“Barty, Evan, Dorcas, Pandora, some random seventh year at a party, Remus–” Regulus listed, looking completely unabashed as eyes grew wider and wider. 

But it was Sirius who interrupted him, looking like he wanted to gag. “Wait. Remus?” he demanded, turning around quickly to narrow his eyes at his nervous-looking boyfriend.

“On a dare, Sirius,” Regulus reminded him, rolling his eyes. “You were there. It was barely a peck.”

“Fine,” Sirius grumbled, pouting and crossing his arms. “But I hope it was horrible.”

“Sufficiently awful,” Regulus replied, rolling his eyes and Remus shouted ‘oi!’ “Can I go on now?”

“Fine.”

“Alright, where was I? Oh, yes. Pettigrew–”

“Peter, too?” Sirius yelped again, throwing his hands in the air as Peter blushed.

“Another dare,” the younger boy growled. 

“Next you’ll say you’ve kissed James, too!” Sirius whined, wincing.

Regulus and James exchanged anxious glances, but the Slytherin shrugged. “We have.”

Sirius blinked. “But as a dare, right?”

Nobody answered. James, who was slowly turning the color of his Gryffindor jumper, picked at a piece of something stuck in the rug.

Sirius’s voice grew louder, more desperate. “It was a dare. Right?”

Silence.

“Love, why don’t we go for a walk?” Remus asked, grabbing Sirius’s hand and pulling the nearly-tearful boy to his feet. 

“But I need to know–”

“I think you already do, baby.”

one time sirius and walburga were arguing and he pointed out that she doesn’t even take care of regulus who’s her “good” son and she got so offended. later that day regulus fell down the stairs and yk walburga was now trying to prove she’s an amazing mother so she rushes to help him but regulus instinctively reaches past her towards sirius.

Regulus grabs James’ shirt when he falls asleep, James finds it extremely endearing; one day he asks about it and Regulus tells him it’s a habit he developed since he was a kid because he’d fall asleep with Sirius and he’d wake up alone and scared at the house, so by doing that, he wouldn’t leave.

James, from that day on, never leaves his side when they sleep and waits until Regulus wakes up to kiss him and get up, and eventually, after years together, one day Reg stops doing it, and James cries in silence because his boyfriend finally believes and knows that he won’t wake up alone anymore.

It's so funny to me how conan gray looks like sirius black but has the personality of Regulus and Sombr looks like Regulus black but has the personality of sirius.

At age two, Regulus sneezed and Walburga wiped his face until it was red and he was crying, furious that he had "embarrassed her".

At age nine, Regulus fell over at a function and Sirius pulled him up, hissing to hurry before their parents saw.

At age seventeen, Regulus had a cold and James stayed with him all day, giving him medicine and cuddling with him to keep him warm.

James ignored the whispering at first. He was rather wrapped up in the Quidditch magazine he was reading, truth be honest, and he’d learned a long time ago that it was best to let Regulus and Sirius deal with their own shit and not get involved unless asked. But as soon as he heard a dangerously sing-song, honey-filled call of “Jamie” and looked up to see two pairs of deviously ice-gray eyes on him, his stomach sank.

Fuck. This wasn’t good.

“Yes, love?” he answered Regulus, who was gazing at him with a smirk akin to a cat staring at a trapped mouse. 

“Would you still think I was pretty if I had no skin?” the shorter man asked innocently, fluttering long eyelashes and making James’s brain short-circuit for half a second before he processed the question.

“Er…”

The truth was, the idea sounded utterly disgusting, but he knew that that was the wrong answer. Helplessly, he turned to Sirius, who crossed his arms. “Simple question, Prongs. Would you find him pretty?” He repeated, grinning and raising his eyebrows.

James groaned, knowing there was no way out of this. “I think I liked it better when you two hated each other and we were a secret,” he mumbled, lowering his face to his hands in defeat.

“What?”

He looked up quickly. “I said I’d find you gorgeous,” he corrected himself, sending Regulus a dazzling smile.

The younger man frowned. “Ew.” He turned to Sirius. “Why’re you friends with him?”

James just rolled his eyes and smiled fondly.

Sirius: Once!?
