I like thinking Sprout doesn't really sleep much, but also it's mostly because he can't relax at all most of times. He got better nights of sleep when he had some sleepovers with the other mains, or with cosmo, and now with Dandy.

In some way Mochi also helps him sleep better :3 (Most of time because she tires him out pretty quick, babies are hard to manage bro).

so for a bit of backgrounf for my non penny fans-> girl world is described as ‘a feminist love letter to every girl’ and its a song about, surprise, girls. in the song, penelope states how she loves all women, even the women that soceity hates. its about girlhood and its besutiful and i love it so much and-

‘god bless girls who do what they have to do to get what they want’ - first off, i know foesnt fit with marie because she DOESNT get what she wants!! she actually CANT get the things she wants!! (living mother and father, freedom etc) so how does it tie in with her? what if ‘what they want’ is referring to different things? what if they were referring to how she wants her father off her back, to stop pressuring her and critiquing her every move? she’ll do what she has to do to get what she wants, but they arent her wants, theyre her fathers wants.

‘god bless girls who sacrifice (to have a good time, to give life a shot)’ - so we’re gonna ignore the last part for now because marie cant sacrifice to have a good time or give life a shot im sorry. but she does sacrifice!! she sacrifices her childhood, she sacrifices her innocence to keep up with her father’s demands, she sacrifices imperfections because you cant have those in the swan household, she sacrifices her true self, she sacrifices rest, breaks, you name it, and she sacrifices her hair. so yeah, god bless girls who sacrifice.

Lips and eyes, bones all in a line, crunching the numbers in her Fibonacci head’ - ALWAYS POSING!!! i love this part of the verse because i believe its very marie coded- shes always posing; i wouldnt be surprised if she was even doing it while resting. shes maintained the perfect daughter for so long, its ingrained in her every move. so she’s always kind of posing, even if theres no audience.

‘it's family and it's vomit; it's socioeconomics but none of that really matters it's just who she is’ - of course its family and vomit!! the vomit could be literal- im not sure if her father was ever a reason for her puking before (but theres always a possibility ig:P), or it could be metaphorical of how the way her family works disgusts her. socioeconomics is referring to the popularity she gained because of her family, and how she places herself at the top of the social hierarchy- but none of it really matters, though (ill explain later hokd on)

‘it's not a competition, still it feels like she's winning.’ - okay, so this specific part of the verse made me think that the past three lines could be said in lorens pov. LET ME COOK if you view it from this perspective, the lines could sound like they have more irritation/bitterness behind them, like hes poking jabs at her and such as we go on. it would explain the last part of the line before- ‘but none of that really matters, its just who she is’, as lorens thinking of ‘this is the way she is’ and whatnot. and then in this line, ‘its not a completion still it feels like shes winning’ is how he feels like hes losing against her in basically everything, since his father ingrained the thiught that marie is better than him in every way.

‘it's a hard game to quit once you know how to win, its a hard game to win once you know how to quit’ - i strongly believe these two lines are about both swan children, respectfully. ‘its a hard game to quit once you know how to win’ refers to how marie was forced to be perfect her whole life that it just became second nature. shes been doing this for so long, the thought of not being forced to be picture perfect is practicallu foreign to her. she cant quit the game shes been winning for years. ‘its a hard game to win once you know how to quit’ is loren. hes never had the same amount of pressure to be perfect as marie, so to him it doesnt really matter if hes perfect, as long as he isnt pissing off his father, hes ok. he doesnt need to win a game he refuses to play.

‘i love you so much and you make me so proud’ - since this line is at the end of the song,, id maybe associate it with marie thinking about loren when she finds out he died. shed regret the way she treated him nearing towards his end and when he was gone, so she tries to mimic (MIMIC🤯🤯🤯) their mother, reassuring that even if hes gone, she loved and shes proud

who will I be making depressed today? the mains because I kin 3 of them holy shit (in two parts. this is part one YIPPEE) (also these are the 3 I kin)

ahem. after the ichor incident, sprout became really scared for what could happen, but eventually he suppressed it and basically turned it into a kind of need to feel like he's protecting someone. like for example even if everyone is safe he just HAS to check just in case because what if this what if that this could go wrong that could go wrong if this happens that could happen and this has happened before so if I do this I can lessen the chances of thing happeni- and gets burnt out significantly quicker than... literally everyone else in gardenview. he won't admit it though he'll just sit in his room with the door barricaded (the handlers had the keys to the door locks) trying to function properly, and if someone tries to check on him he'll hide under his bed or desk to avoid being seen because UH OH DANGER DANGER WHY AM I BEING SEEN DOING NOTHING UHHHH OH NO !!! irrational panic basically (even though the only entrance is barricaded...). also, when he discovered tapes could be used to heal he immediately began using them on runs because if even a single person is not on full health he cannot feel relaxed in the slightest- but the dumbass doesn't care if he's on one and WILL run away from cosmo at 1 if he doesn't have enough tapes to heal him back (I'm totally not projecting all of this totally). also random but he will definitely cry if you yell at him (he'll go somewhere to hide before crying though). also has a habit of assuming everything that goes wrong has to be his fault because 'he was supposed to make sure everything went fine'

eepy hypersomniac who in a lot of situations wants to just sleep instead. he dozes off a lot because of that. also, it might be a bit subtle, but he can tell when his friends aren't rested, and usually tries to fix it, even if it's the kind of tired sleep can't fix. also, the guilt from knowing too much about the ichor operation and not being able to say anything about it to protect dandy eats at him endlessly. but you know when he's free from all that? in his curated dreams, where nothing can affect him, where he can be happy, free from all the depressing truths gardenview has to offer (think basil from omori but with sunny's headspace). he's starting to see everything as a kind of cycle... and he's kinda losing motivation to do pretty much anything, but he kinda still has to to survive so. also, the insecurity about his extra arms came from when gardenview was still open, a lot of children called him bug-like for it or even just straight-up scary or ugly, so now he just hides 'em by turning himself into a burrito with his blanket. also, not depressing but... he's just always cold, so he wears a shirt, another shirt, then poncho, then blanket

It’s so cute and the little fanart I see is very nice. Sprout’s dialogue (from what I’ve seen in game) reminds me of how protective and blunt Wrath is. I saw that stupid lil strawberry and went “Oh that’s Wrath, 100%” which is crazy because Wrath doesn’t play the game.

I obviously associate myself with Astro, Wrath has mentioned that it makes sense because I am tired and sleeping all of the time. It’s to the point where he refers to me as “eepy boy”

razzle and dazzle are conjoined twins - their anatomy gets fucky wucky bc they have one heart and split at the collarbone so they have like.. 1 and a half of those in total. necks heads and everything else above that is completely seperate

they also have to work together to control their body, they have equal control over most of their body parts (and then like, some fingers on their left hand only razzle can move, and like half of their toes are under dazzle's control. their nerves are kinda fucked from being atattched to 2 brains)

Week 1 on T:

Bottom growth: I was reading it isn’t so much bottom growth this early but rather increased bloodflow to the area due to the vascular effects of T. Regardless, things are different down there than they were a week ago and I’m a fan. Was not a fan of the frequent achy/pinchy/itchy feeling, but it’s worth it.

Hot flashes. Woke up one night fearing I’d pissed the bed. Nah. Just sweat. So much sweat.

Ungodly hungry but actual appetite doesn’t seem to be any bigger. It’s more like the urgency I feel when I do get hungry goes from like a 2 to a 9 in thirty seconds and I *need* to eat.

Throat has been sore for a couple days now. This could be anything from the shitty air quality to the fact that I smoked a lot last weekend, to the T, so I’m not reading into it much.

Big eepy but not when I should be. I struggle with insomnia already and the T is totally fighting back against my sleeping meds and throwing things off for me. Looking forward to this fabled increase in energy that many speak of.

I feel less inwardly reactive and more outwardly reactive if that makes sense? I’m used to internalizing stuff, especially negative thoughts and feelings, but since starting T I’ve found that I’m more comfortable with expressing them, even if they might upset someone. Just generally feeling bolder I guess?

No obviously body hair changes. I was hairy before T so reading about trans dudes being surprised when butt crack hair sprouts is hilarious to me. I guess I won’t have to adjust to that lol

Libido might be higher? Hard to say. It’s kind of been all over the place and then extremely high after quitting bc earlier this year, so my baseline recently has already been very high without T. I haven’t felt uncontrollably aroused or anything though.

Body odor smells a little different, as do things downstairs. Nothing crazy though. I quite like it actually.

Skin feels smoother but oilier. I have a skincare routine already so I’m hoping I can stay on top of things and genetics don’t fuck me.

I think I'm gonna start posting art on bluesky first because it forces me to add alt text (a good thing, because I forget) and then post it over here with the Lore lol. This is Tirias and Patience, two of the Elbas Island Councillors, asleep on the bus, though I kinda just skipped drawing any of the bus stuff, so just treat it as theatre of the mind. There's no real story to this - I just imagined what it would be like if they had some kind of outing on the mainland and ended up on a long bus trip to go home to Elbas. This has probably actually happened before. Tirias and Patience are both from the mainland originally and travel back there relatively often, and they're good friends with a narrow sense of personal space. Because Patience is blind and Tirias is deaf and mute, they generally communicate with tactile language, which requires them to be close together anyway.

For artistic reasons (affectionate), I put Tirias in personal fall and Patience in personal spring, and for artistic reasons (derogatory) I made Patience's carvings just. a mess. It would actually have been less work to make a more accurate, cleaner version but oh well. They really are a bunch of squiggles tho that feel cool when you run your hands over them. Also I'm trying to remember to make older uep stouter, because uep age similarly to trees, where they just keep adding more rings internally. Patience is 63 years older than Tirias, so despite their different species, she should be generally broader.

Personal seasons are based on when an uep is sprouted (the equivalent to being born, though sometimes they also say "born"). Birthdays are the beginning of personal spring, and roughly every three months the season shifts. This has some internal effects, but since uep never go dormant like real trees, the main effect is that the color and presence of their leaves changes. Deciduous uep do in fact go bald in personal winter and have to eat more to compensate for the energy they're not getting from passive photosynthesis.

Sel didn't have anything to do for the weekend but it was finally getting warmer so she decided to go out into the city for a bit. Not really in the mood for partying but cozy walks, a stop at Conny's bookstore for some coffee or hanging out with the sheep instead.

The occult shop was a bit empty on days like these, everyone was out in the Eilenriede, but this just made the shop into one big living room for her, Nico and whoever wanted to join them.

The way I just saw this right now AUGH-

The ‘it’s family and it’s vomit’ I just wanna talk about the puking thing- it’s DEFINITELY about the disgust and how she hates her family. Especially her relatives, how they discriminate against her, against her brother, her mother all because their different than them (racism yay…) also the ‘disgust’ I suppose against Loren because of the fact that- even if she loves him- disgust towards the fact that he isn’t perfect, her father has this effect, has influenced so much to hate her own brother because he’s defiant. (America core am I right?)

And then the last lyric you went over id argue is their mother. Looking down on them. Because even throughout their hardship, all this pain brought on by their father, the rest of the family, they still go on. This could also be just her towards Loren, or at least what Marie thinks her mother was like to him. That he was her favorite, and she’s proud of him, but was she ever proud of her daughter? ‘it's family and it's vomit; it's socioeconomics but none of that really matters it's just who she is’ - of course its family and vomit!! the vomit could be literal- im not sure if her father was ever a reason for her puking before (but theres always a possibility ig:P), or it could be metaphorical of how the way her family works disgusts her. socioeconomics is referring to the popularity she gained because of her family, and how she places herself at the top of the social hierarchy- but none of it really matters, though (ill explain later hokd on)

‘it's not a competition, still it feels like she's winning.’ - okay, so this specific part of the verse made me think that the past three lines could be said in lorens pov. LET ME COOK if you view it from this perspective, the lines could sound like they have more irritation/bitterness behind them, like hes poking jabs at her and such as we go on. it would explain the last part of the line before- ‘but none of that really matters, its just who she is’, as lorens thinking of ‘this is the way she is’ and whatnot. and then in this line, ‘its not a completion still it feels like shes winning’ is how he feels like hes losing against her in basically everything, since his father ingrained the thiught that marie is better than him in every way.

‘it's a hard game to quit once you know how to win, its a hard game to win once you know how to quit’ - i strongly believe these two lines are about both swan children, respectfully. ‘its a hard game to quit once you know how to win’ refers to how marie was forced to be perfect her whole life that it just became second nature. shes been doing this for so long, the thought of not being forced to be picture perfect is practicallu foreign to her. she cant quit the game shes been winning for years. ‘its a hard game to win once you know how to quit’ is loren. hes never had the same amount of pressure to be perfect as marie, so to him it doesnt really matter if hes perfect, as long as he isnt pissing off his father, hes ok. he doesnt need to win a game he refuses to play.

‘i love you so much and you make me so proud’ - since this line is at the end of the song,, id maybe associate it with marie thinking about loren when she finds out he died. shed regret the way she treated him nearing towards his end and when he was gone, so she tries to mimic (MIMIC🤯🤯🤯) their mother, reassuring that even if hes gone, she loved and shes proud
