Imagine you live in pelican town. The new farmer has been here a couple weeks now and seems to be settling in, except... He's picking the weirdest friend choices. Like sure it's not weird to befriend the local fisherman, especially when he has an interest in fishing himself, but you're pretty sure you've seen him rooting through the Saloon's garbage with the local homeless man. As well, he keeps harassing the poor guy who works at Joja even though you KNOW he doesn't want to be friends with him.

And since you're on the topic of weirdness, isn't it odd he seemingly runs everywhere at a full sprint? Or just... Eats entire raw fish while fishing for "energy reasons"...

Despite all that, it's too early to call him off putting or anything... He has been engaging in town traditions, and he's started helping out with the old community centre. He's probably like the rest of you. Someone with a few quirks, that will fit in with the valley great!

i am once again rotating in my mind the image of ethan frantically pacing back and forth while they try to get the rest of the team trapped underground in the doomsday vault out after they capture the entity….. ohh the panic the restless energy the exhaustion staved off just a little longer by the worry. and then they finally make radio contact or whatever and by some miracle the voices of each member of the team declare themselves one by one… except benji . so of course ethan goes where’s benji and there’s a pause for a long, agonizing moment before they tell him he’s here but he’s not doing well, and the rescuers tell them we’re gonna need a little bit longer, and they say okay, but hurry if you can, and ethan’s this close to tearing his hair out because he did it, they did it, they stopped the end of the world and it wouldn’t be fair, then, would it, for benji to die now. ouuhhhh he’d dig until his hands were raw if he had to to get them out

i know i've been talking about ramb non-stop but there's something else that is like. haunting me so goddamn much about deltarune and what do you know it's spamton. it's spamton!!!

i don't think it's fanservice. that pipis scene was in a way but i don't think the rest of it was. he is haunting the fuck out of the chapters after him and i don't think it's just for the fans or for the tobert (cause he likes spamton too). ever since chapter 2 revealing DEVICE_FRIEND, the resemblance that spamton has to it was something i couldn't ever shake.

this thing is supposed to be isolated from the in-game universe and exists in the technical area of the game, as we know from its filename. but for some reason, there's a man in the dark worlds who practically has the face of it. and we all know he's not supposed to look like that. it was implied enough before, but tenna's reaction to seeing his new form says that there's something wrong with how he looks to the point of not being recognizable and it being frightening (maybe it's just particularly frightening for tenna though since cyber world darkners just regard him as being strange)

the FRIEND entity also keeps getting associated with cats, which made me wonder.. most people think the "puppet/cat" thing in one of spamton's Q&A answers is in regards to him, and if this is correct and the FRIEND-cat association is entirely purposeful, it makes me wonder the hell FRIEND did to spamton for his original element be overwritten with FRIEND's cat element. AND he has the puppet element. so what part of spamton is still spamton? (i guess his skin(?)tone and hair)

there's something. more wrong with him. than the other darkners. and ngl it's driving me bonkers that i don't know what it is!!! i feel like the FRIEND-spamton connection needs to be considered way more now that there's a lot more appearances from FRIEND. just. why does he look like that thing. WHY DOES HE LOOK LIKE THAT THING !!!!

Peeta has said many charming things, but this line always has me giggling and kicking my feet. I don’t understand how Katniss was so strong.

Suzanne really decided to create the perfect man: he can bake and paint, he’s charming but not cocky, and is really kind and caring only to then strip and distort his entire personality, thanks suzanne.

I kinda hate how they changed this in the movie. Even in the paragraphs before this they had this flirty banter that was so so good. The movies erased or changed nearly all of their banter though.

But, anyway - Peeta Mellark is the blueprint that no other book boyfriend has lived up to.
