rock or paper? She had to think carefully about what to choose.

Now I'm just imagining the Nublar 6 coming across the feathered frog with absolutely zero context behind its existence.

The dinosaurs in jurassic park being mixed with frogs is clever and conveniently also means theres an in universe explanation for them not having feathers, but i do think they should go one step further and have like a little exhibit in the visitors centre or something with a plaque like "more recent research suggests many of the species you will see today likely had feathers, to make up for this inaccuracy we would like to present you the following:" and it's a little terrarium with a frog they've genetically engineered to have feathers, yknow to even it out

Nublar Six post chaos theory headcanons

cw for slightly suggestive content on the last four bullet points

they all live together on Sammy’s ranch for a year or so so they can reconnect

also rent is expensive and Kenji has nowhere to live (his trailer probably got towed or something)

they delegate chores so one person is in charge of a certain thing (chore headcanons here)

grocery shopping is usually Darius and Kenji’s responsibility but sometimes they all come

Smoothie sits in the trolley basket and loves it

the others all use the animals for comfort. sometimes they just need to hug a horse or pet a chicken or sleep in the cow barn for the night and that is Okay

the idea prompts Sammy and Yaz to start a small therapeutic program for Texan kids who take comfort in animals

Smoothie and Bumpy also become emotional support animals for the kids who are maybe a bit scared of dinosaurs

Yaz does Brooklynn’s hair for her since she finds it hard cos of her arm

no matter what is going on in their day, they all always try to make it home for dinner so they can chat and have a nice meal

Darius usually cooks but Yaz and Sammy enjoy helping him out in the kitchen

Kenji enjoys ‘helping them’ (sitting at the dinner table and talking) too

a good spotify experience is very important to Kenji, so he bought the group premium deal

Brooklynn tried to cook once and was banned from ever trying it again

every saturday evening they hold a movie night with snacks and everyone piles onto the sofas (and usually end up asleep there)

altogether they have most of the streaming services (if only they could agree on a movie to watch)

Sammy isn’t really religious but still goes to church occasionally on sunday and puts Yaz in charge of the ranch

Sammy lowkey loves housewifing. she’ll make tupperwares of dinner leftovers for everyone for their lunch the next day with colour–coded tupperware lids and a smiley face drawn in marker

Yaz can’t run anymore due to her chronic ankle pain/instability but likes going for a solo walk around the ranch first thing in the morning

Kenji likes a late evening walk around the ranch, usually carrying Smoothie or walking with someone else. he lowkey does not like to be alone

sometimes Kenji also goes out for walks in the morning, and one time he finds Yaz having fallen over (she rolled her ankle badly because she forgot her brace and cane/was being stubborn and decided she didn’t need them) and he piggybacks her back to the ranch (should i fanfic this??? /gen)

Darius really vibes with the chickens. he loves feeding them. he loves petting them. he nicknames them all. Brooklynn lovingly teases him for it.

Kenji uses the cows/livestock as therapists. if he’s upset, off he goes to the fields to find the nearest cow that will listen. he’s not above eating grass with them (tried it once and disliked the ‘sour taste’ (pesticides))

Sammy has a massive truck which is the only vehicle that can transport all six of them at a time, and journeys in it are the most chaotic thing ever. the gps is broken and there’s not enough signal half the time and the only ones who can competently read a paper map are Darius and Brooklynn. there is always a argument over who gets the aux cord.

Ben steals everyone’s clothes. good luck to everyone else getting their stuff back

any items of clothing that are plain (e.g. black or white tops, jeans) are generally considered free real estate as long as it fits them

the living room sofa has a giant blanket that, with a lot of effort (and sitting on other peoples’ laps) can fit everyone + Smoothie

Kenji and Yaz bicker a lot but they love each other and it’s never that serious

to fuel Ben’s pyromania /nsrs they have a bonfire with marshmallows and s’mores once a month

the shower has a shower chair (for Yaz since standing too long can be painful for her ankle) and grab rails, but they’re pretty useful for everyone

Sammy has a required hour where everyone has to go outside and enjoy the fresh air (no matter the weather, unless it’s literally a health hazard to be outdoors. she’s dragged them out into the rain before (they ended up loving it but Kenji would not stop whining for the first ten minutes) and she will do so again)

the group have successfully organised one (1) group holiday, where they all went to Italy for a week to see Gia and Nonna again, and another week in a holiday resort on a gorgeous Mediterranean island somewhere

i have so many holiday headcanons for them going to a holiday resort but i will do a proper post when i go on holiday to a resort myself this summer :D

they have a system where each person hangs a glowstick on their bedroom door handle if they are okay with being woken up that night for comforting someone who has a nightmare

Kenji wanders around shirtless all the time. Yaz throws pillows at him and yells at him to at least put a vest on and Kenji’s like, “it’s Texas, Yaz, I think I might be slowly cooking alive”

in retaliation Yaz wanders around without a shirt on (she has to stop when Sammy stares at her too long and walks into a door and gets a nosebleed)

everyone has probably seen each other mostly naked at least once

*cue modern family–esque scene where the others prepare a breakfast in bed for Sammy on her birthday and they walk into Sammy’s bedroom where her and Yaz are doing it and the others drop the tray and run and start screaming*

if one couple wants to bang, they text everyone else with the boom emoji and everyone else gets out of the house (the walls of the ranch are paper thin)

Domestic Yasammy is a concept that is so near and dear to me.

Them waking up together and snuggling all cute and lazy until they get hungry or the sunlight pouring in from behind the curtains starts to get in their eyes. Going downstairs and making a nice breakfast together and having a sweet, slow morning where they just eat eggs and drink coffee and talk about nothing.

Them raising chickens and Bessie and her calf and keeping a couple of horses and taking care of Bumpy and Smoothie and loving every second of it.

Going for horseback rides on nice afternoons. Sammy making a living out of teaching people to ride, maybe even training horses at some point. Yaz becoming an art therapist and Sammy bragging all the time about her smart, talented girl with a master's degree.

Cooking and baking together all the time. Going to farmer's markets on weekends to sell pies and cartons of eggs. Sammy becoming semi-famous in the area for having literally the best goddamn pies ever and refusing to open a bakery or establish any kind of baking business outside of her three-Sundays-a-month farmer's market stall because "baking is just a hobby, I need time for all my critters!".

The house being covered in Yaz's paintings and littered with her sketchbooks. Sammy constantly posing for portraits.

Yaz doing Sammy's pink highlights for her. Sammy sneaking up behind Yaz while she's reading and attacking her neck with kisses.

Them swapping family recipes and modifying some of them to be vegetarian.

Hosting holidays and summer barbeques with the Camp Fam. The guest room being semi-permanently occupied because every few weeks someone's coming for a visit (usually Brooklynn).

Movie nights. Date nights. Coming home with treats and surprises just to see each other smile.

Just them being in love and sharing their lives. I know this show is Dinosaur Adventure Central, but if we could get an epilogue that has even one scene of them living a happy, in-love life on the ranch, I would be ecstatic about it forever.

Nublar 6 Drunk Headcanons

Darius:

Drinks whatever is given to him, but has grown a taste for hard ciders.

Quiet drunk.

Becomes literally almost comatose, laughing and chatting from wherever he’s planted for the night, never getting up until Brooklynn picks him up to carry him home to bed.

He left the party without telling anyone once and tried to walk home, Sammy attaches an apple airtag to his belt every time after that.

Very insistent that they stop for food on the way home.

Kenji:

SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS EVERYBODY

Likes to tell people he’s 6’ tall (he’s 6’2) and watch all the other guys in the vicinity try to defend their heights.

Someone gets really close to proving they’re both 6’2 and he calls Ben (6’4) over for support.

“Dude idk what to tell you, i’m 6’ and I’m way taller than u. check out my buddy who’s ACTUALLY 6’2”

It is a wonder he doesn’t get punched in the face. (it isn’t, Ben is standing right there)

Ben:

Drinks mainly rum and coke until Yaz lets him have a sip of her Paloma, then he is Super Into Tequila.

Takes forever for him to get drunk because of his massive body mass lmfao

Face flushes and his ears turn red when he’s finally feeling it

Cries about Bumpy if he thinks about her for too long

That scene in Abbott Elementary where they go to a karaoke bar and Jacob starts singing Last Resort and everyone is concerned. yeah that.

Sammy:

Drinks Coors because it’s available, but will go for the Lone Star if they have it.

She does Not participate in that Craft Beer IPA nonsense.

Yaz:

Drinks mainly bitter cocktails, Gin and Tonic is her safe drink if she’s feeling indecisive.

Feels actually confident when she’s drinking

Doesn’t like the idea of house parties, but she pre’s with Ben and Kenji to loosen up and get excited

Is as loud as Kenji when they’re both drinking (ALEXA, PLAY BISEXUAL ANTHEM)

Will often hop on Kenji’s back and make him cart her around from house to house.

Brooklynn

Always has a different mixed drink in her hand. Her go-tos are pornstars and sex on the beach. Ben doesn’t know how she can drink that much sugar without inducing a hangover.

Social butterfly, takes selfies with everyone at the party, and befriends the bouncers at the club once she turns 21.

STAYS requesting songs from the DJ (they always say yes to her)

Eventually gets up on stage and takes over the music entirely.

Jurassic World Chaos Theory Season 3 Confirmed!?

so i was tossing and turning all night thinking about how they’re gonna resolve Yasammy — in probably only one season, no less! — and what the actual problem is that they broke up over, because let’s be real: Brooklynn is only a part of what’s bothering Sammy. the most recent part, yes, but not the entirety of it.

at the end of the day, Sammy’s been through so much. her family abandoning her. constant threats from neighbours because of Bumpy’s antics. her best friend dying. and, yes, Yaz pulling away. it’s clear that she’s still not over Yaz moving away to Wyoming and all but cutting contact with her when she needed her most. Sammy’s putting out all these fires and overextending herself, trying to show her “best face” so that people see how wonderful she is and how much she cares for them, but she’s not getting that reception. people are ignoring her, letting her fall to the wayside — at least, that’s how she feels. and Sammy is a very emotional person.

so with Brooklynn coming back and also “rejecting” them, that’s kinda the last straw for Sammy. she gives up on her not because she actually thinks Brooklynn’s fine, but because she’s been here before, when her parents left her, or the many times Yaz didn’t return her calls or responded coldly to her texts. in that way, she’s probably experiencing something very similar to rejection sensitivity dysphoria, and she’s looking externally for validation, looking for people to care about her by putting herself more and more out there and exhausting herself in the process.

(and yeah… i gotta say, this one comes from personal experience.)

so how does this get resolved? how does it get Yasammy back together?

i don’t think it does. not immediately, that is. Sammy’s very prideful. very stubborn, she’s not just going to admit how she’s feeling easily, not without being shown a bit how not addressing these issues is hurting her. therapy really seems like the obvious answer, but would Sammy willingly go to therapy to unpack all of this?

well. she might if she goes to Wyoming with Yaz.

they might not get together immediately, but I can see Yaz making the case that a) it’s not just for dinosaur trauma, b) there are professionals there who helped her so they can help Sammy, and c) there are a BUNCH of people there who she can befriend, which is a huge change from the isolation of her ranch.

plus, given that Sammy has already seen how therapy has helped Yaz and is actually proud of how much better Yaz seems about her issues (and given they were literally together for six years), Sammy might be inclined to trust her on this.

i think this kind of help is ultimately what Sammy needs to be in the right mindset to get back with Yaz, which i think WILL happen (they’re basically the show’s flagship couple at this point lbr), even if it isn’t immediate. maybe they’re island neighbours for a year or so before they finally decide they’re ready to try again. maybe they agree to go as actual girlfriends to Ben and Gia’s Dolomite destination wedding.

either way, it’s clear there’s a lot holding Sammy back right now, and i really think she has to actually address it before she’s ready to be back with Yaz. but Yaz knows that, and Yaz loves Sammy, and i think she’ll happily wait: after all, they were best friends before they were ever girlfriends, and best friends look out for each other.

Here's a short list of the most obvious things that should be properly explored, explained and resolved in jwct s3.

Soyona and Brooklynn – we have to see how far they will go together, we have to see what exactly makes Brooklynn back out and run away, and we need to see Soyona's reaction and her potential attempts at revenge,

the odd love triangle between Kenji, Brooklynn, and Darius – shipping preferences aside, I think that we can all agree that, it should be resolved properly as – the feelings of every party should be included and explained,

the mysterious conflict between Sammy and her parents – considering that Sammy's family has always been a massive part of her life, I think we deserve to hear the entire story (1 episode to tell the story, and at least 1 one to resolve the situation),

Ben's girlfriend explained. And by that I mean – how did they meet, is she somehow involved with Biosyn, how does she fit into the group (yes, I want to see her interact with the rest of them, considering how all of them were surprised with the fact that Ben has a girlfriend),

The Handler – it's not a need, it's a must. In Jurassic World Dominion all of the antrociraptors are under Soyona's "care", but as in Chaos Theory Soyona "has" only Red. They should explain how and why in Dominion all of artociraptors are with Soyona especially when we take into consideration the bond between The Handler and "her" atrociraptors,

Speaking of Soyona, I think we should see her at Biosyn; since this is most likely where she is heading, and we know that in Dominion she is already working with them. So it makes sense for Chaos Theory to show how "the deal was sealed",

last but not least – Brooklynn's reunion with the rest of the Campers. And this one is perhaps the one that should seriously span over nearly an entire season. There's a lot of explaining, a lot of forgiving, a lot of (justified) anger and tears. If they half-ass the campers trying to navigate through this complicated relationship with Brooklynn, I'm going to be soooo mad,

Love, how would one define the complexity of the emotion named love. Falling in love in an intricate feeling that encompasses a range of emotions. A person falls in love multiple times throughout their lifetime, so how would you conclude it's actually love.

"Hey!" Sam snapped his finger in front of Y/n's face pulling her out of her thoughts about the complex emotion. "You zoned out."

"Uh yeah I'm sorry, what were you saying?" She asked straightening up again.

"Dean found us a case. An all girls school teacher went missing in Michigan." Sam informed her. She nodded her head affirming she heard him this time.

"I see, how is it our thing again?" She questioned.

"Well we're not sure but Dean thinks it's worth checking out." Sam replied grabbing his things from the table. "Meet you outside in ten?" She nodded her head again standing up from the chair. "Hey are you okay?" He asked holding her arms.

"I'm fine." She replied vaguely.

"you don't seem fine, are you sure you're okay?" Sam was worried and it was evident on his face.

"I'm fine." She repeated but this time she managed to give him a smile.

"I'll let it go for now." He said leaning down to peck her lips. "But you know can talk to me about anything right?"

"Yeah. I'll meet you outside." Y/n said and Sam left her to pack her stuff up. She let out sigh grabbing her bag and putting her stuff inside.

She hadn't been well, physically she's fine. Emotionally, not so much. Sam and her have been together for as long as she can remember. But it has been a bumpy ride. Their relationship wasn't all rainbows and sunshine, not because of their lives as hunters but she felt there's always been something between the two of them, some sort of a distance that maybe only she felt. Sam always had other priorities, his brother, the world, hell or heaven. Sometimes she wondered did he actually love her or was with her for the sake of it. To avoid the loneliness that comes as part of the job.

The blaring horn of the Impala broke her out of of her thoughts, she grabbed her bag and walked out of the motel room they were staying in.

"What were you napping in there?" Dean commented as she open the door to backseat.

"Yeah was dreaming about crashing your Baby." She retorted without missing a beat. Dean gasped dramatically, turning to look at her in the backseat.

"You take that back, woman." She rolled her eyes at his antics. Dean turned to Sam who was having the time of his life watching his brother lose it over a small comment. "Sammy tell your girl to take it back." Sam just laughed shaking his head. Any other time her heart would've fluttered being called Sam's girl but now it just seemed to be taunting her.

"Just drive, would you?" Y/n told Dean, her voice low and tired that wasn't missed by either brother.

Y/n slept in the backseat the for the whole ride, or as they thought. She was awake but didn't feel like being a part of a conversation so she pulled her jacket over her face.

Once they found a motel room, the three of them changed into their Feds outfits. They arrived at the school while Sam got off the phone with the local police officer.

"The last place Mrs Chadler was seen by anyone was at the auditorium, she's the drama teacher." He informed as the three of them got out of the car.

Y/n followed behind the two men as they continued to bicker about 'theatre kids.' The principal showed them to the auditorium and their jaws dropped the moment they entered inside.

"What the fuck?" Y/n exclaimed as she took in the scene in-front of them, a banner was set up above the stage which "Supernatural: the musical." She heard familiar words being yelled like 'idjits or hey ass butt'. A girl wearing a leather jacket supposedly "Dean" started singing their about their life story. The boys opened and closed their mouth clearly thrown off by the barbarous act.

Two girls approached them, one was wearing a red beret and both of them had glasses on. She introduced the both of them and continued blabbering thinking they're from the publishers. Sam interrupted her.

"I'm Special Agent Smith and these are my partners Special Agent Smith," he pointed to Dean, "and Special Agent Wood." He gestured towards Y/n. "we're here to look in to the disappearance of-"

"There is no singing in Supernatural." Dean interrupted Sam and Y/n stomped on his feet subtly.

"We're here to talk about Mrs Chandler's disappearance." She added quickly. "She was last seen here so we were hoping you could show us around."

"Uh sure." Said Marie, "I'll do that, and Maeve can show you the sound booth." She said pointing to the other girl.

"Alright Agent Smith." Y/n said turning to Sam , "you can go with Maeve while Agent Smith and I check out the stage area." Sam nodded letting Maeve lead him.

Marie turned around walked down a few steps Y/n followed behind her but Dean stopped her. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Why do you two keep asking me that?" She sighed and he gave her look.

"Because you're acting weird." Dean concluded as if it's the most obvious thing.

"I don't wanna talk about it." She said turning back to walk down.

"So there is something." He called out from behind her.

"De-" she stopped herself from saying his name. Before she could say anything Marie called out to them,

"Agents?" She was waiting for them to join her, Dean muttered a 'later' to her before going over to Marie and Y/n rolled her eyes following him.

Marie continued to blabber about supernatural and Dean kept engaging with her, telling her what actually happened after Chuck stopped writing any more books, Y/n had tuned off the rest of their conversation. She tuned back in she heard Marie say,

"I'm a Sam girl. I like Dean too but Sam..." she trailed off with a dreamy sigh. "And you know as much I like Y/n's character I think their relationship is forced." She said nonchalantly.

Dean watched Y/n face turn into a frown so he spoke, "well I don't think so. I think they're great together. They love each other."

"I mean yeah Y/n does I guess but Sam? Not so much." They continued walking and reached the back stage.

"What makes you think that?" Dean snapped unintentionally. Marie looked taken aback but she replied as cooly as possible.

"There's barely any romance between them. Hell Dean's got more action, with different ladies combined, than them." She said stopping before the curtain where they could see the girls rehearsing on the stage.

"Alright whatever, thank you for showing us around." Dean replied. "give us a minute." Marie left off to do whatever it was that she did.

"Don't." Y/n said as soon as Marie left. She knew what he was gonna say and she didn't want to hear it. He sighed and dropped it.

The whole time they were at the school the air had been awkward. Y/n had been zoning out more often and Sam was getting worried. They were successful in killing the Calliope and saving Marie and others. Sam asked Dean if he knew what's wrong but the older Winchester just told him to talk to her. They left the school and arrived at their motel within minutes. Dean knew a conversation between the couple was long due so he announced his departure and left the room.

"Baby." Sam called out reaching for Y/n. He hugged her figure from behind wrapping his arms around her smaller body. "You've been distant."

"What's wrong?" He asked turning her around, still holding her in his embrace. "Hey! Talk to me."

"Why are you with me Sam?" Her question caught him off guard.

"Because I love you! What kinda question is that?" He asked offended she'd even ask him that.

"I don't think so!" She exclaimed getting out of his arms. "It's been gnawing at me for a while now Sam, this, us, I feel like I'm just a chore to you." Sam's face fell at her words. He knew they haven't been able to spend some lone time together but he didn't think she'd felt that way.

"That's not true at all. Damn it." He said running his hair through his hands. "I had no idea you felt that way." He made her sit on the bed and kneeled in-front of her.

"Sometimes I feel like you never got over Jess. And I'm just there to fill the space she left behind." She whispered ever so lowly she wasn't even sure if he heard her. But he did and damn did it break his heart. She felt bad bringing up his dead girlfriend but that's how she felt. And if they're having the talk then they'll talk.

"Fuck." Sam exhaled loudly. He cupped her cheeks in his large hand, resting his forehead on hers. "Yea I loved her." He started "but I am in love with you, irrecoverably. I am so sorry that I couldn't show you how head over heels I am for you. I guess I got carried away in our problems that I didn't notice. Truth is I wouldn't last a day without you, baby. This job, hunting it's all meaningless if you aren't by my side."

"You mean all that?" Y/n questioned, looking at him with watery eyes. He smiled nodding, his own eyes a bit glazed.

"I do. I know I've been an idiot and I'm so sorry for hurting you." Sam said holding her close. "But I'd make it up to you."

"You promise not to let anything else come between us?" She asked him.

"I promise, my love, honest to God." Sam kissed her, and she kissed him back. His hands moved down to hold her neck, her arms wrapping around his shoulders. He gently removed her shirt and threw it somewhere across the room. He picked her up and laid her on the bed. He hovered above her trailing kisses down from her jaw to her neck. She tugged on his shirt which he gladly removed. "I love you. So much." He said getting on too of her again. He placed his lips on her collarbone, sucking hard, intent on leaving a mark.

"I hope you-" Dean's voice was heard as he opened the door "ah God dammit." He yelled closing the door.

Chaos Theory Thoughts:

Season 3 Episode 9

How common is it to survive being buried in an avalanche? I feel like that's the closest these two have ever come to death and that's including the dinosaur venom.

My question is, who let all these guys out? Sure the black market went into chaos after the raid by French Intelligence but we've seen a few times that all the dinosaurs stored in the catacombs are individually locked in a bunch of shipping containers. Did someone accidentally hit the "open every lock remotely" button?

I do think it's pretty funny that the locusts haven't given any indication that they aren't completely harmless and yet they always elicit some kind of fear response simply because they're gross.

I like that Sammy and Kenji are going to save Bumpy, it's showing that they didn't give up on Brooklyn because they didn't care or were tired of being the hero, it's that they couldn't keep extending that compassion to someone who hurt them. Bumpy, as innocent as she is, deserves to be helped at the drop of a hat. Also I do find it a little funny that the Pyroraptor is the same one that attacks Owen and Kayla, completely unnecessary tie-in but why the hell not.

Yeah Brooke, maybe if you wanted her help you shouldn't have randomly pushed her after she had already given her trust to you. Just walking away instead of bashing Brooklyn's skull in with her boot was probably the closest we'll ever get to a "thank you" from ol' doll eyes here lol.

This moment is interesting to me, Darius and Barbra meeting once more in Malta was something I was anticipating but this is all we get, just a second of recognition and it's over. I guess the point is that Darius has grown past his desire to catch her as he realizes now how she was framed and how much bigger the world is than just him and her, so he's able to move on, but IDK I guess I wanted something a little bit more. A line of dialog at least.

I like her grumpy look, like she's thinking about how annoying this will all be to recover from.

I like the absolute chaos happening here, after Fallen Kingdom we were all anticipating dinosaurs rampaging in a city and while Dominion didn't give us much, Chaos Theory lets us revel in it.

Part of Dominion is set in Malta exclusively because it's a cheap filming location, but I like that Chaos Theory is having fun with the setting. Catacombs, ruined coliseums, dinosaurs in an ancient Mediterranean country can be fun!
