Out of all the inconsistencies in Rings of Power (some of which literally make me cringe but that's not the point) the WORST is when Halbrand sticks out his lil spear thing and trips Adar's horse. Like...that wouldn't work? Have you never ridden a horse, bro? You might be a Maia but you are Not stronger than a. Galloping. Horse. With your arm strength and a stick. The spear should have broken or been ripped out of his hand. It might've smacked the horse's legs but it would never have tripped up the horse so badly that it full out fell onto the ground! Messing up Tolkien lore is one thing, but this is like physics!!! (Or something idk but the horse's speed/force or smthn is greater than Halbrand's arm strength).

Anyways. That's the worst (closely followed by the mithril/silmaril thing (it's just so DUMB)) problem I have with RoP.

How easy it is, to cast blame, to judge, when you can't FEEL the Force in your EVERYTHING. All the time. Every moment of every day. Beautiful but cacophonous, like a symphony of screaming. Like staring at the sun and never going blind. It still hurts. But it's so... so bright. So Beautiful.

But pain only begets more pain. Cruelty, more cruelties still. And only the Sith, believe they can use FORCE, in any sense of the word, to change a persons nature. The Jedi build. Grow. They work together, with those who are willing, towards something better. Defend, those who can not protect themselves.

Balance and growth. Not fire and chains.

And Oc is pretty sure Anikin will agree. No one should ever be in chains. Dead maybe. Or in jail. But never, ever, in chains. (And no one ever said they were pacifists. Just not war mongers. Sometimes the only answer IS to kill your opponent. To respect their choice, but honor your commitments. Protect those you swore to protect.)

Of course... OC? Going through Jedi training. It's Pre-Anikin days. Both she and Obi-Wan are fuckin Smol. She's not even in his Creche clan. Really, all she'd have to do is find them, within herself, right? They're already a part of her! Yet... not. Do they consider themselves a part of her? Or is it symbiosis? His new ref is finally done! This design is less of an exact copy of AV! Puzzles and more of a, "trying to make a copy from memory" vibe.

With that being said, despite the fact people might think that he's just a sweetheart thanks to the recent Valentines event I can confirm he is a total bastard. Valentines day was an acception.

He only likes a small handful of people, everyone else he does not like, or stright up hates. He especially hates Mr. Puzzles and by extension all versions of Mr. Puzzles, Mr. Park and Starz are the only acception to this rule. [I can neither confirm nor deny the flowers he gave to the other au Puzzles contained hidden tracking devices that are to be used to hunt them for sport at a later date.]

Despite his small size, he has one power that makes him low-key, the strongest character in the entire story, and that's the fact that he doesn't follow any form of logic. The smg4 world runs on a form of cartoon logic. The logic Chonkzzles abides by is literally whatever the one he wants. It's not uncommon for him to pull things like pool noodles out from nowhere and start beating people to death with them.

He also doesn't like to be touched, especially by strangers. He only lets a small handful of people pet him, and even fewer are allowed to pick him up. There's only one person who he trusts fully, and that's Sag5, who made him. He acts as their "pet" of sorts, but he's more like a roommate who doesn't pay rent.

He does not speak in words. Rather, he speaks in Smol bean language, which is an actual language in Astro-vision that only three five known people can speak. It can be translated into English. He is capable of speaking English, he just chooses not to, why? I don't even know. However, most people would agree his voice when he speaks English is unsettling since it is far deeper than when he speaks in smol bean.

Unlike the other Puzzles, he can eat with his TV still on. In fact, he can't take his TV off, unlike the others. How does he eat? Bro, I think you can tell if you read this far. i don't even know how this mf operates, and I MADE him. He just... does. He will eat anything but his favorite food is KFC or McDonald's chicken nuggets.

In conclusion? This little fucker is the bane of my existence, he exists out of spite and every second he lives he coNTINUES TO TEST MY PATIENCE, HOW DO YOU OPERATE YOU INSIGNIFICANT-

They surely must go out of Arda (because they don't reincarnate)

Their spirits go to Aulë and work with him

Their spirits go to a separate (from both the Elven Halls of Waiting and Men-transfer-point) place in Mandos and... idk, just wait there.

I hereby claim that option 1 cannot be true, unless they have been very strictly adopted into the race of Men, which... is somewhat possible, but doesn't feel like it's a thing. Why? Going-out-of-Arda is a specifically Mannish thing, along with the out-of-Song-ness. Also, they may have originally been different, but [...the whole semi-demi-canon mess that is Tale of Adanel & co].

2 or 3 may be true, but let's continue the discussion of 1. Why do the Dwarves grow old then? I claim: they do grow old because that's how marred material world works, they do grow old just like grass and deer and snakes. Not like Men. It is not as inherent for them to have an allotted time on Arda. It's just a result of the marring.

They aren't driven towards the Outside, if they feel pulled anywhere as their time passes, it's towards Aulë maybe (assuming 2 not 3, at least).

So. Gimli. Do you see what I'm going at?

He landed up in a place where the marring is... not fully absent, but minimal and controlled. And he can be near Aulë while still alive.

So assuming that this logic above makes sense, the clear result is that Gimli is now immortal.

HTTYD AU idea that I’ll never write because I have too many projects, one a personal rewrite of the HTTYD universe following a potential outcome where the kids all follow Hiccup into exile via dragon back, and speed running the events of RoB, DoB, and RTTE in the span of a few years. ANYWAYS

Snotlout and Hiccup are cousins, but Spitelout, being Spitelout, starts dropping earworms in Snotlout’s ears about how Hiccup will never be Chief, being too small and sickly and un-vikingkly. Only this is when Snotlout and Hiccup are smol, and somewhat close-ish, as little kids tend to be before they get older and start developing an awareness of their surroundings.

Baby Snotlout hears this and comes to the five-year old child logical conclusion that he must protect his smaller cousin from everyone who might hurt him, so he can have the chance to grow up big and strong like everyone else, and be the bestest chief ever!

Snotlout earns a reputation of biting any adult or child who comes within three feet of Hiccup. Not even Stoick is safe from this treatment. Snotlout bit and got into a five-year old child’s equivalent of a fistfight with a sheep that accidentally knocked Hiccup over. No one’s safe. He insists he is protecting the tribes future awesome and amazing chief.

The years pass on. Snotlout is still stubbornly protecting his cousin, but as they get older it’s different. He grows to learn that his cousin is just small, but Snotlout is adamant Hiccup will be a great chief. Because he has a witty tongue that leave adults flabbergasted, and is slippery when the other kids start picking on him, and Hiccup will have Snotlout, who will obviously grow to take his own fathers place as general, and so that means he can just protect Hiccup from all the bigger scary stuff like rival chiefs and dragons so Hiccup can be Chief without worry.

Hiccup does not get relentlessly bullied because his brawny, overprotective cousin throws hands at any slight insult to Hiccup. Hiccup learns how to talk down people from other tribes who aren’t so persuasive much earlier than he does in the show because some boy from another tribe gave him a funny look and his stupidly loyal cousin ran across the room to try and throw him into a table.

When Hiccup thinks he shot down a Night Fury, none of the kids say anything mean spirited about the chaos that followed, because Nsorlout had made a reputation. When they start dragon training, Snotlout and Hiccup get the lowest marks at first because Snotlout heard “Grab a shield” and decided to use himself as a shield for Hiccup, which his cousin does NOT like

It is not Astrid that gets taken out on a flight on the back of a Night Fury, but Snotlout, who wondered where his cousin was spending his free time, because Snotlout at least understands privacy and isn’t hovering over Hiccup 24/7, but also saw how pissed Astrid was at losing and came to find his cousin before she did so she wouldn’t try anything. It is Snotlout, clutching his cousin and screaming as a dragon tries to kill him on his back, because his cousin is his best friend and he has decided he doesn’t want to share. Snotlout is nervous later about the Monstrous Nightmare that his cousin leads to his open hand, but he trusts his cousin, and so touches the dragon.

Snotlout and Toothless do not get along at first, Snotlout protective of his cousin and Toothless protective of his best friend and neither of them wanting to share with the other. Hiccup walks around a corner to see the pair of them going at it with each other, because they couldn’t agree on who was going to follow Hiccup and make sure he was safe. The day Toothless and Snotlout finally start getting along is the day Hocvup realizes he will never know peace again, because there is a Night Fury and his stubborn cousin who’d fistfight Odin if he so much as looked at Hiccup wrong, and of course a Monstrous Nightmare, because Hookfang isn’t going anywhere without Snotlout, so he too is also following Hicvup and making sure he’s safe. Hiccup eventually reminds himself of the alternative and forces himself to live with his two and a half protective, self-appointed bodyguards.

Snotlout is stubborn and loyal and has a very hard time letting Hiccup defend himself in a physical manner at first, but learns to let Hiccup fight his own battles. So long as Snotlout and Hookfang are nearby in case someone fights dirty or cheats or Hiccup has a bad day and decides to let his cousin have at it. He doesn’t once think of trying to become Chief, and Spitelout doesn’t know what to do with a son that refuses to try and take leadership because he’s too darn determined to make sure his scrawny fishbone cousin grows to be Berks Chief. And he can’t complain about it because it’s kinda all his fault anyways.

What do you think Annie's reaction was to Armins voice?

In the time Annie was in the crystal, paralyzed and pretty much stunted in growth, this was a pretty developmental time for most other characters, for Armin specifically, he a little bit grew taller, broader, sharper, got a hair cut, he got handsome(not that he wasn't handsome before). It makes sense for Annie to be a bit surprised by all that's happened in four years, I know I would be. (In my mind I think seeing how much all of her old friends have changed would solidify how long shes been in the crystal for like a 'damn its really been 4 years' moment)

Annie could hear when Armin spoke to her from outside the crystal, I would think she could also hear his voice start to change overtime, get deeper, maybe his voice cracking sometimes. I wonder what her reaction was when she could finally hear him clearly or when she really processes the sound of his voice in her ears.

It's very distinctly Armins voice, after hearing him talk to her for 4 years she can probably recognize Armins voice anywhere.

It just makes me think sometimes, Armins "man voice™️" coupled with his more grown up appearance, do you think an arrow show through her heart. Like whoa hes a man😳😳

I believe that in-show at least, there's no difference in Armin's voice before and after the timeskip BUT logically, it makes sense it would've deepened a bit (it's upto our imagination tho). I often think about this too and I agree! Tho his voice being on the breathier and softer side of male voices in general, I headcanon that this change wouldn't have been *too* noticeable to Annie who was, by all accounts, living a sleepless nightmare inside the crystal. I also wonder if listening from inside the crystal would've caused some distortion?? In that... maybe she could tell this is Hitch and that is Armin, but they sounded kinda warbly and distant?

The point is! That even if Annie had picked up the change in Armin's voice, she couldn't possibly have known of the physical change - her eyes are closed, and she remembers only that smol boy with the bowl cut. Even if Hitch told her about Armin's haircut one day in front of the crystal, it's hard to... really picture something that sounds way too foreign, y'know? I think Annie would've tried and come up with some hideous picture and a mosaic-blurred face in her imagination xD

DESPITE ALL THAT, Annie was thiiiiiiiiiis close to inhaling her pie down her lungs when she saw the... the new guy. He says "Annie?" and she goes all googly eyed.

But he's staring at HER and there's titans stomping around and there's a small wind and his *short* hair ruffles and-

QL Dramas - Currently Watching

Lost in the Woods (Wed, Airing: 4/7)

Okay what the fuck why is this low budget drama so good? I'm really enjoying the push and pull between Fifa and Hem. I really loved 1000 Stars, but one of my criticisms of it was that they treated Tian like he couldn't do anything. Fifa is finding his way and proving himself to the townspeople one step at a time, and I love that.

My Golden Blood AKA Gay Twilight (Wed, Airing: 5/12)

This show is everything I wanted it to be. Vampires? ✅ Weird sniffing kink? ✅ Joss taking his shirt off every 3 seconds? ✅

Top Form (Thurs, Airing: 5/11)

They knew what they were doing when they cast these two. Logically, I know that Boom is the same age as my older sister. However, I still am watching this show and going "he's just a little guy. Just a smol bean. Just a little blushing kitty cat" Also holy fuck their chemistry

Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist (Fri, Airing: 3/12)

This is the silly romcom I need right now. Jay is so silly but so earnest, I love him. Sant is so relatable. Poor? Same. Too busy for love? Same. Work work work? Same.

My cuties are back and they are soft and cute and fluffy and ugh. I can't wait for Domundi's other shows this year. I need Domundi to venture into GL. I wonder what they could do with it.

QL Dramas - Catching Up

Perfect 10 Liners

Ugh. P10L has been my weekly Sunday show for so long!! I can't believe it's over. It wasn't a perfect drama, but it did so many things well. For one: it brought us the lovely couples of PerthSanta and JuniorMark. I ran out of time to write the full review, so check that out tomorrow.

Rebound the Series

While procrastinating my job (whoopsie...) I watched Rebound, and damn I was surprised by how much I liked it! I have now watched every MeenPing show, and every show I am surprised by how much they grow. I really love them. Check out my review tomorrow as well.
