I'm in the mood to do some spellwork. Send me an ask with a type of spell you need/want, and I'll cast it for you (probably with my own twist, lol). Then I'll post it with instructions and any results I noticed so others can build on that too.

what are some witchy techniques for dark feminine confidence
Witchy Tips for Confidence
• Watch the Witch Archetype Video (linked below) or Read the booklet for more depth.
youtube
• Repeat Daily Affirmations that keep you on track. Your mindset is the most important thing when it cones to confidence and repeating daily affirmations will help you stay on track.
Tumblr media
• Envision being your Dream Self or Archetype, with the power to influence the room effortlessly. (Check out my post on Spell-casting).
• Try deep breathing and imagine yourself getting more powerful, healthy and insightful with each breath.
• Black Cat Energy. When you're around others preserve your energy. Be the listener rather than the talker. Say no (if you feel that internally) rather than yes. Observe people and see if they're good enough for you instead of wondering "Am I good enough for them?" & Be unapologetic about your presence and taking up space.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
• Trust your spell-work. If you've performed a protection or attraction spell, act accordingly. Walk as if you are the most protected attractive person in the room. People will be wondering 'Why is she/he so confident?' And it’s because you know how to trust and go with the flow.

I’m completely new to this stuff but I believe I have some sort of ability believe it or not I want to be able to unlock my abilities without anything evil involved do you think you could help?
First, welcome to the craft!
Second, witchcraft is a practice based on intention and perception. For example, I don't practice baneful magic and some do. Does that make them evil? I can't answer that since I don't know them. Casting a spell of revenge on someone who has wronged many people could be seen as baneful...or justice ⚖️
If you don't want to work with forces that may be seen as negative...then there's no need to.
The best place to start would be to join groups and ask questions about the things that interest you! There are so many ways to practice!
I started with Wicca, but found that it was not the way for me. There are beliefs in the religion that don't fit for me and I'm not looking for a religion. So I decided to keep looking and found that the universe (and subsequently division and spell bottles) called out to me ✨ I then built my practice from that interest!
I hope you find a path that piques your interest and if you have any questions, feel free to ask 😌

What's the recipe to enchant jewelry I've been looking for months I only find testimonials and people telling me it can be done but I have no clue how
I think i see the confusion and why you aren't getting a clear answer. There isn't one recipe to enchant jewelry. Theres a million ways to do it and the exact "recipe" you'd use to enchant a piece of jewelry would drastically change depending on what the intention behind the working is. You can enchant jewelry for abundance, protection, help you focus, self- love, dominance, ect. Any type of spell can be turned into an enchantment on a piece of jewelry.
I could share basic general steps to do an enchantment but im not sure if thats what you need. If you need more help like what herbs/Ingredients to use, shoot me another message with the specific intention you want to enchant your jewelry with. i'll try my best to help.
✨General How to Enchant An Item✨
Gather your ingredients that match your intention. To enchant an item i would use: a bowl, herbs, oils/waters, candles in a color that matches the intention, and the item we're enchanting. Depending on the intention there might me more items i would use but im keeping this super general since you didn't mention an exact intention. If you dont have oils/waters just skip the parts i mention them.
Do any prepwork you like for spellwork. Cast a circle, call on your spirits, call on the elements, ect.
Cleanse yourself, the item we're enchanting and items we're using. Personally i'd smoke cleanse but you can use whatever you'd prefer. I usually ground myself while doing this too.
Prep your hands by rubbing your oil/waters into them while focusing on this spells intention.
Rub any access oil/water onto the candles youre using and place them around the bowl/plate. If youre not using oils, hold them in your hand for a second while focusing on your energy going into them.
Light the candles
Optional: Write out a petition with your exact intention behind the enchantment. place this at the bottom of the bowl. I would put the same oils/water on this as well.
Begin adding your herbs to the bowl/plate. Spending time activating each one and telling it how it will work in this spell. If its on a plate i would make a circle with them.
Finish adding any other spell ingredients.
Hold the item youre enchanting in your hands. Focus again on your energy going into the item. However that looks for you.
If i had a spoken spell to go along with the enchantment i would say it now while holding the item
Place the item on the herbs in the bowl/in the circle on the plate.
I usually sit with the item for awhile focusing on energy entering into it. Allow the candles to burn down, and i would let the item charge on my altar for 24 hours.

To fade away
you must spray
a concoction clear
with the steps here.
One black cauldron prepared
with water and a fire kept.
First, a demiard of black sand
is a must for a working command.
Next, clear quartz you must add
crushed and not more than a tad.
Sparkly, crystal fairy wings; one pair
should make it glimmer in the air.
Now, clockwise, you must mix.
Keep a steady stir, times six.
A white colour it must be.
The colour of pearls, you see.
One petal of a rose black,
should make the colour lack.
To finish, three drops
essence of blackthorn flower; tops.
Grey smoke shall rise
and a finished potion is the prize.
To use this potion,
spray and make this motion.
Three circles complete.
Opposite direction, repeat.
Now, chant! Nice and loud!
“Cover this! Cover with a shroud!
“No man or beast, no one shall see!
“No one shall see whomever they be!
“Light, heed my call!
“Heed my call and hide from all!”
Now, with this you have achieved,
total veiling and others deceived.

Hello! I hope all is well with you. I've become interested in spirit keeping and spirit work recently, and I noticed that spirits can be purchased on Etsy? Maybe that's not the right way to phrase it, but essentially you can adopt a spirit and the seller binds them to you (or an object.) Is this legit? I was hoping to purchase one but I really don't want to end up wasting money. The seller in question has like 1000 positive reviews.
Thank you for your time!
Hello!
So as far as "spirit keeping" i generally dont use this term do to its original negative connotations versus "spirit work". As spirits do not need to be "kept" if that makes sense?
And spirit shops are a legit thing. As a retired spirit shop owner. Some practioners use discord but others use etsy or any other e-commerce platform.
When you want to adopt a spirit, the seller usually does a ritual that binds them to you or an object, aka "vessels" normally this requires the consent of the spirit itself. Alot of spirit shops have to go through a lengthy process of "vetting" a spirit throughout a certain time span to make sure that spirit is who they say they are before even getting to the pairing process.
I believe i touch more on those topics HERE and HERE
But as far as etsy goes and any other shop the only advice i can give is to check the reviews (which youve already done) BUT ALSO look at the particular listings.
Some things to think about (potential red flags) when looking at the shop are: ⬇️
What species of spirits do they have? Are they selling entites of a closed species from closed cultures? (species from closed cultures are not to be messed with. Theyre closed for a reason)
Are they selling entities that are classified as children? If so i would avoid at all costs.
Are the prices reasonable? Personally i wouldnt pay for a vessel that costs over $200+ depending on the spirit and any exlcusive add-on packages the seller offers
Do they they have a multitude of the same species that looks like theyre being mass produced? Spirit conjuring takes alot of energy and is not easy. The likelyhood of a person housing a 1000 spirits at a time is not realistic. Ex: Sanguine Vampires and the product says that have a 100.
Do the profile prompts look copied and pasted? Does the information look the same but just reworded differently? No spirit is one in the same.
Does the species abilites look to good to be true? Ex: Spirits CANNOT heal you/alter or interfere with any form of your health physically or mentally. They cannot cure physical sickness. Most can only aleviate and heal energetic pain or most likely provide energy rebalancing, and aid in specific forms of magic.
Whats their binding ritual like? Do they provide any information about their vetting and binding processes? Are they transparent and professional when interacting with potential clients? (ime i would let the spirit form a bond with a client or object naturally as i always felt the bond was much stronger vs. an artifical binding)
But this is just a short list of things to look out for. Its really up to you to decide if your ready for a spirit companion. Personally i wouldnt recommend getting one until a deep dive of research is done. Especially considering of what type of entity you want to interact with.
Assuming you might be a beginner i usually recommend local elemental spirits as i find theyre the easiest to work with.

I’m creating a larger post that talks about my practices and the things I may do on a day to day basis with my deities and my spell work. I’m wondering if there’s any questions any of my followers and mutuals would want me to talk about? Especially as someone that does tarot readings often. What would you like to know about the person you’re asking for a reading from? Let me know!!!

Hey there!
I was wondering if you knew of or had any rites or recipes that would aid one with reconciliation in the matters of a friendship. I am looking for something that will help me not only get through to the individual I'm trying to make amends with, but one that will help heal and clarify the situation at hand. If I can fully rectify and mend the friendship, that would be the most optimal case scenario.
On another note, if you can share, what are some ways you utilize High John root in your practice and is this root particularly coveted by the Others?
Thank you as always!
On a Friday, fill a small vessel with Sweet Almond Oil and steep it with a mixture of Mint Leaves, Orris Root, Rose Petals, and a bit of Honey. Allow this to steep for one week before straining out the solid materials and setting them aside. As you ready this oil for its steeping, say a prayer invoking each plant used, and thanking them for their aid. If you are able to leave offerings for living specimens of these plants, it is all the better. For the honey, give thanks to all bees and flowers, and praise the fruits of their ancient relationship.
Align your space, raise your power, and call forth any pertinent forces you work with before proceeding with the spell.
Inscribe one Pillar Candle with your full name and inscribe a secondary one with your friend's full name, before anointing both with the previously crafted Oil. Anoint a natural fiber cord with the same oil and then secure each end of the cord around the base of each Pillar Candle. Kindle your candle, followed by the other candle, and fumigate them both with Dragon's Blood while saying, "With clarity and kindness, do I draw us back together." Punctuate this statement with whatever cultural variation of "so be it" is most significant to you.
Allow these candles to burn down and dispose of any remnants in running water flowing towards you.
—————————
As for your second question:
I mostly utilize High John Root in spellwork having to do with Attraction, Persuasion, and/or Domination. And I have never seen or experienced anything one way or another where the Folk and this root are concerned, but I've never looked into it either.

what is the sec peach spell you mentioned?
@asksecularwitch designed a spell for acquiring peach cobbler within a week. It's a great spell for testing paradigm stuff, in my opinion, because the results are so measurable. Either you end up with peach cobbler in a week, or you don't.

Hi! I was just wondering if you had any tips on where to find information on how to dedicate an altar/how to figure out who to dedicate your altar to? I'm trying to figure out how to get started! I'm trying to find more info on the gods/goddesses but can't really find anything!!
please get to me when you can!
(if you could @ me if/when you reply that'd be great thank you!)
Hey there!
This is an interesting question that has a bit of a complex answer. I've noticed in books and resources about altars, they often go over general working altars. I'll do my best to help, but this will be a bit of a longer answer because there's multiple layers to dive into and I'm a bit of a yapper. I’m not sure if you're new to deity work or practicing witchcraft in general. I’ll be answering for both so even if you aren’t new to the practice in general, this can help those who are! ☺️ ps. Don't take a shot everytime i write the world altar.
Two Types of Altars:
First it's important to note there are commonly two types of altars in modern witchcraft. A “working” altar, where we do our spells, rituals, and the bulk of our practice. Then there is a “deity” altar, which is a space given in dedication to a god we worship and/or work with. Usually a place where offerings are given. These two kinds of altars can overlap. Personally my altar for The Morrigan sits mixed in with my working altar. This works fine for us as she is my patroness and works with me on all my spells. I like having Her front and center. You might mix them together due to space, deity work not being a massive priority, just wanting them together, and so on. BUT. I think it's important to emphasize, you do not have to have a deity altar. There are a million reasons you might not, from just beginning a relationship with a god, to not even working with gods in your craft. When working with a new god I often don't have an altar space for them, I will give them offerings on my working altar as a thank you. When I have a stronger relationship and feel called to, I'll then make space for an altar in dedication to them. I’ll touch on the “how” of making a deity altar in a bit, but I wanted to note the two types and how they're different. Again, I'm not sure how new to witchcraft you are. However don't feel pressured to have a deity because you think they're necessary for an altar. Connecting to a god/godddess:
Now I think its important to touch on connecting with a deity. Based on your question, I'm assuming you don't currently work with a god/goddess. Before you even consider working/worshiping a deity, you need to know who they are. This means starting a relationship with them. Once you have that relationship you can build an altar right away, or like me, choose to wait. Like I mentioned above, I would still leave out offerings, just on my working altar instead of building someone I barely know an altar space. You mentioned trying to find more info on the gods/goddesses and having a hard time. This may be because you want to look into specific gods/goddesses. Once you have a relationship, making an altar is personal and changes from person to person. Even when they work with the same god. Without even having a specific god, I can see how finding information would be hard on how to begin building your altar. Spend time looking into pantheons like Greek, Roman, Celtic, Norse, Egyptian, ect. Once you find one you're interested in you can dive into trying to connect to a god/goddess and researching them. I won't go too in depth about connecting to them right now, this would be never ending if i began that soapbox. However, if you want to know more about that let me know. The Meat and Potatoes: How to make a deity altar + Tips
Step One: Research them. I will spend a lot of time before I even work with a deity researching them. I do a mix of looking at articles, mythos, and peoples posts about the god/goddess. Find books about them if you can. Look at the boring articles and their history as well as modern witches' posts on youtube, tumblr, tik tok.. Modern practitioners' information shouldn’t be taken as law, you always want to cross reference, but their insight is still very useful. You want to try and find correspondences, likes, dislikes and as much information as you can. Look up things like “ (god name) Correspondences” , “Mythology of (god name)” , “Colors associated with (god name)”  even just the name and see what comes up. I will try and read anything I can get my hands on, writing it down and cross referencing it. Once I have a list of items they like, colors, herbs, incense, mythology, ect. I’ll do divination with them to confirm my findings. You might find a god is listed almost everywhere with red, purple and black as their favorite colors. But, doing divination they’d prefer you only use purple and black for them. Your practice with them is personal so I highly recommend doing as much divination as you can to confirm until you can intuitively see what they’d like. Even bringing a pendulum with you if you're shopping for things to go on their altar can help.
Step 2: Dedicating + The Altar A deity altar is a space dedicated to that god. That's it. We then decorate it with items the god likes, reminds us of them, tools to help us connect with them, and offerings. To dedicate it to a god can be as complex or simple as you choose. For a simple way to dedicate it: Go into a meditative state or take a few moments to ground yourself. Cleanse the space with your preferred method, personally i'll do a mix of smoke, sprays and bells to cover the elements. Sit in front of the space and invite your god/goddess into the space. Verbally I'll say something along the lines of "I welcome (god) into this space, dedicated as a place for us to connect and commune". You can then actually make your altar using the list of what they like! Pick candles in the colors they like, put out offerings of their favorite herbs. There isn't a specific set up you need to do either. The altar is meant to serve as your personal connection to them.
People will often place statues of the god, candles they can light as offerings of energy, dishes to place offerings, items from nature, and gifts to their god. Once you have your dedicated space you get to truly make it your own, you can basically put anything as long as your god/goddess likes it. I recommend trying to make your own altar before looking at other peoples for inspiration, however if you have no idea still go to Pinterest, tik tok, or other places people have felt open to sharing their altars to pull inspiration.
Im sorry i dont have specific recommendations, but I hope this helps you get your feet wet a bit! If you have any follow up questions let me know. 🖤 @itakeadvantageofbeingpretty
