Update!!!
I'm sorry for not posting anything on here or ao3 for the past week. I was in an area with little to no internet, so I couldn't update even if I wanted to, and I forgot to inform you guys of this before leaving for the 4th. I'll try to get stuff back up and running this week, and I hope it wasn't too much of a wait!

now say it with me: authors/artists dont owe you moral purity. an author/artist job is not to hold you by the hand & tell you exactly what is Good™ & what is Bad™. you should be able to think for yourself

Hey all,
Sorry it’s been a little bit since I’ve updated. Been busy with work irl.
We’ve recently gotten a lot of rain which has been good for some plants and not so good for others. The aloe is looking a little stressed and the fig is getting some brown spotting on the leaves. It’s not horrible as I caught it early and sprayed organic fungicide on it. I also had patches of dirt grow white fungus I had to dig out with a shovel so it didn’t spread and it seems ok now. The lime tree is dropping leaves which I think means a nitrogen deficiency? So I will be adding some soon. One of the blueberries is getting blight (the one that had it the most severe last year) but it’s not as bad as last year. The other blueberries seem ok but I think another is not healthy either. The canes are long and green but the leaves fell off. It does have berries on it and the berries look fine in comparison to the blueberry I have that has lots of berries. While not bad imo, I’ve noticed that my lemon and olive trees haven’t really grown. They’re not dying or sick looking but neither have flowered this year. We got the lemon 2 yrs ago and the olive last year.
Everything else seems to be doing nicely. The gala apple had an aphid problem but I sprayed about 2 weeks ago and it’s cleared up fine now and it’s looking great. The blood orange has new growth on it. The peaches and plums are doing fine. The peach trees did drop one peach but I decided to prune off the other 2 that were growing to focus on root growth (we got them last year). The banana is doing some major growing and even has a 2-2.5inch pup growing next to it! A pup is basically a baby banana. I need to figure out when a good time to transplant it is so it can survive. The blackberries are doing amazing (I’m in an area where blackberries grow natively) and most of the raspberries are doing great. One did get a fungal infection that looked like powdery mildew but it’s been doing ok since I’m spraying once a week. I think that the extra rain we’ve been getting is the culprit so I’m hoping to let the roots dry for a few days before watering.
The melons (watermelon and cantaloupe) are doing fantastic as they’ve started to flower already—they loved the rain🌧️ and same with our grapes🍇
The wildflowers are starting to make buds so I’m excited to have those pollinators💐🪻🌻
The remaining pink guava is doing great and I still can’t believe it didn’t die with my papaya. I also have some new pineapple tops going since the big one I had died in the freeze earlier in January. I’m hoping to get either some strawberries or a papaya tree later this week.
The tomatoes, peppers, green beans, potatoes, radishes, cucumbers, and corn are all doing amazing and some of the corn already has silk coming in. Behind the greenhouse a patch of native sunflowers has exploded. We had a huge sunflower grow about 7ft tall and when it died, we never picked up the seeds so now it’s a sunflower patch instead of a single big one🌻🌻🌻
I’m hoping to get some good pics of the garden later this week or this weekend but for now, check out the first blueberry harvest🫐🫐

Here's another Disney Princess/LU crossover! I think that Twilight and Belle would get along well (similar farm/country background), and I think that Twilight and the Beast would be able to share trauma about being cursed into, well, a beast. Also, Belle and Twilight share a love of horses and I think they have similar compassionate personalities! Some of her stories might hit a little too close to home though...
Hope everyone is having a wonderful November!! Reblogs are appreciated 🩵
