This is gonna be from my scrapbin for Apotheosis/Apostate AU where one ascended to unwanted godhood (+ desprately hoping their humanity stayed intact) and the other is an immortal (that cared far too much for the world and its mortals that they descended +) gained a body.

I've explored the mortal and immortal Emduo routes like dihybrid punnet squares, I'll put a poll on which Tech/Phil will be used for whatever this will be

If it's mortal!Techno with mortal!Phil in the poll, one of them will die for the ascension buff of becoming god and turn the other

Techza Time Travel AU -

In the OG timeline, Phil is like 18 and his parents push him to marry the Emperor of the Antarctic Empire.

But Phil is young and rash and rebellious. And he's heard all the rumors about how the Emperor is this old, beastly ugly man. How could his parents try to set him up with someone like that???

So instead he joins the imperial army of the opposing kingdom to the AE. He lives a good 20+ years or so, falls in love , etc and has a good time. Is a high ranking general or something.

Then the AE attacks and fucking wipes the floor with them. Phil doesn't even die in combat like he wants/expects but is instead killed by someone he trusts.

And when he wakes up, he's back in his 18 year old body on the day he was supposed to travel to the AE to marry the Emperor but instead he ran away. Considering he just got killed and betrayed, and is fully aware of the AE's military prowess, he decides not to run away this time. He'll go through with the marriage, even if he has to suffer being married to a beast.

But then Phil sees Techno for the first time and while his 18 year old self definitely wouldn't have been happy, Phil isn't 18 anymore. He's in his 40s and his standards have changed and Techno is meeting all of his standards.

Meanwhile, Techno, who was probably blackmailed or pressured into the marriage or something, goes to join Phil in their bedroom on their wedding night and is like "hey I know you were forced into this don't worry about anything, I won't do anything - where your clothes at."

while i work on Pinewood and Iron ( deity au ), i have come to preach my favourite au, which is actually rivals / enemies to lovers em duo. its cliche but ugh its so good

i enjoy the thought of them being all competitive, and honestly trying to kill each other ( bonus points if they’re gods, kings or warriors ), but they start getting closer to each other. not by will. they also start respecting each other- hating each other as well, but they respect each other to a degree

i think i like the thought of one day, one of them is hurt.. i’ll use techno as an example. but technos hurt, and phil freaks out because like what the hell??? phils the one supposed to be beating the fuck out of techno not someone else

and shit snowballs from there , phil patches techno up and shows genuine worry and techno is like “ hrm….”

i usually write techno as demiromantic so like if i ever wrote anything about this it’d be the longest slowburn you’d ever see

yeah I wanted to try my hand at some Techza idk, it's a ship I don't generally think much about but I DO tend to see bottom Techno a lot in regards to it and I was like "...okay but IF that happened, I see him as a top" so I used my writing powers to make that happen

anyway I do also still see Techno as ace, he literally only does this for Philza because of the deep connection they share, he would not do this with anyone else. But what he and Philza have is special, and if his friend wants a lil attention, well. He can give him a good time 😏
