100% would write the fic where they have to babysit Scott and Barda's Incredible Escaping Toddler and of course the kid manages to active a Boom Tube and they have go to Apokolips to rescue her and the whole time they're bickering about whose fault it is and which of them is the worse parent and Ted doesn't appreciate Booster who spends all day at home making sure everything is nice for his hard-working husband (Ted: "You don't do that and we aren't married"). Somewhere in there Baby Free somehow manages to topple a 20-foot brutalist statue of Darkseid. Booster is now accusing Ted of just keeping him around for hot meals and hot sex on demand (they are not dating and Booster can't cook).

Finally Ted gives up and promises to be a more attentive husband, right before they find Baby Free sitting in Darkseid's lap and he's like "Please take her and leave, you are both so annoying." Booster fully takes Ted's proposal seriously and starts moving his shit into Ted's apartment and Ted's like "You know what, actually? This is fine, I'm okay with this. As long as Scott and Barda never find out that we lost their kid on Apokolips."
