Guess who just rebooted their first attempt at dming. A entirely homebrew campaign. It’s like I was trying to kill myself.

Funny thing is that immediately after starting it I really want to play a sci fi campaign or a super goofy campaign. Why must it be like this.

Also I’m starting in a pretty lore heavy area ???? I’m going to DIE trying to DM this. Literally did a sesh 1 earlier this year and stopped immediately bc of anxiety 😔😔. But we must seize the day!

#campaigns called Goldenborne from a super old campaign/world idea I had that doesn’t even matter to the current world #like OG Goldenborne was semi grim dark/serious world that was post apocalyptic and riddled with a never ending storm that choked the #sun out of existence #and current Goldenborne has nothing to do w that. apart from there is a storm in one of the countries #pretty happy with my friends chars and everything + the parties balance (minus that there isn’t a lot of Cha around but oh well)#might rant abt the party of the world lore some time soon 🫶🫶#dungeons and dragons #dnd #d&d #i live for dnd #dnd campaign

for day 2 of campfire fest! prompt: third eye (and i guess could also count for explosion, or a lack thereof lol) @outerwilds-events

#i meant to do something yesterday but i had a crazy shift at work and was feeling lazy lol #anyways. pye and idaea after the probe didn't work #this line of text is the first thing that comes to mind for 'third eye' for me bc its the only evidence/in-game mention of the nomai's -#- third eye being special/different from the other two in some way. im curious if it is actually composed differently and has better vision #or if it is just better for seeing fine details in things directly in front of them since it is forward-facing as opposed to -#- being on the sides of their head #also i just think about these two a lot. can you imagine being co-leaders of the most difficult and controversial part of a massive project #that is so important to so many people including your friends family members and ancestors who have died in search of what you are -#- going to potentially destroy your entire clan while attempting to find #you are building a weapon intended to destroy yourself and the entire star system you were born in #and your co-leader is the person with quite possibly the most opposite opinions and disposition to you #idaea having to grapple with the fact that the failure of something he never wanted to exist in the first place is still upsetting to him -#- because despite their differences he still sympathizes with pye who was so confident and wanted it to work so badly #and both of them as well as anyone else working at the sun station put so much time and energy into constructing it #and that work was so miserable due both to the heat and the tension due to their differing opinions and their own mixed feelings on it #pye having to admit defeat to everyone else working on the project who were so excited for this to finally give them the answer #in front of idaea who was so convinced that it was a bad idea and who she was probably desperate to prove wrong #in front of the entire crew of people who had spent probably months in miserable working conditions #after she had been so confident that it would work and so insistent that this was the only way #and she had to admit not only that it failed but that it couldn't possibly work. that deep down she knew and had probably known for a while #- that it would never work and had continued working on it anyway because she wanted it to work so bad #anyways. the fucking brainworms #tried out a new style for this and i really like how it turned out #outer wilds #outer wilds spoilers #outer wilds nomai #frostgnaw draws

Man jambound ended, it feels so odd, something I looked forward to reading every few days has concluded. I'm happy it's not fully the end and jamma still has plans for pv and shmilk.

That whole chapter tho, reading it I could tell this was the last chapter, the bittersweet slowly became sweeter. Smilk getting his own house, lady milk crown cookie still pissed off at him, I'm gonna miss lady milk crown cookie. I'm so happy to see shmilk accepted by everyone and how warm he feels not being bound to a purpose, revenge but simply allowed to live the rest of eternity peace.

Shmilk considering kids was a shock lol. Man writing this out I miss jambound even more. Will definitely enjoy rereading it, I'll even try drawing out scenes that I like.

1. Yaoi is the opposite of yuri

2. According to tumblr, yuri seems to be just about anything, but I have most commonly seen it take the form of two inanimate objects in close proximity to one another. Eg minecraft furnace and crafting table, trains crashing into each other, etc.

Therefore, we can conclude that Yaoi is two inanimate objects that are very far apart from each other. The sun and the earth are yaoi.

It's way too hot and I am way too tired to do any more efforts, so excuse the critical lack of quality here.

If you didn't know, Cole is my favourite Power Ranger :D

And while I was binge watching Ninjago I had the pleasant surprise to see him physically and mentally traumatized in season 5 😈

And since I'm a huge sucker for angst, my brain immediately thought of developing that idea in order to hurt my beautiful baby boy some more. That and also the fact that my brain immediately looks for logic in the laws of cartoon physics (I really shouldn't do that...)

So I bring you the "Cole is a Ghost Kind-of-Saga". I still have a few more ideas to exploit, notably adressing the ways the other ninjas will help him cope with his new condition :3

And maaaaybeeeee a small comic too 😇

Anyways, I will let my brain rest a bit for now and sleep.

#I really want to rant about the things I wrote but my brain is melting #but basically ghosts are part of another plane of existence or smt #which explains for me why they can't really interact with anything from the living world #and also why Cole has visions #and why he has a different perception of time and can randomly space out #and I thought Cole was a bit different from other ghosts because he left the temple at the same second the sun arrived #and it is the reason why he isn't forced to stay in the temple #but also why he can interact with objects more easily #again these are just conjectures and headcanons from me #don't take this seriously #and also YES I'm gonna LOVE to write about his friends reactions #and how they can help him go through this #Because I still think that it is a lot #And Cole must suffer about it #But I also think that he is not the kind to express his feelings so he would suffer in silence #so his friends will have to be supportive without being too invasive #I think that there will also be a phase where they will prevent him from fighting/going out at all to protect him #because he would risk his life when they fight against other ghosts and he can't touch water and still has problem controlling his abilities #so even more angst because he would feel useless and the others would fear for him nonstop #my art #ninjago fanart #ninjago season 5 #ninjago cole #ninjago #cole is a ghost
