hi d20 people! Specifically those of you who has watched all of mismag s2 so far. Would you mind spoiling it for me?

Specifically about Evan’s death, how it’s handled and how it affects the plot. I lost a family member not long ago and watching media with death and grief is a tricky area atm, especially with d20 as their shows tend to be my comfort shows.

So just any details are appreciated, how did the cast handle it, was there a lot of shown grieving, is he alive again, what happened afterwards etc etc.

the most upsetting part of rewatching the unsleeping city is when brennan says that a bacon egg and cheese costs $2.50 when the cheapest i find a bacon egg and cheese now is $5

the fact that Grix is possibly about to be destroyed and presumably Jace Stardiamond is gonna take over Aguefort Academy makes me very suspicious of him, especially considering I don't think they ever addressed why he was seen talking to Kalina and Arianwen by Ragh (who was blackmailed into never telling anyone about it!)

Doreen said "don't trust the faculty"... maybe that's not something that should have been dismissed so quickly after they found Kalvaxis out

I was remembering Jawbone’s line to Adaine: “you’re easy to love, and anyone who couldn’t figure it out was a real bozo”

And I thought, if someone said that to me, I would be SO healed

But then I reminded myself how I’m done relying on other people for my healing.

So I said it to myself.

And it did heal a part of me. But I think what it did more than that was reinforce this idea that I’ve been working on that self love is the most important love. Because not only are you there for yourself when no one else is, also even when there are so many people who love you- who truly, truly, deeply love you- if you don’t love yourself, it can negate all their love.

I am grateful that I am finally in a place where I can say those words and believe them to be true.

But I wasn’t always. And I know that probably some of you aren’t either.

So here. I’m Fig, leading you to the mirror for affirmations. You don’t have to believe it, when you first say it. But the idea is that you come to believe it.

Say it to yourself. Say it until it becomes true, and then say it again. Until you figure out how easy you are to love.

i need to have a discussion with one mr. brennan lee mulligan about how my chemical romance makes beautiful music that has given queer and mentally ill kids a comfortable place to be angry while also encouraging them to keep marching on and to be themselves no matter what anybody tells them. i need to sit bleem down and explain the plots of three cheers, the black parade, and danger days so that he understands how creative and interesting that the music made by this band is. ruben is an awsten knight or pete wentz if anything how dare you sir.
