I've seen so many people say Something Bad is the worst song on Wicked, and even advising ppl to skip it or use it as the bathroom break on the movies and all I can think is...what the actual fuck is wrong with y'all?

Something Bad, to me, is a legitimately emotionally charged and heartbreaking song that touches on the MAIN PLOT of the whole thing. It's the most obvious allegory and the message is so clear a fucking toddler can understand what is going on and what it represents, the allegory, the entire message about oppression, repression of minorities, etc. Do y'all seriously not understand the song? The entire musical?

Like, what the fuck!

And ppl using it as a bathroom break on the theaters? What the fuck! The movie's rendition is EVEN MORE heartbreaking than the stage play! The other animals, the sillouettes, the way the cassowarie and the tiger react to them! AND WHEN DR. DILLAMOND BLEATS? AND YOU SAY YOU DON'T LIKE THIS SONG?

And honestly, I blame the writing. They legit let the animals fade into a subblot, and ppl really felt incentivised to give a fuck about them, and I'm thankful the movie is giving more light to them, but still. I truly hope they flesh out Elphaba's relationship with the animals and they fix the honest shitshow that act 2 really is

Honestly, Nicholas and Nathaniel would kill it in the roles of Dr. Dillamond and the Wizard in Wicked on Broadway. The characters line up with the roles so naturally.

We are now entering The Grandiose Emerald City Territory.

I couldn't be happier seeing this come to life, and being able to immerse ourselves to the beautiful world of Oz. Everyone around the globe now has a chance to see this gorgeous masterpiece around the globe without waiting for a tour. This would definitely reach every corner of the world and I cant wait to welcome them to the stories of unlikely of stories ever told, by creatures, foes, lovers, and friends...best friends.

I cant wait to welcome Elphaba and Glinda back to my hearts and will stay with this Act 1 of this film. And I know for sure that I will ready my wand and broom for its Act 2.

I love the Wanted AU and all the Hunter angst, also now I can't help but think that that the AU would be very hard for Eber too, with Darius disappearing one day.
