Are Danny Phantom redesigns still cool? Well regardless, here's some edits I made a month or two ago with my own interpretation of some of the characters!

Jazz: What is that?

Danny: A smoothie.

Jazz: Why is it glowing?

Danny: It's fear in liquid form. I'm doing a cleanse, and some of my ghost friends recommended Dr. Crane, from door 2319 in the East Center Realms. It's super healthy and delicious to boat. Check out my test results from my last check-up with FrostBite

Jazz: Wow, this is amazing, Danny. Your health is looking great. Not to mention you're looking good too.

Danny: Thanks! This plus the hitting the gym is doing me wonders. Honestly, my mental health has sky rocketed, not to mention my self-confidence. Get this, Paulina asked me on a date the other day. Apparently, I came back from summer vacation hot.

Jazz: Did you say yes?

Danny: No! It was so much more satisfying to see her look shock that anyone would turn her down. That's the best way to get back at my bullies, make them want me, and then rip out their hearts. Dash cried a little. And it's all thanks to Dr. Crane's healthy smoothies!

Jazz: Do you think he can make me something too? Something safe for human consumption? I want to work on my figure.

Danny: I can ask! He's always happy to see me.

Meanwhile:

Scarecrow: Men prepare our defenses! That theif won't get my intellectual property!

Goon: Whats the boss on about this time?

Goon 2: That glowing boy stole another tank of Fear Toxin. The boss is losing his mind over the fact he can't stop him from making off with it.

Goon: Why does he want it?

Goon 2: I think the kid snorts it

Goon: What!?

Goon 2: Right!? I'm not sure if the kid is human or not, and at this point, I'm too scared to ask. At least he throws money at us when he takes the tank. He's single handly putting my kid through private school.

Goon: He's the reason we got a raise? Glowing kid might be my new hero.

What if Danny photographs weird even in human form, and it outs him to his class. Like, his ghostly traits are more prominent or something. So he just leans into it to get them to keep their mouths shut.

Danny, staring wide-eyed at the class photo being projected on the whiteboard: eh... shit..

Mr. Lancer, looking between the photo and Danny: Who are you?

Danny, glancing at his horrified classmates: Er, still Danny Fenton, unfortunately

Dash: Fenturd is possessed??

Danny: What?? No!

Kwan: Then-?

Danny: Ugh! I died a while ago! It's not my fault you didn't notice!

Mr. Lancer, paling: Great Scotts Fitzgerald! Mr. Fenton, how long?

Danny, awkwardly: So remember how I had an accident my freshman year? Cause yeah, didn't survive that.

Star, gasping: But-but-

Danny, sighing: Look, it's fine. Don't worry about it. Just pretend you don't know. My parents can't know. I'm not willing to see if their parental love will win out over their hatred for ghosts.

Dash: Fuck, I didn't think of that.

Danny, nods: I tried not to change my behavior too much so they won't catch on and ... vivisect? Dissect? Whichever applies in this situation. So they don't experiment on me.

Kwan: If you're dead... where's your body?

Danny: erm... I'm not sure it exists? I'd have to figure out how to turn off my parents' portal without it blowing up to check. I was standing inside it when it turned on. Got to say a hazmat suit does nothing to protect you from being torn apart by a portal to the Infinite Realms. It's an awful way to go.

Star, gasps: Wait! Phantom wears-!

Danny, changes to Phantom for shits and giggles: a hazmat suit? Yeah. I know.

Dash, faintly: I've been bullying my hero...

Mr. Lancer: Oh! That's why you run out of class!

Danny: mhm, I turned on the portal, the ghosts are my responsibility. I don't want anyone getting hurt, so I'll take the brunt of it until I die again.

Mr. Lancer: while that is admirable, Mr. Fenton, you are still a child. You shouldn't be dead or be carrying this burden.

Danny: Yeah, shouldn't, but am and do.

Star: We should make you a grave!

Danny: Huh??

Star: I assume you don't have one?

Danny: Well, no. Only my sister, Sam, and Tucker knew I was dead before this. We don't like to think about it more than we have to, plus there's no body to bury..

Star, turns to the rest of the class: Hear that! We're getting Phantom a gravelot and a headstone!

Paulina: It would be nice to have a spot to drop off gifts.

Kwan: And the Fenton siblings and their friends will have a spot to mourn.

Danny, touched: Thanks, guys. I...I didn't think I'd ever have a grave...

Ghost alarms start going off suddenly and the unmistakable sounds of the Fenton Parents start thundering towards them. Danny quickly turns back human and the whole class scatters as his parents burst in. No one outs Danny. They are actually nicer and body check Wes anytime he's close to outing Danny to anyone. Kwan is polite enough to explain the danger of outing Danny as a ghost when he lives with ghost hating parents after a while. Wes feels kind of dumb for not thinking about that and finally backs off.

Just imagine the chaos and possibility for multicrossovers.

Vampires fighting Batman and/or trying to seduce Brucie.

We’ve already seen Batman beat up Dracula in that The Batman movie. Whom else can Batman take down without his vampire opponent realizing Batman is a human, and if they do realize will they be willing to admit it.

Vlad tries to get back at Brucie by possessing a real vampire and one that Brucie would trust implicitly, Brucie’s lover Batman.

Let’s just say the second verse is the same as the first and Danny gets a new screen saver.

Bruce Wayne beats the shit out of a Vampire!!! Not Clickbait!!!

SO, after Danny is adopted by the Batfam and they accept his Halfa Status, he gives them all their own special Fenton Deflector Badges that will prevent them from being overshadowed and lets them touch ghosts even while intangible

Of course Vlad finds out that his little Badger got adopted by an entirely separate Billionaire and wants to get revenge.

So one day, while Bruce is walking down the street, Vlad tries to overshadow him. He is hoping that he will be able to destroy Bruce’s public reputation and then sell himself Wayne Enterprises, making himself the richest man in the world and making Danny run to him instead.

What actually happens in that Vlad collides face first with Bruce’s back and is knocked to the ground. Bruce turns around, recognizes Vlad, and starts beating the everloving crap out of him.

And across the street, some people are recording it. It looks like a Looney Toons Sequence, with Bruce and Vlad fighting with a bench concealing their view, Vlad and Bruce appearing above a bench, with Vlad holding bruce in a chokehold before Bruce kicks him in the *redacted* and they both fall out of view again,  Vlad trying to crawl away before Bruce drags him back behind the bench, Bruce standing up just in view above the bench, and then proceeding to deliver an Elbow Drop. Basically every comedic fight element you can think of.

The Video gets posted to Youtube and goes Viral within the day.

The Haunting of Danny Fention Chapter 4, Part 2

pls no editing or con crit. I am still sick and this is not edited. i keep choking on air. or my tongue. not fun either way... ANYWAYS!

Dick watched Wally pace back and forth, talking to himself. After Danny had fainted, the static interference had gotten worse, but at least Wally was still there. Dick couldn’t talk his eyes off his boyfriend.

Wally was still there.

Dick brushed his hands through Danny’s hair. They were on the couch, Danny asleep across Dick’s lap. A couch that had been shoved in a corner early on in the sciencing to try and make Danny take breaks. It seems they didn’t do a good enough job.

“Wally,” Dick tried. When he didn’t get through he tried again, louder. “Walls!”

“Yeah Da—Dick! Dick, holy shit,” Wally said and dashed to kneel in front of the couch. “I keep forgetting that — hear me and see — I can hear you! Dick, babe, god I missed you so damn much!”

“Yeah,” Dick said, almost choking on the lump of joy in his throat. “Yeah, I missed so much too. We’ll find a way to get you back out of there. I promise you that we will. Well, I mean, the other’s will mostly unless you need a daring, acrobatic rescue.”

“Hey,” Wally said, voice so soft it was hard to hear over the static. “Never — to a — cue from you. You’re my knight in —. Always.”

“Always,” Dick agreed. He let his head fall back against the couch. “Fuck I need to take this domino off before I fill it up with tears.”

“Even though—” Wally motioned to Danny.

“Yeah. It will be easier if we stop caring about hiding. Besides, daddy Bat looked Danny up, he really was a teen hero. If anyone can understand it, he can,” Dick pointed out. “Raven gave him the okay too. He does just want to help.”

“Wants to — much!” Wally ranted and threw his hands up into the air.

“Yeah, he does doesn’t he? He’ll fit right in with that,” Dick replied. At Wally’s glare he just laughed. “Don’t look at me like that. We’re all horrible. If we weren’t, you wouldn’t be stuck in the Speed Force.”

Wally’s face immediately fell at that. “I’m sorry.”

“Don’t be, you were doing what you do, being a hero. I’m just glad that we have a real shot at getting you back,” Dick said with a little shake of his head. “The others will tattle on me and how much I’ve not been okay, I’m sure.”

“You’ve got to — of yourself, Dick,” Wally said. “I need you to be — when I get back.”

“I will,” Dick promised. “I have been been trying to, it’s just been hard. And I’ll make sure to look after this idiot too. Though I’ll need your help, you seem to be able to sense how he is in a way that we can’t.”

“— been watching him for months. Also, Speed Froce,” Wally said. “He — help. He’s… a good person.”

“And someone you’re fond of, right? No, hey, don’t look ashamed. Sure, it’s been a while since either of us did anything with anyone else, but it’s not like we ever closed the our relationship up.”

Wally still glanced away. Rubbing nervously at his arm. It would be cute if it wasn’t a little heartbreaking. They’d had an open relationship because of Dick. Wally had dated a few other people and joined in the occasional threesome, but nothing like Dick’s clubbing hay days. This was maybe something they should have talked about once Dick had started to settle down more.

“Just — only person I could see and hear. I — and I guess that —” Wally tried to explain.

“Walls, I’ve been dating you for how long? I know what you look like when you’re crushing,” Dick said. “And it’s okay.”

Wally cleared his throat and tried to pretend like he wasn’t blushing. “— blame me? He’s — black hair and blue eyes and is compassionate and smart! — my type, like you should know!”

Dick just laughed. A warm, deep laugh like he hadn’t been able to do while Wally was gone. God it was so good to have him back, even if it wasn’t all the way yet. “Okay, well, Danny sees absolutely out of it, so how about I call the others down so that they can see you? They might stab me if I keep you all to myself.”

“Yes!” Wally agreed so eagerly that Dick had his phone out in and instant to message the other Titans, weird glitchy picture of Wally grinning wildly included.

DC + DP JLD Danny

DC + DP JLD Danny

Danny has to make money somehow right? So he become a cult circle advisor, need help with a spell, incantation, drawing runes? Just call him right up, he even offers classes for beginners.

Naturally he encounters JLD and they are pissed. He’s the reason satan is getting called so often, he’s the reason why they have so many issues? But it’s a perfectly legal business operation, so to prevent their problems, they hire him. He teaches newer magicians, older magicians, he’s the official translator and teacher for the JLD.

The younger heroes love him, he doesn’t pester you, doesn’t scold you if you call the wrong inter-dimensional being. He brings snacks, and hangs up their art, he’s fun. The adults disagree. He scolds them, scowls at them, and most of all pranks them.

The first time a wormhole swallowed them up they freaked, until they saw the “Pranked ya” sign. To the JL Danny with his insufferable Midwest manners is horrible. But ultimately the best at occult stuff so they can’t fire him. Also because he would be right back to making money through cults.

I eventually they call him in to summon “the king of the infinite realms” a title he dumped of Pandora while he was at college. He’s nervous, but does the summoning anyway, because what else is he supposed to do? He needs to pay his bills.

She pops up in her wrath and looks ready to smite them. Before she realizes who they are.. “are you those heroes phantom loves?” Danny groans shrinking into himself, of course she wouldn’t recognize them for saving the world. No just his fanboying. Or should he say Phan-boying?

“A ways unfortunately the king decided to take a vacation in your realm so you won’t be able to contact him,” she groans. “Very nice circle though,” she hums as she looks at it in admiration. Then he eyes widen in understanding.

Then her head snaps up and she looks right at him, “Phantom, you look positively dashing, and Wulf certainly taught you how to do circle wonderfully!” She cheerfully floats over to him. Danny groans.

“Pandora I was supposed to be disguised! Now I have to configure a brand new identity!” He glares at her.

“Right sorry, I forgot the pains of maintaining a mortal identity.” Pandora hums

“Your phantom?” The bat asks. Crap now the justice league is glaring at him!

“Yeah?” He whines staring at them pitifully. He really wanted to finish college. “What?” Green Arrow jumps.

“sure am,” Danny sneers glaring at him. “What? You think ‘he should have told us’?” Danny mocks him. “As if you snobby bag of shit, we learned you know, I’m not dumb enough to let us get hurt!” Danny glares at them.

Pandora sighs, grabbing Danny’s hands, “look they might not know, the acts were kept on the down low;” she soothes. “Just hear them out; they did summon you;” she lets go when Danny nods.

“Fine, what do you want?” Danny crosses his arms, and looks like phantom. The JL stares at him in horror, and he looks remembers, the scars.

He’d panicked when he first saw them asked why they hadn’t healed. Frostbite told him they’d last as long as the trauma did, ghosts were creatures of emotions after all.

“What do you want?” He repeats glaring at them. They seem unnerved, shifting uncomfortably and exchanging glances.

”We were hoping you would deal with a ghost-“ Batman starts.

”Where are they?” Danny cuts him of. Looking around as if they’d randomly appear.

”Currently terrorizing LA with plants.” One of the leave members groans. “We thought is was poison ivy at first-“

“of course it’s f*cking undergrowth!” Danny groans. “Well bye, for good I guess,” he turn to Pandora, “Thank you sooo much for blowing my identity.”

the ghost wilts glowing a little less brightly “Sorry Phantom.”

“It’s fine,” he snaps his fingers and a portal forms.

“Wait! for good?” Superman asks, “Why?”

Danny looks at him in confusion, “I lied, and I’m an eldritch being, “ he sighs “I mean I’ve dealt with it before, I’ll just had back to the realms.”

”Stay,” to Danny’s surprise it’s the bat who says this. “We already have other eldritch beings,” he sighs.

“Maybe,” Danny smiles and steps through the portal, his eyes twinkling like stars.

Stellar Dynamics

You know what.

ANOTHER DPxDC idea (as if I write prompts for anything else lol ✍(◔◡◔)

And once again, I think I might have a hyperfixation rn, another deaged Dani (Ellie) and Dan (Dante)! and Dad!Danny.

And you know what, lets make it another DannyxConner idea.

Danny is on a field trip with his class (NOT in Gotham though, LOVE Gotham but lets go with a different city) in like Central City or Metropolis (If Metropolis, Danny is SUPER excited to see the space sections they have at the museum they no doubt have, because well SUPERMAN is an alien and based in their city. If in Central City Conner is visiting Bart.)

During the trip he bumps into Conner and the two just hit it off. Conner enjoys listening to Danny rant about space and the stars and finds watching Danny's eyes light up in joy kinda cute. And if he got his new hero name Supernova from listening to Danny's rants about the stars well... no one needs to know how he got it.

Danny likes how chill Conner is and how the guy stood against Dash and the other jocks when Dash decided he wanted to mess with Danny during the trip, a rare thing nowadays but sometimes Dash does try, and how he respects/likes Danny's friends.

He didn't even say anything negative or hurtful when he found out Danny has two kids back home.

In the end the two exchange numbers, flirt hard, and maybe set up a date in the future. And then more dates. Becoming boyfriends. AND meeting the family. Conner is smitten with just out of toddlerhood Ellie and toddler Dante and adores them. And he loves how the Fentons just love him the moment he stepped into their house and was introduced as Danny's boyfriend, he made sure to bring over a pie Ma should him how to make.

Things get a bit complicated when Conner, Supernova, is at a reunion of YJ members and his phone lights up with a text message from Danny.

He's smiling with a goofy/soft look when he opens the text and see's its a picture of Danny holding a pouting toddler Dante and Ellie on his lap smiling with a notable gap in her teeth at the camera. The message he got was 'Ellie wanted you to know she finally lost her first baby tooth. Dan's been grumpier, I think he misses you.'

He is pulled out of his happy thoughts and musings when he hears Bart gasp hard and drop a bowl of snacks onto the floor. Conner turns to from the future Speedster and see's him about to have a panic attack.

Bart, Impulse, is having a freak out after catching a glimpse of the text picture Conner had gotten and being nosy wanted to know what got his friend to smile so smitten. He knew of Conner's current boyfriend and the kids Conner adores but haven't had time to be introduced to them or even see a pic.

He wasn't expecting to see the very MONSTER of his NIGHTMARES that basically destroyed the world in the FUTURE as a toddler pouting at a camera and surrounded by two smiling identical looking people either. People he never saw in the future or with HIM AND-

Oh.... OH!

Was that why he turned evil? Did something happen to his family?

Alright so one of the DCxDP Aus:

It's vaugley inspired by another post I can't find where Amity jumps around the country and sometimes field trips turn into week long road trips. Only vague because I saw: Fentons make the school buses turn into alien invasion shelters and brain went burrrrrrrr.

Anyways, so Superman is fighting off against aliens who have kryptonite. He's trying his best but he's failing, he can't get up.

Meanwhile, a school bus full of kids are watching. Amity Park, after their own world nearly killed them all being led by the GIW who managed to convince everyone ghosts were evil, had displaced itself and now bounces around dimensions. Usually it stays for a week so it's safe enough for trips but this time it didn't. No big, Danny can sense a portal in a city called Gotham so they were on their way when BANG invasion.

Danny thinks it's fun and frankly so does everyone else but Lancer who is exhausted.

Then they see Superman being hurt and…

Danny’s Obsession is both Protection and Space. They know Superman is an alien. He is the Ghost King and the class has become his Fraid through time. They all feel the need to protect.

So they do.

Danny bursts out of the bus first as Phantom and starts blasting. Sam is next, vines erupting from the ground to grab and drag aliens away, one of which she drags to Tucker so he can steal their tech to start hacking. Paulina is out with teeth bared and breathing fire, scales appearing. Dash is using his enhanced strength as Kwan using his super speed. Other kids pour out fighting. Then Star shouts: “KRYPTONITE IS HARDENED ECTOPLASAM! WE CAN EAT IT!”

The kids start snatching and chowing down as other heroes arrive. There are no adverse affects so they let the kids have their fun as they help Superman stand up.

At the end of the invasion, Mr. Lancer (who had come out to with a Blastor in hand) sighed. “Is there paperwork? We were trying to get to a portal in Gotham.”

Que: What?

Danny: “Yeah our home town we had to displace from our him dimension after they wanted to experiment on all of us. Amity pops up in a lot of universes and it's fun!”

Star: “Sometimes our field trips end with us finding the nearest portal though. Danny can find them.”

This just gets questions but like, Lancer is filling out paperwork and the teens are chatting with heroes happily so it ends up they just kind of roll with it.

The conversations are weird though.

Danny: “Ranking for this world?”

Sam: “Top ten. Not higher then Faerun.”

Tucker: “You just liked how you got involved in that one cult and helped summon a Nature God to murder a bunch of polluters.”

Sam: “And?”

Paulina: “I like that one world where everyone had some sort of power. That Midoriya kid was cute. To bad we got caught before we could sneak him on the bus.”

Lancer: “No kidnapping anyone to Amity!”

Tucker: “I liked the time we ended up on that one planet- Palaven? That was fun.”

Danny: “Yeah it was!”

The kids move on and Batman escorts them to Gotham. The portal turns out to be the Lazarus Pit (oh joy) and then life moves on.

Until a month later when Flash sees the kids at a Museum and learns Amity Park came back. The city begins hanging around more and we discoverAmith likes this dimension. It eventually settles near Gotham and Metropolis. Sometimes it vanishes but it always returns.

DPxDC and OOC

I've had a couple of posts cross my dash recently where people lament that a lot of the dpxdc fandom writes characters very OOC and how we're proliferating these characterizations among each other. I figured I'd add my own two cents.

I think the fundamental discrepancy comes from trying to reconcile two canons with vastly different tones.

Danny Phantom is a comedy superhero show operating on cartoon logic. Why do ghost experts Jack and Maddie never realize their own kid is a ghost? Why is the status quo restored at the end of every episode? Why does Danny shoot an ectoblast out of his butt that one time? Because it's funny. It's cartoony action fun where the plot is resolved in 22 minutes, there's never any lasting consequences and it's aimed at kids.

DC meanwhile wants to be taken Seriously. Heroes get beaten within an inch of their life, traumatized, killed and even the good guys do messed up things (often to each other). Yes there's action and puns, but also horrific violence, actions have consequences and it's (mostly) aimed at adults. When a main character dies the comics show their family and friends mourning and things are very dramatic. Even though at this point we, the audience can pretty much expect every death to be undone within 2-5 years of publishing, but I digress.

So how do we, the fanfic/fanart creators reconcile these differences when we make our crossovers? We either make DP more serious and somber, or we make DC more comedic.

Suddenly we have a DP verse where the Fentons' bumbling obliviousness is elevated to serious neglect or outright abuse. The GiW are no longer a minor annoyance, they are a serious threat with genocidal plans and a desire to vivisect the protagonist. When actions have consequences, we imagine Danny as dealing with serious PTSD from having to be a solo superhero and witnessing his family's death that one time (and maybe also getting vivisected). Danny is not just a teen superhero, he's now the Ghost King with serious responsibility on his shoulders.

On the flipside, if we make DC more comedic we tend to exaggerate character traits for comedic effect, focus more on the interpersonal dynamics (especially the Batfam) and have the characters act more casual and silly. Suddenly the Batfam goes from a group of seriously messed up individuals who have trouble communicating with each other and fight all the time to Batdad "Kids if you don't stop killing criminals you won't get dessert ffs" Bruce. Violence is played for laughs instead of taken seriously. Yeah they fight, but they still Love Each Other.

And THIS IS PERFECTLY FINE. It's transformative work! And trying to reconcile these disparate fandoms is hard! Fandom is a labor of love. We do it for free. We do it for our own entertainment. And no one is forcing you to read fics you don't like. DLDR and all that.

Absolutely tickled by the idea that, after the accident, everyone thinks Danny is a vampire. Like him being a ghost doesn't sound plausible, but at the same time if ghosts are a thing so to should be vampires. Why do people think this? A couple reasons.

1. They never see Danny eat anymore

-Danny doesnt need to eat as Ectoplasm now sustains him, he doesn't even notice he hasn't eaten in 3 weeks, he just hasn't felt hungry

2. He is now super super pale

-While not the ghostly green/blue of normal ghosts, since Danny is still half alive, his skin looks super pale now, like not deathly pale, but illness pale

3. His breathing patterns are weird, like he purposefully has to remember to breathe

-Danny doesnt have to breathe as much any more, and is slowly loosing the muscle memory of having to, so hes hyper aware of his breathing but if hes focused on something else he forgets

4. He more sensitive towards the sun

-It's less being sensitive to the sun, and more it's just too hot for him during the day, outside of winter and fall, due to his ice core/powers

5. Danny is now cold to the touch

-Again, Ice Core/Powers

6. Danny seems unperterbed with death, and Horror movies, and the like

-After having died himself, hes not sacred of it. Sure there are things that still freak Danny out and make him uncomfortable, but watching a horror movie villain chase teenagers around, or having to disect frogs, or seeing road kill doesn't really effect him anymore

7. He's stronger than his noodle arms would intale

-Danny has a bit of a strength boost in ghost form, and while his human form doesnt have the same amount of strength, hes slightly stronger than he should be. Hes good at hiding it for the most part, but a few times hes shoved Dash away from him and accidentally sent him flying. Oops, sorry not sorry.

8. Enhanced senses

-Danny has night vision now, which is cool, but his senses aren't actually that much more advanced, it's only his ghost sense that makes it seem like he has better senses because he "always knows' when a ghost attack his gonna happen.

9. Hes always drinking from a thermos, and hes super protective of said thermos.

-Liquid Ectoplasm, while Danny doesnt have to eat, he does need a boost here and there after tough fights or after spending too long in human form

10: Fangs

-Danny has little ghost fangs, they're longer in ghost form, at about 2-3 inches, but in human form they're only about 1 inch

Danny has no idea people think hes a vampire. Yeah they're all weirdly polite now but he just thinks that his classmates are maturing and being nicer. Hes proud of them!

Jack and Maddie don't really care. Like they're concerned about how he became a vampire, but since hes not a ghost(as far as they know) and he seems fine they're happy to just ignore it. Same with the GIW, they could care less about blood suckers, vampires belong to different branch of government guys who suck at their job, and they suck at their jobs somehow worse than the GIW so they're not really an issue.

But Jazz, Sam, and Tucker, oh they know. And they think it's hilarious! They also help play it up, because if people think Danny is a Vampire, they won't look too deeply into any connection he might have with Phantom.

So recently Danny has been noticing that his parents with the GIW have been getting stronger and more ruthless and it’s not just him that noticed, the other ghost have started to stay in The Zone than in Amity and after his parents newest invention the Fenton-Rope ( Danny still has scars on his legs and parts on his lower back, and Danny had to stop Phantom from killing his parents which was harder than one would think and this will be important later ) and with less ghost around his Parents and the GIW have started to go after him a lot more than they used to and Danny has had to convince Phantom not to put Amity into eternal winter ( which would be really easy for the Ancient of Ice )

But he digresses until one of his parents invents get a bit too close to his core for comfort and he and phantom make the decision to leave to the ghost zone ( Danny’s dead enough to live in The Ghost zone without the normal consequences that come from a human living there ) but as they were about to leave though the portal ( Phantom and Danny are in their own body’s so separate, this will be important ) but as they power up the portal his parents enter the lab and a fight breaks out well phantom is trying to get the Fentons to back off so he and Danny can leave Jack shoots his Ecto-blaster at Phantom but hits Danny instead but you remember what I said earlier about Danny being dead enough for him to live in the zone well that means that the blasters work on him to and now he’s gone from enough dead to fully dead and is now a ghost

And at this Phantom absolutely loses his shit, he grabs the now ghost Danny and Wails which incases Jack and Maddie in ice and before phantom leaves to the Zone with Danny, he destroys the ice they are in and destroys them too than they go through the portal and Phantom makes a mad dash to his lair which he guesses is Danny’s now -{ Let me explain! So when a ghost becomes a couple like John and kitty or my pharaoh everlasting trio thing and they know that they will together forever their cores notices and merges their lairs together! Now back to this}- and after a bit ( there in their home which is a large castle that is in the heart of their lair ) Danny wakes up and has a breakdown or two because his Parents killed him and that has to do something to a person psyche but a few months later Danny fine and his and phantoms relationship is still very healthy (in ghost standards)

And now onto the DCU part of this thing! So the JL somehow finds out about the stuff the GIW pulled and what the Fentons did ( which have been missing for the past months ) and with the help of JLD are trying to clean up the mess and make peace so they don’t rock their shit

But the Ghost are still a bit salty but are willing so the JL came to the Ghost zone so they can make peace contacts and connections and they go in a team ( Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Arrow, Green Lantern,Martian Manhunter and Tim with his team,Damien, and Dick with Wally ) and they are in a guest wing in the castle ( the ghost don’t what to make sure they don’t die so they mostly make them stay there but are allowed to walk and explore the castle and gardens but not outside of castle grounds) and as Batman with Wonder Woman and Superman walk into the garden they see Danny who is trying to grab a apple from one of the trees ( Danny doesn’t really love apples but when you live in an eternal winter, you tend to miss things like that but not that he doesn’t like the winter he does)

And for Batman with Wonder Woman and Superman see this teenage ghost person who is trying to grab this apple so Superman grabs the apple for him and gives it to him with a smile but as in it given to him it is covered in frost -{Danny has an ice core like his husband, Yes phantom is his husband I take no questions}- and they are a bit surprised but it’s a ghost and they don’t really know what they’re powers are and than they get into a conversation for a few minutes but that’s when Phantom shows up to grab Danny to bring him to the other Ancients

( The other Ancients treated Danny like their children and they have an somewhat in-laws relationship that is passive aggressive but they all adore Danny so they deal with each other )

And phantom just kinda just picked Danny up but Indoing so he somewhat revealed some of Danny’s scars on his legs -{told you this would be important later}-and the misunderstandings begin and it doesn’t help that Danny is often vague about his relationship with Phantom other than he’s his husband

Absolutely!!! I also took so long to answer this but I'm finally compiling a doc of my Danny Phantom headcanons so here are some of my Dash ones!!

Pasting from docs so sorry if it's a bit unreadable/wonky formatting-wise

- His dad is in the GIW

I saw a GIW throwaway character in some later episode of DP that looked kind of a little bit like Dash and thought. Yeah I think that would be funny

Dash is only vaguely aware of this. Like he knows his dad is a part of the military somewhere but like. He’s not super sure what actual part (I chalk this up to government secrecy)

- Par for the course but it has to be said. MASSIVEEE romance nerd. 

This is hinted at in canon but I believe it runs deeper. he has dvds. he has posters. he knows the lines by heart the way this boy has rewatched his favorites. he would make playlists

- Leads me to my next headcanon: He is definitely a romantic. flowers, cards, chocolates. the whole nine yards (or really the whole field) for whoever he’s dating. 

Love language? no, you’re mistaken. This boy has love languages. like. all of them. simultaneously, even

no one who dates him really expects it since he’s Like That (an asshole) but he completely switches up whenever he’s addressing them. To outside observers the dissonance is borderline unnerving

Extending this to TeddyGhost/Swagger Bishie headcanons: Pre-reveal he’s getting gifts for phantom. Post-reveal (and post-character development) he’s ramping it up to 1000% out of guilt. 

Danny would get uncomfortable and tell him to tone it down, it would likely lead to their first big relationship issue/fight they have post-reveal. Leads to a week or two apart before both of them cave simultaneously and have an actual discussion before getting back together.

- Leads me again to the next headcanon: Autistic Dash

no canon evidence. just pure vibes and because I Like It (and am maybe a little bit projecting a teensy little bit. just a little).

Romance movie special interest (of course)

Massive plushie collection. He names all of them and actually feels really bad about keeping them in his closet. Feels like he’s shunning them and he feels like it makes them feel sad/lonely

Extremely uncomfortable with sudden change and will panic hard about it. Does not like feeling like he’s out of control (See: S2E11 Micro-Management) and will quickly shut down if not comforted/reassured about it

Masks by copying other A-Listers and also from observing ‘popular’ characters in his favorite romance movies. Can often be found hanging around other A-listers for this reason, even if he’s not particularly friends with them. 

Prefers to hang around Paulina and Kwan due to the added bonus of genuinely being friends with them. Good to mirror and also good friends! Win-win!

Pressure/impact stims (See: engaging in a lot of high-contact sports (ie. football), and also (again) in Micro Management when Danny snaps him out of panicking via grabbing him)

This also extends to beating up nerds, but that’s purely coincidental. The nerd bullying is a reward of its own of course

Side note: I feel I should clarify these headcanons are not meant to absolve him of responsibility for being a jerk/bully. Autistic people can be assholes & bullies too (Diversity win! /j)

"I just don't see how sitting around is gonna do anything!" Dash argues, face to face with Sam.

"Well, if you have other ideas you're more than welcome to offer them, but we can't just take out the giw. They have more manpower than us, more equipment, and the new agents actually seem to be competent in fights! And we are a bunch of high school students!"

They are all, ostensibly in English Class right now, but even Mr. lancer has forgone the illusion of normal classwork. He assigns books and hands out reading assignments every week, but nobody really cares whether they get turned in or not. The city, after all, has a much bigger problem.

"I don't know! But sitting here-"

"He's not entirely wrong, the longer we wait the more likely they figure it out, just like we all did." As Valerie finishes speaking, the room temperature drops noticeably, and the kids all glance nervously over at Danny who's head hasn't moved from it's spot on his desk. He almost seems dead with how still he is. Beside him Tucker stares at his PDA, the only one who hasn't reacted to the temperature change.

"Should I even ask what you're messing with?" Sam asks, walking over while the others stare nervously at Danny.

"Actually, yeah." Tucker easily shifts so they can both see the webpage displayed on the handmade tech. "I got something through."

"I thought getting stuff through wasn't really the problem?"

"I mean, yeah, they're letting Everything Is Normal posts through, but this wasn't. That. I was, um, kind of fucking around with ciphers and shit? Not saying anything relevant, but just seeing whether they'd flag any old weird shit, you know? And um. I got a video out."

"Okay, but how does that help us?" Valerie asks.

"It helps because if they let a cipher through then means if I encode shit well enough, then it'll also get through."

"But if it's, like, that hard to figure out what it says, then won't it be useless on the outside?"

"The chances of it getting into the hands of someone who could crack it do seem, uh, improbable."

"Not if we stack the deck."

"Wes-"

"No, listen, I know you're all still mad at me, but like. If you can attract a community of codebreakers? Then eventually someone will crack the code on what you need them to!"

"If you have an idea then just fucking say it, Wes," Sam snaps.

"Make an ARG. We can even have like, the base level be completely United to anything real, just make up a story about, i dunno, space travel? And then bury the actual info beneath that. Eventually somebody will crack into the real stuff, and if it's popular enough by then, and the GIW tries to suppress it? That'll be even more suspicious-looking, and just make them dig harder."

"What the fuck is a ARG?" Dash asks, pulling his gaze away from their definitely-just-sleeping classmate.

"Augmented reality game. It's like an unfiction thing. Make a story but the story is interactive and people have to decode shit to figure out what's going on." Tucker glances over to Wes. "And actually not a bad idea. If we all work together, we could probably make something cool."

"You could treat it as a class-wide project." Mr. Lancer says, making everyone jump. "That way I can back you up if anyone starts asking questions."

"Make it about black holes," Danny says, finally pulling himself up from his desk. "We can base it in wormhole theory, and distract the GIW with all the theoretical science."

"What, so like we make videos that seem like they're being sent through a black hole?"

"Fuckin. Sure, why not? As if shit couldn't get any weirder around here."

"Star, please try to refrain from swearing in front of me. I know the situation is - difficult - but I am officially still your teacher."

"Sorry, Lancer."

Extra notes:

+ Paulina and Dash are the two models in the picture :) (with a tiny Star at the bottom). They and all of their friends who bullied Danny have chosen to work inside of his castle in order to make up for their past. I hate the idea of “victim forces their bullies to become their servant for revenge”, so I choose to believe that Paulina and Dash voluntarily chose to become Danny’s employees. They technically just count as extra bodyguards and do some errands for him when they have free time, unlike Sam and Tucker who are with Danny 24/7.

+ Because the Observants are so paranoid, most humans inside of the Phantom Castle do not have weapons (except for Jazz, Valerie, and Wes). However, Danny didn’t like the thought of them being defenseless, so he advocated for them and Tucker developed their wrist guards, which form shields when the buttons are pressed. Said shields are able to protect them from both ghost attacks and human bullets but can’t really do much else.

+ Paulina and her friends help Sam and Valerie in defending Danny when needed. They rarely attack people, but when they do, it’s incredibly vicious. Dash and the boys tackle people when protecting Danny tho lmao

+ Wes works as Valerie’s attendant and assistant and mainly works with Jazz and Tucker in counsel/advising and informative work. He wears a mask similar to Valerie’s and wears red in order to differentiate himself from the others. He also receives a few weapons from Valerie to protect himself bc he’s Valerie’s closest ally and she does not fully trust anyone else.

+ I like Wes as Valerie’s best friend bc I believe that when she heard that Wes was investigating Phantom, she immediately befriended him for his investigative abilities and bc she was so lonely when she lost all of her friends. (Also, I think it’s funny asf to imagine Wes pulling his hair out bc Valerie won’t believe him when he says Danny is Phantom, even tho she literally fights him everyday.)

+ The design for both Paulina and Dash both look servant-like, despite how I tried to avoid it. It is somewhat unintentional because I wanted them to have formal, but practical clothing without looking like any of the others. The fact that they’re uniforms doesn’t help 😞

+ Like Jazz, the black veil is meant to resemble a mourning veil. The idea was that Danny’s human friends would wear it as a sign of mourning for him, while the “gods” wore masks as burial shrouds and to hide their human faces. The only two humans who don’t wear a veil are Valerie, who was chosen to kill Danny if he ever went rogue, and Wes, who is loyal only to Valerie.
