every time agatha was busy draining witches, rio tried to arrive early to keep nicky distracted from the mass murdering

i like to imagine her hurriedly appearing to cover his little ears from the screams

and—when agatha had visuals on nicky while killing—rio showing up in the form of an animal friend to distract him

when nicky was a baby, rio accidentally bonked their heads together while giving him butterfly kisses and she's probably still apologising for it and occasionally examining the now non-existent bonk mark 270 years later

agatha and nicky both love to use it to take the piss out of her—faking headaches, sudden vision loss and generally just reminding her of the incident

rio will start crying about it

rio has made every kid who's ever even mentioned nicky's lack of a "father" wish they were dead

perhaps even thrown a few threatening lydia tár-esque "i'm nicky's father" into the mix ever so often

rio usually calls nicky "mijo" but "my perfect little angel boy" is a close second

the reason we never saw victoria the tarantula—rio's familiar—in aaa is obviously that rio left her to keep a watchful eye over nicky back in their realm

I just saw a text post about how ravenclaw never won the house cup bc they were doing chaotic things to feed their thirst for knowledge. and yeah, maybe that was true for the years between the marauders era and the golden era, BUT ID LIKE TO PROPOSE THAT RAVENCLAW'S LOSS IN THE MARAUDERS ERA WAS ATTRIBUTED TO BARTY CROUCH'S PERSONAL BRAND OF CHAOS.

15 points lost for "borrowing" ingredients from the potions classroom to make pepperup potions to sell to other students for 2 sickles each during exam season.

30 points for combining incendio and expelliarmus to stop a professor from reading the note he was passing to evan.

50 points for sneaking into the restricted section to write down a spell that he then used to make any snowmen built on hogwarts grounds sing dirty christmas songs at top volume.

100 points for putting bright blue hair dye in all the showers (except for ravenclaw) the night before a ravenclaw vs slytherin quidditch match that didn't wash out for a whole month.

150 points for enchanting the headmasters chair to look the same while having the consistency of slime, so when dumbledore sat down, the chair bounced him off and tried to launch him into the sun.

everytime I read a "Percy is touched by the sight/prophecy" fic I get chills. Because they're so good? Considering demigod dreams are already somewhat of a mess that they have to interpret and use, having that extra kick of "what is going on" for Percy who pretty much just let's things happen and chooses at a critical moment? It's a great reminder of one: Percy is weirdly smart and just doesn't have the confidence to enact it. And two: Percy is gonna make some really weird choices and then not explain himself because even he doesn't know what he's about to do

i spent a lot of time when leon was a puppy just counter conditioning him to loud noises and yelling because i live with kinda loud people and didn´t want him to be scared of things like thunder/fireworks

i did actually pull it off and now he thinks yelling and things like banging or clapping are "fun play sounds" and when people try to intimidate him out of being over excited they just get a himbo collie body slamming them
