The Category System in TMA
I want to preface by saying this isn’t my theory but I cannot for the life of me find the original post, if anyone knows what post I’m talking about please PLEASE tell me, it’s driving me insane
The theory I saw (a while ago, maybe around episode 10?) proposed that categories 1, 2, and 3 all represent nouns. Person (1), Place (2), and Thing (3)
I’m genuinely shocked this hasn’t gained more traction because I’ve yet to disprove this and every single episode just keeps working with this theory, so I wanted to list out every episode as further proof
Episode 1
CAT1RBC5257-12052022-09012024 Reanimation (Partial) -/- Regret [Email]
CAT23RAB2155-10042022-09012024 Transformation (eyes) -/- Trespass [chat log]
Cat1 (person) - reanimated corpse, though I think the focus is more about the person they paid to bring their husband back, which implies there some mystery guy out there with this ability
Cat23 (place, thing) - the magnus institute, and the box with runes that red canary stole
Episode 2
CAT3RBC1567-23092022-18012024 Transformation (full) -/- dysmorphic [video call]
Cat3 (thing) - the tattoo from ink5oul is the main focus, though other ink5oul episodes are focused on them and use cat1 (which has confused people, but this theory explains that imo)
Episode 3
CAT2C8175-03042009-22012024 Infection (full body) -/- arboreal [journal entry]
Cat2 (place) - the garden is what started changing the man making the statement (also seemed to exist as its own entity outside the regular flow of time)
Episode 4
CAT3C7494-19111831-29012024 Collection (blood) -/- musical [letter]
Cat3 (thing) - the violin (the power of the violin still remains even if the object itself changes hands, which means the power lies with the violin and not the people controlling it)
Episode 5
CAT2RB2377-10012023-05022024 Disappearance (undetermined) -/- Invitation [internet blog]
Cat2 (place) - the movie theater (or wherever the movie itself is being played, I assume the statement giver did not make it out of that location)
Episode 6
CAT1RB4824-09022024-12022024 Injury (needles) -/- intimidation [999 call]
Cat1 (person) - Needles
Episode 7
CAT2RC3338-03022016-12022024 Agglomeration (miscellany) -/- congregation [email]
Cat2 (place) - Hilltop Center, Oxford (By episode 20, Oxford has been mentioned multiple times, which is why I think the location is significant here)
Episode 8
CAT2RBC3366-12072023-28022024 Architecture (liminal) -/- hunger [coursework]
Cat2 (place) - the liminal space of Forton Service Station
Episode 9
CAT3RB3354-14101998-08032024 Dice (bone) --/-- fate [Magnus Statement]
Cat3 (thing) - the dice (again, the power of the dice remains the same, even when the dice themselves change hands)
Episode 10
CAT1RB2275-06082021-09032024 Mascot (kids) -/- murder [TV interview]
Cat1 (person) - Mr Bonzo, Nigel Dickerson
Episode 11
CAT23RC5246-06012020-11032024 Tattoo (corpse) -/- compulsion [email exchange]
Cat23 (place, thing) - Padstow civil cemetery, tattoo (the reason I believe this isn't a Cat1 despite it being ink5oul is because we know from episode 20 that the tattoos themselves had special powers, regardless of ink5oul and that ink5oul only started getting their powers after they continuously used the pre-existing designs - this is new information that imo further confirms this theory rather than debunking it)
Episode 12
CAT1RB4728-09032024-13032024 Mascot (kids) -/- frenzy [insurance claim]
Cat1 (person) - Mr Bonzo
Episode 13
CAT3RB4622-17092023-14032024 Gambling (application) -/- self-destruction [voicemail]
Cat3 (thing) - the Zorrotrade investment app
Episode 14
CAT1RB4426-01081995-15032024 Transformation (snake) -/- horde
Cat1 (person) - shop keeper that burst into snakes (the investigator describes no other infestation, and only mentions one hole and one possible squirrel, while the shopkeeper causes all other chaos. We also know that the shopkeeper was being considered by the Magnus Institute before being rejected, like Sam, making this shopkeeper a relatively important person)
Episode 15
CAT1RB6451-22062023-22032024 Hunt (aristocratic) -/- compulsion
Cat1 (person) - Lady Mowbray
Episode 16
CAT1RB1565-30102023-25032024 Tattoo (influencer) -/- cardiac
Cat1 (person) - ink5oul (this one was specifically about ink5oul, rather than the main focus being the tattoo itself)
Episode 17
CAT2RC1147-30111997-04042024 Doppelganger (interdimensional) -/- murder
Cat2 (place) - this one people keep focusing on categorizing the doppelganger, but I think the key focus of the episode is actually the Magnus Institute – Oxford Outreach Centre (another instance of Oxford, another connection to Ep7)
Episode 18
CAT1RC2374-20032024-10042024 Memory (derelict) -/- compulsion
Cat1 (person) - Violet Parker, talking corpse; [ERROR]
Episode 19
CAT13RBC1137-21031684-11042024 Transformation (canine) -/- growth (Crystalline)
Cat13 (person, thing) - Isaac Newton, Diana’s Tree
Episode 20
CAT1RAB2534-12042024-12042024 Transformation (tattoo) -/- Social Media (influencer)
Cat1 (person) - ink5oul (very clearly, this episode is about ink5oul and not about any of their tattoos, though they were in the middle of tattooing a corpse. I think the tattoo is irrelevant to this incident, which is why it's only a 1 and not a 13)
Episode 21
CAT2RBC4254-04011998-12042024 Architecture (landmark) -/- corruption (entropy)
Cat2 (place) - Millennium Dome (also happens to be The Magnus Institute, but I think the main focus is obviously the dome)
I think the *only* one that could be argued as not really fitting is MAGP5 - since you could argue the movie is a thing, and it’s not really the theater as the place, but compared to the odds of other theories that have way more holes this one is so spot on imo
This is the theory I’ve been comparing the categories to every single episode and I haven’t found anything to significantly disprove it, so I just wanted to highlight it one more time in case others haven’t seen it!

PROOF APOLLO WEARS HAWAIIAN SHIRTS
“The Tri-Ni-Sette machine is failing. The world will die.” “We can’t do anything going forward. Going backwards, however, is another matter.” Ryohei had his mission: To go back. To before the most recent Arcobaleno Curse, to before the slaughter of the Simone. To before the Tri-Ni-Sette System finally gave out. Ryohei was used to loss, in the ring and in life. But this time, he promises, he’ll win. Reborn had his mission: Get in this man’s pants, or die trying. After all, Reborn was nothing if not an Icarus. (Or: The ‘size matters’ fic)
Parings: Reborn/Sasagawa Ryohei
Characters: Reborn (Katekyou Hitman Reborn!), Ten Years Later Sasagawa Ryouhei, Sasagawa Ryouhei, Vindice (Katekyou Hitman Reborn!), Arcobaleno (Katekyou Hitman Reborn!), Checker Face | Kawahira

CHAPTER 12: THEY LOVE IT MORE WHEN IT'S BROKEN
Luce sat in the reception room of the Giglio Nero, the large window behind her spilling in the morning light of a clear summer day. She reclined in her chair, hands busy with her latest embroidery pattern; a duo of soft-cheeked squirrels amongst a setting of blooms, yellow petals between their teeth.
Luce paused and ran her thumb over the silken thread, made sure it was tight. There was nothing more disappointing than having your careful work snagged.
The room was still around her. Three figures sat staunch and unmoving, each in the furthest corners. Storm, Rain and Mist. Bundled tight, unintrusive.
It was quiet. Meditative. They could hear the leaves rustle on the olive trees in the garden.
The ice in her glass shifted, sweet tea watered down to almost-bitter. Sweat dripped down the back of her legs, her shirt clung to her sticky skin. Her needle slipped in her grasp.
Luce didn’t need to look to see it. The air tasted burnt.
Reborn had arrived.
Reborn, and something else. Something more.
He was different, changed — amplified. Doubled in size, like something was feeding him and he in return. An ouroboros of Suns, an endless repeating mirror of light and heat and Will.
Luce, still looking down at her embroidery, noticed her hands were shaking. Skin sparkling with beads of sweat. Thread damp.
“What happened to you!?” Skull asked, voice almost abrasive blunt against Luce’s sensitive ears, rasped raw by the crackle pop of an out of control fire.
“Nothing short of a miracle, really,” Verde drawled as he got comfortable on one of the many chairs. He smelt damp, a bit salty. Like he had been trudging the soggy edges of a cold beach. “He found someone almost worse than himself.”
Reborn, ever to bathe in the limelight, sat himself primly upon the grandest chair available. Back straight, shoulders back and chin up, Reborn looked every bit the preening peacock with a fanning halo of excess Sun as his feathers. He was sat on the far side of the room, the other head of the table, but Luce could still smell it too. The smell of hot sand, of wine and barley.
Reborn tilted his head at Luce as she regarded him. His tie had always been impeccable, tight to his throat like some sort of noose. Now, it hung just a touch low, just a touch undone. Like it was making room for something else.
And she could feel it. For every feathery halo, there was a bristle of wings. There was the grinding of teeth, the shuddering of skin. The hiss and pop of a Flame unsettled, a Flame unsatisfied as it found her lacking, suffocating.
Luce felt her trembling fingers strain. Fingers slipping at something so huge the curves felt flat — the edges of the world, the boundless horizon. Massive and eclipsing, blinding even as she bowed her head. That Flame, born anew in the company of something more, was plucking at her strings, at her straining fingers.
Luce took a breath. Felt her throat dry up. Felt her neck break out into a sweat.
Felt the careful embroidery of their Courting begin to snap.
That Flame would not settle for Luce.
“I have a proposal,” Reborn said, his first words since entering the room and everyone was at attention. “I wish to bring another into our… group.”
Group. Not a Set, not yet.
Reborn regarded the people around him with a sharp eye that could cut glass and weld metal, weighing each of their worth — not just for him, but for his Ryohei.
These people: the best the world had to offer in their modern age. He would bring them to Ryohei on a gilded platter, and offer them up to him. Lay them at his feet and let him poke and prod, sink his nails into their flesh and get a feel.
Not as a Set — not unless Ryohei said so — but as company. Monsters among monsters. Let Ryohei stretch his wings and find release amongst the giants of their time. Let him burn, burn and burn it all anew.
Make it new, make it better.
Reborn blinked. That was what he wanted: better. This but better. This, but the best version it could possibly be.
This, but with the incomparable heat of Ryohei setting every other Flame to boiling point.
Luce sat at the head of the room. In a room full of life, full of the most vibrant Flames the world had to offer — she was so very still.
“You Harmonised? With another Flame?” Lal Mirch asked, her posture strict and attentive, eyes even more so as they took in the new phase of the Sun before them.
Reborn only raised his chin more, nose in the air with pride so potent it burnt as hot as his Flame. He let it crackle and pop, let his pyre sing with the overtone roar of two voices.
“Lal Mirch.”
Everyone snapped around. It wasn’t a raised voice. It wasn’t even a change in tone. But in that single phrase, Luce of the Giglio Nero demanded their attention. In a room full of the finest, all eyes were on her. And she was smiling, tranquil and steady as she brushed her hand over her work.
“I think youre confused, Lal,” Luce said softly, her brows furrowing ever so lightly, “Only a Sky can Harmonise.” There was a long pause, a dragging silence. Luce finished a stitch on the squirrel’s tail, fluffy and bright. “But, I’m sure what they have is a strong friendship.”
Luce turned her gaze upon Reborn and smiled something warm and pure. She tasted the blithe sweetness of her tea on her tongue, the bland aftertaste of melted ice cubes.
Luce was the Sky Arcobaleno. Just as her mother, and her mother’s mother before that. The ultimate sacrifice. That was her destiny, her purpose, her burden to bear.
She must keep this Sun.
☀☀
Verde had studied Flames for over a decade now. The concept of the separation between Flame and Ego was one well known to him. The metaphysical chasm in which ‘instinct’ was a thin bridge — and Will the moment of unity. Like a secondary mind, or a Flame-tailored Id, that worked quasi-independent from the Ego, and grew alongside it. Despite this separation, Flames had a way of informing the Ego: the person.
Reborn was an excellent case study for this theory, and Verde watched on, enraptured.
☀☀
The Brazil mission had come and gone, and the seven of them once again sat around a table. Lal Mirch’s choice in rendezvous point was an office building in Palermo for lease, showroom furniture crammed into corners and billboards covering the windows.
Lal Mirch hated being the one to organise meetings, but another job had come in specifically requesting for a handful of their ‘team’. Again, the anonymous broker had promised a hefty amount for their services.
For the most part, Lal spoke exclusively to Viper and Skull, those two being the ones who had accompanied her on the original Brazil mission under the same broker. The rest of them were under invitation to join on the next job to Siberia, though it was unlikely to get a bite.
Verde didn’t care. He had only come to watch.
Luce hadn’t taken her eyes off Reborn since he had walked into the room. Her smile had been bright, warm and welcoming. She had urged him to sit in the chair beside her.
Reborn had sat primly, shoulders back and tie loose as his cheeks flushed pink and healthy. He had been wearing a new cologne lately, something to complement the extra warmth he gave off.
Luce said she was sad to see the old one go. It had been his signature scent for months. It had smelt clean, she said, smelt like citrus. Her Flames curled with a mournful twist.
Now, Reborn smelt like a bonfire, burnt cedar and summer herbs.
Verde knew that back on a little island, Ryohei smelt the same. Reborn made him stand still so he could spray him with that little bottle before Ryohei was released upon the Simone.
Reborn said he likes it better this way. Had been looking for something that fit him better. Sun rumbled in warning.
Luce smiled, her lips pressed tight as if to hold back whatever she wanted to say next.
Reborn faced forward to the group and elected, once again, not to go on the mission. He has other business to attend to in Sicily.
Luce said she looked forward to seeing him at the next meeting. Reborn inclined his head, but doesn’t speak more on the matter. His Flames, however, spoke of nothing but disinterest.
☀☀
The next meeting was called before Lal, Viper or Skull had even returned from Siberia.
Reborn didn’t speak once, despite how Luce flitted about, restless in her tending. Her Flames lapped high, burning between the cracks in the floorboards as she surveyed the group. It brushed against them, sweet and suggestive.
Fon sat beside Reborn, listening to everything, not a thing given away on his placid face as he responded to Luce’s gentle conjoling. Verde sat on the other side, notebook balanced on his knee.
The meeting ended shortly.
☀☀
Verde was deep in the bowels of the Vindice, the stench of fish and rot in his nose and the glitter of broken glass in his hair when the next summons arrived. The rendezvous point once again the Giglio Nero reception hall.
Verde watched as Luce stared at the empty seat beside him. Her nails bit into the soft upholstery of her armchair. Her Flames hissed in frustration.
☀☀
Lal Mirch and Viper had returned. Skull had gotten hurt, but nothing a man of his constitution couldn’t bounce back from. Lal Mirch blamed herself, and Luce was all too ready to soothe the aches of her dear Rain.
Reborn sat on the far side of the room, one leg crossed over the other as he inspected his hat, brushing grains of sand from the black strap after it had fallen on the beach. Skull sat on an ottoman beside him, happily rambling about the shashlik skewers he had eaten during the trip. Skull was wrapped in so many bandages you could have mistaken him for a Vindice ghoul if not for the stinging scent of antiseptic that followed him around.
Verde made a note in the margins of his investigation: Cloud acting as buffer. Sensitive to group dynamic.
With all the sand in his hat gone, and Skull reliably alive, Reborn excused himself.
Verde checked the time; Reborn had stayed for ten minutes. He wrote it down, already seeing a negatively skewed trend in time spent at meetings, Luce being the defining factor.
When Verde looked up, it was to meet the gaze of Fon who sat across the room from him. Black eyes flitted from the now-empty chair to the notebook on Verde’s lap, to the soft frown that adorned Luce’s lips as she stared at the door.
Fon looked back to Verde. Skull picked at his bandages. Viper remained silent throughout.

The Thundermans Return - Part 2
SPOILERS AHEAD!
Previously on my review...
The Thundertwins are taken to Dark Mayhem's old lair, to be tortured by an AI and unfortunately for them, nobody else knows where they really are, so they're on their own.

Later in Hiddenville, the V-Team break into the Thundermans house to find out where the Power Plant is and once again, nobody was able to even face them. I mean, Billy could've knocked them out in a second, but they only saw Hank getting tased by a plasma beam.
All they had to do to get what they want, was showing the family a live stream of Max and Phoebe getting tortured, so Hank and Barb decide to give out the plant, which was hidden inside of the penguin butler all this time.

The V-Team take the plant and leave the house to continue with their plan and even though Hank tries to follow them as always (by flying out the roof), the Thundermonitor informs that Hiddenville is being covered by a powerful dome, so now they can't get out of the city, even with Chloe's power.
By the way, I wonder if the squirrel they used to test the red seeds, was the same one Dr. Colosso lost to, after their short encounter in "Breaking Dad". It was funny though.

Back in Metroburg, Max and Phoebe are in a worst danger, as Dark Mayhem's AI has started to fill the booth with liquid mercury to kill them, and since the cell is un breakable and their powers doesn't work on the liquid, they'll be practically doomed once the booth fills.
Let's pretend that their suits are mercury proof and that freeze breath and heat breath can't reach 234 K and 630 K respectively.

That's when they finally open themselves up to each other, about their reasons to work so hard as superheroes and realized that they're not that different as they thought.
Max was focused on getting famous on social media, because he thought he could never be as good as her, and she was so obsessed with being the best superhero, because that way she could get to feel special again, like when Max was a villain and she was the favorite.

After having this talk, they figure out a way to break the crystal booth from the outside with telekinesis and once they're safe and sound, they find out that they're still trapped in the lair due to the security system and they only have 20 minutes before it gets destroyed, along with them.

Back in Hiddenville, Colosso is still dealing with the evil squirrel as the Thundermans gather some of their friends and neighbours at the park, so they can help them out to go save Max and Phoebe.

At first, Bardford and Mrs. Wong, were hesitant to help since they've always despised all of the Thundermans, but Chloe manages to convince them and this is when we learn that Gideon still has a crush on Barb. Dude...
At the end, only five citizens are given blue seeds to get superhero powers:
Cherry = Pyrotechnic Manipulation Oyster = Super Burp Gideon = Iron Fist Mrs. Wong = Super Tornado Principal Bradford = Super Strength
They all use their powers along with the Thundermans to hit the dome repeatedly, until breaking a hole out the park. Now that Chloe is able to use her powers, she teleports with her family.

They get inside of the not-so-discreet lair, just in time to save Max and Phoebe, but they're still trapped inside with an inevitable explosion and they only have 15 seconds left.

With no password to be used, they were expecting to use Chloe's power to teleport out, but she says that she needs a minute to recharge.
And this is when I said... WHAT?!
We've previously seen baby Chloe using her powers two times in a row in "Are You Afraid of the Park?" or multiple times in "On The Straight And Arrow". The only explanation I can think about, is she only experience this limitation, when teleporting more than one person at a time.
But she's like 12 now, so her powers should be stronger than before, but yeah, I'll let it go.

The place is about to explode, but Hank saves them all by using brute force to deactivate the self-destruction sequence. But there's another problem, since the V-Team is still out there.

And right before they go save the day, Billy finally has a moment to show he's not the dumb they think he is, by helping them to figure out where the villains may have gotten to end with their evil plan; Mount Metroburg.

Far away from there, the villains are all together on the top of Mount Metroburg, ready to launch a giant drone with the red seeds turned into dust and spread them around the whole city, but the Thundermans appear just in time to stop them.
I wonder if the Hero League was aware of the V-Team identity at this point, because I really doubt the guards would just let them walk out of the Superjail next to the V-Team, but considering how easy they must've defeated Max and Phoebe, they probably just knocked out all of the guards in the blink of an eye.

Anyway, they start fighting each other and we fiinally get to see what Kira was talking about, when she said the movie had a lot of fighting scenes. I really liked it, especially because now we see the Thundertwins using all their powers and skills.
Telekinesis to push the enemy in the middle of the battle or throwing back plasma balls, and heat breath and freeze breath to break some plasma shileds and explode a few rocks during the fight.

At first, I kind of felt Hank and Barb's powers were a little bit nerfed here. I mean, they're practically veteran superheroes and still were struggling to defeat King Crab and his daughter. But in "A Hero Is Born", Hank was able to defeat three villains without any help, but here... well he was using a stick to hit the bad guy.
I guess they were trying to balance the fight to not make it boring or easy to win and that's why they find another way to defeat King Crab and She-Crab.
Also, I liked to see Billy and Nora working together to fight back Strongdor and his son, Krondor. They didn't look like they were holding back, but the way they beat them up was kind of weird. I guess that's the price when heroes try to stop the bad guys, instead of killing them.

Anyway, Dark Mayhem is the last man standing and the Thundertwins keep fighting against him side by side, until they're close enough to freeze him and the fight is over.

However, Dark Mayhem Jr. manages to launch the drone at the last minute and even though Max freezes him too, now they have to stop that thing from spreading the red dust around the city.
Hank quickly mentions that the drone is faster than him, so there's only one way to stop it; Chloe's teleportation powers, that's when Hank and Barb finally make the hard desition of letting her youngest daughter take a risk for once, and she teleports with Max and Phoebe.

Now they're flying on the drone as Max shuts down the energy so Phoebe can get the red dust container out, but at one point she slips her hand and is about to fall, so she hands Max the container, getting ready to sacrifice herself in order to save the city. Max refuses and Chloe keeps struggling to thouch her hand to teleport back safely.
Did anyone else notice how Max was holding the container under his right arm, but on the next scene it's gone and he's just grabbing the border of the drone instead, but once they teleport back with the family he's holding the container again and gives it to Hank?

Back in Hiddenville, the family is spending time together at home and talking about their new life at their old town. Everything seems to be back to normal, when President Kickbutt arrives to apologize and get all of them back into the Hero League.

Max and Phoebe ask her to turn their house into the new headquarters of the T-Force, to give their family the place they deserve, to which Evelyn agreeds, along with two more bratty requests from the twins.

We then see that Cherry, Oyster, Gideon, Mrs. Wong and Bradford still have their powers and it is implied that the Thundermans were meant to take their powers away, but they decide to freeze the problem (just like old times) and have a family night together, while enjoying Hank's chilli.
On the last scene, Dr. Colosso is alone at Max's laptop, talking to a misterious voice that seems to be recruiting him for a secret mission, which leaves us wondering if they're actually planning something in the not too distant future, such as a new season or another movie.

And this is it.
"The Thundermans Return"
I was gonna write all the things I needed to point out in this post, but I wanted to elaborate my opinions with more pictures, which I can't add due to the 30 pictures limit, so I've decided to write all I have to say about this movie in a new post, which is already published, by the time you read this.
See you there.

My Favorite Games of 2024
I loved so much of this game. Shame about that convoluted ending. The rest of it is amazing tho. I don't usually get caught up on graphics but holy shit this game is beautiful. Cannot wait for the PC release to see what the Remake mods community is going to do with this one.
Zelda's first outing on her own is making me want another one soon. Hopefully they fix the quick menu system in the next one.
I got a lot of Kirby vibes while playing through this. There is a lot more variation to it than I was originally expecting with scenarios ranging from bake a cake to stop that terrorist group from bombing (not)Big Ben.
This game is fantastic. A love letter to the last 20 years of PS and feels so much like Mario Galaxy. There's so many unique gameplay elements in these levels, I'm so glad it won GOTY.
Finally had fun playing a Soulslike for the first time. Very charming game.
PS1 styled survival horror game set inside an abandoned amusement park
More than just Pokemon with guns honestly. I've been saying for years Pokemon needs to switch to real time combat and this game is a great proof of concept for it.
A charming point and click adventure game where you need to solve the mystery of the stolen *checks notes* lunch...?
Core Keeper's 1.o release showcases why its the best survival craft game to come around in years.
I can't believe how much content this free update added, and then kept adding for months after. Which was somewhat annoying because it kept breaking my mods :<
Probably the closest thing to Portal 3 we're ever going to get. This fan game is a true labor of love.
Games I wanted to play but just haven't gotten to yet:
Little Kitty Big City The Plucky Squire UFO 50 Metaphor: ReFantazio Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind Momodora: Moonlit Farewell Thank Goodness You're Here! Leverage Redemption Log: The Harry Wilson Job
Look i know this episode is probably gonna try and fake us out that Harry actually turned evil and is being mark'd, but the series reboot is named redemption so it'd be a pretty shit thing to do if he actually returned to evil.
I give it 10 minutes most before it confirms it was all a fakeout. (except the dead oilworkers. Those actually died.) --- Once again, comliments to the writers for making the one-scene oil workers instantly memorable to this degree.
There has been a minor timeskip (funeral was today, Harry is still on silent doing the infiltrating)
Ok so our goal is: Find the Worm, Steal the Worm, figure out how to destroy RIZ. (Inside man, Trojan Horse)
Take your Time, but do it right. (Note: Most heists in this show take a half-week, where a real heist you'd prep for months. So we're gonna get to see what our heroes can do with months of prep. Always good) --- Opening Sequence one last shot at seeing a timebomb? --- Another Timeskip, we are now 2 months and a funeral away from Harry first going Trojan Horse.
We're going in. Parker is on her favourite elevator, Elliot is in guard and Sophie is doing her "im supposed to be here" thing.
Elliot has befriended the guard to the degree he knows their favourite break-snack. (but he'll never be the guy from the casinoboat) Hardison is in the system because Special Episode.
Complications start happening, Bligh is physically present today and has overhauled security. Yeah Harry has "sold them out" to earn Bligh's trust. (also "smells bulletproof" is the most autistic "i have managed to link this one sensation to a correlating fact" statement i've heard since "the texture of this MC Donalds chicken nugget tells me that the price of chicken-meat has increased over the last year relative to the price of the breading".)
Ok so if Elliot legitimately infiltrated this place over 2 months, he'd have known about the change in ID policy. Meanwhile if he didnt he wouldn't have known about the bearclaws. So there is definitly some continuity error here.
Free taser!
Harry is on our side, (if he were on team evil, he'd have sold her out) --- So Harry hasnt contacted because he's being tracked (cant go digitally cause Worms, caunt go physically cause his daughter told him his phone has a geotracker literally last episode). He's gonna be leaving breadcrumbs though.
He knows they're there. He's boasting to Ethan about which office he's got cause he knows that a 10.000 USD desk is the type of expensive thing whose purpose can be tracked back.
Its Hardison! Hardison told Harry to go undercover... And Wrench! --- "Im not debating the coolness of the entrance!" 10/10 line.
"the single smartest thing we can do, is to ask for help". 10/10 line --- Ok, Supply Chain hack, but turned into a bailout. Good scheme. "dont die, i need you around to make me look good"
McSweeten and Taggert got promotions! Head of the counterterrorism division and Deputy Director? They've done well for themselves.
Well, Luckily Elliot knows enough slide-of-hand to steal a USB stick. But thats a break-up.
Its happening tonight, Harry has failed to get her to gloat about the teams "one weakness".
Fun fact: The squirrels eating electrical wires thing is true. Its a real problem.
Robot Bodies... --- And predictable failure. Harry is locked in his room without his phone. Access to nothing but the stuff around him.
Sophie is on Distraction Duty, keep Blight focussed on her. Elliot also on distraction duty (Parker is entering window-side into Harry's spot) Hardison is on hacking duties, and the point is to let these guys do the blackout so we can record their presentation as proof they did it because these idiots have a presentation.
The Desk ---- Nice work on the confession. Stylish
Harry is retiring... until the next season gets greenlit. --- Sophie does not like these expense forms, but she's finally figured out what Nate knew all along: this is her stage.

Against the advice of virtually all economists, Donald Trump has single-handedly plunged the world into economic chaos with his sweeping tariffs last week.
It is wrong that a single person can do this, without any checks and balances.
In the United States, tariffs have the force of law. In order to pass a new law in the United States, or to repeal an old one, it is necessary for both Congress and the President to agree. This should be the case for tariffs: both Congress and the President have to agree.
Sign and send the petition to your members of Congress: Please reassert congressional authority over tariffs.
To solve this urgent problem, and to restore checks and balances to our system, members of both parties in Congress are rapidly signing onto bipartisan legislation that would reassert congressional authority over tariffs. In the Senate, Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, and Democratic Sen. Maria Cantwell of Washington, have introduced new legislation that would "require the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of such an imposition and for Congress to explicitly approve any new tariffs within 60 days. The bill also would allow Congress to end any tariff at any time." As of this writing, seven Democrats and six Republicans have already signed onto this legislation. A companion bill has been introduced in the House, also with bipartisan support.
Whatever form it ultimately takes, members of Congress need to sign on to legislation to reassert congressional authority over tariffs, the same way that Congress has authority over other federal laws. Since Donald Trump will oppose any restrictions on his power, any such legislation will require a veto proof majority in order to become law. However, given the strong bipartisan support for these bills so far, it does not seem impossible that we can achieve such a majority.
Sign and send the petition to your members of Congress: Please reassert congressional authority over tariffs.
Notes: 1. When sending letters, you will be required to select a topic for the letter. Every congressional office maintains its own list of topics, so I do not know what topics you will choose from. However, something about "economy" or "foreign affairs" might work. 2. You will also be required to give your phone number. However, this is just standard practice for contacting Congress. Completing this form will not result in receiving texts from anyone at all, and will result in receiving emails only from Bowers News Media. 3. The sample letter you will be asked to send reads: Subject line: Please reassert congressional authority over tariffs. In the United States, tariffs have the force of federal law. In order to pass a new federal law in the United States, or to repeal an old one, it is necessary for both Congress and the President to agree. This should be the case for tariffs: both Congress and the President have to agree. Please support bipartisan legislation of the sort introduced by Sens. Grassley and Cantwell in the Senate, or Rep. Bacon in the House, that would reassert congressional authority over United States tariff policy. Thank you.

Unit 09: Sense-Making of Nature Interpretation
Q: Interpret the most amazing thing you know about nature – get us excited. This is your blog – your audience isn’t out in the field with you so bring the field to your armchair reader.
Nature is so amazing for so many reasons. Throughout my undergrad, I’ve adopted a special interest in evolution — particularly in how species are rapidly evolving amid the climate crisis. I think evolution is THE MOST fascinating aspect of nature. It explains how it came to be, so how can we talk about “nature” without talking about evolution?
Species have been adapting and changing to environmental conditions since the first earthly lifeforms came to be (which was a simple prokaryotic species dating back to 3.5 billion years ago; scientists refer to this organism as LUCA, or the Last Universal Common Ancestor)! I find it so interesting how we know about organisms from millions to billions of years ago due to the fossil record. The fossil record is proof that species have changed over time. I also think it is so interesting that there is proof in the fossil record that species rapidly evolved during periods of intense warming or cooling (climate change). Lately, I have been thinking about what species might survive this climate crisis and why … if I had to put money on any species, I don’t foresee Canadian squirrels going extinct anytime soon — they seem to be all over!
I think it is also important to note that most species have had hundreds to millions of years to evolve into what they are today. In the era of the climate crisis and worsening land destruction/exploitation, species are facing novel challenges due to rapidly changing ecosystems. In my BIOL*3130 class, I learned that some species have been adapting by shifting their ranges to higher altitudes or latitudes where conditions are more suitable. Other species have evolved new traits to cope with changing weather systems, such as Soay Sheep who have been evolving smaller body sizes to cope with warmer temperatures.
This process of rapid adaption and evolution highlights the incredible resilience of life on Earth! It gives me hope that many species will persist despite a rapidly changing climate. However, there MUST be more effort by humans to facilitate the various processes required for evolution. In BIOL*3130, I also learned that the United States and Canada have attempted to create “nature corridors” to help species migrate northward. If more conservation efforts like this could be made, humans could help as many species survive as possible.
My apologies if this post ended up “doom and gloom” … this was not my intention. However, I’m finding it more and more difficult to talk about nature without discussing it’s future on earth. The species on this planet will evolve or go extinct. It’s sad to say aloud, but it is true — unless we take radical action NOW. But until that happens, I think it’s important to come to terms with reality and I don’t think we should ever avoid talking about the climate crisis when we talk about nature and evolution.

I’ve been wanting to talk about the 1982 film adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s groundbreaking novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" since I finally watched it for the first time ever a couple weeks ago. I’m going to dive into my thoughts on the book first since I read it prior to watching the film and I think that perspective is important to keep in mind. This is gonna contain lots of spoilers, so look away if you haven’t read or watched yet.
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? is hilarious. First and foremost. The sense of humour in this book is subtle but knee slappingly funny at the same time. The subtly of the humour comes from the normalization of absurdity that persists as basic truths in the lives of this novel’s inhabitants. Such basic truths that said inhabitants would never understand why you think their lives are funny. In fact, there is nothing funny at all about having to perform regular maintenance on my electric sheep (because I can’t afford a real one) in order to keep my neighbours from suspecting that I lack empathy and therefore may be a humanoid robot, thank you very much!
One of my favourite things about this book by far is this overwhelming obsession with living creatures. In a real life dystopian future, the extinction of animal life would be accepted for what it is. Sure, it would have catastrophic effects on our eco system, and common house cats (if kept alive) would become exotic symbols of status for the ruling class. The thing that sets Dick's universe apart from ours (for now at least), is the existence of androids so realistic that it is impossible to tell them apart without putting them through an empathy test. Androids can fake empathy, but their autonomic nervous system won't align with their response. Their heart rate won't rise, their pupils wont flutter. It's because of this that simply owning and caring for an animal becomes proof of the owners humanity. An android would never feed a squirrel three times a day and make sure it's cage is clean. Surely not.
Bounty hunter Rick Deckard is stopped dead in his tracks by this obsession multiple times throughout the book. His electric sheep is beginning to show signs of failure, and furthermore, his neighbour has a real horse. This makes Rick feel like a lesser man. Why shouldn't he also have a real animal? He stops at a local dealer to find that the cost of an organic heartbeat would cost him thousands upon thousands of dollars. He could put a down payment on a goat for $3,000, but he would have to work all day and retire at least three andy’s to afford it. Philip K. Dick sneaks in tangents about animals and their cost into this book in such a witty way that it just reads as pure comedy gold every time.
Aside from being really funny, this book is also touching and emotional. Secondary main character John Isadore is a “chicken head”; someone who has suffered neurological damage from the dust of decay that encapsulates earth. He didn’t pass the IQ test that would allow him to emigrate to mars, so he lives alone in an abandoned building with his only company being the television, and his empathy box which he can use to fuse with Mercer (a sort of religious figure and experience). John has a heart of gold and his main motivations in the book are connection and acceptance. When he discovers a fugitive android has moved into his otherwise empty building, he immediately formulates a plan to make this stranger feel welcomed. He brings to them… a cube of margarine. That’s what good neighbours do, right? At the end of the book, Rick eviscerates John’s new companions, turning his apartment into crime scene to be evacuated at once. He is kicked back to square one, left with nothing and no one. To see someone so pure in their intentions be taken advantage of and dismissed is one of the most twisted and heartbreaking ends to a story I’ve ever read. Damn you Philip.
I didn’t fully grasp some of the stuff about Mercerism to be honest. Fusing with the empathy box, trudging up a hill and getting stoned by imaginary rocks that somehow manifested with real wounds. It was all a bit hard to follow, but it was visceral and added a layer of complexity to the culture of Dick’s world that I appreciated.

I was a huge movie geek in my later teens and early 20s when I was an underachieving NEET living at home and doing fuck all. I recall times where I would just lay on the couch and watch 3-4 movies in a day. I was addicted to the feeling of gut wrenching emptiness I would get after watching a bleak, honest tragedy like Ordinary People or Oslo, August 31. Blade Runner had been on my watch list for years, but for some reason I never felt inspired to watch it until I finally read Philip K Dick's book. Perhaps at the time I just wasn't interested in sci fi detective stories. Seeing Harrison Ford dressed in a trench coat and tie reminded me too much of my dad's infamous Columbo marathons.
I'll get the pro's out of the way first. Blade Runner is visually stunning. It's absolutely dripping in style. The set design is incredible, showcasing a colourful neon city that is equally as dominated by futuristic technology as it is garbage and degeneracy. The director portrays this world in a highly cerebral fashion that will make you feel like you're in a dream state, for better or worse. Unfortunately the visual side of the film is about all it has going for it, and it feels like they put so much effort into making things look good that they forgot how to tell a good story. If I hadn't read DADOES? prior to watching this movie I would have had no idea what was going on. Dialog is sparse and dry and character development is almost non existent. Characters are introduced to you like you are just supposed to know who they are already. Luckily I did.
I am aware that Blade Runner is simply based off of the book and not a 1:1 adaptation, so I won't fault it for being different. I will however criticize it for it's complete lack of humour or emotional depth. They stripped out almost every facet of the world that made Dick's novel so captivating to focus solely on the narrative of a bounty hunter tracking down androids. There are no empathy boxes. There is no talk of Mercerism. Rick doesn't even seem to care about animals. Not to mention the awkward "love" scene between him and Racheal. Not only was it fully consensual in the book, but it was actually all part of Racheal's plan to cause Rick to feel some sort of empathy towards androids and stop killing them. In the film it comes off as chauvinistic.
On the flip side, J.F. Sebastian, who is based off of John Isadore's character, is hard to empathize with (ironic, no?). J.F. Sebastian is an oddball, but he is by no means a chicken head. He's a genetic designer for the Tyrell corporation who works on androids and builds living toys to keep himself company in his spare time. I did enjoy the spin on his character to an extent, but he doesn't have half the charm of Isadore, and I was beginning to feel frustrated by the writers decisions to copy some things from the book word for word while completely altering others.
The best part of the whole film for me by far was the ending fight/chase scene between Rick and Roy Batty. Now that shit had my full, undivided attention. Roy's full blown psychopathy in this scene was chilling - dislocating Rick's fingers and then playing mind games, slowly counting down from five to give him a head start. Roy cries over Pris' dead body and it makes you question exactly who is lacking empathy here. The sound of rain fills the scene as Roy howls like a wolf and stalks our protagonist through large barren rooms of a haunted mansion. One of the coolest parts of this sequence to me is the verticality of it all. Rick scales a towering cabinet to break through the ceiling into the second floor where he finds a bathroom to hide in. Roy then slams his head through the tiled wall which culminates in a scene clearly inspired by The Shining. From here the chase continues upwards by going out the window and scaling the buildings gothic exterior toward the roof.
Roy could have easily killed Rick during any point during this face off, but instead chooses to save him from falling to his death. Roy hints that all he wanted was to make Rick feel the same sense of fear that androids are faced with their whole lives, living as slaves on Mars. Roy then sits down, cradling a dove, and reaches the natural expiration date of his design - powering off forever. I could probably watch this whole ending altercation scene over and over again. The tension, symbolism and poetry of it all puts the rest of the film to shame.
In conclusion, Blade Runner was disappointing with it's lack of a fleshed out world, flat character arcs and ineffective story telling. It was however highly successful in it's ability to communicate a palette of moods with it's visceral, dream like direction, stunning set design and strong visual identity. I just found myself longing for the sense of humour and cultural richness that made the original story so appealing. I wanted to see Rick's electric sheep. I wanted to hear him chastise Isadore (Sebastian) for setting a spider loose instead of capturing it in a jar to sell like any other sane person would. It's those kind of silly details that would have really enriched the narrative of the film.
Guess I'll just read the book again.

Battling Rodents in Houston? Start with Attic Cleaning and Sealing
Rodents are more than just a nuisance, they can pose serious health risks and cause costly damage to your home. In Houston, where the warm climate offers year-round shelter for pests, it’s not uncommon for rats, mice, or squirrels to find their way into attics. If you’re hearing scratching noises, spotting droppings, or noticing strange odors, it’s time to take action. The best place to start? Professional attic cleaning and sealing.
At Quality Air Duct Cleaning Houston, we help homeowners eliminate rodent problems at the source and prevent them from coming back, starting with a clean, sealed attic.
Why Rodents Love Your Attic
Your attic offers everything a rodent needs to thrive: warmth, shelter, and insulation for nesting. Over time, even small gaps around rooflines, vents, or pipes can become entry points for pests. Once inside, rodents can chew through wires, shred insulation, contaminate surfaces with droppings and urine, and carry harmful bacteria and parasites into your living space.
These issues often go unnoticed until the damage becomes severe, making early intervention and proper attic cleaning essential.
Step One: Remove What Attracts Them
The first step in addressing a rodent infestation is cleaning up what attracted them in the first place. Our attic cleaning process begins with a full inspection to assess the level of contamination and locate nesting sites, droppings, or chewed materials.
We then remove all debris, old insulation, and waste left behind by rodents. This step not only eliminates the mess but also reduces the pheromones and scent trails that attract new pests. Cleaning the attic also plays a major role in improving air quality, as rodent droppings and contaminated insulation can release harmful particles into your HVAC system.
Step Two: Sanitize and Deodorize
Once the space is cleared, we disinfect all surfaces with safe, eco-friendly products that neutralize bacteria, viruses, and lingering odors. Sanitizing is especially important if you or your family members have allergies, asthma, or respiratory sensitivities. A clean attic reduces the risk of airborne contaminants and promotes a healthier home environment.
Step Three: Sealing the Attic
Cleaning the attic is only half the battle, sealing it is what keeps rodents from returning. During our sealing process, we identify and close off all possible entry points using durable materials that withstand Houston, TX’s humidity and heat. This may include gaps in soffits, vent screens, roof edges, and pipe openings.
We also inspect ventilation and ductwork connected to the attic. Unsealed or poorly maintained ducts can become rodent highways, spreading contaminants throughout your home.
Why Attic Cleaning is More Than Just Pest Control
While rodent prevention is a key reason to invest in attic cleaning, the benefits go far beyond pest control. Removing contaminated insulation and replacing it with high-quality, energy-efficient materials can reduce your heating and cooling bills. You’ll also enjoy improved indoor air quality, fewer allergens, and a better-performing HVAC system.
A clean, sealed attic is a smart investment in the long-term health and value of your home.

Full Name: Astra Harland
Age & Date of Birth: 30 years old, March 20th
Birthplace: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Occupation: Tarot Reader / Holistic Wellness Practitioner
MORE
BIOGRAPHY
Astra doesn't speak about her childhood much because there often isn't much to say. Or, there isn't much she wants to say. Her mother was an artist, spiritual, gentle and her father may as well have been a curse. Their home in Santa Fe was often filled with the sound of shattering glass and his angry voice. By the time Astra was eighteen, she left and didn't look back.
She has spent most of her life drifting from place to place, living in cities or small towns and sometimes even motels. It's consisted of meeting strangers that became anchors and learning about the world in a different lens than her father almost taught her to. Astra saw beauty and complexity everywhere, drifting more and more into spiritual practice as the years went on.
New York was supposed to be temporary just like every other place. A friend she once knew reached out after opening a metaphysics store in the city. but somehow Astra began settling in the city more than she anticipated. She stayed with her friend, worked in the little store and began to enjoy the way New York seemed to breathe in it's own rhythm.
After leading a few casual yoga and mindfulness classes at the shop, someone asked if she'd be willing to run a session for their company. She said yes without thinking much of it. One thing led to another, and now she sometimes finds herself teaching breathing exercises or yoga classes for offices and small retreats. It's not something she ever expected to be doing, but like most things in her life, it just sort of happened.
Hosting a class for LUMA is how she met Felix, which changed the trajectory of her life completely. The two of them seemed to gravitate to one another after that, and then along came Nova and nothing was the same again. Astra always says that she's living proof that just seeing where life takes you is often the best way to live.
ROLE/CONNECTION WITH LUMA
Every Wednesday at lunch time, Astra stops by LUMA and the gym is transformed into a little yoga class for any of the employees that want to stop by. Occasionally, Nova might be there too, trying out poses on her own little mat while wearing a mermaid rainbow dress with fairy wings and a crown made of daisies.
Due to her relationship with Felix, Astra has been a +1 to LUMA events at times. Technically, people who have worked there for 3 years have known Nova before she was even born when Astra would turn up with a growing bump.
NOTABLE MOMENTS AT OR WITH LUMA
The first time LUMA tried out Astra's services, it wasn't an optional class. It was a class designed within part of a mandatory team building week, which meant there were a lot of faces there that had no interest in trying it. Felix was one of them. He said he didn't want to do it and Astra replied "You don't have to, but you'll look a little strange just standing there and staring at our butts in the air." Some people say that was the exact moment he fell in love.
Astra once left a crystal as a gift for everyone, said it was for good vibes and positive energy. However, it coincided with a week of mayhem for LUMA. System errors, clients being difficult, code chaos. Now people joke that she hexed them.
She once made fortune cookies for everyone with fortunes she handwrote herself. Instead of people receiving "you will succeed" they received "you will meet a very persistent duck", "sing louder this week.", "trust the squirrel you see next"
While pregnant, Astra stopped by LUMA but fell asleep in one of the bean bags. Nobody woke her up but eventually a circle formation of chairs formed around her and people started clapping. Just to see her wake up and clap along. Except, she woke up and thought it was a drum circle, clapped along in a tribal beat for a few seconds.
To get "revenge" on the accidental drum circle, Astra waited until she was ready to pop. Stopped by LUMA and pretended she went into labor.
When Nova was actually born, Astra introduced her to everyone when she was almost a month old. It's still a moment that, for Astra, can make her cry because everyone has practically seen Nova grow up.
When Nova was two she started making up poses in a yoga session with names like "Rainbow Cat" and "Sleepy Shark." Astra simply adapted the entire class around Nova's imagination, unbothered. The adults followed Nova’s lead with complete seriousness.
PERSONALITY & STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES
Observant, Compassionate, Playful, Intuitive, Cautious, Introspective, Curious, Idealistic, Impulsive, Guarded.
PERSONALITY: Astra is softly and curiously spoken, often following a thought while it's forming in her own mind. She has a natural calmness to her, but there's hints of mischievousness that shine through occasionally. She's personable and warm, somehow grounded and drifting all at once. She loves indulging in questions that have no clear answer, and somehow is easy to talk to. Others find themselves opening up to her without Astra ever having to pry.
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES: Astra's strengths are her compassion, her introspection and her observing nature. It makes her seem knowing and in turn, makes her easy to trust. For someone who absorbs the emotions of others so easily, she gives little of herself in return. Also, her impulsiveness can lead her into unpredictable situations but she would never consider that a weakness.
CURRENT PERSONAL STRUGGLES
Astra loves her life, and more importantly, her little family. But, that doesn't always mean motherhood is easy. She's had to learn to be more conscious of how her decisions could impact Nova, and while Astra has a certain brand of parenting, she still wonders if she's doing the right thing by her daughter. There's also moments where she feels guilty that Felix provides more financial stability for them than she can. She feels somewhat responsible for why his creativity has taken less priority over his work, which reminds her a lot of her mother. Astra's always believed her father was only in part responsible for her mother's misery, the other part was the fact she stopped creating art.
CURRENT WORK STRUGGLES
Astra decided to take the plunge and open her own metaphysics store with a studio. It's been costly, and of course mainly funded by Felix's paycheck. It's not open yet. It's not even named yet. She only received the keys 2 weeks ago and is currently in the process of decorating (threads!!).
RELATIONSHIPS AT LUMA
SASHA: Unlikely friends. Astra is drawn to Sasha's honesty, and is convinced there's a huge heart under all that big red hair and spiky exterior. She calls her her fire-haired cactus and Sasha calls her a hippie. Somehow it works. Astra also understands the struggle Sasha is going through with Isak, even if neither of them outright talk about it. Astra just sees it and recognizes it. Sometimes will watch Isak if Sasha's childcare plans fall through. Nova and him are similar ages and like best friends already.
FELIX: May as well be married and have been inseparable ever since they first met. Astra ties not to make a habit of stopping by LUMA when it's not Wednesday, but it's not uncommon to see her stealing him for lunch. He grounds her in a way she never knew she needed, and has provided a calm sort of stability that doesn't ever hinder her. They're grossly in love, it's probably sickening.
JAKOB: Her brother in law. Astra adores him and says he has the biggest heart anyone could have. She's the calm to his chaos, managing to let him take a breath and look inward. However, Jakob can make Astra's mischief a little more obvious. It's not unheard of them to see them giggling about something they won't tell other people about.
LUNA: They're like kindred spirits. Luna's optimism is what Astra loves, and the way Luna follows ideas and thoughts with an open mind. The fact Luna doesn't always know the right thing or best thing to say only makes her more endearing to Astra. There's an honesty in their friendship that makes it refreshing and uplifting. Also Mia is another Nova friend.
GENEVIEVE: Gen's nurturing energy has drawn Astra in like a moth to a flame. She is nothing like Astra's mother and yet reminds her of her often. In many ways, Astra reverts into a more childish version of herself around Gen and it's healing in ways she never expected.
GOALS AND AMBITIONS
Right now, Astra's goals are focused on her family. She wants Felix to create art for himself again. She wants to feel a little more confident about her role as a mother. And in a more literal sense, the shop she's just opened represents all of it at once. She wants to see it succeed, not just in the financial sense but in the sense of something whole, safe and complete.

What Is an IE3 Motor? A Complete Guide to Energy-Efficient Motors
In the world of industrial machinery and electrical systems, energy efficiency is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity. Rising energy costs, increasing environmental regulations, and the push for sustainability have made efficient electric motors critical to modern operations. Among the leading technologies driving this shift is the IE3 motor—a high-efficiency motor standard that’s becoming the global norm across industries.
If you're a business owner, facility manager, or electrical engineer looking to upgrade your equipment or reduce operating costs, understanding what an IE3 motor is and how it works can help you make smarter, future-ready decisions.
What Is an IE3 Motor?
An IE3 motor refers to an electric motor that meets the International Efficiency (IE) class 3 standard, as defined by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) under the IEC 60034-30 standard. IE3 is categorized as a “Premium Efficiency” level, which is one step above IE2 (High Efficiency) and just below IE4 (Super Premium Efficiency).
These motors are primarily three-phase squirrel cage induction motors, which are widely used in industrial and commercial settings. IE3 motors are designed to minimize energy losses and are built with superior materials, optimized winding, and advanced cooling techniques to enhance performance without compromising reliability.
Why Does Motor Efficiency Matter?
Electric motors account for nearly 70% of electricity consumption in industrial applications. Inefficient motors not only increase energy bills but also contribute to higher CO₂ emissions. Choosing an IE3 motor can significantly reduce operational costs and environmental impact over the motor's lifetime.
By using less power to deliver the same output, IE3 motors help businesses comply with energy regulations and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Key Features of an IE3 Motor
High Efficiency: Reduces energy loss through improved design and materials.

Safeguard Your Home: Professional Wildlife Control Solutions
Wild animals can cause significant damage to homes, especially when they find their way into ventilation ducts and attics. One of the most common issues homeowners face is bird removal from ventilation ducts, as birds often seek shelter in warm, enclosed spaces. Additionally, ensuring proper animal proofing attic against wildlife is crucial to prevent costly repairs and potential health hazards caused by nesting animals.
The Risks of Birds Nesting in Ventilation Ducts
Birds entering ventilation systems can lead to serious complications, including blockages, foul odors, and health concerns due to bacteria and parasites. They often bring nesting materials that can obstruct airflow, leading to inefficient heating and cooling systems. Professional wildlife control experts specialize in bird removal from ventilation ducts, using humane techniques to relocate the birds and prevent future infestations.
The Importance of Attic Animal Proofing
Wild animals such as raccoons, squirrels, and bats frequently seek refuge in attics, causing structural damage, contaminating insulation, and posing health risks. Implementing animal proofing attic against wildlife measures is essential for maintaining a secure home environment. Experts assess vulnerable entry points, install protective barriers, and use exclusion techniques to keep wildlife out permanently.
Effective Wildlife Control Strategies
Inspection and Assessment A thorough inspection helps identify entry points and the extent of infestation. Professionals use advanced tools to detect hidden nests or droppings.
Safe and Humane Removal Using ethical wildlife control methods, trained technicians ensure the safe extraction of animals without causing harm.
Sealing Entry Points After removal, sealing all potential access points, such as vents, chimneys, and roof gaps, is critical in preventing re-entry.
Cleaning and Sanitization Removing droppings, nesting materials, and other contaminants prevents disease spread and restores indoor air quality.
Preventive Maintenance Installing wildlife-proof barriers, such as vent covers and reinforced screens, helps deter future infestations.
Why Professional Services Are Necessary
DIY attempts to remove birds or other wildlife can be dangerous and ineffective. Experts are equipped with the right tools, knowledge, and permits to handle wildlife legally and safely. As part of their continued attacks on both democracy and on immigrant communities, Republicans in Congress have re-introduced the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act―a cynical and unnecessary attempt to require proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections.
The SAVE Act would require all Americans to prove their citizenship status by going in person and presenting documentation―such as passports or birth certificates―when they register to vote or update their voter registration.
This unjust and burdensome process would completely upend voter registration efforts in this country. It would end voter registration drives and completely eliminate online voter registration, which is something that 42 states rely on.1 Under this legislation, tens of millions of Republican, Democratic, and independent voters could lose out on having their voices heard at the polls including the 140 million Americans who don’t have a passport and the 8 in 10 married women who changed their surname and don’t have a birth certificate that matches their current name.2
Tell Congress: Oppose the SAVE Act voter suppression bill today.
Anti-democracy members of Congress are doing everything they can to undermine our electoral system by making it harder for people to vote.
Proof-of-citizenship requirements disproportionately affect people of color, people with low incomes, and naturalized citizens, who may be wrongly removed from voter rolls due to outdated or incorrect data. More than 9% of American citizens of voting age don’t have easy access to the proof of citizenship required by the bill; that’s true of nearly 11% of people of color.3
This bill would make it significantly harder for many citizens to participate in our democracy, all under the guise of "election integrity." But really, it’s people with low incomes and communities of color who often lack the time and money to retrieve or replace documents like a birth certificate.
Careful studies of voting have repeatedly shown that instances of non-citizens trying to vote are extremely rare.4 So these restrictive rules aren’t about solving an actual problem; they’re about suppressing the votes of citizens with low incomes, disproportionately people of color.
We must stand against these blatant voter suppression tactics and Congress must reject the SAVE Act and protect the right to vote of every American. Congress should take actions that will help voters and promote democracy such as by strengthening protections against discrimination in voting and expanding access to the ballot for all communities to ensure that everyone can fully participate in our democracy.
Contact your members of Congress and tell them to reject this attempt to suppress millions of voters and reject the SAVE Act today.
