today, i (unintentionally) learned about the creature immortal jellyfish and this process called transdifferentiation, where, instead of dying, an old or stressed jellyfish would revert back to becoming a polyp (kind of equivalent to de-aging) and then grow into a mature jellyfish again. then repeat cycle.

Edit since a lot of people seem confused - your "real" name is the name that you want to be referred to in real life. It doesn't have to be your legal name. So if you're trans and you have a different name to whats on your birth certificate, even if not many people call you by the name, it still counts as your real name.

In original Dragon Ball, Yamcha tells Goku that Bulma is “hard to handle”, presumably due to her feistiness and strong willed personality.

In Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta tells Goku that Bulma’s feistiness and strong willed personality is what he finds the most attractive about her.

Ok but like, I like to imagine/headcannon that despite being such a hero, Mario feels a a lot of pressure from his role.

Like the guy is always seen as the solution whenever someone or something is a threat to the Mushroom Kingdom.

I mean, he's been through so much, which includes going through the galaxies (technically twice) and having his own brother turned against him into the harbinger of the apocalypse.

So how could he not, when knowing that he's their hope? When in his mind and literally, the Kingdom depends on him.

Think of it kinda like Luisa from Encanto with her pressure.

Now put that onto Mario.

He just doesn't want to let anyone down or be seen as a failure. Because not only would he fail, his failure/letting them down would lead to his loved ones to get hurt.

So he just pushes through it, and does his best to hide how he's really feeling. Because if he doesn't, it'll be a sign of weakness. And he doesn't want them to see him be weak, he's supposed to be their strong hero.

To add to this, I also like to think that he feels guilty that he's gotten captured (three but technically 4) times by King Boo.

He doesn't want to be a burden to Luigi, so whenever he encounters King Boo or a swarm of boos, he's determined to fight back and thinks he can do it, only to be proven wrong (again and again) when he gets placed in a painting.

Mario probably gets frustrated at himself for not being able to defeat them in the same way he can easily defeat other enemies he's ran into.

Although he probably doesn't want to admit it. All of it. He doesn't want Luigi to get worried for him.

I have mixed feelings about Zerxus in season 3 of TLOVM, but I’ve gotta say hearing him give a Totally Unbiased Account of EXU: Calamity with Definitely No Omissions Whatsoever was kind of funny. Like “ooh I thought I could count on my friends….they condemned our civilisation….” Ok Zerxus. Buddy. Last time I checked, Nydas was actually the only one trying to stop Laerryn from blighting the tree. You sat there like a chump and did not help whatsoever. And uh. “They condemned our civilisation with their hubris” ummm pal I think you’re missing an important detail there. Like yes the point of EXU: Calamity is that everyone played a role in the disaster, everyone was responsible in some ways for that ship crashing into the iceberg, but uh. Zerxus I think some people were maybe a little more responsible than others. Like, for example, the certain someone who pulled the Lord of the Hells into Exandria. I think that individual’s hubris is maaaaaybe a little bit more important than some of the other hubris on the table here.

And like, this isn’t me bashing the writing, I think it is in-character for TLOVM!Zerxus to say this, since he’s been a jaded miserable devil for a thousand years. But omg when he had the CHEEK to be like “in the chaos I found myself face-to-face with the Lord of Torment himself” like EXCUSE ME??? Buddy you just happened to “find yourself” face-to-face with Asmodeus huh??? Just coincidentally, on accident??? You were just taking a stroll around Avalir and he ran into you without warning??

Zerxus. Please. Be serious for a moment. Would you like to explain to Pike the exact circumstances of HOW you found yourself face-to-face with Asmodeus, hmmmmm? A certain “pulling Asmodeus through the tree and unleashing him upon the world” situation?

Like, I know it was meant to be a serious moment with lots of Calamity-related hype but like, it was really giving “Girl what were YOU doing at the devil’s sacrament” energy. In the most literal way possible

i LOVE watching driver cams before and after a race. i feel like such a little fly on the wall. it’s amazing. you start to notice things with drivers too. tom and oscar always fist bump before a race, kimi and bono do a little clasping of hands, isack seems to often close his eyes to get in the headspace before racing, after a race alex always takes off the headrest but lando just slides out. it’s so FUN.

A while ago, @moonwoodhollow and I started working on rebuilding our Super-Sim-Save. Last year in summer I've lost my whole sims-game, including every save-file and every screenshot. Lol. Just everything I've done in the Sims since 2017, including my Super-Sim Lola Shaw. Berry later joined me with this challenge and together we created the most complex and ridiciolous story around Lola.

For our new save-file, we decided to start the story very early, with Lola's childhood, or rather, before she is born.

Her childhood-home is almost done, located near the quarry in Evergreen Harbour. Doing interior with @moonwoodhollow is always fun and one of my favorite things to do in the Sims <3 thank you for always putting so much time and talent and love into our projects, and for putting up with my crazy ideas.

Luigi would immediately rush to Sarasaland the moment he heard about Daisy having period cramps. He'd make sure to bring her favorite sweets, tons of water and a hot pad for her belly, and he'd unhesitatingly invade her kitchen and prepare some hot tea that then he'd bring to her bed so that it could comfort her and keep her warm inside.

And then he'd stay with her for the rest of the day, just quietly reading while she sleeps or binge watching her favorite shows with her for the millionth time. And he'd laugh with her as if it were the first time watching it, only because he loves to see her happy and slowly recovering and feeling better.

Beerus’s treatment of each generation of the Saiyan Royal family is hilarious to me.

He has beaten up and humiliated King Vegeta (over a pillow mind you) and has possibly even done similar treatment to previous Saiyan kings.

Years later he kicks the shit out of and disrespects his son, Prince Vegeta.

And then comes King Vegeta’s granddaughter, Bulla, who Beerus has a soft spot for and babysits.
