asking cuz i want to know more not shade what is similar about both of them
If you mean Z and T? A whole lot;
* She likes to paint; so does he. He speaks about it all the time, and she has shown off her paintings too. He also loves to draw.
* She was a theatre kid like she legit went to school as a kid for theatre and was in many plays; guess what, so was he.
* She likes to write poems; so does he. He gets more personal with it too, by painting and writing poems for girls he likes, same with songs.
* She likes to write songs; so does he. He said he wants to write his own album one day (if he were to), and or play, guess who reminds you of that?
* He’s smart; so is she. People forget Zac was accepted in USC & ULCA. He was a top performer in school, grade wise. Even Dylan is ridiculously smart. Anna Kendrick, and others talked about how smart he is.
* She likes animals; particularly cats. So does he (but more so all animals). And he grew up with cats, rescued a cat, and wanted to adopt one in 2013.
* She’s a workaholic (always giving more than 100%), and guess who’s the same? Zac is.
* Both of them had to deal with parental divorce.
* Both of them are close with their mom’s. Yes, Zac is a mom’s boy; that is why he is so polite.
* Both of them had a stage parent situation who was tough on them.🙃
* Both weren’t the cool kids back when they were kids.
* Both of them have a younger brother, who is close to both of them. Born the same year 🙃 and works under them.
* Both get really into TV, because they’re super nerdy in enjoying shows. Zac with his Stranger Things stickers all over his phone, and fanboying over MBB, Taylor is the same way with her shows.
* Both reputable as being really nice.
* Similar like in artists. Kendrick Lamar, KOL, etc. Both said their fav song was Sweet Disposition.
* Both really like outdoorsy hiking, nature, etc she’s talked about it, Zac loves that more than anyone.
* Both musically talented, he likes to sing and perform, it’s the same with her. He even is really good at piano, and now can play the guitar.
* She likes to dance; so does he.
* Both non-nepotism babies and got in the industry extremely young, and working their asses off to make it happen.
* He’s into producing and has his own production company, look at her getting into directing. 😉
* He’s a huge fan of her baking, voice, etc.
* Both of them talked about how they’re both super romantic.
* One of his childhood best friends is similar to Taylor too. Which makes sense why he’d click with her.
They’re VERY similar, it’s why it’s super easy to be a fan of both of them. That’s why I think Zac was so in awe with her, the only time Zac had ever behaved like that around anybody was V-Hudgens, Alexandra Daddario and Tay. Then got super flirty with Michelle Pfieffer but he was fanboying so. He even said it himself once that they fit perfectly or whatever. 😂

Two Conditions |☆Radioheads☆
。☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆。
A/N: The first piece I'm writing that isn't a request, but instead came to me while I was watching the pool house scene on my first playthrough. I've never successfully written a piece so fast without hating it, so I hope all you radioheads lovers enjoy reading this! ♡
----
CW: Nada, just a fluffy moment of peace between Ryan and Dylan!
Pairing: Dylan x Ryan
Word Count: 714
(Checked over to the best of my abilities).

No words could describe the searing pain radiating through Dylan’s forearm as remained seated on the bench, in the pool house. Not even the freak show that just went down with Nick could distract him from the throbbing that came with having his hand blasted away from the rest of his body.
Maybe begging Ryan to do that to him had been the wrong decision, but something in his gut told him that wasn't so. While it did hurt like a bitch, Dylan would rather feel this pain than become whatever Nick was now.
With Kaitlyn comforting Abi and Ryan sitting staring into space opposite him, Dylan tilted his head back against the wall to stare at the gaping hole Nick had blasted through the ceiling.
Fuck this night, is all he could think. He was a hand down now, permanently. He missed his cat, too.
"How you holding up?"
Dylan looked across from him again, finding Ryan's eyes meeting his own, expectant of an answer. He raised his left arm a bit, showing off the bloody gauze covering his stump with a crooked and almost delirious smile.
"Oh, y'know, just deciding whether I want a hook attachment or Freddy Krueger claws." Dylan quipped, slurring just slightly as the painkillers Kaitlyn gave him had started to kick in.
His quick wit and sarcasm always managed to get a smile from Ryan, but this time it was only momentary as he found his lips curling downwards just as quickly as they went upwards. Dylan noticed and put his arm back down.
"So, uh... you really shot my hand off back there," The tone in Dylan’s voice was calm, though it was quite clear he still couldn't believe it happened. "I know I asked for it but, like... would you jump off a cliff if I asked you to?"
"It was an intense moment, man. I don't think either of us were thinking straight," Ryan pointed out, Dylan nodded.
Silence settled, neither boy was looking at one another now. Ryan's grip was hard on the shotgun's handle. Anyone could see he was beginning to feel guilty for what he did back in the radio hut. Did he really save Dylan from a fate similar to Nick's, or did he just pointlessly change his life for nothing?
A sigh broke through Dylan’s lips. He got up from where he was sat and moved to sit beside Ryan instead. He faced him, putting his one remaining hand on his shoulder.
"Tonight got fucked up pretty fast, out of nowhere. The pain I'm in right now, absolutely mind-numbing," Dylan paused and looked Ryan right in the eyes, "But I'm not mad at you."
Ryan's grip on the gun loosened visibly at the reassurance, some colour returning to his knuckles. He focused on Dylan’s eyes and sure enough, there wasn't an ounce of hate or anger in them.
"Even if you aren't angry, I'm sorry for doing it so thoughtlessly. Shit, man... I didn't even consider the consequences."
"Neither did I, clearly. I was the one asking for it-"
"You were in pain. You were panicking." Ryan interrupted, refusing to let Dylan put any blame on himself.
It was obvious that even in this instance, the pair didn't quite see eye to eye. There was no bad blood, though. In fact, the whole thing made Dylan chuckle and his hand landed on top of Ryan's somewhere in the middle of the whole thing. He subconsciously curled his fingers over Ryan's, giving his hand a gentle squeeze.
"Y'know, I can live with having one hand on one condition- well, maybe two conditions."
Ryan arched a brow, his hand responding to the touch from Dylan’s, pushing further into it.
"What conditions are they?"
"One, that you still think I'm handsome, regardless of the number of limbs I have." Dylan grinned, noticing how that wording may have sounded. "And two, that you give me your goddamn number."
Ryan laughed, for the first time in a while, letting out a quiet hum afterward.
"I tell you what; let's get through tonight and then... you can have my number a hundred times over."
Dylan smiled a smile like no other. His face lit up so much, he was positively radiant.
"I'm gonna hold you to that."

What’s your opinions about the uk tour cast/character choices vs the west end?
Hi anon! Sorry this is late coming, for some reason Tumblr didn’t send me this notification.
I’m gonna go through and try to hit the main characters, in no particular order.
Mole: I think Fra Fee is adorable, and I think he does a great job with the wide-eyed curiosity of Mole, but I do find that he plays the character with broader strokes, which makes the show feel a bit more like children’s theatre, and less like a family show. With that said, his version of “A Place to Come Back To” is STUNNING, and might actually surpass Craig Mather’s performance for me.
Ratty: Oh boy. Uh. I am not a fan of Thomas Howes’ Ratty. One of my absolute favorite things about the West End production is how Ratty becomes a bit more of an everyman, and I think that Simon Lipkin brings a tremendous warmth to the role. Take this with a grain of “I think Simon Lipkin is the best Ratty of all time,” with the POSSIBLE exception of Richard Briers (and Peter Sallis, but I don’t think he’s a fair comparison because he got MUCH more material to work with, since he played Ratty in the Cosgrove Hall series, and never technically played him in an adaptation of the book itself). Thomas Howes’ Ratty reminded me a LOT of Mark Gatiss’ Ratty in the 2006 film, and I’ve never been a fan of him in the role, although he does have his moments. I think Thomas Howes’ portrayal can be quite mean-spirited at times, and as interesting as it was to see the nods to “Wayfarers All” in the musical, there wasn’t much payoff, since Ratty never made an actual attempt to leave the Riverbank. Since his arc was less about his relationship with Toad in the tour, I felt like his story didn’t go anywhere much. The Andrew Gordon adaptation of The Wind in the Willows does a lovely job incorporating “Wayfarers All” into the story, and I would have LOVED a similar treatment here.
Toad: I actually slightly prefer Rufus Hound in the tour! I think he’s got just a bit more pathos, and he gets some really funny moments that got cut for the West End production (“short of murder,” as an example). I love him in both productions, but I do think he’s slightly better in the tour. Overall I don’t have a lot to say about him though, because the performances are similar.
Badger: David Birrell is a lovely Badger, but I’m typically not the biggest fan of making Badger Scottish, because I feel like it leans into…whatever was happening in the Disney version too much (and yes, I do blame the Disney version, because MacBadger is the earliest version of Scottish!Badger I’ve been able to find, and it’s SURPRISINGLY prevalent). I also just think Gary Wilmot was a really good Badger. HOWEVER, it makes me so sad that they changed Badger’s line in the end to “no one’s ever said that to me before” from him saying that it had been a “long time” since anyone had said that they loved him on the tour. It really expresses Badger’s solitude and (in my opinion) his closeness with, at the least, Toad’s father. So BIG points for that. Overall, I really enjoyed David Birrell’s performance! I do slightly prefer Gary Wilmot’s voice. However, having read a quote from David Birrell discussing the character, he has a really lovely handle on Badger.
Chief Weasel: Honestly, I think Neil McDermott KILLS this role in both productions. I do think he got to play around a bit more vocally in the tour, but honestly, aside from that, he’s equally good across the board.
Lesser Weasel: Dylan Mason was a good Lesser, but come on, I think it’s no secret that the fandom LOVES Joshua Gannon’s Lesser Weasel. He really brings the role to life.
Cheryl Stoat: She has so little dialogue, it’s hard to compare. Both actresses sound great!
Mrs. Otter: I think Sophia Nomvete technically has a slightly better voice, but I prefer Denise Welch’s characterization. In Sophia’s defense, though, I think the tour really mostly looked at Mrs. Otter as a genderswapped version of Otter from the book, whereas she’s more of a new character in her own right in the West End production. Otter in the book is more of a friend/peer of Ratty’s, and I think that shows through in the tour, on but the West End she was more of a mother figure.
Portia: Holly Willock’s voice is GORGEOUS, but I think her dialogue was a bit too understated. Emilie du Leslay’s Portia felt more childlike. Once again, this might be to do with Portia becoming more of her own character, rather than a gender-swapped version of Portly, who was a bit milder in temperament.
The Hedgehogs: James Gant and Jenna Boyd are both too consistently good to compare them to themselves, in my opinion. They are excellent both times.
I think that covers the main characters! But I reserve the right to add onto this tomorrow, after I’ve slept.
Thanks for the question!

Prompt #17 Destruct
“So, what happens when you can’t keep one?” Maxim stood with his hands on the handle of his rake, the pile of leaves they had been collecting having grown almost as tall as him. Autumn was arriving, and with it the leaves had started to tumble. Willow’s Heart, like most Gridanian-esque villages, was lined with trees all throughout the winding roads and flanking forest. Which meant, plenty of mulch to be found for the Greenhouse, and other projects, and lots and lots of leaves, seeds and nuts to trip, slip and fall into. Charlette had just finished raking a fine mess of them up to the second mountain they had built so far, looking up at Maxim as she wrestled it along. “What? You mean an aberration? Depends on what kind, really. They come in different forms. Enchanted items, crystals, magitek devices, aberrant creatures, ‘afflicted’ or ‘affected’ people.” One of Maxim’s white-blond eyebrows lifted, you could barely see it was there against his pale skin. “What’s the difference between ‘afflicted’ and ‘affected?” turning her rake over, and using it to scoop up the leaves, Charlette dumped them atop the pile, watching plenty scatter back down anyway. “It is simple, really. One is always a victim, the other’s condition was intentional.” Maxim walked around their autumn monument, cleaning up the edges, every leaf swept into it. Neat, orderly, Charlette approved of his technique. “So, like, if someone experimented on me and gave me, say, webbed feet and fingers against my will? That’s afflicted?” Charlette nodded “And if you intentionally experimented with forbidden magics to give yourself webbed fingers and toes, you would be affected. Not the words I would have chosen, but I didn’t write the manuals.”
“Alright, well then, what happens with all of those, if you can’t keep it? Say it’s just too dangerous, like it explodes if you sneeze too close to it.” Bobocufu’s Apprentice Botanist Dylan had pulled his chocobo cart round to their side, and the both of them were hauling their collection into the back of it as they spoke. Pitch forks swung back and forth, their rhythm quite in-sync. Their words were a little wheezy from the effort. “Well, enhanced items can sometimes be destroyed on sight. That is a common one when the item is too big, or too dangerous to transport. They teach a few useful techniques for it, depending on your team composition and specialty. Guardians, like me, learn how to neutralize aether in small areas, but with time and chance, we can completely neutralize an object. Revert it back to being just a bowl or knife or whatever it is. Same with crystals.'' Their work was finished quickly, Charlette and Maxim waving to Dylan as he nudged the chocobo into action and took away a twelvemoon’s supply of mulch. “And if you don’t have a Guardian? What then?” Charlette was not sure if she should be telling Maxim this, then again he is a Willow’s Heart native. Born and bred here. His family must know nearly everything by now, might as well help him along. “If you are an Arcanist of the Order, you may know a similar technique as Guardians, but more concentrated. Usually disposal falls to the Arcanists, so they are the most prepared for it. If this fails though, there is always option number two: destroy it.” Now Maxim was focused, the man having a somewhat worrying delight towards explosives and anything else capable of creating fire. “Arcanists can manage magic strong enough to melt metal, turn entire houses into ashes, burn trees to the ground, freeze constructs and shatter them to pieces. There is a wealth of options for them. If you are a trained Agent of the Order, you generally will know how to make some explosives. A large bomb is an effective ‘neutralizing’ method as well.” Maxim nodded, like he was agreeing with Charlette. She supposed this was a subject that at least he could be about as correct as she would. “What about creatures and people?” It was here that Charlette went quiet, just packing away their tools into their own cart. Hauling herself up into the driver’s seat, Maxim sitting next to her and taking the reins and getting the bo moving. Seems he was patient this sun. The cart trundled down the road, leaves shivering about in the back. Maxim finally turned to Charlette, nudging her with his elbow “Well? That’s long enough. Give up the gory details, do you have giant mouse traps for oversized, aberrant rodents?” That thought was a little horrifying “No, though that would be funny, and horrible. Can you imagine the clean-up for such a thing? Ugh.” She gave a short shiver. Maxim having evoked some all too similar memories of missions passed “With creatures it can sometimes be much the same, though if you use any kind of neutralizing techniques that involve stopping or removing their aether, they generally die. And it is not a pleasant thing to witness or inflict on anything living. It is slow, and they panic, slowly get more and more tired and weaker, they stop trying to run after a little while. Then they just lay down, and die.” Maxim’s brows had furrowed, and his mouth was in a comically deep frown, creasing his cheeks and chin. “That’s grim Charlette, you’ve ruined my good mood.” She rolled her eyes. “Well, then you should not have asked. I find I prefer a bomb, or pyrotechnics that do not waste time and get it over with immediately, but it is not always an option. Aberrations can be incredibly resistant, by design or by adaptation. Sometimes taking the aether is the only way you can harm them. The hardest part is simply that it is not their fault. Never, not when it is a beastkin, or vilekin, or any kin that is not, well us.” Her driving companion needed a little moment to think that through. The differences between their experiences showing a little in his moment of thought. His life in the village and surrounding forest was not devoid of violence, but certainly lacked in the kind Charlette had seen, and had to be a part of. Cruel pragmatism in the face of Conservationist Optimism. It was a strange pairing. “I suppose I can get it. Nature is cruel like that too, sometimes. There’s usually a sense to it though, a reason but without a selfish designer, you know? No insane Arcanist, or deranged Thaumaturge behind it all. No corrupt Conjurer or tempered Mage. Just The Shroud, the forest, keeping itself as it is.” Charlette’s shoulder bumped into his, but not from the sway of the cart. “You sound morose Maxim. Let’s talk about something else.” He looked at her and shook his head “Nah, I’m fine. Just one more thing to go anyway, what happens with the people?” She was hoping to avoid this one. Their arrival at the Greenhouse gave her a precious moment of distraction as they prepared to unload. Leaves hauled into the compost, Chocobo released from the cart and walked back to the stables and their tools set in the shed. Both of them pulled off their overalls and scrubbed the dirt from their arms and faces at the water trough. “People are the hardest part.” Maxim was tying back his long, now slightly damp hair into the tail he usually wore it in, Charlette’s words catching him with a little surprise “What? Oh, yeah. I mean, I thought they would be. Stuff is just stuff, and I guess we’ve all seen animals getting the short end of the stick at some point. What makes it so hard?” Charlette knelt over the trough, running her arm under the tap as water poured out, scrubbing from wrist to shoulder. “That it is never obvious what you need to do. If they are too dangerous to allow to be free, but can be contained, they are. Usually by local authorities if they are capable of doing so, or by us if it is an extreme case. No, I’m not telling you where or how.” That was an actual secret, and she also didn’t think he was ready to know about the stasis process. Few people are, she wasn't when she learned how to do it. “But if they are too dangerous to be contained, or allowed free again, and if they do not self-destruct in the encounter. Well, we kill them. In much the same way as the creatures.” Maxim was moving a little slower now, his thoughts taking precedence on his focus “That’s rather harsh, don’t you think? Afflicted and affected alike?” Charlette nodded, finally more or less clean, and pulled her shirt over her head. “There’s generally no choice when it comes down to that, they often force our hand, whether they meant to or not. It just needs to be done, despite it being a desperately unfortunate situation, it needs to happen. So we do it.” She turned around, her top needing a few laces tied at the back, which Maxim attends to easily. He’s quite nimble with his long fingers. “I’m sorry you have to.” “I am not. It’s a good purpose to have.” “So is Botany, you know. Making life, and you still get to end some if that’s all you’re after.” Once finished he pats her on the shoulder, both of them looking a sight better than before. She does need to wipe a soil stain from Maxim’s nose though, which she does so with spit and a hard rub of her thumb, to his annoyance. “I know. It is partly why I am not rushing them about the hearing. I have… rather enjoyed helping things live, instead of destroying them, for a change.” He was still wiping at his nose with a sleeve, making it look extra red against his pallor. “Yeah, well, you’re welcome to hang around as long as you want. I’m gonna miss you when you’re back to murdering for the good of us all.” “Please don’t call it that.” “Sorry. Fixing things? Sounds a bit better. Like you’re an engineer.” he winked, Charlette gave him what he wanted and rolled her eyes again, with a big sigh, then started walking back home. Maxim ran to catch-up with her. She liked that though, being a ‘fixer’. She had never thought of it that way, and you know what? It helped, with that sadness that hangs around it all.

let's get those Multiples Of Four for the lihn asks
Thank Yoy here i gooo
4) Favorite exchange(s)?
i like the conversation when sheila stays behind with susannah while the latter gets changed into the uniform skirt or whichever costume piece lol and susannah is clearly like trying to Fit In as she would with the girls as a whole group re: just sheila but that's not really what sheila herself is about so it's not going anywhere at first. it was very funny when judith just smacks susannah's lunch tray straight down onto the floor rip. and of course i love kitty Addressing susannah leading into masochist
8) Favorite costume(s)?
hmm not great at noticing these details (especially the first time around and in non-hq footage lol) but i Did notice (and appreciate) how all the characters were costumed quite differently in a very Personal Style sort of way, v helpful to characterize them each and help distinguish them earlier on. i did like susannah's costumes a lot with the yellow / purple and patterns and vests and carefully styled hair and her post-timeskip look was fantastic as well
12) Favorite background moment(s)?
again i was pretty focused on the foreground stuff really lol and i don't really remember anything where i was noticing something happening only in the background. but a more Literal background moment, i too really enjoyed the silhouettes of the girls striking poses being projected onto the bg behind susannah at the beginning of the show, very effective and Dramatic
16) Underrated moment(s) in the show?
i don't think i have a real answer re: what's Underrated mostly b/c i've already seen so much good analysis & appreciation from people about pretty much everything........so a vaguely tangential answer is about wishing it was just a Little more evident that Kitty And Dorothy Have Their Own Thing Going On, which like, yeah maybe it's easier to tell in person watching the show, but......and i Do like that kitty's connection to susannah is so clearly more general than their Relationships (or potential ones / wanting one) b/c of course susannah's dilemma around goes beyond Just the particular forbidden romance with this particular person
i also found judith's character like, nonzero engaging, which is just like i hadn't heard much about her prior i don't think. not as though she's at all Likeable in the sense of like if you were in the show you would not like this character who is both a bully and a narc but it's still like, good for her eventually realizing the error of her ways even if it'd've been good to realize it Before miss asp made it clear she was only ever intending to use judith, and like, maybe if your snitching on a girl had indirectly led to her death you'd stop narcing on everyone instead of just setting up the same situation again. but at least she comes around and threatens francis and even her awfulness can be funnier than the awfulness of other characters who are being awful
20) Headcanon(s) for what happens before the show?
oof that's tricky since so much stuff in the show is unveiling ppl's Backstory / what's happened prior.....idk i was gonna say i wonder how kitty got makeup kits into nation but maybe they're allowed / it's allowed for her b/c her parents are paying so much. not very exciting
24) The Other One or Oh Well?
did have to confirm which one The Other One is but i guess that one lmfao i just have a great time with sheila going off on those verses and it's fun how it's this playful song about them bonding over being rejected.....the "and i guess i don't know how to feel about it" delivery is v funny. much respect and appreciation for Oh Well though of course
28) Something you like/have noticed about the show that you haven’t seen anyone else mention yet?
i'm not sure there Was much that i noticed that i hadn't heard about prior......tbh i think there were just a few Plot Points i hadn't already heard discussed but they weren't exactly Fun ones so i was like hm yeah i can see why ppl wouldn't necessarily specifically address this for kicks
32) If only one could happen, would you prefer a cast recording or an Off-Broadway run?
i agree w/ p much everyone, gotta love the increased availability of a cast recording.....will be around for more than a few weeks, will cost less to obtain the experience, and around here Who Knows what cast recordings will spark. love how plausible it is that lihn Will get a cast recording, here's hoping
36) Favorite song(s) off the Hits of Nation/character playlists?
seeing as i forgot these playlists exist, f, and i have never heard music i just checked for which songs i know i know off the top of my head lol. s/o to each of the girls having iko iko by the dixie cups on their playlists, guess that's some required listening
[susannah: l.e.s. artistes by santigold], [rat: one way or another by blondie, i got a rocket in my pocket by jimmie lloyd (which i've only partially heard b/c it plays in the bg of a The Iron Giant scene lmao so this only counts like 1/3 of the way)] [kitty: diamonds are a girl's best friend by marilyn monroe, la vie en rose by edith piaf, anthems for a seventeen year old girl by broken social scene] [ya-ya: sugar sugar by the archies] [miss asp: i THINK i've heard "straighten up and fly right" and "if i knew you were comin i'd've baked a cake" but i don't especially wanna look them up and confirm lmao. know "i'm proud to be an american" and "god bless the usa" lol ew. "comfortably numb" by pink floyd and "whatever will be will be" by doris day et al and "my heart will go on" by celine dion] [first of all interesting that francis and buzz share a playlist but i guess really all of the roles by The Guy are pretty functionally similar lol. accentuate the positive by perry cuomo, blowin in the wind by bob dylan, i Think i've heard hang on to your ego by the beach boys but i think i forget how it goes]
40) What does LIHN mean to you?
hmm well classic iconis content around here with the shows celebrating misfit weirdos and him always trying to write a show about people who usually wouldn't get a show written about them and creating this material for an all-girl show with only one token The Guy and the Lead specifically being a black girl and there being a specifically trans role as well.....love how much people have been enjoying it even as it took me ages to get around to Consuming it myself, and it's been v cool for it to be so like, here's Totally New Material. even prior to me having actually seen it, it was also definitely nice to have This in the wake of august to interrupt the [lying facedown], and again it was fun to even secondhand have ppl having a great time w/ the show and getting to appreciate the Content and Analysis happening hell yea
44) Favorite non show/cabaret performance of a song?
oop i might've only seen the non-show video for "oh well" so guess it wins! fine by me
48) Favorite time Francis was wrong?
it's pretty classic / all-encompassing when he very strongly implies that susannah has no choice but to marry him / no Hope for her Future otherwise

Thoughts While Watching SK Homecoming
I was literally smiling and laughing like an idiot while watching these wonderful amazing people and thinking of all of the memories from years of enjoying their musicals. I am so glad I bought the digital download because they deserve all of the love and support. Just a word of warning I will be spoiling what happens throughout the show so if you haven’t seen it yet and/or you don’t want to have anything spoiled for you, I would not proceed any further. You have been warned. Also, as the show is over two hours long, buckle in cause this is gonna be a doozy and I have a lot of feeling about this wonderful show.
Disclaimer: these are just my own personal thoughts and opinions as a long time fan of Starkid, please don’t come at me.
.
.
.
1. Darren is so cute with how he encourages and interacts with the crowd, you can tell how much he loves Starkid and loves the fans
2. we stan a founding knucklehead of Starkid
3. I am so proud of the musical daddies as they conduct a literal orchestra!! how far they have come!!! also, hearing all of the songs with the orchestra is such a treat.
4. I am living for Jeff Blims outfit! the eyeliner, the necklace, the vest!! honestly, iconic.
5. It is so funny to me that they had to edit out fuck from their songs, i.e. “i mean what the what”; “tiger lover”; “he porked a tiger”.
6. Did they change the octave that they were singing, because Jeff seems to be struggling?
7. I love how Jon Matteson looks the same as he did TGWDLM, he is Paul.
8. I don’t know why but the TGWDLM medley is increasing my appreciation for Jeff, previously who wasn’t really on my radar in terms of my favorite starkids, but I love his little dance moves and funny things he does
9. Robert Manion fucking performs the hell out of show stopping number and I am here for it every single time. I feel like he can’t help it and you can tell he’s into it because he can’t help but make the Hidgins face and wiggle his hips. Also, THE BODY ROLLS I AM LIVING FOR THEM !!! (@9:10)
10. Both Mariah and Jon are confirmed working boys and I love them for it. I love that Corey brought Mariah in at the end to make sure she was included.
11. Okay but Lauren Lopez knows how to perform like she knows how to work and engage a live audience. I so enjoy watching performances like this where there isn’t a wall between performer and audience because I think that that’s when she shines. I also feel like the same applies to Rob, Joey, and Darren, they are just so fun to watch.
12. How are all of these people so attractive!! I especially love Lauren’s outfit, but that’s probably just cause I love her so much.
13. I don’t know why but Brian’s “I still don't know!!” at 12:08 gets me every time.
14. Joey’s look behind him for his shadow at 12:24 while he bops kills me.
15. The orchestral swell at 13:05 with “this is the dawn” is so beautiful.
16. Lauren's arms are unbelievable, but we already knew that
17. 14:43 where Joey and Lauren walk and then turn back is so funny to me.
18. The second naked in a lake kicked in at 17:05, I got so hype. also, love that Corey took off his jacket during the song.
19. All the different faces and actions during the “fasters” at 19:54 are so good.
20. I never realized how tall and gangly Clark was until the Ani section, the boy's limbs are too long for his own good and I love it. His voice is so beautiful though!!
21. Joe calling Twisted the first-ever live-action Disney remake is iconic and no one can tell me otherwise.
22. I was legitimately afraid for the buttons on Joe’s shirt at 27:43.
23. Britney Coleman and Carlos Valdez singing 1001 Nights was a wonderful surprise and literally so beautiful, also their exit as Dylan started singing was so cute.
24. I’m kind of sad that they didn’t actually sing Twisted in the medley cause that was one of my favorite songs, but I understand that they had time constraints.
25. After 32:38, I feel like I need to watch the Lego Batman movie to see how similar it is to HMB.
26. Semi-disappointed that they didn’t do the usual choreography for the “I want to be your friend forever” part, but I respect that the handheld mics restricted them.
27. The bass or guitar or whatever in the background at 36:30 was so groovy, I was a fan of that.
28. Tbh, I didn’t really get Denise’s whole bit about how Starship is a show only for dreamers, it just felt a little off to me.
29. I’m a little bummed that Joey didn’t sing Status Quo, but I like that they gave it to Mariah and Alex who both have lovely voices. I appreciate that they had a moment to shine when they might not have because they are newer members/ only had a small role.
30. Brian and Jaime’s eye contact with the camera at 40:48 is so powerful and I’m here for it.
31. Joey mouthing the lyrics at 41:21 is so funny and I love it.
32. AJ’s little jump in the background at 43:02 is so cute.
33. Their constant need to have to avoid saying dick throughout the whole MAMD section is so good and hilarious, with so many expertly timed entrances from AJ Holmes and Joe Walker.
34. Joey saying no to the different microphones at 44:00 is absolutely artistic and fucking hysterical. It gave me similar vibes to Bo Burnham’s bit about seeing the most beautiful penis at a urinal.
35. 45:40, AJ Holmes is a delight of a man, need I say more.
36. “Do I smell?” “Pretty bad.” 45:07
37. Seeing Meredith and Brian standing next to each other at 48:49 makes my heart so happy cause this is what brought them together and now they are married and it’s amazing.
38. “We’ve written on all of the Starkid shows” 50:46, what a powerful statement.
39. I had no clue that the Starkid movie (1997) was a thing and I love that Nick just straight-up roasted it.
40. The subtitles at 52:56, dramatical instrumental music. I am here for it, I love this revamped version
41. Darren is so extra singing Goin back to Hogwarts and I am here for it. Our boy has grown so much!
42. Pulling out the glasses at 54:03 is a power move.
43. I’m not sure about how I feel about people singing along to the songs during this. I know it is supposed to be for the fans but don’t people want to just sit back and listen to how amazing these people are and just enjoy. Maybe that’s just cause I only am viewing it through a computer and if I had been there I might have felt different, but who knows.
44. 56:05, AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!! It’s Bonnie!!! She looks amazing and I’m so happy that she’s here!!!
45. Joey trying to the clap in the ear with mic at 58:04.
46. 58:16, I love how Darren always hypes up the crowd for Lauren’s entrances as Draco, he’s done this a number of times and it makes my heart so happy how he supports his friends.
47. I love Lauren so much the way she moves across the stage at 58:57, the power stance at 59:05...absolutely incredible.
48. I love seeing Rob in the chorus cause he was a fan, he loves AVPM just as much as we do and now we get to see him up there performing one of the most iconic songs. It honestly just makes my heart so happy.
49. 1:00:12, Dylan emerging from the audience is honestly so funny to me and I love him for it. Also, I love the ongoing trope of the “welcome” getting progressively longer each time they perform the song. Bless Dylan’s lungs and abilities to sustain that note.
50. 1:03:45 Jim little butt taps are so good.
51. The saxophone at 1:04:19 is so enjoyable.
52. I like how the slowed things down for Home at 1:06:10 with Darren sitting on the stage just having a personal moment with the audience, it was really nice.
53. Darren’s hops at 1:08:45 are so adorable and I love them.
54. I know that AVPM songs are iconic and everyone loves them, but I would have liked to see them so some more songs from AVPS and AVPSY, especially since they had some time rehearse them and there would be no mic issues.
55. Yay for a Bonnie and Meredith duet, both women are wonderful and have done an amazing job as Hermione and I love them both.
56. “Art imitates life a little bit on that one”, it’s okay we love you Darren with your silly guitar.
57. I didn’t think watching this would be educational, but I now know what a litmus test is and what slant rhymes (aka really pushing it rhymes) are thanks to Darren and google, so there’s that.
58. This may be a bit controversial but I feel as though this was one of the weaker performances of Granger Danger, usually Joey and Lauren have fun with it and I love it when they do, but this time they seemed to be more going through the motions. There were good moments (i.e. Joey’s hips, Lauren sliding down the mic stand, the back and forth head turns) but overall it was just kind of eh.
59. Darren’s twirl at 1:28:36 is delightful.
60. I firmly believe that AJ has permanently memorized the fantasy monologue and I refuse to let anyone tell me otherwise, 1:31:10. Also, I’m curious if it was planned because someone in the audience calls out for it, but that might have been a plant so who knows.
61. I just realized at 1:32:20, where he’s talking about mouse wives and concubines that would be bestiality. He only shrunk his size down, he would still technically be a human...
62. Tyler Brunsman singing Guys like Potter is now kind of funny considering AVPSY and Cedric ending up with Lily in the afterlife.
63. Joe Moses face at 1:38:57 is classic Snape and I am here for it.
64. Another yay for Sidekick, this is one of my fav AVPSY songs and Joey kills it every time.
65. 1:43:19, goddamn that man can hit a high note.
66. I love the addition of Rob to Everything Ends, what a pretty song and Rob’s voice works wonderfully with it.
67. 1:44:58, Rob struggling with the mic is hilarious.
68. Classic Snape speech at 1:46:30, simply inspiring.
69. I love Jaime and we all know her voice is incredible, but something seemed off during Not Alone and at times it sounded like she was struggling.
70. 1:51:56, I don’t know if I just don’t know much about music but Joey’s make was a little off, but on another note, I think it would have been really sweet if they had let Lauren sing too so that Draco could finally add to that harmony.
71. That sick piano rift at 1:54:33, hell yeah!
72. Even though they always use Days of Summer as the closing song, I love it every time, it’s just so fun and gets me so emotional.
73. That key change at 1:56:50 tho.
74. Yay for enthusiastic but sometimes questionable fanart ;)
75. Brian and Joe recreating the ending scene of AVPM is absolutely beautiful and I am here for it.
76. The matching jackets at the end speaks to the fact that Starkid at its essence is just a bunch of friends who were theatre nerds and wanted to create something fun together and I think that's wonderful.
In conclusion: Props to whoever made it to the end of this ridiculously long post summarizing the different thoughts I had while watching Homecoming. I truly think it was something for the fans and I love them for it. I am so proud of Starkid and all they have accomplished since 2009.
I want to encourage others to continue to support Starkid in the future, maybe even by purchasing Homecoming for themselves, I would definitely recommend giving it a watch. Also, feel free to respond and let me know your own thoughts on Homecoming, I’m sure there’s lots I missed and I would love to hear what others thoughts.

Conageddon: Richard VIP Meeting Recap
EDIT: I meant to say, I originally had a General Admission ticket, but a very kind soul Noémie who unfortunately couldn’t attend the con let me upgrade to her Richard Harmon VIP badge at a major discount and I can never thank her enough for that.
-----------
- First off, someone in the VIP group had made friendship bracelets for everyone including Richard which was sweet. Another person had brought him a pink crop-top (tummy-bearing shirt) that said "Team Murphamy" on it, and when he saw it he IMMEDIATELY pulled his original shirt off and put it on. (Prompting one of the con staff members to walk in, see him topless, and just be like "Seriously, already?" LMAO.) He wore that for the rest of the meet & greet and group photo. *g*
- The VIP group was big (almost 20 people) but Richard made sure everyone had a chance to talk by going around the table and having each person say something, talk about where they’re from, ask him a question, etc. <3 A few people were still shy or couldn't come up with something, but most had something to ask. My first question was what's on his Murphy Playlist right now -- he said 500 songs but his big one for season six was “Villain” by David Ramirez. He also mentioned his favorite song is "Ballad of a Thin Man" by Bob Dylan, which is also on his Murphy list.

- His family teased him about being in Boston on St. Paddys Day, were texting him to come back alive. After the con on Sunday he appropriately had tickets to a Dropkick Murphys concert. (Turns out he wasn't the only one.)
- Favorite scary movie: He likes bad & good horror movies. His favorite is Halloween III: Season of the Witch, a cult movie people hated at the time but is secretly the best movie ever made.
- Also quick note that immediately before taking that photo, Bob gave him the beads because he showed him his nips.
Murphy & The 100 Stuff
- When asked about his favorite dynamic/people to work with on the show he went to Luisa right away, said people don't realize how good she is. He talked about this again on their panel later, but he realized it was funny he felt so close to her and until recently they didn't really know anything about each other's personal lives. In season three he was going through something bad and she probably could tell but they never talked about it, they just set everything aside when they worked together and he needed that.
- He also clarified that when he said in the past that he wanted the Memori breakup to stick, he didn't want that to be taken against her or that he’s not happy about them getting back together -- it's that he wishes she could do more on her own without being shackled to him.
- He also talked about Bob and how they have a competitive energy and push each other, like from the first day they both wanted to prove they were the better actor. Don't remember the exact bit but he was imitating how they were sizing each other up like "he thinks he's the lead but I'm better than him, oh okay he's good." :P
- Some more Memori cuteness -- he went through a long answer about whether various characters would be good at beer pong or not. (Monty: good at beer pong. Octavia: bad at beer pong. Clarke: very bad. Murphy: possibly good but his anger gets in the way. Echo: no, ranged weapons are not the same as beer pong.) And finally settled on Emori being the person he'd partner with on the show just as he did with Luisa IRL -- because she's a thief and has quick fingers, she'd be very good.
- He cited Murphy's scene begging for Emori in "God Complex" as his most challenging scene, along with the beginning of season three. He answered the same question at the meet & greet and later on the panel about what Murphy would've done if she had died - he has no doubt he would have killed Clarke or she’d have to kill him first.
- About the bunker scene in 3x01 - there was a lot of improvisation and him just doing whatever came to him and going crazy. It was his idea to pour the bottle of wine over his head, and that was a MISTAKE because then he was all sticky and they had to fix it in hair and makeup. They called cut and he was immediately like "ohhh I'm so sorry, I got too into it." Some joking about how Murphy just remained sticky for the rest of his time in the bunker.
- Favorite episode he said was 2x11 but meant 2x12 -- Murphy and Jaha in the desert is his favorite storyline. He loved the line "Faith? Nah, I just got nothing better to do."
- He really regrets that Murphy never got to have a moment reacting to Jaha's death. They had such an important relationship where he hated him but also had this weird father/son dynamic, even though he'd killed his father... It wouldn't even need to be a whole scene, just "someone tells me Jaha didn't make it and I could just have a look, let me play that."
- Another regret: in season 3 he wanted the stuff with Ontari to go differently, he liked the idea that she represented a dark side for Murphy, just being the kind of person who takes whatever she wants and doesn't have morals and there's something he actually likes in that, and meanwhile Emori is his light and hope of having another chance. But they didn't really explore that. He often has to remember he's like in the C-storyline and there's other stuff going on with the leads.
- On how Murphy will respond to Monty and Harper's death, he said Murphy doesn't like to feel indebted to people and he'd be upset that Monty had just saved his life and he doesn't think he knew how much Murphy respected and cared about him. [That may or may not actually come into play onscreen or with Jordan, he suggested that Murphy's kind of wary and annoyed by Jordan because he's annoyed by everyone.]
Non-Spoilery S6 Spoilers
- I asked him about Murphy's mental health in season six. He said there will be more of that, not because he's dealing with it but that he's adding *new* problems. O_O
- One of the fans said she sees Murphy as symbolizing the whole of the show because he's all about surviving and it's something the audience relates to also. He said something about how "how far is he willing to go to survive" is a running theme for Murphy specifically and in season six we'll see an answer to that question.
- They're not really gonna show any more of what happened in the six years, they're past that. (lights a candle in mourning for the spacekru flashbacks I never got siiigh.)
- A girl talked about how she loves Clarke and Murphy and always wants them to be friends, and Richard was like LOL ENJOY SEASON SIX implying they will... probably not be that. ;) He did give a legit answer to her question about how they are similar characters, and he thinks part of why they haven't been friends is Murphy just initially didn't like her and associated her with the ruling class on the Ark, where he had been locked up since he was like 10. Anyway he told the Clarke/Murphy Friendship girl that it will be hard but she also might like it, because Clarke and Murphy's relationship and how they feel about each other is central to this season.
- He was *pissed* (his words) about something that got cut from the first episode in season six -- it was just a small thing at the end of a scene, it sounded like it was related to Murphy and Jordan, but he was just really frustrated that it was in there and then cut. He'll say what it was after the episode airs. And then there was something else in season six (!) where he had to film a much longer & difficult scene and they edited it down a lot. He says Jason promised him they would make the full version available somewhere. (Nicole says: I will believe this when I see it, and also I'll know what the hell he's talking about when I see it.)

So, I read... The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness [Book Review]

Have you ever wandered what happens to all those people that are not even characters in your favorite books? Extras, not even important enough to be secondary characters? At least I haven’t, but I really enjoyed this book.
So, The Rest of Us Just Live Here tells us the story of Michael and his group of friends who, unlike the Indie Kids (please remember this concept), are not the chosen ones. Do you remember Bella Swan’s cousin, Harry Potter’s neighbors and the guy who was in the other room of the hospital in which Charlie Kelmeckis was hospitalized? Well, me neither, because I don’t even think they were mentioned. And it makes sense because they’re not Indie Kids, unlike the protagonists. In this story, Michaels and his friends are in the middle of a very heavy situation: Indie Kids are in problems, which means that something could happen to their town. Or even worse: to their prom night.
Even though I really loved the book, I don’t think I was prepared for what was coming. I mean, one of the first reviews in my book said “Hilarious!”, so I was expecting to crack my back laughing. And guess what, most of it was really depressing. In a way that I really enjoy though.
I must admit that it is a little bit boring at the beginning, especially if it is your first time reading a book by Patrick Ness, as he really takes his time to get you to know the characters and the world in which these are situated. I will say right now that it a very character-driven story, which I’m sure many people would love.
There are two storylines in the book: Mike and his friends’ storyline and the Indie Kids storyline, which is only a paragraph at the beginning of the chapter and actually serves to give context to what the main characters are going through. At the same time, however, the storyline of the Indie Kids also tries to parody the usual tropes that are repeated in YA books and, although I think it is successful at doing that, I also think that the book itself falls into some of this tropes. At some point the paragraph of the Indie Kids talks about how adults are not present, which is something that most of these kids (the non-Indie ones) complain about. Also, I live in Latin America, so I’m not used to hear names like “Dylan” and “Finn” in my daily life. That being said, I don’t think those names are like super weird and special, so I don’t understand why the book makes it seem as it those names were very vintage and uncommon. Speaking about this, the name of each member of Michael’s family starts with “M” which, I don’t know about you but, sounds very Indie to me.
In order to explain those “mistakes”, “inconsistencies” or whatever you want to call it, I came up with my own theory. So, the book is about those characters that are not special in stories. However, I’m not sure Ness do it so well. They’re all special in a sense. They suffer and struggle. Sure, we all do, but at the beginning it’s not so clear that they’re not special. Maybe it’s a way of saying that the “extras” are also special as they have their own struggles. Stories usually make us think that only the important characters have problems. So, I think the idea of the book is to show the opposite. Maybe I’m wrong and it was just a failed experiment, but I love Patrick Ness so I prefer to think my theory is correct. Sorry.
The book, as almost every other YA book, deals with various realistic issues. I don’t say this as if it was a bad thing, on the contrary, I think it is great if it is done right. And guess what. This book definitely does (until the end, which I’ll talk/write/complain about after the fun facts, so I don’t spoil you the book). I would say that the novel is mainly about growing up and leaving things behind when you do. It’s all about how nothing is forever. As someone who left his hometown for 4 years to study, and someone who is constantly afraid about the future, I related to many parts of the book. Sometimes it was heavy and depressing, but it was really relatable. It also deals really well with mental illnesses (until the end…). I was actually very surprised of how realistic and even respectful it was when talking about depression, anxiety, Alzheimer and suicidal tendencies. I know that I said that the book’s funny moments were overshadowed by the heavy moments, but it doesn’t mean that it wasn’t funny at certain times. That being said, there is no single sentence in the book that treats these issues in a funny way.
Now, leaving aside what I’ll say about the end later, I think the conclusion was cute and uplifting. Overall, I think it was actually a very enjoyable book. I don’t recommend you reading it if you’re going through a hard moment, though. I think young adults are the ones who could enjoy it the most (which is obvious, as that is the target audience).
Story: (4.5/5)
I really liked the story. It was simple but very smart. It does take some time to get to the more exciting parts, but if you’re patient you’ll enjoy it.
Style: (5/5)
I’ve always loved Patrick Ness’s writing, so I cannot complain about that. Dialogues feel real, common, without being boring. I like that the narrator tells us the story of the Indie Kids too at the beginning of each chapter, because it also feels like a guide to understand what is happening in the world created by the author at the time. Even though some tropes that are parodied are also present in the book, I don’t mind it that much.
Narrative: (4/5)
As I said, both storylines kind of join towards the end of the book, but the rest of the time it lets you know the consequences of the Indie Kids storyline. It makes you feel the right feelings at the right time. When it needs to be sad it makes you feel that way, and when it needs to be funny it can make you laugh. The only thing I didn’t like is that spoiler that I’ll write later.
Characters: (4/5)
I really liked the characters. Each of them feels different to me. They have similar, but different issues, as most teenagers do. It makes you realize that everyone carries their own scars, and that you shouldn’t be an asshole if you think yours is more painful. (You are totally allowed to feel that, though). The Indie Kids stay in a second plane, which is great, as we all know how they behave.
Overall: (4.3/5)
Fun Facts:
- It reminds me to that “The Amazing World of Gumball” episode in which the focus is on other characters and it sort of turns out in a teenage drama.
- The author really hates short people, apparently. And as a shortie, I felt a bit uneasy (not really).
- I picture this dull indie filter over scenes. And I’m obsessed with that.
- At least my copy glows in the dark. And I LOVE that.
SPOILERS:
So, what bothered is that, at the end Jared (Mike’s friend, in case you haven’t read the book) gets godly abilities and he offers to “cure” Michael’s anxiety and OCD. I know that it’s fiction, but the thing is, in the whole book they acknowledge that these treatments take time and work, and then they say “hey, it is as easy as if I want to cure your mental illness”. Sure, Michaels decline the offer, but it also bothered me. People would do the impossible to live their lives “normally” (I use this term very loosely), so I think that the best would’ve been to keep this out of the book.

NON-SPOILER REVIEW Overall: This is a lot of fun. Many times the audience were dying in hysterics of laughter. It's a simple story but it's very funny, packed full with comedy and hilarious moments. The characters are interesting and it has some ridiculous moments. I can't really say anythnig else about it other than say it's entertaining and very funny! ALSO I am very thankful for the high-touch at the end of show! I got to high touch with so many actors that I like!! It appears this stage isn't selling out which makes me sad because it's got some really great names in it and it's a lot of fun! Rating: 8.5/10

SPOILER REVIEW
PRE-SHOW Well this place is fancy as fuck... << was the first thoughts that went through my mind xD also I quickly realised that ‘Oh, it's also where Wakasamagumi is going to be this time around!’ which got me excited although I probably won’t be going. I forgot how many damn actors that I love that are in this! And there was a high touch after this so I was super nervous because I like a LOT of actors who were in this!!
MAIN PLOT
So five friends decide to meet up for their 10th year High School anniversary, especially one of them (Masshu) is adamant on them getting their seishun/youth feeling back. So they go back to the place where they all met and were forced to spend one month as a summer extra curriculum activity. While at first, as students, they hated the idea of having to spend a month of their summer holiday doing classes and cleaning and spending time with people they don't know or like, especially our main character Naoki (Harashima Motohisa and Masaki Kaoru) who has no interest at all in making friends or even continuing being with them after the activity is done. But as the summer classes go on, they all genuinely begin to bond and enjoy their time and by the end, they don't want to depart and want to end their summer by making a festival, which will hopefully attract all the nearby schools which all happen to be ALL-GIRL schools (while they're stuck in an all-boys school).
THE SHOW ITSELF
Oh this was so funny! Unfortunately I spent the first 30 minutes of this play in a LOT of pain with my back from some reason so I couldn't fully immerse or get into the story even though I really wanted to laugh along with everyone else! *cries* but once the back-pain passed, I did not stop laughing and there were so many rounds of applause from the audience because so many parts were absolutely hilarious! I was dying of laughter as was everyone else and some of them on stage were dying too - I'm looking right at you Higuchi! He could not contain he laughter at some times xD this little shit.
I'll do my usual, go through actors and hopefully talk about their characters and what I thought and some scenes that stood out to me.
I was so surprised to see Harashima Motohisa (he plays future Naoki) in this! He's one actor who I love no matter what he does but I don't go out of my way to see him so it's always pleasantly surprising when I see him pop up in stuff that I'm watching. I really love how much his cringed at his past self and his past blogs that he used to write and upload. Also I love how at the beginning his suspiciously says 'my job? .... I'm a... I'm a salaryman.' but then towards the end he completely loses it and yells 'I LIED!!! I'm a salaryman!!! I don't want to be normal!!!! I tried being an actor.. I tried being a youtuber... I tried having part time jobs!' and he just blows and it's so funny!

When I first saw Masaki Kaoru, I wasn't keen just purely from me being vain and basing people on their looks. I'd never seen him before so I should've been a bit more open. But I quickly opened up to him and I really enjoyed how ridiculous his character was. Every time he came on stage to narate the next day or the next part of the story, he would always introduce himself as someone else, like 'Good morning, I'm Bob Dylan! That's a lie. I'm Naoki!' and then would proceed along with the story. He ended up being really cute and his character was really nice. I'm glad his character development ended up being good and him learning to appreciate his friends, but also his reaction to his future self was hilarious (more on that later). He's an Amuse kid and he was in ODAC's HOME when I watched it last week (I still haven't released that review have I?! Jesus just how far behind am I... damn K-TV taking up all my time). One scene in this I really liked was when Higuchi brought some snacks and games for them to bond over and they break the sweets pack out and over into the audience, so the first 6 rows or such had a chance of getting sweets from them! And once they were thrown Masaki was sweet enough to be like ‘there’s still a packet on the floor over there’ and such.

Masshu's character was so adorable. I was surprised that him and Higuchi were playing the same character but it makes sense. They're both super funny and entertaining. I love how ridiculous this character was! Especially with Masshu randomly throwing out random English like 'let's find our.... blue spring ('seishun' instead of 'youth')' and he would be like '...why?! ... why??' in English instead. It cracked me up a lot. But I did get worried because in this story past self, Higuchi, spends a lot in the hospital and can't join in on activities because of doctor's orders so I was super worried that we were going to get a 'I wanted us 5 to do this trip because I'm dying'' kind of plot line -- but thank god, turns out his future self is doing well.

As for Higuchi, lets be real, he was just playing himself. There was a scene where Taiga goes mental because he got his game system taken away from him so he goes on a mental pillow hitting streak on the members and Higuchi was just in the corner dying of laughter to himself along with the entirity of the audience. His character was annoying and in your face but in a good way; he just wanted to be friends with everyone! And because he was clearly a weak or sick child he wanted to make lots of friends and be normal and make meaningful memories - he reminded me very much of Kamen Rider Fourzes' Gen and his mission to make 100 friends!

Moving onto the Jounin/Takenaka pair. I personally, if you know me and remember, I don't particularly like Jounin as an actor; whenever I've seen him, I've always felt annoyed or underwhelmed by his character/acting. But in this one, I felt he did just fine. He was alright and did just a fine job. But he didn't exactly stand out either. Takenaka on the other hand; I focused on him more than I did Jounin; and I really liked his introduction where we're immediately told that he was once the main lead in Meitantei Jun and everyone around him wants handshakes and such and he's just like 'I'm used to it. You can ask, don't worry about it,' and we also see glimpses of teachers coming to him and saying, 'your mother called, won't you answer?' and he always replies 'tell her I'm busy' because (as he explains) she's only calling because she wants him to take more auditions because he just keeps failing them all. Jounin remembers his past self and gets annoyed because by now his mother has already past away (5 years ago) and when he finally go the courage to tell her that he didn't want to act anymore and to finally tell her he found a normal job etc. she was so happy to hear and congratulated him. But she soon passed after that. So when these two finally meet, of course Jounin is like 'you should answer your mother's calls. You should just tell her how you feel' etc. But more on that later.
4th in line is Matsumura and Taiga. They are the polar opposites; Taiga is obsessed with playing games and finds so much positivity and joy in life even from the smallest of things; while Matsumura, even though he got his dream of being the CEO of a gaming company, he finds it boring, nothing is interesting in his life. Seeing this polar opposite was very interesting. I really enjoyed Taiga's character and I love how mental he went when he didn't have a game to play in his hands xD I also love that he just enjoys whatever! I didn't realise, until the high touch event, who Matsumura was and then I saw him and I was like 'damn your Makoto from EnStage!'. He looks MUCH better in this stage than he does in EnStage.
Finally we have Kimura and Akisawa. These two were very similar in their present and past selves. It was very hilarious to see them two because they didn't change much. Both of them were scared of ghosts and both were loud and pretending they weren't scared of ghosts. They had... a lot of passion < is the best way to put it xD they created a lot of the comedy when it was just the five boys on stage together. This character is constantly moving and it's in a very yankee way and he's also always twisting and being super fast moving etc. it was very comedic and fun to watch! OH and another ridiculous thing about him; Akisawa has kids and they're called Donald, Minnie and Mickey, which is already ridiculous enough, but then it's later revealed that they're all boys!

Towards the end, the present selves manage to contact their past selves so they end up having one on one battles with each other which is just absolutely hilarious. So we had Harashima and Masaki going head to head against each other and Harashima is like 'you're my black past!!! Why didn't you enjoy it?! Why did you have to be so crazy?!' and Masaki is like 'you're a salaryman?!?! You're my black future!! Why did I become like this?!?!'
We had Masshu and Higuchi getting along very well and just talking about how's life and Masshu explains 'you get really sick for about 4 years, but don't worry, I'm all good now'.
Jounin keeps asking Takenaka about their mum and why he won't answer her calls while he's on this summer trip and tells her that he should be honest about his feelings of not wanting to be an actor anymore and that he should talk to his mother more. Also he asks him if ghosts are real and Takenaka is like 'they're not' and Jounin admits he believes in them.
Then we had Matsumura and Taiga; Taiga is so happy and fascinated that he became the CEO of a gaming company and asks Matsumura to play a game with him. But Taiga keeps losing but because Taiga is so happy about playing games and Matsumura can see the happy life his old self is leading that he says Taiga is the real winner and he now wants to find fun in his life again.
Finally we have Kimura and Akisawa who are just being absolutely ridiculous and going all headbutty and fighting on top of each other a lot and Kimura is annoyed that Akisawa is considering divorcing his wife and Kimura is like 'I thought I was cooler than this!!! I'm supposed to love my one and only girl for the rest of my life like a cool guy!!! If I find a woman I love then she surely deserves it all!' and finally Akisawa is like 'damn past me is so damn cool! What was I thinking divorcing her!'
Another scene I really loved with our main five boys is in a past scene; where they five boys and their teacher Tani-sensei and the Kendo sensei are all together and Higuchi randomly asks 'who here are virgins? Come on, admit it' and at first only Tani-sensei raises his hand, so naturally the audience start laughing, and then all the boys except Higuchi raise their hands and finally, he's turned away from the boys so they can't see but the Kendo sensei raises his hand a little too, and the entire audience EXPLODED in laughter. So naturally all the boys are like 'come on (Higuchi), raise your hand too! You're a virgin too!.... right? ... you're a virgin, right? ... wait what?! WHEN?! TELL US EVERYTHING!'

Now I'll get down to the more minor characters, starting with Iwa Yoshito! His character stood out because everytime he was on stage and with the rest of the class, for some reason they really wanted to just strip him off all his clothing and while they didn't show it the first few times, there's one part where the 5 MCs are in the foreground and you can see some of the students using their shirts to block the view and when they stop doing that, Iwa is just stood completely shirtless. And then towards the end of the show he just takes his shirt off himself and everyone's like 'why did you do that?' and he's like 'I give up!' and walks off xD
Takasaki Shungo’s character was very interesting. He was the ONE guy in their school year and in the summer school who was in touch with girls and the first scene with him, we see him on the phone to a bunch of girls and making dates to go to the summer festival with them. Naturally, all the other boys are super jealous! He is also the one who really gets into Kendo sensei’s ‘Special Class’ and he starts practising at night when everyone else is asleep and he wants to learn more so he starts trailing the sensei at night (which is hilarious). And then when they do the cultural event slash festival at the end, he’s the one who’s able to invite the all-girl schools to go and watch (we, the audience, as treated as those students at the end) them perform.

Hiroki's character was so funny! He was adorable too with these two cute pink pins in his hair. His part was smaller than I would've wanted but you can't win them all can you xD he had a main part of this story which was tormenting the PE(?) teacher and constantly making banana jokes around him. He asks the teacher where his banana is and the teacher is like '???' and Hiroki replies 'well you look like a monkey'. Then in a later scene, the teacher has a yellow towel around his neck and Hiroki goes 'why do you have a banana around your neck?' and every time this joke happens the teacher tries to attack him and yells 'It's not a banana!'. But in the very final scene for him, he's actually holding a banana and Hiroki approaches him and just says 'thank you for teaching me so much teacher!' and of course the teacher gets pissed because that's not what he was expecting and is like 'OI! I have a banana! Are you not going to say it?!' and Hiroki is like 'nah I gave up on that joke' and Hiroki runs because the teacher tries to attack him again xD it was really funny and really hilarious. Especially considering how many monkey jokes get thrown at Hiroki himself from his coworkers and friends xD
Now onto the teachers - who are BAT SHIT CRAZY!

Murakami Kouhei plays the headteacher (or at least is the more senior within this group) and he's perculiar in that he quotes many different and famous people through the entirity of the play and acts very stoic. But then when they do the festival at the end, he goes a little loopy because he gets to play one of the final bosses and has two swords to fight the boys with (as expected of a Kamen Rider actor!).
Nishioka Daisuke is just the most perverted teacher ever! He's Murakami's right hand man and of course obeys and respects everything about Murakami but he's also like 'oi, you should introduce me to the students at the All Girls tachibana school' and things like that. He's just a pervert xD
Mende Tomoyuki plays the 'robot' teacher. Everyone thinks he's a robot because his movements and his talking is so monotone and so rigid but of course he isn't. He's a very strict teacher and doesn't show much emotion.
I am pretty sure it's Kitadai Takashi who plays the aggressive and abusive PE teacher. Whenever he tries to attack and hurt the students, Murakami is always by the side and he looks over to him and stops attacking the students xD

Kanesaki Kentaro ends up playing the Kendo sensei who everyone in the audience absolutely fell in love with, He is absolutely hilarious! At first we see him teaching the 'Special Class' and we just think he's normal but then in a later scene we seen him on a scooter with a helmet and just skating across the stage all silently which was just bizarre. And then in a later scene he's off scootering and a student tries to talk to him but he continues skating like he never saw him xD and finally towards the end when he joins up with the MCs, he just gets ridiculously funny; the virgin scene and then him getting happy about girl schools coming to the festival and he's all trigger happy when he has a wooden sword in his hand. He totally became the audience's favourite by the end of the show! He was such a barrel of laughs. Seriously, my notes of him were just 'The kendo sensei being crazy as fuck'.

Totani Kimito plays the new homeroom teacher 'Tani' (which is a pun becaue in Japanese homeroom teacher means Tanin and he's like 'I"m the tanin, Tani. No that's not my name on purpose' xD I really liked him. He was very sweet and very easily lovable. But I was suspicious of him because he bumps into the boys in the future just after they talk about 'are ghosts real?' so for the majority of the play, I assumed present Tani was actually a ghost reciding in that place, but I was wrong. There was no catch. He was just there with another year of school summer activity students.
One thing I am thankful about is the fact that there was surprisingly nothing sad in this play, thank god! I was waiting for it. Especially when we had Higuchi being sent to hospital and we learn that Jounin's mother passed away. But there was no big sad moment and no tears so (thank god) it was a completely comedic and positive play which -- guys -- it's been a while.
Unfortunately none of the other boys particularly stood out but after googling them, I recognise a lot or can say I've seen and/or know about some of the stuff they've done.
AFTER EVENT!
As in per usual style of mine, I had no idea there was an aftershow event until I was at the damn show! It was a high-touch/high-five event with all the main characters/actors! So I got to high-five:
Harashima Motohisa Ishiwatari Masshu Akisawa Kentaro Jounin Tatsuki Matsumura Taiichiro Masaki Kaoru Higuchi Yuta Kimura Atsushi Takenaka Ryouhei Fukazawa Taiga
And it went in order of Matsumura-Taiga-Akisawa-Kimura-Takenaka-Jounin-Masshu-Higuchi-Harashima-Masaki along the line. I am so super happy that I got to get high-touches with Taiga (I remember he had such a great smile on his face), Masshu (my friend is his fan so he's used to seeing white foreigners in front of his face now xD), Higuchi (I was super nervous high-touching him... I honestly think this is the FIRST stage I've ever seen him live in the flesh too! DAMN), Kimura (he was cute, obviously! I've always wanted to see him on stage but our schedules and stages just don't tend to match xD) and Harashima (I was super nervous high-touching him too!). Also the line slowed down about Higuchi/Masshu/Jounin around so that didn't help my nerves with Higuchi! Haha MAsaki always greeted me with this huge smile right at the end of the line which was adorable! But of course I was sad that Hiroki was NOT in the line xD
*
GOODS
I was so thankful that Hiroki only has one bromide set this time. BUT I did feel a little upset he didn't have at least two sets xD I think this is the cheapest he's ever cost me!

*
And we are done!

“I Hate That I Love You” (E.D) Part 8
//enjoy loves 💜 feedback is always amazing //
*****************************
I get up earlier than I have to the next morning. I don't bother waking Ashlee up instead I just get dressed and walk around the campus until my first class. It's so quiet out, an eerie kind of quiet. It's actually kind of creepy and peaceful at the same time. I almost jump out of my skin when my phone rings. It is just so quiet and having my phone ring really scared me.
Don't you dare tell anyone about what happened yesterday.
I bet you can guess who it was from.
Too late.
I texted him back and continued walking throughout the campus. Everyone is still sleeping so I'm out here alone which is good. I need to be alone right now.
(Y/N). Who did you tell?
Is it really any of your business?
Yeah
Sorry no it's not. I can tell anybody anything I want. You are not in control of me.
I may not be in control of you but you are scared of me which means that you will do just about anything I say. And I'm saying don't tell anybody.
Well I'm saying that I already did.
I hit send and put my phone away. I am not scared of him. Not in the slightest. He wants me to be scared of him just so he will have power over me. I have news for him, he does not scare me and he will not have any power over me.
-----------------------------------------------
When it's finally time for my first class I get inside and go to my locker. Oh and guess what, Ethan is standing there waiting. My morning could not get any better. To make things worse when I see him standing there leaned up against the lockers with his arms crossed over his chest I get that stupid urge to kiss him again. Why?
"Move." I say when I get to my locker.
"No I don't think I will." He says back to me with that stupid smirk on his face.
"Ethan. Move."
"And why should I?" Why is he so mean now? I know that he can be nice. He was last night, and that expression on his face before he moved my hair seemed so sincere like he really cared about me. I don't understand how he could go form that to this. And I don't understand how I still want to kiss him. I am seriously going crazy.
"Whatever." I mutter to him and go on to class. I don't need to stop at my locker right now anyway.
"I really wish you would stop being so rude to me." Ethan says while walking up beside of me.
"And I really wish that you would leave me alone for once."
"You say that but I think you actually love that I always mess with you." He whispers in my ear sending shivers down my back. The bad thing is, I couldn't deny it because he is completely right. And I really hate that. I ignore him and keep walking. I don't have to answer him.
Just as I'm about to talk inside the classroom Ethan pushes me up against the wall, smiles cruelly at me, and walks inside. I simply sigh and walk inside too. Crazy how some people, Ethan, can be so nice one night but evil the next. I honestly don't understand it. Class goes by quickly and Ethan doesn't do anything too badly, just the occasional kicking of my desk, knocking papers out of my hands, saying rude things to me. Nothing too bad. He doesn't follow me to my locker either which is great. He actually leaves me alone the rest of the day.
One strange thing that did happen was when I was leaving my final class I walked outside to go to my dorm and I saw him sitting under a tree with his friends but he just watched me walk by. He never did anything to me like he normally would. He just watched me with the same expression as last night.
—————————————————————
"Well just text me when he's gone." Ashlee says and leaves the room leaving me to wait on Ethan. I'm so nervous about being alone with him. I don't know if he's going to be nice and mean. I hate not knowing what to expect. Ethan is so unpredictable and it's hard to know how he will act around me. I won't have to wait too long to find out because I hear a knock at the door. I stand up quickly and open it. Ethan walks in puts his books down and takes a seat without saying a word. Okay weird. I go sit down too and get my book out to start.
"So just do this page and it should help you for the test tomorrow." I tell him. He again doesn't say anything and starts to work. It is so awkward. He's not saying anything which is weird. He won't even look at me.
He finishes up in about thirty minutes and just mutters a thank you, again weird, and leaves. I stay sitting there on my bed shocked. He didn't once look at me or say anything mean. He didn't say one sarcastic comment or anything. It's so odd.
-----------------------------------------------
The rest of the week is the same exact way. He doesn't even bother me at school. The only I even talk to him is to tell him that I won't tutor him on Friday. I tell Ashlee about it and she thinks is weird too. Has he just gotten tired of bullying me? Maybe but the weirdest part is that I find him looking at me with that caring look a lot more lately but the second he knows I'm watching him he shakes it away and replaces it with a scowl. He needs to make up his mind. He either cares for me or he doesn't.
Finally after a long, awkward day at school it's over and time for the weekend. I leave to go to my locker and as I turn around the corner I run into Dylan. I haven't talked to him since the day him and Ethan got into a fight and I had to break it up. Oh and since he told me that he didn't want anything to do with me.
"Sorry." I say quickly.
"No its okay I actually wanted to talk to you." He says and follows me outside.
"About what?"
"I wanted to apologize about how I treated you. I was just mad about Ethan and I didn't mean to say anything like that to you. I believe you when you say that you and him have nothing going on. And I was wondering if you would give me another chance?" He asks sounding hopeful.
"Of course." I tell him with a smile.
"Fantastic. How about we go out tonight? I know a bar/grill just down the street. It's a lot of fun." He says while smiling.
"That would be great." I tell him happily. We both plan when meet up and decide to even invite Ashlee and Derek. Tonight will be fun.
"See you at eight then?" Dylan asks to make sure.
"Yep." I tell him and we both leave to go get ready. Just as I turn around to leave I see Ethan walking away. Perfect. Whatever, he can get over it. It’s not that he likes me otherwise he would have done something.
————————————————————— "Double dating will be so much fun!" Ashlee says while fixing her hair. Oh Ashlee is just so enthusiastic about everything which is a reason I like her so much. She can make the worst thing sound great.
"What should I wear?" I ask while looking through my clothes. I want tonight to go well. I really like Dylan,he is just so nice.
"I don't know. Your style is so different from mine. Just wear whatever you feel like." I decide to wear a pair of my skinny jeans, boots, and one of my baggy sweaters. It's casual and seems like a good thing to wear to a bar and grill. Ashlee wears something similar to me but wears flats instead of boots. I fix my hair and just in time too. I get a text from Dylan saying that him and Derek is outside waiting. Ashlee and I grab our things to go on our double date.
"You look amazing. By the way, I know the owner so we won’t get ID for drinks if you guys are up for it." Dylan says when we see them. I can feel my cheeks blush and I tell him thank you. We all get in Dylan’s car and drive down to the bar. It seems as if the while school is there. This place must be a good place to be on a Friday night when there is no hockey game. Thinking about hockey makes me think about Ethan and how I saw him walking away after I was talking to Dylan. Whatever, tonight I'm not even going to think about Ethan. I'm just going to focus on having fun.
We find a table and sit our things down and immediately go dance. Everyone here is on the dance floor so everyone is pushed tightly together. Dylan and I are extremely close but that's okay I guess. We start dancing together. The last time I danced with him Ethan interrupted. It's nice to actually dance with him without being interrupted. He places his hands on my hips and we just sway back and forth to the beat of the music. It's nice.
"This is fun isn't it?" Dylan asks about an hour or so after we get to the bar.
"It is." I say back to him with a smile.
"I'm going to go get some drinks. I'll be back in a minute." He tells me and leaves. I go and sit down at the table and wait for him.
I haven't seen Ashlee and Derek since we got here but there are so many people here it's hard to tell where they have gone too. I look around and spot those eyes. He is just standing against a wall with his arms crossed looking at me. Grayson and his friends are not far away from him. He is just watching me with a smirk. So the old Ethan is back. Awesome. I tear my eyes away from him and just wait on Dylan.
Not even a second later I receive a text from none other than Ethan.
Having fun?
I was until I saw that you were here.
Aw now don't be like that
You know I liked you a whole lot better when you weren't speaking to me for some unknown reason.
You don't need to know that reason
Nobody said I did
Why are you here with that guy anyway?
Why does it matter to you? I send to him. Why does he even care? He shouldn't care. It's none of his business anyway.
You really know how to dance don't you?
You've been watching me?
I have
Look you seriously need to leave me alone. This is getting weird. You have been watching me all night and it's a bit creepy. So just stop.
I would but I just can't.
I stare at that last text and never reply. This is getting so weird. He can't leave me alone? Why not, he hates me, he shouldn't even want to be around me. I don't have time to think about it anymore because Dylan arrives back.
"Come on. Let's go dance again." I tell him while pulling him back to the dance floor. He happily follows me. When we get back out to the dance floor I see Ethan with some blonde girl who looks so wasted. They are grinding. I feel so mad over that. Actually I think I'm jealous. I don't want another girl dancing with him. I don't want him interested in anybody but me. What is wrong with me?
So I decide to see if Ethan will get jealous too. I grab Dylan’s hands and put them on my waist and grind. Ethan eyes immediately darken and his expression is replaced with a scowl. He looks so angry and yes it's hot. I just smirk knowing that he feels jealous too. What do I do? I just continue dancing with Dylan making Ethan angrier and angrier each second of doing so. Ethan suddenly let's go of the blonde girl and storms out of the bar. All I do is smile. I win.
————————————————————
After about another hour we leave the bar. Ethan never did come back inside. Good. I did have a really good night with Dylan. It was nice to have a night out without getting knocked into a wall by Ethan. Very nice actually. We grab our things and walk outside to leave. I found Ashlee and Derek finally. So the four of us leave.
"Tonight was so much fun." Dylan says and drapes his arm around my waist pulling me close to him.
"It was." I smile up at him.
"You know Dylan, I thought that you would have learned last time to just stay away from her." I hear Ethan’s chilling voice say. He steps out of the shadows and walks slowly over to us.
"Ethan you can't tell me what to do. She wanted to come out with me tonight. Can you just leave us alone?" Dylan says back to him.
“No I don't think I can." Ethan says and glances at me while still walking towards us.
"Oh I do think you can." I can feel Dylan tensing up. Ethan is now standing right in front of us. He is tensed up too. This is not going to be good.
"Just come on." I say quietly to Ethan trying to make him leave.
"Ethan, what is your problem anyway?" He asks him.
"She deserves better than someone like you." Ethan tells him.
"Like who? Someone like you?"
“(Y/N), get out of the way please." Ethan asks me. I step out of Dylan’s arm and walk away. I don't know why I decided to listen to him but I did and it's a good thing too.
"Now Dylan, I believe it's time that you learned to stay away from her when I say so." Ethan says and lunges forward to hit Dylan.
Dylan doesn't even get a chance to hit him back before Ethan has him on the ground throwing punch after punch at his face. I stand there in complete shock not knowing what to do. I hear everyone yelling and trying to pull Ethan off but he won't budge. I can see the pure anger in his eyes as he is beating up Dylan.
Dylan’s nose is just bleeding and he isn't even trying to fight back anymore. I have to stop Ethan. I can't let him do this. I go forward and bend down and grab Ethan’s arm causing him to look at me. Dylan did manage to get one punch in because Ethan’s eye is starting to bruise. Ethan just looks at me and the anger is gone and replaced with the caring expression. I don't even have to say anything he just gets up and leaves Dylan lying on the ground.
He walks away and goes down the street. I follow him even though I can hear Ashlee yelling for me to stay. Something is making me follow him. We walk in silence for a very, very long time before he stops. We are standing somewhere away from everything. It's just us and the trees. Everything is so quiet.
"Why did you do that?" I ask.
"Do what?" He asks.
"Fight him."
"Because."
"E that's not an answer."
"What do you want me to say? That I can't stand seeing you with other guys that aren't me? That I get angry anytime he even talks to you?"
"I want you to give me an answer. Why did you beat him up for absolutely nothing?" I ask a bit more angry this time.
"Like I told him, he needed to learn when I say stay away from you I mean it."
"But why? Tell me that. Why does he have to stay away from me?"
"Because." Ethan growls out.
"Tell me why." Ethan doesn't tell me why. Instead he pulls me by my waist as close as he can to him. He looks me into the eyes and they just soften. I know exactly what this expression is now. He brushes the hair out of my face and kisses me softly on my lips. I don't resist either, I just kiss him back. There is so much passion in this one kiss that it leaves me dizzy and breathing heavy. When Ethan pulls back he looks me in the eyes and smiles a small smile.
"(Y/N), please just be mine. I can't handle it anymore. I need you. You win.” He says.

Happy New Year everyone!! To celebrate the great occasion of a new year, we've come to present you with this year's theme description post!! Under the cut you'll find the official descriptions for 2018's Bingo themes, in case you were stuck or just needed a little more clarity!
Tattoos- From triskeles to burning flesh to pack symbols, tattoos have always played a very big role in Teen Wolf, and there’s no reason not to continue that trend! There are so many ways to use tattoos, so many styles and themes, from the classics to the more unique, let your creativity really shine with the most personal form of art there is!
Werewolves Are Known- What used to be one of the most popular AU tropes can easily be applied to canon now, but you can feel free to use whatever universe setting you’d like for your peice! Canon, AU, A/B/O, crossover, the only rule is that werewolves are known to exist by ATLEAST a portion of the general public- it doesn’t have to be the entire world, it can be as small as one town, just so long as a portion of the general public know werewolves exist, the choices are your’s!
Zombies- From The Walking Dead to iZombie, from Afterlife With Archie to Warm Bodies, it’s safe to say that zombies have taken over modern pop culture, now it’s time to let the dead invade the world of Teen Wolf as well! You can easily make a zombie crossover with HUNDREDS of different media sources, or you can create your own universe and mythology- you could even set it in the Teen Wolf universe! Be it due to science or magic or something in between, the dead are rising, now will Stiles and Derek defeat them? Or… are Stiles and Derek PART of them…?
Witch & Familiar- The theme of a witch and a werewolf working together as two halves of an unstoppable pair has been popular with the Sterek fandom since the beginning, and though it’s usually Emissary!Stiles lending his assistance to Alpha!Derek, it might be fun to switch things around with Derek as a familiar lending his assistance to witch!Stiles- or the reverse! Perhaps you’d like to mix things up and make it witch!Derek and familiar!Stiles, whatever inspires you, feel free to let it run wild!
Bodyguard- Bodyguards have always had a certain appeal to them, be they for a celebrity, a politician, a member of royalty, or- most recently- even for a hitman, there’s just something inherently romantic about a person putting your life before their own, and now it’s time to apply that to Sterek! Be it one protecting the other, both as bodyguards working together, rival bodyguards, it doesn’t matter really, just as long as there’s some life saving (or .. life protecting?) going on, it’s all good here!
Hospital (Hurt/Wounded)- As it turns out, people really love wump! We had so many similar themes that we sort of boiled them down into this- if it involves Derek or Stiles (or both) being injured, ill, in a hospital, or even just emotionally wounded, if there’s some sort of pain involved you’ve got the right theme! Bonus points if you can incorporate multiple styles of using this theme!
Fantasy/Fairytale- From Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella to Alice In Wonderland and The Wizard Of Oz, fantasy and fairytales have always been part of culture, and with the rise of live action remakes like Beauty And The Beast, retellings of old classics like Kubo And The Two Strings, and the creation of modern fairytales like Moana, they seem to be more popular than ever! Let yourself be inspired by the fantastic world around you and carve out a new- or old!- fairytale or fantasy world for Stiles and Derek to be part of!
Spies/Assassin- With Dylan O'Brien starring in American Assassin and Tyler Hoechlin as a leading role in Stratton, the Sterek fandom has certainly had assassins and spies on the brain lately, and Sterek Bingo is getting in on the trend! From legends that Derek is a killer by the name of La Lobo, to the fact that Mitch sounds suspiciously like a nickname for Miecyslaw, there’s certainly alot of in-universe references to work with, and plenty of Hobrien related projects to play with too, or- and ofcourse this is always encouraged- go with your own thing! Let these two cuties start putting the “Fun” back in funeral!
Roadtrip- Who doesn’t love a good roadtrip? Junk food, awesome tunes, stupid car games, the inevitable moment when someone stares at the trees too long and gets car sick.. roadtrips!! Time to let Derek and Stiles enjoy- er… “enjoy”?- all of the wonders of spending an obscene amount of time alone in a car together- or not alone, there’s always the possibility of a family trip or a pack trip too- where are they going? On vacation? Away from Beacon Hills? On a mission to stop a random villain? Or does the destination even matter at all if you have barbecue potato chips, coca cola, and The Eagles on a four-disc set?
Thunderstorm- To some, thunderstorms are soothing, to others, they’re terrifying, but one thing is universal about them- they make for GREAT fan tropes! Let your headcanons loose with this one, does Stiles find the pelting of the rain and soft rolling thunder to be soothing? Does Derek have to cover his sensitive werewolf ears each time he hears a storm approaching? Maybe after The Wild Hunt their perspectives have shifted, or maybe there’s no emotional or psychological attachment at all and they just get caught in the rain after their car breaks down, whatever it is, let the ideas pour down like rain!
The Bite- The Bite is a gift…. right? Well, it’s finally time to make that decision for yourself! Be it a gift, a curse, or something in-between, the point of this theme is all about the bite…. now, it doesn’t //have// to be a werewolf bite, it could be from a vampire, an incubus, or… er.. a human… not every bite has to be transformative, sometimes it’s just kinky, other times it’s about marking a mate or keeping a pack together or- .. really about anything you want it to be about! As long as there’s biting, it’s fine by us!
Monster Of The Week- Ahh the famous Monster Of The Week, popularized by shows like The X-Files and Buffy The Vampire Slayer, to those unfamiliar, the Monster Of The Week idea is about episodic storytelling rather than linear storytelling, one week Buffy fights a sea monster, the next she fights a goblin, and the creatures have no connection to eachother, in terms of fandom, it’s sort of the same idea, choose a monster- any monster!- and create a peice about Stiles and Derek… fighting it, helping it, creating it, heck maybe one of them even IS it, this would be a great chance to flex the Paranormal Investigator AU muscle, but it doesn’t matter what the monster is or how they relate to the story, as long as it’s got a random monster involved, it fits!
Vacation- I think it’s safe to say that Stiles and Derek deserve a vacation right about now, don’t you? They can go anywhere in the world! Hawaii, New York, Tokyo, Paris, even some random small town in Nebraska, all that matters is that they’re away from Beacon Hills and intend to have a break in life… now, if it happens to get interrupted or not, that’s entirely up to you, they can do anything and be anywhere as long as the intention is to have a break from the hell-town they were born in!
Magic Gone Wrong- Magic is an incredible and dangerous thing, for all of the advantages magic has, it certainly brings some disadvantages along with it as well, magic is not an exact science, and at times that’s great! At others… not so much, and for every instance of magic going RIGHT, there are surely atleast three others where it’s gone WRONG, your job is to create a peice about one of those very instances, the circumstances are completely up to you, as long as it involves magic that didn’t *QUITE* go the way it was intended to
Heartbeat- Hearbeats can oftentimes be the soothing reminder that someone is alive… or the cold shock that they aren’t, or, for werewolves, a very convenient tracking device, be it a tool for tracking, spying, or gaining some form of comfort, werewolf hearing has certainly made heartbeats an important tool in the Teen Wolf toolbag, and now it’s time for you to expand on that! Take any genre and any purpose you want to expand on this theme, the only point is that someone’s heartbeat is involved!
Mermaid- Ah mermaids, one of mythology’s most famous figures, they can be sweet and beautifull… or vicious and hideous, depending on your source, but every culture seems to have some variation on them, and the Sterek fandom has created an entire subculture involving mer!Sterek! Now it’s time to add to that! Be it with mermaids (or mermen!) who are, perhaps, involved in match-making Stiles and Derek (or fighting them) or be it Stiles or Derek (or both!) as a merman, one thing is for sure, something fishy is about to go on in the Sterek fandom (but bad puns aside are merfolk really fish? Discuss)
Yeti!Stiles- Ever since Stiles’ “Abominable Snowman” comment from season two, yeti!Stiles has… actually been shockingly small in fandom and I can’t imagine why! For such an easy trope-grab it seems to mostly swoop under the radar, now it’s time for you to change that! Create a peice involving Stiles as an abominable snowman (or “yeti”, as is probably more politically correct) it can be canon or AU or maybe a mix of the two, just as long as Stiles becomes Bigfoot’s colder-climate loving cousin, it’s all good here!
Dogs- Who doesn’t love dogs? From Yorkies to German Shepherds and everything in between, dogs are often thought of to be man’s best freind for a reason, but for Sterek? Mostly they’re just the source of unending werewolf puns! Be it that Stiles and Derek get a dog, or that Derek is, in his wolf form, MISTAKEN for a dog, the only important thing is that dogs- big or small- are in some way involved with Stiles, Derek, and the puppy love they have for eachother! (See, what did I say about the puns?)
Protective!Sterek- From episode 1 to episode 100, one thing has always been true of Sterek, it’s a relationship based not on arguing or banter or love/hate, it’s based on protecting eachother, keeping eachother safe, the first time they’re alone together Stiles tries to save Derek’s life, and ever since it’s been almost a game of who can protect the other next, who can save the other first, now it’s time to once again let that foundation shine in fandom! Create any peice featuring Stiles protecting Derek, Derek protecting Stiles, or even a combination of the two! These two are always trying to best eachother in the protection game after all, so why not feature both?
Dad!Sterek- I don’t know about you, but one of my all-time favorite things is Derek and Stiles as parents! Be they single parents, just meeting for the first time, have been married for twenty-five years and already seven kids, or fall somewhere in between, I just love these two as dads, and I hope you do too! The only requirement for this one is that one or both of the pair have atleast one child, let your imagination go all soft and fluffy for this adorable theme!
Fears/Phobias- A theme that, coincidentally, played a large part in the very last episode of Teen Wolf, playing with a charector’s fears or phobias can be great for both charector and plot building, and can without a doubt create some of the best peices fandom has to offer, be it with canonical phobias presented in the series, things you’ve headcanoned for them yourself, or an AU where everything is up for grabs, the goal here is to create fear for Stiles, Derek, or both- and hopefully, somehow, comfort those fears, though that part isn’t entirely necessary to fit to the theme
Amusement Park- And now for a break from the fear, it’s time to go someplace that’s (usually) considerably less terrifying- an amusement park! Disneyland, Six Flags, Universal Studios, as long as it’s an amusement park and Stiles and Derek are there, it works! It doesn’t even have to be a real-world place, there’s obviously nothing wrong with creating your own and running with it, one of the best things about amusement parks, after all, is the imagination the creators put into it
Celebrity/Famous- I’m sure at one point or another most of us have imagined what it might be like to be famous, now it’s time to put those imaginations to use and imagine what it would be like if Stiles, Derek, or both of them were famous instead! Actors, musicians, social media stars, even royalty, if the papparazzi is interested in them and they have a fanbase, they count!
Leaving Beacon Hills- Let’s be honest here, nothing good ever happens in Beacon Hills, and as the last two episodes of Teen Wolf proved, getting away from that place seems to do good for people’s health, now it’s time to treat Derek and Stiles to something other than horrors and traumas and get them out of there! It can be for good, or just on vacation, just on a work trip even, the point of this theme is to get them away from the town that wants to instill nothing but horror in these boys, and I think fandom can come up with plenty of ways to do that!
Christmas Baby!Derek- Here’s a fun fact, my first ever Sterek fic was written because I love Christmas Baby Derek THAT much, there’s just something about this soft little peach being born on Christmas that makes everything in the world a little cuter- and Stiles probably feels the same way, now it’s your turn to show some appreciation for one of the cutest Derek factoids around! No matter if Derek loves it, hates it, or feels indifferent towards it, we certainly know how WE feel about it, and we’d love to see how you feel about creating a Christmas Baby!Derek peice!
Flower Crowns- Is there anything fluffier and prettier than a flower crown? Probably not, so let’s celebrate them! There’s just something peacefull about seeing a charector with flowers in their hair, and now it’s your turn to add to the (surprisingly large) flower crown portion of the fandom! Be it fluff or humor or something softly somber, these boys deserve ALL of the flower crowns and it’s our intention to give them to them!
Bookstore- Ahh bookstores, the foundation of a large number of meet-cutes, meet-uglies, and things that have nothing to do with meeting at all, it’s pretty obvious that Stiles and Derek both love to read, so let’s put that love to use and introduce a bookstore into the mix! Chain store? Used store? Weird eccentric “This has been out of print for fifty years but we still have a copy” store? It doesn’t matter as long as it sells books and involves Sterek!
Hello Again- After spending time apart, it’s nice to say “Hello” again… be it a canonical separation, or something that happened in an AU, post-canon or canon-divergent, the goal of this theme is Stiles and Derek reuniting again after spending time apart, the reunion can be happy or sad, by chance or planned, it doesn’t matter in the end, all that matters is the two of them reconnecting after having spent time apart, and finally saying “Hello” again
Accidental Baby Acquisition- One of the oldest (and one of my favorite) fandom tropes there is, Accidental Baby Acquisition is much how it sounds, it’s about accidentally coming into possession of a baby! The means can be through magic, through stumbling upon a child in the woods, the classic “baby on a doorstep”, or any other situation you can possibly think of, all that matters is that Derek and Stiles accidentally find themselves caring for a baby!
Wild Card- This is the obligatory bingo square in the very middle where you can do absolutely anything you want! That’s right. There’s no restriction, no guideline, no THEME! It’s your freebie to do anything you may have been wanting to do, but haven’t really had the time or inspiration to do until now- here’s your chance. Now go forth and create Sterek!

Wes Ball talks shooting that intense ‘Death Cure’ Newt scene, plus whether he’d answer a call from Marvel
Director Wes Ball wraps up his Maze Runner Trilogy experience by discussing his favorite Death Cure featurette, if he’d do a Fever Codemovie, and more!
It’s a rare occurrence to find yourself helming a popular YA book-to-film adaptation as your first feature-length film, but even more so to go on to do an entire three-film franchise. Wes Ball exploded onto the scene with The Maze Runner, and subsequently directed The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure, each starring up-and-comer Dylan O’Brien.
Now that Death Cure is out today, April 24, on Digital via Movies Anywhere and on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD, Ball took the time to talk to us about his experience directing the final movie in the franchise and what’s next for him as a filmmaker. You can find a transcript of our conversation below, which has been edited for clarity.
I just want to start off by saying congratulations on getting through all three movies. That doesn’t always happen!
Well thank you! It’s true, it’s true. It’s pretty rare right?
Yeah! And obviously we’re here to celebrate the release of ‘The Death Cure’ DVD, Blu-ray, and the box set.
Which is cool! My first big movie, and I have a box set!
Right?! So, I want to kick this off with asking you which is your favorite bonus feature from the ‘Death Cure’ Blu-ray?
That’s a good question. I don’t know. I’ll tell you what I think people will like. My favorites might not be what most favorites are. Obviously there is the commentary stuff where T.S. [Nowlin] and I, in tradition of the previous interviews, talk about the inner workings of the movie. Which is kind of fun. But I think the really die-hard fans have always loved these gag reels that I put together.
Yes!
There will be a good gag reel. We had a lot of fun making this movie and people will get to see it. I had, like, 30 minutes of material. Of course, I could not release that. I think it ended up being 12 minutes of this fun stuff, you know. So that’ll be good for the fans to have. And then you know, second to that, there’s a lot of great deleted scenes. And there’s a ton of deleted scenes that I unfortunately had to cut from the movie because it just is what it is. But that can be a lot of fun for the people that really love these stories and want to see more. They’re not just gonna get extra little bits of scenes — they’re going to see whole new scenes that are going to be kind of fun to watch, I think. A lot of them are unfinished, of course, but you’ll get an idea of where our heads were when we were making this thing. So that’ll be fun.
And the last thing from me… You probably don’t want to know about my favorite things because I’m such a VFX nerd, but we did a lot of VFX stuff on this. To show, for instance, the train sequence, you know the very opening, but I don’t think people realize how much visual effects were used during that sequence. And so I have the whole train sequence that runs with the original plates — the green screen visual effects plates — running alongside the finished sequence, and it’s fun to really sit there and scrub through that and witness, sort of like you know, ‘Oh wow, he wasn’t actually on a moving train there,’ or, ‘That was all CG,’ or whatever. You know what I mean? So that’s going to be a lot of fun for the geeks that like that kind of stuff.
And you can’t even tell, so I think that’s going to be really cool to get to see.
Yeah, and people don’t even realize that all that train stuff was CG. Dylan was never on a moving train, you know? Which is cool.

It’s crazy. And going back to the gag reel, I love gag reels. It’s the first thing I always go to when I get a new movie.
I know, right?
But kind of on the flip side of that, was there a different sort of tone behind the scenes since this was the last movie, and will fans get to see a glimpse of that by being able to watch the special features on the Blu-ray?
I don’t think so. It was a different experience for me, which I could probably never put into words, but I don’t think it manifested itself in any way that the other movies hadn’t on set. We all know each other. We also love each other. We’re all kinda one big happy little family — this traveling circus that goes across the world making movies together. So it’s still kinda the same fun crowd and stupid silly gags with each other that always seem to happen. We have a lot of fun making these movies, you know? So it is fun to see it, but I don’t think there’s any kind of difference, other than we knew that this was the end. This was it.
Right. And given that it was the end, did you feel like you approached the movie any differently, or did you feel a different kind of pressure on your shoulders or even relief that it was the last move?
Yeah, I guess I was very aware. This movie is almost laser focused on the fans, right? We kind of know that we’re not going to gain a lot of new fans for a third movie of an installment, you know what I mean? So it was really about how do we make this satisfying conclusion — you know, a grand kind of farewell — to the story, these characters, the audience that supported us. That was the pressure. How do we stick that landing, you know what I mean? So you kind of make those choices that you think are going to work early on. You do it while you’re writing the script. And then you’re kind of hoping and trusting that those choices you made then apply when you’re on set because you can’t change it when you’re on set. It takes too much money and too much time. It’s all about speed, speed, speed; go, go, go. So we don’t change anything. So it’s just about, can we execute this as well as possible so that the fans feel satisfied by the end? And for the most part it seems like, you know, the people that really support these movies feel very happy about this one. This last one. I like that. That’s a great thing, you know? I’m happy.

I completely agree. And there are so many great scenes, in all three movies, but especially this one that really had me on the edge of my seat. How do you manage to keep that tension so palpable, especially when you’re shooting these scenes multiple times to make sure they’re just right?
Yeah, I know. It’s the job. You know, it’s tricky. I was talking to someone about this the other day. That suspense, that feeling of anticipation of knowing what’s going to happen and waiting for it to happen. And how long can you draw that out to keep the audience in that place on the edge of their seat kind of thing. I love that feeling. That’s, to me, kind of our stock and trade with these moves. All these movies, you know? All the way from Thomas first waking up in the elevator. It has this kind of, ‘What the hell is going on?’ So BOOM, we reveal where he is. And then that scene where he runs in the maze for the first time. How we draw it out.
You know, the same thing here, with, say, Thomas and Newt when they’re at one of their critical moments. You know, how do we draw that out as long as possible so you can really just enjoy that, which is something that cinema does so well, right? It’s that suspense and the thrill and the adventure and the drama. The emotional kind of stakes that are involved in this movie, they’re fun to play with. This movie in particular is super, super emotional. Where the movie mostly operates is where these characters are going to end up. How is this going to go down? It’s not so much about how they’re going to get away from WCKD, how they’re going to escape the maze. This one is about… are they going to save their friends and are they going to die trying? That’s kinda cool. That’s fun to play with.
And speaking of Newt and a lot of emotions, this movie obviously saw the end to Newt in a really horrific way. Was that difficult for you to shoot as a director, given that you’ve been in charge of the film version of this overarching story for three movies and several years?
Yeah. I mean… it is really funny. Like I was talking about before, you make these choices months and months in advance, and that’s where you’re really contemplating it all. But when you’re on set, it’s like you don’t have time! When we shot that scene that you’re talking about, it was one of the biggest wind storms that Capetown had ever seen. Huge, huge, 70-80 mile an hour winds! To the point where we had to lower cranes and lower our lights and on the spot we had to change our plans and figure out how to get this scene done. So that’s kind of on the day what I’m dealing with. How do I wrangle the elements to get the stuff I need?
On top of, you know, making sure that Dylan and Thomas and those guys are kind of operating in the right place for the experience we want to give the audience. But at this point, having been with these guys for five years, it’s a pretty easy conversation. We can all talk about what we want to see happen. They know these characters very well, we’re all on the same page, we have similar taste, so it ends up being very easy. So then it’s just my job to sit back and kind of check and make sure we are threading that needle. Hitting that sweet spot between horror and emotion and all those things, you know? That day in particular, it stands out in my mind for sure because of how emotional it was and also the sheer effort of trying to film it. But yeah, it was fun. And it is different from the books, but it seems for the most part the book fans are happy with that scene, which was very important to them to be in the movie.

And I know that this is going to be a pretty difficult question, but looking back at all three movies, which moments make you the proudest as a filmmaker? Which ones really stand out to you?
Oh gosh. That is a difficult question, isn’t it? Well I answered this one before once, and it’s probably not what people would expect, but there was a scene in the first movie where Thomas and Newt and those guys are having a conversation. They’re talking in the woods, and they’re talking about Alby — Alby’s past, his story — and I always go back to that scene for some reason in the first movie because it’s not an action scene. You know, it’s not some big complicated set piece thing. It’s just this simple little scene where these actors do their thing. And that was like, for me, early on in the shoot, and I remember that day because, being my first movie I felt very confident with the action stuff and the visual effects side of things. I felt like I could handle that stuff. That felt familiar to me even though it was my first movie, but it was the dramatic kind of character/actor-based stuff that was a complete unknown to me, right? And I just remember shooting that scene and feeling like, I love this. I want to do more of this. You know, it kind of made me — it’s all obvious of course — but the fact that characters and the actors that represent them are so crucial to things. And it’s because of that scene that you care about them being hurt later. It was kind of the moment where I realized how important the simple, subtle stuff is to support the bigger fun adventure stuff.
I think you see it even in the second movie and the third movie. I get more and more into the kind of emotional drama of things. Especially in the third movie. It’s more centered around character than the previous movies completely. So yeah, it’s usually that kind of stuff that I go back to. It’s more like things that kind of changed my outlook on moviemaking as a director. More than, say, “Oh, we accomplished that big giant train scene.”
James Dashner has talked about wanting to see an adaptation of ‘Fever Code.’ What do you think the likelihood of that happening would be and would you be interested in taking part in that?
I won’t be making a [Fever Code] movie, personally. I’ve done my movies here. You know, 1, 2, 3, beginning, middle, and end. It’s a good number, you know? I’m done with this story. Not that I wouldn’t offer my help to anyone who wanted to tackle that. I’m certainly not opposed to it. I don’t know how you would do it exactly, but hey, where there’s a will there’s a way. But for me, personally, as a director, I’m done. These movies are it for me.

And on that note, I guess, what are you working on next?
W: Well, that’s the question! It’s been fun, obviously, because I’m really excited to kind of move on to other things, of course. I am working on something now that’s this gigantic kind of fantasy epic that is really exciting. It’s still early days. Who knows. A million things could happen, if something else will come up or something else will take precedent, but it’s kind of where I’m at right now. It’s conjuring up the things I always loved when I grew up watching Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark, and these kinds of movies that are really great escapist entertainment — world creation — and at the same time taking them very seriously. Making a story that feels very real, you know? So I’m working on something now that might be that, might check off those boxes for me. But I dunno. It’s still kind of up in the air a little bit.
I guess the good thing from these movies is that I have opportunities to do something else. Which is great. I’m very thankful for that, you know? That they’re successful enough that someone wants for me to make another movie and give me the money to do so. I love that and that’s fantastic — I just want to make sure whatever I do next is going to be really exciting and fun and challenging. I’m not sure what it’ll be, exactly, but it’ll fit somewhere in that world.
Absolutely. That sounds very exciting. For my last question, this one’s fun and completely random to end our chat, but if Marvel called you up right now and asked you what movie you’d like to direct, would you say yes and which one would you pick?
Oh gosh. I have to say, I don’t know, honestly. I think we’ve all kind of seen these filmmakers who dive into these gigantic franchises — pre-existing franchises — and they don’t come out the same people. They don’t come out having loved the experience sometimes. So I’m very aware of that, and I have to say I’ve been spoiled a little bit by The Maze Runner and the support I’ve gotten at Fox because it was about starting a new franchise. How many people get that opportunity, to start a new franchise and not jump onto a Star Wars movie or jump onto a Marvel movie. That’s really kind of exciting. So hey, if someone were to call me and hand me an opportunity, I’d certainly have to consider it, but I have to admit I didn’t grow up on comics — I grew up on movies — so they don’t have the kind of nostalgia and pull on me that other movies would, you know what I mean? Other movies that I may have grown up with. So yeah. I don’t know. In terms of Marvel, they obviously have their formula, their system that is working bonkers for them. They’re making a ton of money and people are enjoying their movies and stuff, but I don’t think they need me! I mean, clearly not!

Well, I’ve been a fan since the first ‘Maze Runner’ movie, and I know everybody at Hypable is eagerly looking forward to seeing what you do next. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye out.
Me too! I really appreciate that. And I do think that whatever we do next, it’ll be what we kind of need as moviegoers right now. You know we’re seeing a lot of the same stuff, and I’m really anxious to break the mold a little bit and do something completely new and original. So, you know, we’ll see. Fingers crossed.

Part 2 Part 3
Lost In The Deep End
''Are you excited for homecoming?!" You could hear an ecstatic voice from beside you at the lockers.
''Yes omg Dylan finally asked me to the dance!'' The other girl replied equally as happy. You finished putting your book into your locker and closed it shut, turning to head down the hallway seeing it was time to head home. Homecoming was tonight and fortunately for you, you managed to score a date. His name was Matthew and he was really sweet and shy. You guys were just friends of course and just decided to go as friends. He was almost like a brother you never had. You both didn't manage to get dates so you guys at the last minute decided to go together.
''What will you be wearing tonight?!'' Another shrieked voice squealed.
''Oh that is so beautiful omg your going to be stunning!" These were just a few of the things you have been hearing for the past two weeks. Seeing homecoming was tonight everyone seemed to be extra hyped. The guys not so much as the girls though. For you it was just a dance, you wanted to dress up and in a beautiful dress and dance with your friends through the night. So yes you were excited, just in a different way to many of the other girls. You had your outfit planned out, but decided to wear flats with the dress seeing you were going to be dancing and heels were not going to be a good option. You could barely walk in heels, you loved them yes but your feet always seemed to ache 30 minutes in to wearing them.
''Hey Y/N!'' You turned around at the mention of your name being called out. You spun around once you exited the school doors to see a beaming Peter race up behind you.
''Whoa, slow down Usain Bolt!'' You joke as he came hurdling towards you. He stopped, slightly out of breath and wiped the sweat that had collected on his forehead. Peter and you had been neighbours since you were in diapers. You practically grew up with Peter. As an observant person yourself apart from your best friend MJ you noticed that his behaviour has been on and off for the past nine months. No matter how many times you tried asking him about it or snooping you never got to figure it out. You were worried to start with when he started turning up to school with bruises covered with poorly applied makeup. You would ask him what had happened and he would refuse to tell you. You often grew angry with him, helping him cover up his bruises better with some of your makeup you kept in your school backpack.
''Trust me it's nothing... bad'' He would always say, not really sure how to put it. You could never stay mad at Peter so often you would just smiled and shake your head, helping him. You guys weren't close as to say but during the time you started helping him cover his 'bruises' that he got from 'falling over' you guys had inevitably became... close. You never saw Peter in any other way apart from platonic. Yeah you thought he was cute and very smart but you were often attracted to the bad guys who often left you with a broken heart. Peter always there seeming to pick up the pieces. That's when you first started falling for him, he was the only one truly there for you so you couldn't help it. I mean... how could you not fall for a guy like Peter Benjamin Parker.
''What's up dork?'' You asked out sarcastically as he stopped in front of you. He just shook his head at the nickname you use for him.
''Your going to be at homecoming tonight, right?'' He asks, fiddling with his backpack straps. You smile. You two began to walk out the entrance together, heading home.
''Yeah, Me and Matthew are heading together as friends'' You cringed on the inside when you added the extra 'friends' bit on the end.
''Matthew and I'' Peter corrects causing you to playfully push his shoulder.
''Whatever'' You replied back causing the both of you to laugh. You both stopped around the corner once you saw the burned down deli shop you both head to often. You sighed once you saw it, hearing what happened not a week ago. Peter follows your eye sight and clenches his jaw once he sees what you were looking at.
''Isn't it scary?'' You ask out rhetorically. Peter stumbled over his words, not realising you were just speaking aloud.
''Well y-yeah definitely- not that I would know or anything- you know... Hmm yup definitely... scary'' He would finish causing you to laugh at the boy.
''How one moment everythings going... fine then the next out of nowhere...'' You trailed off, your eyes not leaving the scene.
''Your whole world flips upside down'' Peter glanced at you, admiring the way you were lost deep in thought. He couldn't help but to shake this nagging feeling he got when looking at you. Almost like this moment was too good to be true. But what really concerned him was the worry he felt. Why was he worried? He drew it down to his date with Liz at homecoming tonight. He had finally asked out his crush and he was over the moon! He had asked May to teach him some dance moves and dragged out to go shopping for a tux and tie.
You glance down to your watch to see the time. 4:36pm.
''Shit I gotta go'' You said aloud, pulling Peter from his thoughts.
''Hmm?'' He asks, not hearing what you had just said.
''I gotta get ready!'' You rushed out excitedly, turning on your heel to beginning running down the footpath towards home.
''It doesn't start till 7!'' He calls after you. You stopped where you were and turned around with a sheepish smile.
''Yeah but I need to get ready!'' You called back.
''You have an hour and twenty four minutes!'' He yells back, causing you to laugh. You turn back around and begin to run.
''One hour and twenty three minutes!'' He calls out after you laughing.
''Shut it Parker!" You called back. He knew you liked to take your time getting ready, as did most girls. He often teased you about it, how long you took to get ready for school. With a smile on his face he follow your direction, walking. He was in no rush seeing all he had to do was shower and change.
~Home (an hour later)
Once you tidied up your dress a bit you reached for your phone, pulling up Peter's contact.
To DorkyDiaper- Reveal time?
You put your phone down quickly and went over to your window, pulling the curtains across so you could see Peter's window. Luckily Peter's bedroom was right across yours so you guys often use to stay up late talking to each other out the window. There was only about two meters difference between your window and his.
From DorkyDiaper- Look out your window.
You read the text then looked up out the window. His curtain was now drawn and you could see him perfectly, standing there in very fitting tux, his hair gelled back. He looked hot. You reached for your phone to send another text.
To DorkyDiaper- do a twirl.
He looks at his phone then back up at you confused. You just nod your head excitedly. He rolls his eyes and does what you asked, doing a turn. Once he spun back around to face you, you smiled, clapping your hands together.
From DorkyDiaper- Your turn.
You put your phone back down and stood up, twirling around in your outfit. You did your makeup to match your outfit, painting your lips red and your eyes shadow a touch red as well, you added mascara and decided not to use eyeliner tonight.
His jaw dropped once he saw you. He thought you looked absolutely stunning. He swore his heart stop, once he saw your smile and your dress twirling out when you twirled, beginning to laugh when you felt the fabric move across your skin. It was one of the most gorgeous sights he's ever seen. He almost wished he had a camera to capture this moment. So that's what he did, as you were twirling he quickly grabbed his camera that was sitting on his desk, waiting for the perfect moment to snatch a pic of you. He managed to snap one of you spinning, your arms out and the biggest smile on your face. You stopped once you saw the flash and Peter instantly swore under his breath.
Not thinking anything of it you decided to pose, causing him to blush seeing he got caught taking a photo of you. You did a silly pose as he snapped a photo, causing you both to laugh. You guys did a few more silly photos.
You stopped posing and stood straight, your head slightly tilted to the side as you smiled at Peter. He could feel his breath hitch in his throat. He found you captivating in this moment. You began to smile that adorable smile he always loved. Realising this was the perfect moment he quickly snapped a pick, not caring if the flash was on or not. Once he took it he stared down at his camera, flicking through the photos. You left the window and went over to grab your purse, putting your phone and wallet inside and decided to take your jacket off, putting it over your shoulder for the meantime.
Once Peter reached the last photo he could have sworn his heart stopped. He took in a deep breath as he stared at the photo, the one where you stood still, slightly leaning your head with a gorgeous smile. Your eyes looking straight into the camera. He saw the twinkly of happiness in your eyes as you posed, just enjoying the moment. His cheeks began to redden, seeing how your eyes held such an intense emotion that he couldn't quite put his finger on, the only thing he knew was that she was looking at you. That alone was enough for him to have his heart racing and a giddy feeling build in his stomach. He only ever felt that with Liz... but never this intense. He watched from his window as you left your room, closing the door shut behind you. He did the same, still holding the camera in his hands. He couldn't stop starring at the photo, you were just so... beautiful he couldn't help it.
''Ready Peter?'' His Aunt May asked walking into the living room where Peter currently was. With red cheeks he lifted his head and nodded quickly, turning off his camera. Aunt May gave him a weird look and shook her head, smiling to herself. That boy is such an oblivious idiot she thought as the both of them left the apartment and headed downstairs and into the car.

For the week of 11 September 2017

Just one favourite this week: Ninjak #0 by Matt Kindt and Francis Portela (with MJ Kim, Khari Evans, Roberto de la Torre, Sija Hong, and Juan José Ryp). Published by Valiant.

Ninjak #0 provides a capstone to Matt Kindt’s run with the character, giving both an encapsulation of Ninjak’s history to date and one final mission to propel the series further into a more in-depth exploration into the Ninja Programme and legacy, before handing the character off to Christos Gage and Tomás Giorello for their new Ninja-K series.
I very much like how Kindt plays with time in this story. After firing an arrow on the first page in the present, the book’s pages are bisected by that arrow’s path, with the top telling of the events immediately leading up to that first page--illustrated by Francis Portela--and the bottom offering snippet’s of Ninjak’s history--illustrated by MJ Kim, Khari Evans, Roberto de la Torre, Sija Hong, and Juan José Ryp. (You can see an example above). It’s an interesting and effective way of delivering a lot of simultaneous information and narrative at once and I was particularly impressed by everyone involved.
As time on the top converges with the arrow, the structure reverts to a standard one timeframe narrative as it leads into a teaser for the new Ninja-K series from Gage and Giorello.
Like with the previous recent zero issue offerings for Bloodshot Reborn and Divinity, this serves as an excellent primer for people interested in the character and in jumping into the Valiant Universe.
Quick Bits:
All New Wolverine #24 wraps up the “Hive” arc guest-starring the Guardians of the Galaxy and Leonard Kirk’s tenure as artist on the series. This arc was fun, with Tom Taylor delivering some very nice and heartfelt interactions between Laura and Gabby, as well as continuing to present some strong characterization with Rocket and Groot.
| Published by Marvel

Amazing Spider-Man #32 is a single issue story of Norman Osborn trying to reclaim his Green Goblin persona. It’s an interesting look into Osborn’s drive and potential, with some absolutely beautiful artwork form Greg Smallwood & Jordie Bellaire.
| Published by Marvel

Birthright #26 provides a jumping on point as it begins a new story-arc. It’s fairly exposition heavy, but Joshua Williamson still makes it feel interesting, even to old readers since there’s a bit of a shift since the last issue. As always Andrei Bressan’s art is beautiful.
| Published by Image / Skybound

Deadpool #36 is a transitional issue from Deadpool working for “Stevil” Hydra Cap and the forthcoming Despicable Deadpool, closing out some old plot threads and sending off the remaining supporting characters, while setting up Wade’s new status quo of reluctantly working for Stryfe. As usual Gerry Duggan mixes in humour while ultimately making Deadpool a tragic figure.
| Published by Marvel

Doctor Strange & The Sorcerers Supreme #12 is a fitting send-off to a series that still feels gone to soon. From Javier Rodriguez to this issue’s Nathan Stockman, the series has been great artistically, and this issue’s sideways widescreen format is well appreciated. Robbie Thompson also brings it back full circle to how this excursion started in last year’s Doctor Strange Annual by closing on the “Not So” Ancient One’s journey.
| Published by Marvel

Grass Kings #7 is still an inscrutable beauty. Part crime drama, part mystery, part family drama, part treatise on loyalty and community in an extremely independent society, Matt Kindt and Tyler Jenkins have something special here. This issue adds another layer to the problems that they’ve been having with Cargill, while more explicitly breaking open the mystery of a potential serial killer and giving us some more details on what happened in Bruce’s past that led him to coming home to the Grass Kingdom.
| Published by BOOM! Studios

Gwenpool, The Unbelievable #20 is going to mess with your head. In a good way.
| Published by Marvel

Hulk #10 brings Mariko Tamaki’s second story-arc to a conclusion. I can’t say I enjoyed it as much as I did the first, but there have still been some entertaining moments. The character interaction between Jen and Patsy being particularly strong.
Also, like the previous issue, the art shift part way through detracts. Both artists, Julian Lopez and Francesco Gaston, are good, but their styles kind of clash. Lopez uses a thick line and somewhat realistic style similar to Jesus Saiz, whereas Gaston has a thinner line and a bit more angular, stylized character composition--much like Georges Duarte, who started this arc.
| Published by Marvel

Kill or Be Killed #12 pushes Dylan further into darkness, even without his little demon friends whispering not-so-sweet nothings into his ears. As always, Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips are creating a compelling, nuanced story month in and month out. There’s also some good development in Dylan and Kira’s relationship, but, as per the original dissolution, I’m expecting the other shoe to drop sometime soon.
| Published by Image

Mech Cadet Yu #2 brings Yu and his adopted Robo back to the Sky Academy, where he’s officially accepted as one of the cadets. The story beats are pretty standard coming of age, living through adversity by being a fish out of water, ruffling the feathers of the establishment-type thing, but Greg Pak never allows it to feel old. Yu and his Robo are just too likeable characters to not enjoy seeing their advancement and acceptance. It also helps that Takeshi Miyazawa’s artwork is wonderful.
Despite not being published under one of their more all-ages imprints like Boom! Box or kaboom!, this series remains something that I think that kids would get a lot of enjoyment out of as well.
| Published by BOOM! Studios

Old Man Logan #28 is a work of art. I don’t know who made a pact with the devil in order to consistently get this level of artwork out of Mike Deodato Jr., but whatever they did since at least the Jeff Lemire Thanos series, Deodato has been producing some of the most beautiful, thoughtful, and compelling work of his career. He’s been a great artist for more than twenty-five years in the industry, but his work lately has been absolutely next level. His shading, page layouts, character designs & staging, and panel transitions are practically a masterclass on the art form.
| Published by Marvel

Pestilence #4 unveils some secrets as we head towards the conclusion. This has been a fairly bloody and brutal tale of knights vs. zombies from Frank Tieri and Oleg Okenev and it’s not letting up. It delivers a nice satisfying crunch.
| Published by Aftershock

Redlands #2 jumps the series ahead to modern day, fleshing out the sisters’ characters and the world that they live in, having pretty much taken over Redlands, Florida following the bloodbath back in ‘77. We’re still left a lot of details out, but we’re given a better look at some of the things going on, as a game of murderous cat and mouse between the sisters and an unknown potential blackmailer unfolds. Jordie Bellaire and Vanessa Del Rey are creating something interesting here and I’m definitely hooked to see what happens next.
| Published by Image

Retcon #1 is...something, I’m not really sure what. Interesting, though, certainly, and something I’ll continue to read for a bit. Ostensibly this is about a team of supernatural beings working for the government, but the interview in the back and the title suggest something else. If anything, the artwork from Toby Cypress is worth the price of admission alone. Still not sure what to think of the story.
| Published by Image

Sacred Creatures #3 again challenges me to decide whether or not I like Pablo Raimondi’s mix of traditional comics art with photography. I’m leaning towards yes.
| Published by Image

Secret Warriors #6 kicks off a two-part arc with the members of the Warriors back on their own. The bulk of the issue is devoted to Daisy tracking down who murdered Coulson and it leads to some humorous exchanges. Who would have known that life model decoys are anatomically correct?
| Published by Marvel

Spy Seal #2 feels even more like a European funny animal book than the first issue. To me it feels like Rich Tommaso is doing a take on something like Tin Tin, but with an anthropomorphic seal, and it’s just wonderful.
| Published by Image

Transformers: Lost Light #9 gives a kind of closure, or at least a transition, to the Natuica/Velocity/Skids character and story arcs. It’s kind of bittersweet when you consider the implications and I expect that James Roberts will undoubtedly revisit this somewhere in the future. Also, the reveal of who the “Grand Architect” is at the end of this issue is pretty epic.
| Published by IDW

Uncanny Avengers #27 is a pretty straight-forward conclusion to the team’s confrontation with Graviton. It’s mostly action, but there are some character moments cementing that this team can still work together fairly effectively. The artwork from Sean Izaakse again is very nice.
| Published by Marvel

Rites of Passage
The Final 4 had the option to journey into the forest of Tashirojima and reflect upon the torches of the fallen players. Here is what they had to say...
.
THOMAS
Jay: I dont really remember you at all I'm sorry :(
Kevin: TOM!!! I wanted to work with you so bad I tried to get you online when your name started circling but you just weren’t around and there wasn’t much I could’ve done at all, let alone by myself, but I was really looking forward to working with you and it sucks that got cut short!
Madeleine: To my Dear Thomas, Even though we only talked twice I had a feeling you would be a good person to play with. You were really nice, -Maddie
Ricky: We literalt didn’t speak but i hope ur little engine could.
.
JULIA
Jay: JULIA! I wish you were active in this game bc we could have RAN IT ahhh I missed you while I wasn't playing ORGS, I'm glad to see you're still around
Kevin: Almost the exact same as Tom, I wanted you to stay for my own personal game but you just weren’t active so I had to ride the waves and they unfortunately took you under, I hope we can again together sometime tho!
Madeleine: Julia, My Montenegro Sister,I feel bad for voting you out so soon, and right after we talked about taking each other to the end. I was torn when voting you out because I wanted to take you far. I wish I could have played with you more, I know you would have been a riot to play with. With Love, Maddie
Ricky: QUEEN IM SO SORRY YOU LEFT SO EARLY I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.
.
KENNY
Jay: I don't remember you either sorry :(
Kevin: I don’t believe we ever spoke which was unfortunate but you seemed active in the tribe chat and you were definitely active in challenges, I don’t really know what happened with your vote it just kinda came up like the last 2.
Madeleine: Hello dearest Kenny. We only had 1 conversation so I’m having trouble writing this, but I remember you being real cool bro. Signed Maddie.
Ricky: You were really cool from when we talked but then I went dead sorry boo.
.
JG
Jay: We didn't talk tooooo much but I hope whatever happened that made you leave the game is ok now
Kevin: I hope everything is ok with you :) not much of an in-game relationship but I did learn a bit about you so that was cool!
Madeleine: JG my dear,I hope everything is okay. I had a lot of fun playing with you. I wished I talked to you more. Good luck at your new job! I’m proud of you for getting it! -Maddie
Ricky: I’m so sorry you had to go the way you did that was a trauma and i hope you’re okay.
.
DYLAN
Jay: OMG Dylan! We had just started really talking, and then your name was thrown out for the vote :( I really did enjoy our like, one conversation about Taco Bell, but I just wasn't very connected to you :c
Kevin: We got on to a late start but I think you’re absolutely hilarious and you should start a youtube channel please, your intro video is still hilarious to this day. I do wish we got to talking more but I appreciated the few times we spoke they were great!
Madeleine: Dear Dylan,You’re an amazing player, I am happy I got to play with again. I hate to see you go as soon as you did. Even though this was my third time playing with you I can confidently say that you always brought something new and exciting every time I have played with you. You are an exciting player and it was a shame that you had to go so soon. With love, Maddie
Ricky: ROBBED ROBBED ROBBED ROBBED. I will never get over how dirty they did you i cry for you every night.
.
BRIEN
Jay: Omg you had a few lives in this game that's for sure. Although it didn't seem like you really talked to many people, you were someone that had to go to take some control away from other players
Kevin: Ah man, you were so active in the first like round and then you seemed to have stopped trying or maybe caring moreso for other games, which I get, but we had a good thing going and it just kinda fizzled out which sucks but I think you’re really cool from what I got to know about you!
Madeleine: Greetings Brien, Hello, my sweets. I know when you left the game we were not on the best of terms (trying to vote each other out an all) but I did have a good time playing with you. From Maddie
Ricky: Pennington.
.
TIMMY
Jay: Heyyyy, I feel like it's a running thing that we just don't communicate in these games at ALL. I know on my side that at this point it was kinda too awkward to say anything, I hope that can be changed in the future
Kevin: We didn’t get to talk a whole lot but you also worked at target so that was really cool, I think our allegiances lined up for a little bit and then they didn’t, so our communication lacked because of it, but I do wish we could’ve connected a little more!
Madeleine: To the lovely Timmy,I loved playing with you again, Kalokairi Krew for life. You were a blast to play with and I hope to play again with you someday soon. We never talked much, but I knew I could count on you. -Maddie
Ricky: The beginning of the ginger genocide.
.
PAT
Jay: Pat omg we definitely have a bit of a history, don't we? It's a shame that your vote came down to you or one of my other closest allies, I would have LOVED to continue playing with you if that wasn't the case. You're a power player every time I get the chance to play with you and I hope we can continue to be friends after this game is done.
Kevin: Ugh Pat, I reallyyy liked talking to you, you were very chill, you could keep a conversation and I just like what we talked about, things got rocky between us with how the game’s dynamic was around the time you left, which I understand but on a personal level I enjoyed you so much and hopefully we can talk after this game is all said and done!
Madeleine: Patrick dearest, We never talked much. I can’t wait for the day I see your name on the TV and I start hitting my partners (or whoever I’m watching with) arm and freaking out because I know you and watch you win survivor. I believe in you bb. With love, Maddie
Ricky: Sorry you were part of the ginger genocide.
.
Vi
Jay: VI! There's not enough good things I can say about you. You're amazingly fun to talk to, I felt like we got along real well and that our personalities just fit together. You always made me laugh and I wish we could've played more strategically together. Voting you out is really one of my biggest regrets in this game
Kevin: Oh wow, you are so interesting, all your animals and your passion for them and plants is awesome, also the stories you’d told me were kinda crazy but really interesting (sorry to use the same word again) but I guess at some point our one on ones ceased to occur, which sucks cause I would’ve loved to know more about you, but maybe we can pick ‘em back up after this :D
Madeleine: Hello, my dearest Vi,At the beginning, we talked a lot and shared stories, but then I made the stupid mistake of not reaching out anymore, I wish I talked with more, we could have done great things in this game. You are amazing and never stop being yourself, my dear! Signed Maddie
Ricky: I hope your isopods are doing well <3
.
ANDREW
Jay: Seeing you here was like a total blast from the past! I'm really happy we got to play this game together, on the same side and everything. I'm just happy that I feel like I recemented my friendship with you. I really you could still be in the game right now.
Kevin: ANDREW. Andrew I freaking adore you, I think you’re hilarious, and our sense of humor is pretty similar which makes things 10x funnier, you’re also the youngest and we not only clicked on a personal level but a game level too so it was like a match made in heaven, obviously things went sideways but that’s not indicative of how I feel about you cause I think you’re awesome.
Madeleine: Dearest Andrew, I wish I hadn’t voted you out, final 4 would have been really fun with you! Even though we didn’t talk much I felt as though we had a good connection and alliance. I am sorry for voting you out. You were an amazing player and I am grateful I had the chance to play with you. I can now say I’ve played with the Iconic AndrewTM . Sincerely, Maddie
Ricky: My partner in crime...you were taken away from me and I’m so sorry for that. you know ain’t no words to describe my love for you.
.
JACOB
Jay: Omg you are HILARIOUS. All of our conversations towards the end of you being in the game were really fun and I wish I made more effort to talk to you during the middle of the game.
Kevin: ugh… jacob… I LOVE YOU and voting you out was shitty but I had to, but you know our minds as crackheady as they are we vibed well, but seriously having you in this game was so nice because you were a fresh of breath air where I could just talk about whatever and say what I felt because I trusted you so much, but yeah through it all I am so sorry but I’m thankful we got to play this game together :)
Madeleine: My dear Jacob,We never talked much. I was delighted to find out you liked New politics as well. I had a blast playing with you! I remember you saying you wish you had a song named after you. Well, it might not be named after you but I found a song called Jacob just for you. Best wishes, Maddie https://open.spotify.com/album/3RGAvvbu5smdrcxZqFIf0U
Ricky: My heart, my baby, my fuckin cinnamon apple. The greatest thing i’m able to take away from this game is talking to you again lol ok bye. 💟
.
STEPHEN
Jay: Oh Stephen, I know we didnt have the best relationship down the stretch, that much is clear. But otherwise I think you were one of the nicest people here, you were always so fun and uplifting in the tribe chat. I hope we can become better friends in the future.
Kevin: Oh Mr. Stephen to say we had a rollercoaster of a relationship would be an UNDERSTATEMENT, you were here to play and I was here to play and that very reason is exactly what pitted us against each other AND brought us together and I’m so glad you were in this game cause the experience wouldn’t have been the same and you added so much to this game for my personally, in-game and out of it just with your presence. I respect you so much and I hope you don’t hate me too much plz
Madeleine: My dearest Stephen,I’m sorry bitch. I genuinely enjoyed playing with you, our 3-hour tribe call that consisted of the 2 of us spilling alliance tea, and making a connecting is one of my favorite parts of this game. It resides as one of my favourite memories. You were one of my closest allies in this game. I regret voting you out and turning on our alliance. I could write a paper about our relationship in this game, but I’m sure at the end of the year for you you already have enough of those to read from your students, so I shall say this; Your are an amazing friend and were an amazing ally, I am sorry for turning on you. (also you were one of maybe 4 people who talked to me and I love you for that) Best of wishes, Maddie
Ricky: I’m sorry we didn’t get to talk more about australia and i hope you can educate me about the floods and fires more.
.
JOANNA
Jay: I don't really know what to say other than I'm extremely extremely sorry about how things ended up for you. I should have made more of an effort to work with you I just didn't know what to say after I explicitly betrayed you over and over. I just felt so guilty over it that I just, ignored you instead of facing it head on. And I'm so sorry I did that. I hope we're still friends.
Kevin: Joanna, I voted you for like the person I’d most like to hang out with in real life cause you are just very cool and very nice and overall a really kind person from what I’ve learned about you, you were honest with me early on in this game about my name going around and I attribute me waking up to play this game with that moment, so I am grateful for you on a personal and game level, I REALLY wish things could’ve played out differently I really do, but the cards fell how they did :(
Madeleine: Hello Joanna,I was so excited when I was in the alliance with you, but of course, I mucked it up by flipping. I wish I could have played with you more, and tried to talk to you more, your an amazing girl. Keep playing girl. Best of wishes, Maddie
Ricky: idkkk for some reason i really love you like i’ll never forget saying hello back and forth for 2 weeks straight, thank you for that.
.
MADISON
Jay: We almost pulled something off at the last minute, huh? That would've been real fun after you shaded me in the tribal calls while I wasn't there ;) But I ain't mad, I think that's hilarious. I think out of everyone in this game I was the closest with you before it began. Some of my fondest tumblr ORG memories are on calls with you, playing with you, hosting you, hosting WITH you. You've always been one of the real ones, ever since we played HoS all those years ago. Talk to you soon :)
Kevin: oh MADISON, girl we BARELY talked, I don’t know why we didn’t but that’s just how our relationship was but you were also there to add a bit of comedy to tribals or the tribe chat and just all around lifted the mood a lot and were a really nice reminder that this was a game and it was all for fun, which I needed a lot, cause I can take these things a bit seriously but you didn’t seem to (which is a good thing) and I admire that a lot about you. :)
Madeleine: Madison, I should have talked to you more. I wanted to work with you but I never reached out, and I regret that. You are someone who I wanted to take to the end. I considered a final 3 with you. That would have been great. But hey, final 5 with you was great too! With love, Maddie
Ricky: queen of the cockroaches. one day we’ll be able to be in a game together where we speak to each other for more than 3 days.
.
.
.
As the final 4 leave the forest, they go back to camp to plan final tribal council. Please consult the jury chat / tribe chat to help plan!
