Nyon Nervous Character Sheet

Being the unfortunate neighbor to one (1) Alexander Goth means to be involved in shenanigans, that Nyon had no interest in. Their dynamic makes me cackle. Initially, I was thinking of making him older, but being a teen fit him more. Lots of identity struggles, aside from the glaring fact the boy ain't fully human. He really puts up a front, so people won't bother him. That said, it doesn't really work on the Hooligang, he now has inadvertently become a part of. Because of that, of course I had to make him a character sheet too to dump all my brainworms about him.

Some of you know that I had a big work deadline this past Friday! Well, I kind of found out it has extended to next week so hopefully I can get more done??

Russ' Route

The first route I am making assets for and implementing into the game is indeed Russ' route!

I love his route a lot and I am happy to say that asset creation is about 70% done! Which of course, backgrounds, character sprites, etc will be used in other routes. That means everyone's routes get a little bit of progress with each art asset made.

I have yet to begin doing CGs, which unfortunately will be very time consuming. Russ' route has 3 planned CGs, one of them being complex (I cannot go into why~ But every character has a least 1-2 of these "complex" CGs)

Eli Vermeer was eight years old when he told his parents he wanted to be a boy. He didn’t like the dresses they bought him or the pigtails they tied his hair into for school pictures. He liked playing soccer with the boys from his class in the empty lot off Main Street and cutting his curls short so they didn’t get in his way. ‘Tomboy’ was the word he got used to hearing, and he didn’t mind it. It had boy in it, after all…

But when he was 18 and his parents still insisted it was just a phase, he knew he couldn’t stay. He took the little money he had saved and boarded a bus west to Evergreen Harbor. He had nothing but a small duffel bag with a few changes of clothes and a toothbrush, and a dream. Hormone replacement therapy. Top surgery. A life where no one looked at him and wondered what he was.

Rags to riching was far from glamorous. Eli became better acquainted with dumpsters than he ever anticipated, and the allure of a fresh cooked meal had never been so enticing. He was tired, stinky, and completely alone.

Luckily, solitude didn’t last forever. Port Promise was full of interesting sims, and soon Eli was making tentative friendships.

Archer even enticed Eli to get out of Evergreen Harbor for an evening. They attended a festival in the city, and as fireworks burst overhead, Eli, for the first time in weeks, started to feel like he was doing it. He was living his own life. Not his parents, not his sister’s. His.

Slowly pieces came together. Eli had a bed. A shower. A pot that was close enough to a toilet. He had soy plants he hated tending, but at least that meant food. A few rocks and some scavenged wood made a firepit to keep him warm as fall crept in, and when he was lucky enough to catch a fish it meant a nice, cooked meal. And the dumpsters he resented so much yielded treasures. Before too long he walked into a clinic, a few-hundred simoleons in hand, and paid out of pocket to start hormone replacement therapy. The changes were slow, just like every other process in Eli’s life, but it was easier knowing he was becoming the man he was meant to be.

Today was Robbie's job interview for a big pharmaceutical company. He was anxious and was practicing to get him in the right mindset when someone called his name. Jayleen. "W-What do you want? You're wasting my time," he sighed, voice shaking slightly from the nerves. "I'm here to wish you-" Jayleen replied when he cut her off.

"I can't talk. I'm gonna be late," Robbie said and walked off. Not even a hello or a see you later. She thought they grew closer over uni and came to cheer him on his job interview.
