I mean this platonically or romantically or whatever. sobs

Miette finally opened the door, and her jaw fell hard. She couldn’t help but gawk like an idiot at the beautiful woman who was standing in the doorway as if she were a masterpiece in an art gallery. 

What stood out first were her striking purple eyes that contrasted the rest of her appearance. Then Miette’s eyes caught sight of the dark curls that settled around the woman’s shoulders. She wanted to reach up and touch them, but she didn’t know if she’d be stepping out of line by doing so. So instead her eyes continued to wander.

Miette’s face reddened when their eyes met suddenly, and she froze as if she were a deer caught in headlights.

“You done gawking yet?” Rei remarked, the ghost of a smirk upturning dark lips. “You’re Miette, aren’t you?”

wanna preface this by saying that i am. So normal. anyway i just spent the last week redrawing scenes from mystery skulls animated but as that hermitcraft au i posted about a couple times. you guys should watch msa it is. so so good.

Thinking about ambrosia not working for Jason Grace in Blood of Olympus because he hasn’t figured out where he belongs and who he wants to be yet. Thinking about him figuring it out, and, before anything else he decides to be, him stating that his home is wherever Piper and Leo are.

Thinking about him taking ambrosia after the Gaia fight, not sure if it will even work. Thinking maybe it’ll be a mix of his favorite foods from CHB and Camp Jupiter, or maybe that it’ll switch.

Thinking about Jason, utterly devastated about what happened to Leo, taking ambrosia for the first time in ages, and it does work, but instead of tasting like any of the foods from either camp it tastes like the tacos Leo made for them on that first mission in the sewer.

I'm just gonna yap about a special occasion in SAP (Seamstress and Protector) bc yis.

A Seamstress being assigned their Protector is a very momentous occasion.

And if it wasn't for Miette's Protector, Rei, being quick to diffuse the situation, Miette's Day of Assigning would have been ruined by her own sister, Luna, being a dick to her.

And then Miette, being the useless lesbian she is. Finds Rei's method of stopping Luna (grabbing her roughly by the wrist) to be attractive. Shakes her!

Miette you've only known this woman for like ten, fifteen minutes? At this point? Calm down!!!!

Justice League meets the Batfam, but they already knew about them because of Batman ranting about his kids.

In the comics, Batman has implemented that Nightwing should be in charge of the Justice League if something happened to him BEFORE he had adopted Dick (so, when his only legal son was Jason). When Dick is called to help, he learns that people think he's Batman's son because of how Batman speaks about him, and how he is proud of nothing in his life but the man Nightwing has become.

So, let's imagine the batfam thinking they are so secretive and mysterious, and "B, it's time for you to trust your friends and colleagues more", and going to the JL to officially present the Batfam, only for them to cut them and be "You're Batman's kids, everyone knows that. He doesn't shut up about you."

Bruce doesn’t realize he does it, btw. He didn’t clearly stated that they are his kids, that he is their dad, he just starts to talk about them and how proud he is, and how competent they are, and how much he cares about them, when the discussion seems appropriate to do so. But for the rest of the JL, Batman talks about three things: the mission, his kids, and his interests if you are close and it's useful rn (him starting to rant about dinosaurs to Hal when they face dinosaurs is cute). They probably tell new recruits "Batman may seem scary, but he is really just a protective dad. Soon enough, you will hear about his kids".

Kazutora and Keisuke fall in love very differently.

Kazutora falls in love easily and quickly. It's like Cupid himself pointed his arrows at the poor young man and shot at him wih scary accuracy when Kazutora first laid his eyes on you. Loving you is easy for Kazutora; one might even say it's like breathing air or fish swimming. It's natural. It comes easy to Kazutora. Perhaps it comes as a consequence for his need for a safe space, or the want to loved as intensely as he does. Whatever the case may be, it wouldn't take long for you to catch on to his adoration towards you. From him hitting you up whenever he can, to showing interest in your hobbies to inivting you to hang out one on one, Kazutora is not afraid to make you feel loved.

As for Keisuke, love isn't as easy. I like to think of him as a non-romantic; he doesn't seek it out actively, and neither does he fall in love at first sight. Keisuke might even scoff at romace, finding it sappy and boring and perghaps, even unrealistic. Sure, he'd die for his friends, but romantic love surely wasn't in the books for him. Or was it? For him, love is like building a ladder. First comes, you become an acquaintance, then a friend, eventually a best friend before he falls for you. It will take him some time to realize his feelings, and even more to confess. Though, the fear of complicating and ruining a good friendship might linger in his mind before he gets his act together, the need to come clean will overpower his doubts, especially when he thinks to recognize your subtle ways of affection as a confirmation of your reciprocal feelings.
