#scp fandom please help me out

There are about 91 MTF's (I don't doubt there are more I haven't found yet) in the SCP universe as a whole. When they were created and which existed in the 1970s can make that number lower. However, I did manage to lower the potential MTF task forces down too:

MTF Gamma-6 (“Deep Feeders”): According to the wiki this taskforce, specializes in investigating and tracking oceananic anomalies.

MTF Eta-5 (“Jäeger Bombers”): according to the official wiki it's a "...rapid-response unit specializing in the tracking, capturing, and containment of Large-Scale Aggressors (entities over 30m in height). Deploys from, and detains LSAs within Dimensional-Site-172."

(I'm unsure though if this taskforce would be deployed.)

MTF Eta-10 (“See No Evil”): this task force, "...specializes in the investigation, acquisition, and initial containment of objects or entities exhibiting visual cognitohazards, visual memetic agents, or otherwise require indirect or alternative observation in order to safely handle."

(The cosmic entity in Still Wakes the Deep does seem to emit some sort of visual effect when seeing it or even looking at it for too long.)

SCP fans and anyone else who's been (or even is) in this fandom and has been for a good while, please share your ideas on which would be deployed (or even deployed first). I'll take the help I can get because this is a lot.

uhh...idk I'm just putting shit here atp. Just kinda putting stuff down as I think abt/remember it. Please note this is a bit shippy, but it isnt like.. Dumbed down and cutesy. i try my best to give both chars a more mature and thoughtful feel - stay close to the scp aEsThEtIc of seriousness

this pertains to the collection as a whole, but it's kinda like. There was a original 035 right. That was the jester/black lord consciousness, and it was alone until they left alagadda and the mask started having more hosts. Each new one added the consciousness of that host into the "hivemind" of other hosts.

Due to this system of consciousness , past memories from the other hosts and original, the BL(black lord not boy love) are sorta like a weird game of telephone. For example, the bl liked 049 in alagadda, and that got passed on- but through the different telling of stories the perception changed. So, they mostly recognize 049, but don't know why he's so important so they're left guessing.

smells interesting. Like those dried flower things that give of a nice smell but also to a point it's too sickly sweet or has a unpleasant after smell. Coupled with the hosts smell ofc, but the mask on its own smells like that and a bit earthy too. It's seems nice at first but the more you smell it the more it deteriorates into ...eugh.

This is kinda relevant more to my alagadda hcs, but explains the "goop" coming from them. In alagadda, ESPECIALLY in lords, their is a surplus of unwanted (or wanted, that will be gotten to in the future) humors. For example, the red lord has too much red humor(blood I beleive?) That overhauls all other emotions or humors into JUST mirth. They physically cant feel anything other than that. This goes for the Bl too, there was just so much black bile causing anguish that that was all they could feel. Thus, deteriorating them mentally and physically bc..I mean if you were in constant upset it would take a toll on you. How to fix this? Bloodletting! Er, BILE letting. It helps balance out the humors, to be able to feel more than just their assigned humor. Somehow in the transition from alagadda to the "real world" there was a constant flow able to break through the mask, thus 035 is able to switch emotions very fast and not dwell on just one. Well not more than a normal being would.

In constant mental turmoil due to contaiment,multitude of hosts, nature of said hosts, ect. Causes extreme mood swings, lashing out, psychotic behavior, ect. Like. Not even a headcanon really but they're actually insane. Prone to rash decisions that don't consider future repercussions, unhealthy attachments, Yada Yada Yada.

Moral compass is completely fucked but still tries to do what they pertain as GOOD. Leads to alottt of awkward situations with the staff bc like. Got a Lil dirty secret? Mask mf knows. And you know very well he WILL leak that shit like a furry fandom beware but with 10x more salt in the wound.

Alagadda related, but..haha. lord. Emo ass lord./pos Look at you all "cut my life into peices" and wearing all black with black hair and a black feather but still got that pale ass face like uve seen a ghost thrice in the last few seconds. In my version they're the youngest of the 4 and...certainly act like it. At least from the media, me being an only child I don't know what siblings are like.

Despite their very VERY disturbing looks, the bl is actually a fairly nice guy(keep in mind this is BEFORE all of the new hosts so it's just one conciousness). The most pessimistic guy you will ever meet, but still a nice one. The palace is dreary asf but is quiet and relatively easygoing as long as you follow some set rules. Anguish dosent like going out much, prefers to stay in doors and refuses all their fellow lords(mainly mirth) attempts to have them join in on the "fun" preferring to instead stay stuck in the past and wallow in self pity. The only way this was turned was at the start of the bile-letting by a doctor (049) and that gave him the actual capacity to feel other than anguish- growing fond of his "savior" and attempting to court him (eventually succeeding. They had a relatively good relationship before all went to shit) he still had alot of sadness, but was more active and lively much to the suprise of palacegoers and dismay of other lords - and of course, the ambassador.

There is much more I would like to add for 035, them being my favorite for...5 or so years now? Has given me plenty of thinking time to develop new ideas for them. I still have much left to say but this is getting upsettingly long and I wish to move onto 049. (Then for a treat, you may have some hcs of their relationship- the good and bad)

Im not gonna assign mental illnesses or disabilities i know nothing about to characters, but there is certainly something going on here.

Began with small signs at childhood. Normally level headed but could snap at family and friends out of the blue, anxious behaviors, visions/illusions or whatever they're called, along with hearing voices and following impulse. They eventually were housed in solidarity by their parents out of worry for their child, (now around teenage) worsening their condition. Sometime during the start of the plauge, they were able to escape and made their way into society.

Really does think he's doing good! Like.. really is trying!! But it's not good at all!!! Primarily self taught with shit he finds around and learning from other doctors, which ahem, eventually are killed to use as patients when the mental instability sets in again and he starts to view them as sick or evil in some way. Not sanitary(obv) but even worse so because he is constantly mucking around in body pits trying to do something covered in rot and gross never changing, rarely eating..just a real sight.

Some way or another made it to alagadda. Yay? Something in the way the city feels is calming, and depresses his mind into a more manedgable and "normal" state where he is able to think clearly. The peak in his career where he learned the most, did the most good, and was a TRUE doctor.

Spent a lot of time in the library, then wandering around in very little free time usually giving remedies to townsfolk suffering from whatever ailments eith the supplies he had. Eventually supplies were sponsored by Anguish when they grew close, and he was able to make quite a name for himself within the citizen community. Retained humanity and compassion which was relatively new in the city, and that drew many in

All good must come to an end though, and being banished from alagadda back in the normal world (with 035 but he's not as important in this awesomesauce 049 discussion) did a huge number on his health and basically reset all the progress he made. Turning ..well, crazy, once again and running even more rampant with the new knowledge he learned. This is where he began actually being able to revive.

A very gentlemanly fellow on the outside but it's a whole fucking shitshow on the interior. It takes alot out of them to constantly stay in check(a skill he's learned with his years) but every once in a while it slips and he just bursts or goes into autopilot(not good either)

Very insecure and untrusting, and while looking a lot more sincere and well rounded/not impulsive like 035, he really isn't a polar opposite. Lil bro is anxious point and laugh at his dumbass.(relax snowflakes, I have diagnosed anxiety I can make this joke 🥰)

No I don't have as much stuff for 049 as 035, as I find him more tricky to write for and thus am spending more time trying to round out my perception of him. Anyways. Here's some cute and also sad 035x049 shit idfk it's almost 1 am I'm so tired of typing if you're actually reading this ily

was very one sided at first, mainly Anguish puppy dog eyes over his cool goth bird crush who LITTERALLY made him feel something other than anguish with procedures and all.

At last 049 (bless his heart he was so sheltered he dosent have much a grasp on the concept of love or whatevs) was like maybe this guy wanna be more than friends. Much to bls relief this attempt at courting bad been going on for far too long in his humble opinion.

Spend an ungodly amount of time together. Like enough to raise suspicion if they weren't extremely careful with all of it. If thus shit got out...(it did) it would be over for lovey dovey couple

Lots of time spent in the palace gardens...mmm grey lavender is such an appealing smell to experience while you're giggling shrouded by bushes trying to keep your relations with your first love hidden like Romeo and James or some shit. Anguish taught him to dance like the citizens at balls did, and it was very much appreciated - a big pass time of theirs. 049 still kinda has to sleep? Bl dosent, but he likes to just read silently while doc uses his much larger body as a pillow. (And maybe wake him up out of sheer boredom, much to docs dismay)

049 enjoys preening with the use of anguish 's bile as a sort of shampoo. It slides right off his feather and hair and takes all the little mites with him. In turn, doc will scratch places that are "hard to reach " can bl get them himself? Maybe. But he would much rather a professional do it.

Anguish was giddy at the start of their courting and would write poems at their anniversaries (one week, one month, 2 months, ect) doc would always try to read them but eventually would have to have bl read them due to the handwriting. At times bl couldn't even read what he scribbled down only hours earlier. These weren't a few stanzas either, these were LONGASS poems ok. He has alot of free time.

Physical touch is a blessing when you spend alot of you lives being seen as sickly and gross, so they usually will have some sort of contact. That is, if doc isn't in a sour mood and feeling extra prickly.

They sure as hell respect boundaries though. Bl knows the signs of a doc that isn't in the mood to get poked or messed with, and doc in turn sees when anguish isn't in the best mood to be given sass. He is always down to be poked and messed with but God forbid someone roll their eyes at him when he's almost enraged

The Kinsey Scale is deeply obnoxious to me because of how often it gets trotted out by people who insist that you can't be, for instance, bisexual but homoromantic, or asexual and biromantic, etc. It doesn't help that I also see it brought up to debate character's sexualities who are 14 and have had exactly two crushes as if this is scientific fact supporting the thesis statement of the essay that's been written about Blorbo's orientation. My [redacted] in Christ, sexuality isn't about numbers, it's about how someone identifies and feels. And while a lot of people will get mad at this statement, it's possible for your orientation to change over time. Sometimes you go through life thinking you're straight and life pulls a plot twist in your 50's. Sometimes you think you're gay and then life cackles in the face of your certainty and now you're into a woman. And I'll save you my rants on how attraction to NB people is turned into "oh so attraction to women" by a lot of people, as if NB = AFAB and AFAB = girl automatically.

"But if you're not a 0-1 on the Kinsey Scale that's not-" Shush. No. People get to choose their own identities. "But romance is the same as sexual attraction-" Wrong. Incorrect. Ace people are heterosexuals in sheep's clothing trying to sneak into queer spaces. "Well it's not gay to be attracted to a man if he's trans-" if that's what you need to tell yourself to get through your crush on your trans coworker, fine, but that's not a universal denial. Some of us just made our peace with ourselves instead of pulling off the intense mental gymnastics needed to say 'it's not queer for a man to be into a man'. "I mean NB is woman-lite-" please retire from speaking. Take a vow of silence until you get some sense in you.

I think a big part of this is surviving the hellscape that is the SCP Foundation fandom losing their shit about a pairing that was M/NB wherein magic fundamentally obscured the NB's AGAB and current genitalia from our knowledge. Cue "the science says" and endless, relentless arguments about if you could actually call the M in that pairing queer or gay or straight. Cue pouring over the archives to see if the author mentioned the M's other dating partners so we can see if he's actually gay or straight. You know, because no one's ever gone on a date they weren't into and your dates therefore determine your orientation.

People can break the scale just by having romance without attraction or not being a binary gender or dating someone who's NB or a thousand other things. It was a progressive theory for its' day. We've moved forward since then.

.Gears and Iceberg both decided to share you as they were both in obsessive love with you. 

.And if either of them were to share a darling with someone it would be each other. 

.They both loved you and you were to work under Dr. Gears alongside Dr. Iceberg. 

.Iceberg for once being glad he was at the rank he was at because it allowed him to be close to you. 

.Dr. Gears was also pleased with this work arrangement because it allowed both of them to keep a close eye on you and make sure that you remained theirs. 

.Of course, this allowed them to see your insecurities and issues with eating. 

.How you were insecure with how you looked and would skip meals because of it.

.Dr. Gears on the other hand is far more direct. 

.He would force you to look at him and demand to know why you are not eating. 

.He states the facts about what it will do to you, and how you are hurting yourself more than anything. 

.He is blunt and forward about the risks of skipping meals, but then he tells you sweet things.  .Of course, these sweet things that he tells you are in his monotone voice, but he means every word. 

.They both find you to be the most stunning person and want you healthy and happy. 

.Which does mean that you do not skip meals either. 

.Dr. Gears would also take to making healthy and yummy meals as well, and he would insist that you eat with the two of them, so they can make sure you eat the right amount and that you did not develop an eating disorder. 

.For the insecurities you have they would shower you with compliments and show their love to you. 

.To show you how much they adore you and how much they love you. 

.How stunning you are to them and how much they cherish you. 

.They would help build up your self-esteem and they would build you up. 

.Of course, then there are their yandere sides. 

.They would hurt the people that try to hurt you. 

.Dr.  Gears have a lot of them demoted to D Class. They ended up being dealt with SCPs very fast. 

.They would do this not just by hurting you but with them doing even little comments. 

.They do not tolerate this, even if the people doing it by talking behind your back. 

.Dr. Iceberg has his snappish temper with his yandere side, and that is with him lashing out and even putting his hands on people who try and break you down. 

.Now if they had rivals they can be a bit toxic and make rumors, rumors they know that will get to you. 

.Where the rivals had been "talking" stuff about you that you are sensitive about. 

.This way you would not want to be with the rival and they have an excuse to get rid of the rival. 

.They are ruthless with their rivals and doing that, that way you would depend on them and only trust them. 

.They made sure that you could only love them and this way no one else can have you~  .You belong to them and them alone. 

.They confessed to you together, sharing both of their feelings and that they wanted to share you. 

.They would not take no for an answer and would manipulate you so they could have you as their darling. 

.In the end, you are dating them and they actually make you feel more confident. 

.They are the best choice for you after all.

So they had been having you joining them for meals. Both take turns to cook for you. So they knew that they would have healthy and tasty meals for you. Today was one of the days they both cooked a little bit for you. You were having a hard time eating today as you poked at the meal that Gears and Iceberg had made small parts of food for you.  "You need to eat." Dr. Gears says.  "I am not that hungry." You lie to them, the truth is, you are starving and skipped dinner and breakfast.  "I heard your stomach growling." Dr. Iceberg says. "You also are lightheaded from lack of food. Eat it or I will feed you it."  "You are beautiful, (Name)." Dr. Gears interjects. "Your body is perfect the way it is, you do not need to lose weight for anyone. Least of all us." 

"Us?" You asked confused and the two of them looked at each other before they both nodded.  "Yes, us." Dr. Gears confirms and wipes his mouth. "We are in love with you (Name), and we want to share you."  "W-What!?" You stuttered out shocked.  "You heard him, snowflake." Dr. Iceberg says. "We are in love with you, and you are ours, it is our job to take care of you. So eat."  You looked at them in shock, but slowly picked up your fork and ate. This was so confusing!

the scriptverse is a trilogy of scripts + a prose prequel which seeks to retell fnaf lore completely. it sticks to canon in some parts but deviates in others, so it will surprise you even if you know the lore inside out! i made my own changes to the timeline, mixed and matched stuff from the movie, books and games... overall, just a big revamp of the whole thing, all told through movie scripts!

currently ongoing!!!! the first fic of two in a big xmen au i've been putting together for two months now!! the au itself involves a lot of concepts and combines them to form a more complex retelling of first class, the ten year gap, and dofp. the changes to the story include; - cherik as soulmates - erik raising wanda and pietro, then him and charles raising them together - after the beach, wanda leaves with erik, and pietro stays with charles - the twins grow up apart (and erik doesn't get arrested, so he actually gets to raise wanda) - dofp reunites the family forcefully - angst ensues! - also, a few other mcu characters have been added into the storyline as alternate no powers/human versions to themselves to help with plot stuff. this means the inclusion of wandavision!!

Entity Worship: Grand Karcist Ion (How I Do It)

This is the first in the series, and also the first post like this I've ever made, so please bear with me!

I feel it's extra important to say (especially as I am fictionkin) to please not take my word as the "most correct" or "most superior" way of doing these things! I'm writing this to both help people who want to find a good starting/jumping off point, as well as to share some of my own practices!

To go with the above point, please remember that there is no canon on the SCP wiki, and it's very likely that the specific entity you contact may be completely different. You should trust and listen to the entity you know over my word!

With that in mind, let's get on to the rest of the guide:

Grand Karcist Ion is the original leader of the Nälkä rebellion, and are the direct source for most Nälkä philosophy; they are said to have learned directly from Yaldabaoth and the Archons how to fleshcraft, and used it to start the initial revolution against the Daeva.

Ion is generally considered to be both benevolent and caring (perhaps even to a fault); this is especially true to the Klavigar, who are considered to be the closest to Ion. For that reason, Ion's symbols and associations and the Klavigar's may have a lot of overlap!

Ion may help best in manners that involve taking back control of your life, especially in hectic or impossible-feeling circumstances. They could also be of help with self-expression, and other ways of expressing freedom.

Life

Ion's main representation involves life; although they did not create it, Ion's primary goal has always been to liberate it from Yaldabaoth's destructive hands. As such, the Nälkä commonly give the imagery of life to Ion, not necessarily Yaldabaoth.

Chaos

Ion's second main representation is general chaos; life in of itself is filled with mayhem in a variety of ways, likely because of the origin of life stemming from Yaldabaoth in the first place. Ion also represents this chaos, what with their giant revolution against the gods. But this is also shown in their appearance, how there is almost no consistent depiction of them (between male and female, young or old, fat or skinny, etcetera etcetera).

what of those who use rewrites and get harassed for it by... *those* kind of bright fans, like the type of "fan" that send threats, make nazi jokes, and so on, etc. like dont we also get some voice in venting? if i may share my vent:

i don't care if people wanna use bright, that's their choice good for them, but at most i want people to understand /why/ some people might be moving to a rewrite or a different character within the scp universe instead. and same thing goes for rewrite crowd to understand the same. its a spectrum, two extreme ends with a lot of grey in between it. bullying, sending threats, etc whatever from all sides isn't going to help anything.

i personally moved to rewrite because it just felt the best thing to do morally. i like to follow morals, and the moral said to rewrite something new. am i going to bully people and go "delete bright boo!!" no. i could never.

things i do agree: for the character to be deleted, or at least archived the same way the original 166 file was archived on the wiki with a big ass disclaimer, and keep the tales provided by they were written by other uses and not adminbright (example, keeping Major Tom but deleting Code Brown)

things i dont agree: bullying people who chose to either use bright or use a rewrite. agree to disagree.

Everyone can vent if they’d like and your welcome to vent here if you’d like but please just keep in mind that this is primarily meant to be a safe space for Bright users as well as being a place for my thoughts meaning I won’t exactly be impartial or neutral. I however do not condone any harassment and agree that everyone should be able to do whatever they’d like without fear of harassment.

Also I feel like the reason Bright fans vent more here on Tumblr is because rewrites are much more prevalent here and they also get much more support whereas Bright users are simply not allowed to speak in a lot of spaces. Of course this doesn’t justify any harassment but it may explain why some Bright fans go so far plus there’s simply way more rewrite users then Bright users here on Tumblr especially in the Western side of the fandom so that of course means there’s a larger percentage of them who’ve received harassment compared to the few Bright users.

Also also I’m not a big fan of the morality argument, I just feel like basing your interests off of what others tell you is ok to like/support can get depressing pretty quickly. Obviously you shouldn’t financially support bad companies/people but I feel like just straight up not being allowed to simply enjoy something or talk about it is going too far especially when it comes to something as harmless as a character. Of course the choice is yours however I’d just advise you to only follow your own idea of what’s morally correct and not let others bully you into doing what they think is right.

As for character Bright I believe he belongs to everyone but his original author so I agree that AdminBrights works should be removed off the wiki or if possible do something similar to Ao3’s orphaned accounts/anonymous accounts that way even if removal can’t be achieved then at least it’ll limit AdminBrights reach with new users. Everyone else’s works with Bright on the wiki should stay of course as they’ve done nothing wrong.

Anyways this’ll be the third or fourth time I’ve said this but do not send rewrite creators any hate or harassment I expect everyone here to act like adults regardless of age. If I find out anyone of my followers has been responsible for such asks/messages then me and my friends will put you on blast for all of Tumblr to see, this is not funny and your making the rest of us look immature.
