all i did today was intend to get into sleep paralysis and shift, and i did.
i heard my dr (cicadas, morning birds), i felt my bedsheets and i was there. actually what’s funny is i first heard crickets but i went nah i prefer to wake up in the morning rather than at night, then it switched to cicadas.
i woke up here bc i was thinking about how i should check if i can hear any cicadas in my cr, and if i really am there.
well there are no cicadas where i live whatsoever, so yes i was in my dr. and i wear earplugs so pretty much anything i hear, is bound to be from another reality.
so i proved my theory right that the less you do, the more you achieve. i was able to get into sleep paralysis easily at the start bc i only intended, but then i started trying too hard.
tomorrow i will only intend, then try to smell my dr, as that’s a sense you don’t really get in dreams so i feel it’ll ground me.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE VOID STATE AND THE VOID:
tag: @aestheticlizalis
As always, I will love to hear your thoughts! and if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them! If you liked it, leave a comment or reblog (that is always appreciated!). if you are intrested in more method check the masterlist!
Tumblr media
Every time I end up talking about the void state, there is a part of me that tends to raise awareness about the void itself. It is a thing the void does not help you manifest, like the void state. In this post, I will try my best to explain how much these two things are truly different.
WARNING: COGNITO HAZARD (For those who do not know, a cognito hazard is a term used to describe an image, pattern, sound, or any other kind of sensory signal that directly causes harmful or undesired physiological or physical effects to one who senses or perceives it. (It is specifically used as a warning when talking about "forced awakening" things like the void.)
You are free to believe or not believe every word I will say in this post, and you are free to not believe every word I say. If, while reading this, you start to feel a negative emotion or a sensation as if you are lost or bodily or emotionally sick, DO NOT CONTINUE READING.
Tumblr media
let's get deeper in this rabbit hole shall we?
i will talk breefly about the void state and then i will get in a more detailed way into what the void is, just because i aready explained the void state many times.
the void state:
is a state of deep meditation where you feel like floating and feel nothingness embodies you, making you feel one with the universe helping you to manifest. (Click the name if you actually want to know more.)
the void:
The void is nothing and everything at the same time. Let me explain better: the void is a place where everything is possible and exists, but at the same time is impossible and does not exist.  The thing is, the void in itself is a pass to every other dimension because every dimension resides in the void, even the cursed ones or the ones that never will be or never were timelines.  As a person with a lot of experience in the void itself, I will tell you that it is not a nice place.  Every kind of entity can catch you, good or evil, whatever they might be. As mere humans in the void, we are exposed to a lot of deep-rooted energy that corrupts our bodies in the long run.
As humans, in the void, we can only "survive" in the backrooms.
what is a backroom?
One thing that is definitely more popular than the void itself are the backrooms that reside in the void. The backrooms became popular around 2012 as a SCP thing as images of liminal spaces. But I assure you, they are pretty much real, and they have many levels, not in a specific order. On every level, we can find different things and different entities, as mentioned before. We can find the good ones that will try to keep you safe and the bad ones that will literally try to kill you.
I will also add that the backroom exists because we are the front room, so for every timeline in existence, there is a backroom, and much like the universe, the void is pretty much endless, so there are infinite possibilities for the frontroom and the backroom.
Tumblr media
why im i telling you this?
because I talk from experience, and let me tell you some of them were not fun. Still to this day, when I go to sleep, I find myself in the void. Bruh, I don't know how it simply happens. And that's been my life since I was 14 years old. I had my time to understand and learn a few rules to exit the backrooms fast enough or not to be killed.
I will put them at the end, but first, a little check on the main differences that we found out about the void state and the void itself:
The void state is a meditation; the void is an "endless place.".
The void can be a dangerous place, but the void state is harmless.
The void state helps us connect with the universe; the void is not used to manifest.
The void is a constant state of rooted energy, which means, in more basic words, that the energy in the void is dirty, and on the long run, a normal human will not "survaive.". In the void state, it is your energy.
In the void state, we find only ourselves; in the void, we can find an endless amount of dimensions, timelines, frontrooms and backrooms, entities, and liminal spaces. Some are all put together.
If you decide to go into the void state, it is a conscious decision. You can mistakenly enter the void by just falling asleep.
Those are the main differences, just because I can't say much more about the void itself because, as said before, it is a forced awakening, and I don't want people to feel sick with too much information.
Tumblr media
if by mystake you enter the backrooms here some rules that will help you get out faster:
Don't scream; you will give off your location to any type of entity. In whatever level you enter, you will find the exit in the same level.
Not every level is scary. Some have flowers and are pretty; others are simple rooms. Those levels are safe as long as you don't hurt yourself. Be careful.
Don't take stairs, and don't jump in holes or on poles. Again, you will find the exit on the same level as you entered.
If you see fluffy entities, look at their eyes first. If the eyes are blue, they are friendly; any other color is to be avoided.
There is only one entity that is 100% friendly and will help you. It looks like a shadow with no features; it does not talk, but you will understand her.
If you hear a sound, go in the opposite direction; if you feel like a sound surrounds you, hide and stay still no matter what; some entities don't have eyes.
If you can't find the exit, pray to whatever god you believe in, and good entities will find you and help you.
On rare occasions, you might find other humans; don't trust them; they are no longer humans.
and I think that I said everything that has to be said. If you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them, and I hope you did not feel sick or do any negative things from this post.

can u talk about sleep paralysis to manifest/ enter the void state please!?
Tumblr media
Hi! I've already talked about the Void State twice on my account, feel free to check those out, especially because what I said about shifting also applies to manifestation.
Now, I haven’t talked much about sleep paralysis as an entry point, sleep paralysis and the void state are two different altered states, but I truly believe that entering the void from sleep paralysis is one of the easiest ways, at least for me.
I've personally shifted multiple times from sleep paralysis, and I find it’s one of the most favorable states because:
-Your body is completely asleep,
-Your consciousness is still present,
You’re already in a deeply altered state, and just one mental “push” away from the void or your DR.
(I'm not saying it's the best state for everyone, but it's one of my favorites.)
🛑 The most important thing is: Do not panic. Hallucinations can happen (visuals, sounds, pressure), but I personally find them easy to ignore or push away if I stay calm. They’re just noise,i personally take deep breath and focus on something that bring me peace.
Tips to Enter Sleep Paralysis on Purpose (for beginners and void seekers):
1. Use the WBTB method (Wake Back To Bed):
Sleep 4–6 hours → wake up for 10–30 mins (calm activity) → go back to bed with your intention.
This increases the chance of staying conscious while your body falls asleep.
2. Lay completely still (starfish or soldier position)(yeah bringing back good memory haha).
Avoid moving or scratching, no matter what.
Your brain will send “tests” like itches or twitches to check if you're awake. Ignore them
3. Focus on your breath or a mantra
Ex: “I’m shifting now” or just count “1… 2… 3…”
What i personally like to do is box breathing (inhale for 4, then hold for 4 and exhale for 4).
Don’t overthink it. Let your body relax and detach.
4. When paralysis kicks in (heaviness, buzzing, can't move):
Stay emotionally neutral. Don’t force anything. Observe.
Feel like you're sinking or floating, then push into the void or DR with intention or visualization.
5. If you see/hear things (hallucinations):
Don’t resist or fear them. They can’t hurt you.
Smile internally and remind yourself: “I’m safe. I’m in control.”
Most of the time i just affirm that i'm shifting, but you can adapt based on what you wanna do.
Trust your calm. Let go. Let it pull you in. You’ve got this.

There comes a point you just get too frickin’ fed up to wrestle with your demons, stare them dead in the eye and say “go on then. Do it.” Because frankly whatever you’re scared of is less misery inducing than the anticipation of it

So as I have stated before, I was depressed for quite a while. After quitting my addictions to Mary Jane & Alcohol cold turkey my mental health has gotten immensely better. In correlation to this blog, I was thinking I could enter a lucid dream with the intention of speaking to my subconscious. By doing this hopefully, I will gain information about myself. I have prepared some questions I'm going to ask them and I wanted to share them here with you guys.
1. What is an emotion you try to avold feeling? Why are you afraid to feel it? What triggers this emotion?
2. What do you not love about yourself and why? When did this dislike hatred begin? Why did it begin at all?
3. What triggers you? Why does it bother you so quickly and so much?
4. What is the worst trait about yourself? why is it so bad?
5. What events in my life have hurt me the most? What reminds me of these painful times? What parts of me remain there? Am I still living in the past?
6. Do you hold yourself accountable for the pain and hurt you've endured in your life? Why or why not
7. What is the biggest regret you have to this day? Why do you regret it? Do you think you could ever forgive yourself?
Most of the questions are used for Shadow work and I thought asking my subconscious about them would be a great way to find insight about myself. Let me know if you think I should add anything to the list.
Also! Tell me what the most meaningful question you’ve asked in a lucid dream and what the response was ✨🧞‍♂️💤

Sleep paralysis may last for several minutes, and is sometimes accompanied by vivid dreamlike hallucinations that give rise to stories about visitations from gods, spirits, and extraterrestrial creatures.
We know from early work of the Canadian neurophysiologist Wilder Penfield that electrical stimulation of certain regions of the brain elicits full-blown hallucinations. People with temporal lobe epilepsy - involving a cascade of naturally generated electrical impulses in the part of the brain beneath the forehead - experience a range of hallucinations almost indistinguishable from reality: including the presence of one or more strange beings, anxiety, floating through the air, sexual experiences, and a sense of missing time. There is also what feels like profound insight into the deepest questions and a need to spread the word. A continuum of spontaneous temporal lobe stimulation seems to stretch from people with serious epilepsy to the most average among us. In at least one case reported by another Canadian neuroscientist, Michael Persinger, administration of the antiepileptic drug, carbamazepine, eliminated a woman's recurring sense of experiencing the standard alien abduction scenario. So such hallucinations, generated spontaneously, or with chemical or experiential assists, may play a role, perhaps a central role, in the UFO accounts.

Yes, this is a new account, I just made this. I don't care if people question the authenticity of my post, my experience as a shifter, or whatever I'm about to say.
I don't know how to use Tumblr, nor do I know how to make my post reach people who need it, nor would I be a narcissist and say "you're lucky if you found my post!" I don't mind if this reaches an audience or not, I'm glad to get everything off my chest.
Yes. I've shifted.
I have shifted realities, more times than I can count on my fingers, and that is for a very specific reason, which I'll explain later.
I'm writing this because I'm about to permashift, and no, I won't hear out any antishifters or people who don't like permashifting in general, I don't care about your opinion so don't waste my time.
Before I start, I'd like to say one thing:
I was irrational minded, I lacked belief in myself and shifting. Shifting often times felt like a chore more than a fun activity, and i have to admit, it became an unhealthy habit.
So? Why did I mention this?
Because I had been lurking around shifting communities and I realised everyone feels like this, a very (mentally) painful feeling where the lack of shifts starts acting as your biggest enemy, and the phrase:
"Shifting needs practice!"
Sounds like poison when it comes from an experienced shifter.
Though, is the phrase actually true?
No, not at all.
Shifting does not need practice!!
Here's why:
(BTW, I will explain my "method", no matter if I have time or not. Also, I don't call this reality "Current Reality", instead I call it Void reality, so don't get confused.)
The "practice" you're doing is only affecting your void reality (taking time out of your day, making you constantly think you're in your learning phase, so it doesn't exactly lead to your desired reality, does it?)
Of course, if you view it as a skill, it will in some way act like that, it'll become a skill for you, and you can never succeed on your first, second, third, hundredth try, because in your brain you have registered the fact that shifting is this grand, universal task, and that it is very difficult (because its common sense that you practice difficult things to get good at them)
Practice is a very humane and earthly act, if people have succeeded doing just practice, then good for then, they're right in their own way, but it didn't work for me, and in my opinion it's the worst way to view shifting, and often times it is demotivating, and you'll mess up you're entire journey.
Shifting is not a skill, shifting is a universal law.
I'll become more clear as I explain my journey:
My journey:
I found shifting from a random YouTube video 3 years ago. I might have only said cool and moved along.
A year later something traumatic happened in my life, which shook me so badly I needed an escape.
First of all, I chose astral projecting, but I realised I was too much of a coward to do so.
Then I came towards shifting, first DR was very typical, it was Hogwarts.
Having no knowledge whatsoever in the topics of spirituality, meditation, I went straight to methods, because they were like guides for me, I was very inexperienced, of course, and looked at other people and what they were doing for guidance.
Alice in wonderland method didn't do much, raven method was too uncomfortable (side note, all this raven method does is make you too focused on your void reality, cmon, in your DR are you laying down like a starfish?) And I was having terrible trouble with my intrusive thoughts (which made the floor disappear from under my feet, made the stairs for the stairs method too short to climb or straight up made them dissappear as well)
I didn't have any luck that year, no mini shifts, no lucid dreams, or sleep paralysis. And my DRs never remained constant. They always changed on a daily basis.
I was big on methods, I couldn't realize they never worked for me.
Although, this year of failure led me to finally figure out where I belonged.
A DR made out of scratch, which I spend much effort in putting the pieces of it together.
The DR, which was called "Home reality" really made me feel settled in my journey.
LOA, and the consciousness theory were the leading factors which made me shift.
And don't worry, it isn't what you're tired of being told, I didn't just apply any orthodox definition of LOA and succeeded.
Background to my first shift:
It was a particularly stressful day, I really missed my home.
I was studying at my college (I still am, but...) and I was dreading giving a chemistry test, I did not prepare. In my mind, one thing was constantly looping in my head.
The scenario of the chemistry teacher coming in, and taking the test, and the next day I get it handed back with a big fat zero.
But then I stopped and wondered, having already known about the consciousness theory, so according to it:
"I am constantly letting this thought run in my mind, and constantly letting this reality dictate what happens next."
Basically, I realized what was about to happen next was indirectly in my control, but with my line of thinking, I was letting this reality control it directly.
I stopped, like actually stopped thinking.
And with a blank mind I thought.
"I won't have to take any test today."
And went around telling my classmates this with a confident tone.
The teacher came in, said we'll instead do some practicals in lab.
So the test got cancelled.
Going home, I got excited, i felt powerful.
I decided to apply this to shifting.
Before shifting, I took a nap during the day, (if you're tired your body insists on sleeping, so your mind will get hazy and you will start acting lazy towards your goal)
And after living how I normally would, before bedtime, I listened to some songs, and look at a Pinterest board which reminded me of my home reality.
My method and what happened next:
First phase of shifting:
When I laid down on the bed to start shifting, I first got comfy (for me, if I feel sleepy for some reason, I laid on my back, I can't fall asleep in that position, but if I think ill stay awake until I reach a "detached state" then I sleep on my side, it's comfortable)
I obviously wasn't checking the time, but I spent about 10 minutes getting relaxed, all I do to relax is:
a) look at the blackness (closed eyes, looks like starry skies) and try to believe I'm looking at the milky way.
b) think about my home reality, just faces of my loved ones, and nostalgia inducing images.
c) Affirm, but don't focus entirely on affirming, usually in the back of my mind I'm repeating "I have shifted to my home reality" "I have shifted my senses to my home reality" "I have stopped sensing the void reality" "I am smelling, tasting, feeling, hearing and seeing my home reality" no other fancy affirmations required. (Now that I think about it, you need to affirm NOW because this method has two phases, one where you are shifting, and one where you have shifted, and you are in the 3D, where you are occupying your DR self, their thoughts, and memories, and popular method usually only have one phase, either you are shifting, or have shifted. So my point is if you affirm later and you'll be affirming when you're supposed to be in your DR, and obviously, your DR self won't be spouting out affirmations about shifting to a random reality for no reason.)
During this time, you'll feel tingly all over. It's a good sign.
And you'll feel a certain detachment, like you aren't exactly here, you have no idea what position you're lying in, and where your feet are. (Please, for the love of God do not start counting your feet or get freaked out that you can't feel your leg, you'll come back to the void reality.)
So you can start the next phase.
Middle phase (optional):
To prepare for the next and last phase, you can do this to get ready, or don't (First read the third phase)
This is all about connection to your DR.
Think about memories from your DR, focus on the faces of your loved ones, the way you act, talk, your mannerisms in your DR, or you can simply say affirmations like these one:
My name is ___.
I work as a ___.
My age is ___.
Don't try to imagine vividly or anything, lightly touch upon the basic details of your DR, the construction and foundation of any reality and the person, who has existed there for their entire life.
(That's you!)
Phase three:
Take a sudden, abrupt stop from your stream of thoughts. (Yes intrusive thoughts will still pop up but don't give any importance to them) when you're in a blank state of mind, not longer than 30 seconds, you need to build up to the last step of your shifting method, and journey.
a) start imagining hearing the voices of your loved ones or just any voice, calling your DR name, your nicknames, with different tones. (For example, i heard my name in an angry tone from my father when he was scolding me, I heard my name followed by a laughter when my S/O teased me.)
OK, for me, I started feeling intense, groundshaking symptoms at this moment. Sudden flashing of lights, extreme feeling of floating, and ofcourse, feeling tingliness so much that it felt like pins and needle on my entire body. (I did ignore the symptoms)
b) plan the rest of your day in your DR, which you will be spending.
AGAIN, PLEASE DON'T SAY IT LIKE THIS.
❌️When I reach my DR ❌️ I will have to go to that eye specialist for that appointment.
Instead: (and the more you personalize it, the better)
Ughhh, I have to go to that appointment- this day will suck.
(Don't mind my example, that was the only thing I could think of at the moment)
c) in this reality, you are constantly thinking of something, your thoughts are definitely what constructs this reality, and your current thoughts are affecting your subconscious. (By this point, your subconscious is grounded in your DR, so don't worry about that bastard.)
Now, you're going to start thinking, thoughts which are going on in your DR self's mind, start with one sentence, with which you'll be able to start consciously thinking like your DR self.
And think in the style, tone, and mood of your DR self, and keep the thoughts strictly related to your DR.
Thats it, but what happens afterwards? And what happened to me?
So for me, I started feeling weird while I was thinking.
And I remember I thought this:
"Ugh, I don't want eggs for breakfast."
(I'm not saying this is the key to shifting, at this point, I had covered various topics, including, weather, my upcoming work assignment, and praised my S/O for a good 5 minutes.)
And I started panting, like suddenly I was trying to catch my breath, the room felt bright, so I opened my eyes, and well, I was in my home reality :)
I was delirious for a few second, my S/O was looking at me worriedly, but surprisingly, it didn't even take me a minute to adjust, it felt all so natural and I wasn't scared.
I didn't even feel emotional, at all, and didn't hug my S/O with tears in my eyes, I straight up asked to be served breakfast, incase anyone was wondering.
So that's it.
Although i have much to say, I'm tired of writing, but I'm more than willing to answer each and every one of your questions, although I only have 7 hours left till I permashift, I'll remain mostly active till then.
And no, I'm not rereading this to fix my grammar, so just ask if anything confused you.
Ask away.
I'm still not sure if this'll reach anyone or not.

HOLOTROPIC BREATHWORK
"Holotropic Breathwork is a therapeutic breathing technique that uses rapid, controlled breathing and music to create an altered state of consciousness."
The process bypasses your analytical mind and taps into the subconscious, often bringing up suppressed emotions, vivid imagery, or even spiritual insights. It’s often used for self-discovery, emotional healing, and connecting more deeply with your inner self.

Hypnagogia and Hypnopompia are transitional states of consciousness that occur during the process of falling asleep and waking up, respectively.
Hypnagogia is experienced as you are falling asleep. It often happens when you’re extremely tired or sleep-deprived, such as after staying up late or napping during the day. In this state, you may not fully fall asleep but instead enter a semi-conscious phase. During hypnagogia, people can feel as though they’re “dreaming while awake.”
Hypnopompia, on the other hand, happens as you are waking up. You might not fully regain consciousness and instead linger in a dream-like state. In this phase, you may feel as though you are simultaneously awake and dreaming, struggling to differentiate between the two. Similarly, people can feel as though they're "awake while dreaming."
These may involve visual, auditory, or tactile hallucinations, and sometimes even a sensation similar to sleep paralysis. Both phenomena occur because the brain is transitioning between wakefulness and sleep, creating a blend of conscious awareness and dream-like perceptions. While they can feel disorienting, these experiences are a natural part of how our brain processes the sleep cycle.

Routine combining both methods:
Step 1: Get Comfortable
Lie down (preferably) in a quiet, dimly lit space where you won’t be disturbed.
Close your eyes and relax your body.
Step 2: Breathwork to Relax (2-5 minutes)
Breathe in deeply through your nose for 2 seconds.
Exhale out through your mouth with a gentle "ha" sound.
Repeat this rhythm, focusing on how your body feels lighter and more relaxed with each breath.
Step 3: Focus on the Darkness
Let your breathing return to normal.
Shift your attention to the darkness behind your eyelids.
If you see shapes, colors, or feel sensations, let them happen naturally.
Step 4: Affirm and Intend
Silently or softly affirm your intention:
“I am pure consciousness.”
“I am shifting now.”
Stay calm and trust the process as you drift deeper into the void or shifting state.
Step 5: Let Go
Allow yourself to fully relax, knowing that you’re transitioning.
If you feel close to the void or shifting, focus on staying calm and open.

THE “BLOODSTORM B*TCH METHOD” A HACK TO ENTER SLEEP PARALYSIS.
you wanna get into sleep paralysis, huh? you’re sick and twisted, and i’m LIVING for it. well, buckle up, because i’m about to give you the nastiest hack that’ll have you stuck in your bed like a hot mess in a haunted house. get ready to get frozen, baby.
1) lie on your back, you lazy bitch. – you wanna play with the big leagues? Well, first, you gotta get in the right position. don’t try to get cute. if you wanna see the dark side, you better go full “corpse mode” and lie flat on your back like a dead fish on a slab.
2) don’t even think about moving. – not even a toe, honey. stop twitching—we’re here to make your body think you’re already dead. it’s called commitment, sweetie. and we don’t half-ass things around here.
3) breathe like you’re on a vacation in bora bora. – slow, deep breaths. Imagine you’re asleep but not really. your body’s gonna think you’re in a coma, while your brain’s wide awake, fully aware, and ready to take over the universe.
4) wait for that tingling sh*t. – the moment you feel like you’re stuck in a damn electrical storm with a side of heavy bricks on your chest, congratulations—you’re entering sleep paralysis. now, hold onto your damn pearls, because this is where the fun starts.
5) STAY THE HELL CALM, BITCH. – when your body’s frozen like a popsicle, you’ll be tempted to panic like a little bitch, but guess what? that’s what the losers do. you just lay there, eyes wide open or closed, and pretend you’re unfazed.
6) now, do whatever the hell you want. - want to dip into the void? affirm, “i’m in the void, motherfucker,” and let yourself fall into pure nothingness. It’s like your own private club and only YOU are invited. want to astral project? Imagine yourself floating up like a heavenly diva and watch your body lay there, pathetic and useless.
