Something I think is really funny about dratchrod is that I see so many people try to use drift as the middle man or like a buffer between ratchet and rodimus instead of recognizing the ratchrod side of things and I think people straight up forget ratchet and rodimus are friends. Like outside of drift.

They've both known each other for muuuchhh longer than either knows drift; they are war buddies!!! (NOT TRYING TO TAKE AWAY WHAT THEY HAVE WITH DRIFT IM JUST SAYING)

we see in MTMTE they literally just hang out. So many of the interactions we see of them are just them together with no one else on purpose just to talk bc they are friends. Their friendship in and of itself isn't super obvious if you dont look bc lots of those interactions you just see them together and imagine "Oh they are just alone by coincidence" but ITS THERE GUYS!!!!!! That's also not to say drift doesnt connect them- I think dratchrod works so well in my head because each of them brings out parts of the others.

How could we bring up OnlyMechs and not mention Ratchet? Pharma, Deadlock, and Hot Rod are his biggest subscribers.

HOW COULD I FORGET RATCHET. THAT GRUMP OF A MEDIC IS STILL GOING STRONG ON THAT SITE.

I can see him mostly doing close ups on his valve and spikes, but in a few of them you can see his face. He's like a sex toy reviewer. his favorite toy is 100% a Decepticon replica (down to a reasonable civilian size, but still big to not be a beginner false spike) of Megatrons most well known assassin Deadlock. (Deadlock flipped upon hearing that, and gave him more money then he normally does (He's good at budgeting, but not when that video came out.))

Hot Rod helps Ratchet out as a mod, but is also there in person helping him to get on and off the false spikes. And if he's lucky get his spike sucked on camera.

Pharma tried being a mod, but got quickly kicked for his inappropriate use of mod privileges, and only allowed to return as a guest. He's still very grumpy about that. but jerks his spike overtime Ratchet goes live.

you know what would be funny with the whole multiverse fuck your partner thingy we had going on?

imagine in different universes they had different partners. It makes sense, as different places don't have the same circumstances. (besides for megop and mayhaps jazzprowl)

like, tfp/rb bee has blades! they are very much in love. TFA bee obviously has his insane wife. while IDW bee is low-key with starscream (don't ask, they don't know either) basically all bumblebee's kind of have a thing for flyers

or idw Prowl coming in with the constructicons (also with his jazz they all fuck 🤷)

also the other Bulkhead's, who have never thought about fucking Soundwave before.

You know what that would make it even funnier. I can see for G1 Ratchet his parner would be Wheeljack, and so seeing this religious/ feral mech, but also maybe a silly goose(IDW Rodimus) with all the other Ratchets. And he's just a bot that likes to exsplode things. IDW Prowl coming in with Jazz and the the constructicons like a girlboss. Everyone is intimidated by by them. There is still the rule everyone has to fuck everyone, even when not everyone has the same lover/ multiple lovers/ no lovers.
