Matt pretends he doesn't want to be Daredevil (again). Frank and Karen show up#just when all hope is gone that this season had a point#I think they really should have kept Foggy around at least 3 episodes (this show didn't make me cry and it should have). He should have#started to recover or looked okay and THEN BAM he's gone and Karen and Matt drift apart and a year passes and then we can roll into whateve#the rest of this was#If you compare it to the original show it's missing heart and soul and... IMO a point... a reason for being that expands Matt's character#that expands the universe and builds on what came before#This was a foundation season. And I did read that it was supposed to be that before I started watching but still.#ANYWAY. I love this entrance by Frank. I LOVE that KAREN SENT HIM. I LOVE THAT HE SHAVED.#Matt knows where he lives. yesterday i walked past a house that was selling hazel walking sticks for £4 each from their garden with an honesty box and i kind of wanted one but had no cash on me they were nicely carved and rounded on the ends with the bark left on

#yes Lucanis has been told what he's going to do with his life for his entire life and has not been able to make a lot of choices for himself#this has no bearing on how he has no moral issue with killing people for money#which is what I was saying: he has no moral issue with killing people for money and some of you are clearly uncomfortable with that#because you're bending over backward to insist that he does actually deep inside have an issue with being a contract killer#when it is INCREDIBLY clear and he discusses this multiple times that he does not have any issue with being paid to stab people to death#I can't even discuss other aspects of Lucanis because you're all so unwilling to accept the specific point I'm making#which is that the text makes it incredibly clear that Lucanis does not have any issue with being killer for hire#he has no issue with the “killing people as a profession that he engages in”#he flat out dismisses the idea that there is any moral issue to be had when Emmrich and Davrin ask him about it#you all want him to have a moral issue with the core premise of “killing people” because you struggle with the idea he does not have one#because you're all very convinced that if he chose for himself that he would choose to have an issue with murder#but he doesn't#when he engages in what you consider “making it more palpable” to him it is actually not related to the murder at all#in fact the things he does extra isn't even un-Crow-like necessarily—it's just making things more complicated and less efficient#by avoiding doing things that are not part of the contract and thus aren't necessary to do even if it would make it easier#it is still not an issue with performing murders for money!#I know I'm repeating myself a lot here but people really are doing Olympic floor gymnastics routines to avoid what I'm trying to say#which is that the text is very clear Lucanis does not have a moral issue with the part of his job where he is hired to kill people#(also to that refutation asserting that Lucanis's “enjoyment” is derived from going after objectively bad people#how did you miss the part where Lucanis HATES it when people say that when THEY kill it's Noble And Good only)#(Also his contracts are not strictly Venatori. Luxaeterna, a participant in the first true battle of the war between the Rainwings and Icewings, the Battle of Stolen Light. Her venom-fangs were torn out by an Icewing poacher, and after surviving and avoiding capture, replaced them with harder gemstone teeth. She’s well known for the number of Icewing skulls she’s impaled throughout the war. She is Boomslang and Quetzal’s great aunt. Postwar, she has been reunited with her living grandnephew and accompanies him for scale retrieval in the Ice and Sky Kingdoms.
Quetzal in his last moments before being murdered by an Icewing poacher. He had sold Boomslang’s egg to the Icewings in the hopes of gaining immunity from the scale trade- but he learned far too late that a bargain can’t be kept with someone who wants to wear your skin.

honestly the osc does kinda suck now but it isn't really that much worse than its ever been. ppl used to think it was genuinely immoral to ship fireafy or trophan. they'd send their followers to attack you and send you death threats over shipping OBJECTS. in 2018 nsfw was so incredibly normalized in a fandom of mostly kids that there were multiple fandom-wide inside jokes about porn. ppl were always kinda mean and weird just in different ways and now we're in our negativity ragebait era. but i have faith that someday we won't be <3
#maybe ppl just have to leave and new people will join idk#i still miss my friends from 2020 and all the people who used to be in the osc. some of them still are but soo many ppl left </3 come back#i don't always want to be like 10 years older than the average osc member😭😭#especially if creators start leaving we won't have object shows!!!!!#i hope the osc can persevere for decades in the way furries have even if the “mainstream” shows and creators keep changing#txt#inanimate insanity
